We chose Aromas del Peru for dinner and it hit the spot like a perfectly timed sunset after a long beach day. 🌅 We started with a couple piscojitos—a refreshing cross between a pisco sour and a mojito. Bright and crisp with an excellent presentation. We skipped traditional appetizers and snacked on cancha (“big corn”) served with a green aji sauce. The corn was toasted until light and fluffy, while the sauce brought a garlicky, herby heat that lingered just enough to keep things interesting. For entrées, we ordered the beef lomo saltado and the risotto huancaína lomo. Both dishes delivered the rich, comforting flavors you'd expect—savory, satisfying, and excellently prepared. This is the kind of food that feels familiar and exciting at the same time and will keep me coming back for more! Great atmosphere, attentive service that greeted us at the door, and a relaxed but polished vibe. I've always been impressed by the hospitality & quality of Peruvian restaurants in South Florida. Unfortunately, some of my favorites have since closed. I encourage the community to support Aromas, as they are a delicious option and one I hope to visit many more times.
Went here for Valentines Day but the Friday night before. This place gets pretty packed. It's nice and cozy on the inside but comfortable and ambience is great. The service was attentive, informative, and super effecient. The appetizers came out rather quickly. The drinks right away also. Got an old fashioned & wifey got the spicy mama. For the apps got pulpo a la parilla & ceviche clasico. Both had amazing presentation and the flavors were top tier. For the main course wifey got arroz con mariscos and I got the stew lamb. The portions for everything were plentiful so we got full and had to take half home. The food was really good, service was A1. Would definitely love to go back. There are so many different dishes that would love to try. Btw parking is in same building in a garage. You get it validated so it's free, great perk for that area.
A very horizon-expanding menu. Started with a carefully crafted sidecar. The corvina ceviche was on of the best things I've ever eaten. Then I had Chaufa de Chef (quinoa & rice with pork belly under an omelet topped with pickled turnip and shrimp. Amazing. The Malbec from South America (recommended by my waiter Fernando), paired perfectly with the meal (and was delicious). Go here. Fernando is excellent. The staff in general is very welcoming.
First time visiting Aromas del Peru and I will definitely be back! Came to celebrate my husband's birthday and everything was outstanding! From the food to the service 10/10. Our server Lucero was super nice and let us know all the specials, made sure we had everything we needed, super attentive! The food was spot on, you won't regret coming here!
Aromas del Perú 🇵🇪✨ Peruvian-born here, and I can confidently say the Ceviche, makis, & Lomo Saltado dishes were done right. Authentic flavors, beautifully plated, and genuinely tasty. Not cheap—but you’re paying for quality and tradition, and it shows. A couple of honest notes: they’re a bit stingy with the sauces, and service felt a little rushed toward the end (we were catching up and lingering). Still, the food delivered, and authenticity matters most to me. Overall: pricey, authentic, and delicious. I’d absolutely return. 👏🍽️
I come here all the time with my family I recommend almost everyone I know to come here. I always sit at the bar especially if Diego the excellent bartender is on shift. I have seriously tried almost everything on this menu and even the food I am not accustomed to is delicious!! As for the drinks they are incredible from visually appealing to delicious Diego does a great job crafting his drinks and giving impeccable service. 100/10
We followed the excellent reviews to Aromas Del Peru, and I can tell you that they are correct. Fernando was an outstanding server and every aspect of the meal was perfect. The food was authentic, fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend making this restaurant a must to come and enjoy the experience!
This hidden Peruvian restaurant is situated in the bottom floor of a residential high rise. The building is only 1/2 block from the beach. The waitress tried to get me to go for a Risotto Lomo..However I opted for the traditional Lomo Saltado. Unquestionably, the BEST LOMO I HAVE HAD. Congratulations Aromas for preparing this dish so exquisitely. This is a must do!
My family and I went out to eat here for my wife's birthday. It was our first time to this establishment and the food was spectacular. From the grilled octopus appetizer to the main entrees, everything was delicious. The drinks were great as well and they used dry ice to create an aesthetically pleasing touch to the drinks. The staff was very friendly and our waiter was very hospitable and took the time to walk us through popular menu items and make recommendations. This place is definitely worth revisiting. I highly recommend. Hopefully, your experience will be as good as mine.
Small but quaint and busy place. We tried it for the first time and there was no wait and they even have outside dining available but it was very windy. There is plenty of covered parking in the well lit garage in the back. We were pleased with the food and presentation. The staff did not understand fully what we requested but were very friendly.
Had a great experience thanks to our server, Elvia. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Orders came out exactly right, drinks were always refilled, and she had such a positive attitude that made the whole visit even better. Excellent service like this really makes a difference — we’ll definitely be back and hope to have Elvia again!
One of the best parts of visiting South Florida is the incredible variety of food you get to experience, and Peruvian cuisine has become a must-have for us over the years. We first discovered it in Hollywood Beach, FL, and have been huge fans ever since. Unfortunately, our three favorite Peruvian spots have all permanently closed, so on this trip we were on the hunt for a worthy replacement—and that led us to Aromas del Peru. Right off the bat, things started strong. There was plenty of parking (not always easy to find in South Florida), the restaurant was easy to locate, and we were greeted immediately with no wait to be seated. Our server was friendly, welcoming, and very efficient throughout the meal. For drinks, we both ordered the passion fruit piscojito, and wow—the presentation alone was an 11/10. Even better, the drink itself was incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced. I have a serious weakness for Risotto Huancaína Lomado, and Aromas del Peru’s version absolutely held its own against some of the best I’ve had. The risotto was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned, and the steak was cooked exactly to order (medium). Overall, our experience was wonderful from start to finish. Aromas del Peru has officially earned a spot on our must-visit list, and we’ll definitely be back on future trips to the area.
We loved it here! Adding it to our list of favorite Peruvian restaurants. The staff is super friendly, food is 10 out of 10 and the ambience is lovely. We ordered the grilled octopus and it was to die for. Perfectly cooked. And perfectly paired with small potatoes corn and a yummy sauce. My daughter had a churrasco. It was cooked to perfection, meat was tender and delicious. We also had the papa a la huancaina, a jaleita and the Peruvian paella. I can’t tell you how amazing everything was, you’ll need to come try it yourself!
Diego and Kaled the bartenders were very friendly and Ceviche was delicious. The tostones were also cooked perfectly with a great crunch on the outside. Very clean modern look inside and didn’t wait too long for food.
Came here for the first time to celebrate my anniversary. From start to finish it was a great experience. Lucero was so warm and welcoming, checked up on us often and always had a smile on her face. Since I made reservations, she made sure to add the happy anniversary letters on our dessert! Would definitely come back again! Also highly recommend the Cholo Power ceviche

They've come a long way since they opened just a short few years ago. It's become quite popular. From being one of only 3 occupied tables in the restaurant on a Saturday night when they first opened, to now being a packed house on almost any given night, the word is out! Definitely a top tier restaurant! In my humble opinion, it's not the absolute best Peruvian cuisine in South Florida, but for where -exactly- it's located (Atlantic Blvd and A1A) it's a diamond in the (not so) rough. 😁
Great dinner date night! She came back from a vacation in Peru and has been dying to try some local dishes. It was amazing can’t wait to come back! Parking is waived when ur bring in ur parking pass to the hostess
The experience was Amazing!! The support by Lucero was great!! We tested the "Parrilla Aromas and Ceviche Cremoso (salmon and mango)" delicious and Very, very, very good!

Excellent service. Great food. Awesome ambiance. Convenient parking. Good location. It was worth to visit.
First, the service is very good, Lucero was a great server! She gave recommendations and I was able to bring my luggage with me. The food flavor, was just ok for me, I think for most people food would be better (I want to be fair and say that I have extremely high standards, like top 3 restaurants in the world). I ordered: passion fruit tiradito, maki acevichado and a passion fruit mousse. Fish seemed fresh, cut for tiradito was adequate and flavors werent bad, but for the maki roll it seemed the shrimp had been sitting there for some time, flavorwise the acevichado sauce was fairly good. Definitely, a good place to try peruvian food, definitely real one!
I loved the Aji de Gallina and my partner liked his lamb stew. Good portion sizes. Service was passable but the drinks were weak. Parking is in a structure on-site and they do validate
We went there for dinner last night. The place is very nice with a great atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious, definitely the best Peruvian food I’ve had so far. The service is good but not excellent; the staff is attentive but not very friendly. They seem in a hurry for you to order, and they don’t really explain the dishes or make suggestions. The restroom is terrible, you practically have to go through the kitchen to get there, and it was dirty. We would definitely go back for the food though, because it’s really worth it, even if the service isn’t that friendly.
From out of town and went to celebrate a birthday, the food was delicious and our service was pretty good. We asked our server at the end of the meal if they do anything for birthdays and our server indicated and said that we could have a free dessert. They proceeded to bring out a tray and showed us the options. When we looked at the receipt again after leaving the restaurant we saw on our tab that we were charged for our birthday dessert. We called the restaurant and after a few minutes of explaining what happened, we were told all they could do is comp us a dessert next time we come in. We will not be returning to the restaurant. Also, the water is not free.

The food was good, the service wasn't the best. They got the food right and out promptly but didn't check with us again after we got our food and drinks. Also this is Peruvian fusian food with a Cantonese twist - not a bad thing just noting it as it was a bit of a surprise when I arrived.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to poor service. The waitress was not attentive, despite the restaurant not being busy. I asked for the Wi-Fi because I was working on my laptop, and she either ignored me or took an excessive amount of time to provide it. I eventually had to leave my table and ask another server. She did not check on me during the meal. I had to request salt from a different server. In addition, she never reminded me to validate my parking ticket. Since it was my first time there, I was unaware of this requirement and was charged $15 when exiting. This is an appealing restaurant with decent Peruvian food, but the service was significantly lacking and disappointing. When I go to a restaurant, I expect to feel taken care of, even in the small details, and unfortunately this establishment failed in that regard. Given the prices, much better service is warranted. I strongly recommend being very attentive about parking validation, as they do not remind customers.

Parking is a nightmare. There is no valet, no visible customer parking, and you’re forced to park down the street in public parking, pay through a clunky app, and walk over. The only nearby parking appears to be private condo parking. The ceviche was a joke—an extremely small portion for the price. On top of that, they attempted to upsell what I believe was seabass, without clearly explaining what it was or providing a price. Service was awful. We were seated directly in front of the waiters’ station, where multiple servers stood around watching us eat. After the food was delivered, our waiter disappeared. My glass sat empty while I was eating spicy ceviche, and despite several staff members standing nearby, no one offered help. After roughly 25 minutes without a drink or water being filled on the table, I had to go to the bar myself. Then the bill arrived, and suddenly everything made sense. An automatic 18% gratuity was added, so of course the service didn’t matter—they already had their tip. Completely unacceptable. Save your money and go somewhere else.
