Food was very nice and they were very flexible to change for me. What I needed in my plate servers were very professional and friendly. The view is outstanding and make sure you go there before the sunset if you’re going for dinner.

Oceanic absolutely delivered on every level. The atmosphere is incredible, especially sitting outside with the ocean breeze and live music playing. It creates such a fun, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. The live music was the perfect volume and style, adding energy without overpowering conversation. The food was excellent. The lobster roll was fresh, generously portioned, and perfectly seasoned, and the fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned just right. Everything came out beautifully presented. The cocktails were refreshing and well balanced, especially the vibrant pink drink that was both delicious and visually stunning. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. Oceanic is the kind of place that feels special but still comfortable. Perfect for a casual lunch, date night, or just enjoying good food with great views and music. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it.

Carlos and Darek were such amazing bartenders and servers! My experience was so great. I was able to enjoy the ambiance, laugh, watch a great game, enjoy the weather, and the fooooood! Impeccable! I had the calamari with a special aeoli sauce that was delicious. The mussels with grilled bread was great with the sauce created to elevate the dish. The ultimate favorite was the crusted salmon and wild rice. It was to die for!! The salmon was perfectly cooked, the sauce the added to give it another layer and flavor did it so well! I highly recommend this restaurant and the people who helped me have a great experience!

Recently, I have been spending time in Pompano Beach. Pompano Beach is the place to go to relax on the beach, have a drink, or eat. I am one of those people who think that Pompano Beach is underrated. Soon, people will realize it and start exploring it more, moving away from Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach. I just wanted to point this out before reviewing Oceanic at the Pompano Beach Pier. The place is scenic, relaxing, and an excellent spot to grab a bite, a drink, and spend some quality time while enjoying your meal. I have, for the first time, dined with my wife at Oceanic, and it was a fantastic experience. The view is breathtaking, and the food is superb. The service was excellent, and my server went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. For an appetizer, I had the calamari, and I had the pier burger well done for lunch. The calamari is the best I've ever tasted; it was savory, tender, and well-seasoned. I would recommend Oceanic to anyone seeking good food, a fantastic time, and a truly relaxing view of the beach.

What a nice surprise, first time going to this restaurant, starting with the place, it feels very upscale, nice lighting, seatings and decorations.. Service was exceptional, our server Shane gave absolutely the best assistance throughout the night, very helpful and solicit at all times.. Food is top notch, we were in 4 and got a good variety, from the ribeye to lobster ravioli you don’t have to be afraid to try anything, the whole menu will most likely taste fantastic. Can’t wait to come back during daytime. 10/10

Shane was an amazing server I had a blackberry daiquiri and got the hawaiian ribeye which was good. Based off the website I thought it only came with a small portion of potatoes but it comes with quite a bit, so I definitely didn't need my order of fries but those were really good also.

Great place, Pompano pier was bustling with a Jazz Fest last night. Restaurant had a great vibe, our waitress Savana was awesome and the food was delicious. Try it! We split a sun-kissed shrimp appetizer that was recommended on menu, terrific! Then my friend had the Thai curry snapper and I had the Shellfish pan roast. Remarkable restaurant with a delightful setting right in the heart of Pompano Beach with a breathtaking view of the ocean! Exceptional food, great options and even better service. Our waitress was very pleasant. We started with the tangy shrimp appetizer that was simply outstanding. For my main course I had the Scallops and my wife had the Crab Cakes and we got some fries on the side. Everything was great! My wife wasn't too big on the Crab cakes and we didn't want to inconvenience the waitress but upon telling her, she was so kind and asked my wife what she would like instead so we requested the Seafood Linguini Pasta with shrimp, mussels & calamari. My wife absolutely loved that! They adjusted the bill to reflect for the changes and were very polite. Refills before you even think to ask, outdoor or indoor seating with a cozy and gorgeous dining area and food made for Kings and Queens! 5⭐'s EASILY, I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING! I was part of a bridal party that hosted a bridal shower in the Mangrove Room here last weekend. Food was tasty and service was good. I had braised short rib, salmon, mashed potatoes, and caesar salad. For apps we had the lamb chops, spring rolls, and crab cakes. My overall FAVORITE menu item had to be the lamb chops. They were cooked to perfection. Parking was tricky on a Saturday night but that’s to be expected on the beach. They do have valet.

I brought my wife here for her birthday and Cristian was our waitress. She was friendly very attentive to us. She even had a drink made for us that was not on the menu. She was excellent. When you visit ask for her you won’t regret it!

I think I have found my favorite North Lauderdale beach dining spot. This place made me feel like I was on an upscale cruise 🚢. Delicious, truly gourmet food with a breezy, relaxing, seaside vibe. This is a beautiful large restaurant right on the beach and next to Pompano Beach Pier. They handled our large party with the up most care and were absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere (especially at night) is gorgeous, the staff is very attentive, and the food was wonderful. I can’t say enough about this restaurant and wish we had one exactly like it back home. We definitely closed the place down late at night with our celebratory graduation group dinner. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for incredible oceanfront dining in South Florida, add Oceanic Pompano to your list! From the moment I arrived, I fell in love with the tropical vibes especially after starting off with their Mango Margarita. It set the perfect mood! For appetizers, the Crispy Calamari was fresh and packed with flavor. Next came the Fresh Watermelon Grilled Shrimp, a brilliant, refreshing dish you simply must try. Their New England Lobster Roll was spot on, something that’s hard to find done right in the area. To finish, the Crème Brûlée was heavenly truly the best I’ve had. But it’s not just the food that shines. Oceanic offers oceanfront dining, “Tides & Tannins” wine dinners, and live music every Sunday from 12pm-3pm, plus every second Friday of the month from 6pm-10pm on the rooftop. Talk about vibes! As a true foodie, I can’t recommend Oceanic enough. Delicious food, ocean breezes, and top-notch service this place has it all!

I had an awesome experience at oceanic. The customer service the food, the environment spot. I went with my godmother and she ate everything off her plate. She said the food was delicious and I used to live in Fort Lauderdale. I don’t anymore but when I do come back, I will be sure to visit oceanic because the customer service was awesome and the manager that greeted us at the door, I believe his name was Dimitri. Was very inviting. Will come again.

Located at the entrance to the Pompano Beach Pier with a good variety of menu items. I was expecting a tourist trap restaurant with high prices and mediocre food but I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was and the prices were reasonable for the location and quality of food. We had the Baby iceberg wedge and Bahamian conch chowder and the Thai Noodle Salad with seared tuna and Fried branzino for the main course. Everything, was fresh, delicious and tasty. The atmosphere was great and were seated at a window with a view of the beach and service was top flight. For those who prefer, there is patio seating with an accompanying bar. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Unforgettable Sunday brunch. We had kye as our server; and first let me say, the service is what made the meal. I took my wife here for our 20th anniversary and we were not disappointed. We had appetizers, drinks, and entrees and the service was consistent throughout the entirety night. I will say that is hard to find in this region. Kye was attentive to every aspect of the meal including my wife’s allergies and he made great recommendations (that we did order)!! We will definitely be coming back again, but only the nights Kye’s working. Best restaurant experience we have had in months and this is the first time we have TRULY felt grateful to our server for providing an amazing experience.

I went to Oceanic with my friend the other day , it was pretty packed but I must say that the Hostess, Kattie ,was phenomenal! She was holding things together very well and professionally despite the traffic in there . She kept a smile on her face at all times and made us feel very welcomed . Although the restaurant was pretty crowded, she made sure to find a table that we felt comfortable and cozy in . I don’t usually write reviews but I had to ask for her name and give her credits. Delicious! We are visiting from NY and decided to have dinner on our last night here. We were easily able to valet park and were seated right away. Soon after greeted by our lovely waitress Demi! She was so friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and food- also the specials. Our appetizer was the calamari it was so fresh - some of the best we’ve ever had. Everyone loved their drinks and entrees. I had the sea bass and it was the best fish I’ve ever tasted. We sat at a table with a view of the beach and boardwalk and was able to see the sunset. We will be coming back next trip!

They are kind, professional, communicative and genuinely care about your event. They were so great to work with throughout our 10 month planning process. No email was left unanswered, and they answered every one of our many questions thoroughly. They were also very accommodating with every request that we had. For the actual wedding - everything was executed perfectly! From the venue setup, the delicious food, and the friendly bartenders, our guests have not stopped complimenting their experience at Oceanic! We can't wait to visit again soon!

The open space with an ocean view is truly lovely; we chose to sit at the bar. The service was exceptionally attentive, and we were consistently checked on. Our drinks arrived promptly. We ordered mussels, and they were absolutely delicious.

View is phenomenal. Service is stellar. Food is flop. Drinks are dull. Two drinks I sent back for being devoid of flavor. Visibly watered down, without bubbles. With minimal ice. With minimal alcohol. With shocking scarcity of flavor. Zero garnishes. How would this place be rated so well with drinks of this caliber? The lobster ravioli that others rated so well arrived cold, bland, with zero chunks of lobster and a sauce without pizazz. As someone who eats lobster ravioli everywhere that offers it… I know what good lobster ravioli tastes like and this wasn’t it. $38? I should have sent it back as well as it genuinely did not deserve the cost but I did not wish to wait even longer for another dish. My friend’s dish was MUCH better than mine. I left hungry and didn’t take home my leftovers. Edit: I had a great experience here this evening thanks to Christina & her trainee Gabrielle. I am changing my rating in my appreciation for the wonderful waitress I had. Kindness matters and they have good humans working here. Tip them well.

What a great restaurant! My face lit up with a huge smile upon entering this restaurant, it made me so happy! 😁😊 I knew that it was going to be a great experience the moment I entered. The vibe, ocean view, decor and so much more was quite impressive. It’s not often that you do come across a restaurant with a great water view and delicious food, it’s usually one or the other. The Oceanic had it all going on! Everything on the menu looked delicious, it was hard to make a decision. I ended up ordering the fried calamari and the watermelon, feta, & grilled shrimp salad. The calamari was excellent as was the sundried tomatoes (I think) dipping sauce that accompanied it. The cubes of watermelon in the salad were perfectly ripened and delicious, the shrimp were grilled just the way they should be and this was all with arugula, sunflower seeds and balsamic drizzle. I chose the Blondi craft cocktail which was good but a tad too sweet for me. My aunt had the shrimp scampi and she raved about it, the fresh garlic smelt outrageous. I would love to see Oceanic step up their craft cocktail a bit. Overall I was extremely impressed and can’t wait to return! 🤩

We had a great lunch here with great tasting food (burgers and cobb salad) and a beautiful view of the ocean, but the best part of our visit for sure was our sweet waitress, Victoria. Not only was she super friendly and helpful with menu recommendations, she took extra time getting to know our family, took a picture for us, and even provided recommendations for other things to do in the area as we are visiting from Texas. Highly recommend 😊

This was first time at Oceanic but definitely not my last. The food, atmosphere and views are all off the charts. We had a fantastic server named Raegan—she was friendly and took wonderful care of our table.

2/15/25—-After a tough workout at F45 in Pompano Beach (which I’ll review later since I’m going back tomorrow), my husband decided we should have brunch. Me? Not so much in the mood for food—after all, I just spent nine nights on the MSC Explora 1 indulging in gourmet meals. I figured I’d go for something small. Honestly, I wanted a smoothie, but, well… marriage is about compromise, right? Plus, I definitely wasn’t in the mood for another Latin restaurant this time. So, I played it safe and ordered a Caesar salad with salmon, while my husband went for clam chowder and roasted Brussels sprouts. Everything was great! Our server, whose parents are from Costa Rica and the U.S. (or, as she jokingly put it, “a gringo”), was super friendly and fun. We ordered Evian—it was good. The black decaf coffee? Surprisingly great. Oh, and a heads-up: portions here are not for the faint of heart. Consider yourself warned!

We had such an amazing experience at Oceanic that we came back twice in two days! For dinner, the atmosphere, service, and food were all outstanding. Our server, Ecren, was so attentive and recommended the sea bass—it was absolutely incredible. We started with the seared tuna and ceviche appetizers, both perfectly fresh and flavorful. The watermelon margaritas were a highlight too—refreshing and unique! Portions were generous, pricing was very reasonable, and dessert was so good we took it to go (the triple chocolate mousse with gelato—wow!). We loved it so much we returned the next day for brunch. Just as fantastic! The eggs Benedict, French toast, and Brussels sprouts were all delicious, and the mimosa sampler bucket was such a fun way to try different pairings. (Wish I took more pictures!) Highly recommend for both dinner and brunch—we’ll definitely be back!

I visited for a Yelp Elite event and this was definitely one of the best YEE I've been to! Loved the atmosphere and the large outdoor space overlooking the beach. Excellent background for IG worthy selfies. This would be perfect for a moderate sized private event. I tried the Pistachio Colada - flavor was delish but a little too sweet for my tastes. Unfortunately I wasn't able to sample all the small bites, but I luckily did get a poke bowl (yummy!!) and vegan spring roll. Parked in the garage a block away and it was very reasonable, but there is valet available if you prefer.

The oceanic has extremely high-quality service, food, and atmosphere, as good as it gets! A cool bar area, oceanfront seat with a spectacular view, and gorgeous inside dining that I believe is an even better view because you get to see it all. We did things a little differently, and ordered a bacon blue cheeseburger as an appetizer! which had probably the highest quality blue cheese we have ever had and was so juicy and delicious. We both ordered the shellfish pan roast, which was a delicious bowl of fresh seafood, including a spiny lobster tail in an exquisite cream sauce. The best part was our server, Michael, who anticipated every need. The one thing I would’ve done differently and they did offer, I personally need a lot of air-conditioning for health reasons. I would’ve sat on the outside deck because that gorgeous breeze off the ocean was perfect. When I mentioned I am overly heat sensitive, (not from there, but from being outside) they immediately turned the air conditioning up. they do keep the doors wide open, so it’s not a truly enclosed air-conditioned room. This is a class A restaurant!

Came here a few weeks ago for brunch and it was so nice so we sat outside. It was great but super windy and the lettuce and napkins almost got frequent flier miles 🤣. The food was good, loved the vanilla bean in the creme over my french toast. Will update if we come back for dinner or sit indoors next time.

Both the food and drinks were great here. We decided to go for dinner one day, and liked it so much that we went back the next day. The food was excellent, and the service was good. We had great views of the ocean. I'm not going to write a long review, because I went over a month ago, but I highly recommend it, and will go again if I am ever back in the area.

EVEEYRHING was AMAZING!! Found this little gem while looking for an upscale restaurant to celebrate our 3yr wedding anniversary. I'M SO GLAD WE DID. From the food to the ambiance(we sat outside) to our AWESOME & very attentive server Amber. Being 1st time visitors, she was very patient with us. She was very knowledgeable about the menu & drinks. Amber recommended the Lychee Glimlet & IT DID NOT MISS! We will definitely be back, thanks again Amber 🫶🏿

I celebrated my birthday with a fabulous dinner on the patio. The crab cakes were terrific, fried calamari was perfect and dessert was divine. Great dining experience, minus the flies.💖

Food was very good. Prices are decent. Views are amazing. We sat on the patio. It was very loud, but it was brunch and very busy. My husband had the chicken and waffles. The hot sauce was pretty spicy but we were warned. I had fettuccine. The sauce was exceptional.

This gorgeous restaurant sits right on the beach. The views and the lighting and the vibe are phenomenal. Elisha was an absolute amazing server for our party of 10. We were rowdy and high maintenance for our friend’s retirement after 30 years. She was attentive and on point all night. The food and drinks were exquisite. We will definitely be back. Thank you all for a great night!!

We had an amazing time and experience at Oceanic Restaurant. Our waitress Savannah was THE BEST! We are on vacation from NYC and the experience was the best we’ve had in a while. Everyone was so welcoming and the atmosphere was beautiful. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Savannah was so nice and had great knowledge regarding the menu, drinks and answered any questions as well as being able to accommodate any substitutions we asked for. The manager checked on us as well. Amazing service/ hospitality and the food is so fresh and delicious from the appetizers to the entrees and dessert we loved everything.

Came here for a quick bite.. sat at the bar for "brunch" during a rainstorm and it was actually very relaxing. I didn't drink (opted for a seltzer cran & lime) but I had the crab cake which was amazing .. I squeezed a generous portion of the charred lemon over everything and it was divine. I had the chocolate trilogy as a recommendation and it was perfect. Not too light and not too heavy either... Perfect for a beach pick-me-up and under $40 left me super happy.

My father and I decided to try out someplace new. Great service, amazing views, loved the food options and overall I had a nice time. I selected the bread basket to start, the I selected the Shrimp Scampi and my father tried the Cashew Crusted Salmon. Both were very tasty, nice flavor and the portion size is good. Its not too small but not enough for left overs so be prepared to eat. I made sure I was leaving room for dessert. I love Creme Brulee. It was good but very sweet. Great for sharing! All and all I would give the vibe, our server and the food a 10 out of 10.

The food was delicious! We ordered a steak tartare and it was delicious. I haven't had one this delicious in a long time! As for the main course, it was truly divine. The service was excellent, and the recommendations were excellent.

We had an incredible time at this seafood restaurant, Oceanic! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor — everything you’d hope for in a top-tier seafood spot. What really made our night special, though, was our server, Elisha. She was absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made great recommendations, checked in on us at just the right times, and made us feel like valued guests throughout the meal. Elisha truly elevated our entire dining experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for excellent seafood and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We went for brunch and had an amazing experience. The staff were friendly abs knowledgeable. The food options were plenty and the food tastes amazing. I am still thinking about the steak and potatoes. The view was great as well. We sat outside and I felt like we had the best sit in the Resturant. I can’t wait to return!

Shane was an amazing server I had a blackberry daiquiri and got the hawaiian ribeye which was good. Based off the website I thought it only came with a small portion of potatoes but it comes with quite a bit, so I definitely didn't need my order of fries but those were really good also.

I brought my wife to the Oceanic for Valentines Day. We walked in w/o a reservation early in the afternoon and was promptly seated at a table. When our waitress Kendall, a trainee, arrived I asked if we could be moved to booth seating for a more romantic and intimate diner experience. We were graciously accommodated by management. We ordered the Valentines special and a ala cart 4 course. We started eith a wine and beer. We enjoyed the shrimp ceaser salad, and the lobster bisque. My wife had Filet with asparagus and mashed potatoes. I ordered the Ribeiro with green beans and roasted potatoes. Everything was prepared perfectly. My wife loved the bisque. The restaurant served a very pleasant day appropriate dessert which to me was surprisingly good. Three heart shaped strawberry flavored cookies with strawberry cream, strawberries, and red raspberries. I'm not a big fan of strawberry flavored desserts but this was good. My wife loved it. I am sure we will be revising the Oceanic again. Thank you for adding to this special day.

The Oceanic is a fabulous seafood restaurant and bar that I would visit anytime. Our waiter, Gabby F., suggested their freshest entrees. We ordered Salmon, Mahi Mahi and Sea Bass. Although the Salmon seemed to lack flavor, the Mahi Mahi and Sea bass were excellent. Gabby was very attentive and answered all our questions. The view outside is remarkable. Definitely plan a return visit!

Came here with my beautiful wife during our stay at the Pelican Grand. Our waiter Mike was probably the best waiter I've ever interacted with. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and had a very fun and bubbly demeanor. The food and drinks were absolutely astonishing. I had the sea bass and my wife had Red Snapper. Both were cooked to perfection and the sides complemented the dish very well.

We came here about a week ago and had a great time! Our server was Lily, and she was phenomenal! She gave great recommendations and had wonderful service. The food took a second to come out, but it was very good! To start, we had the sun-kissed shrimp (recommended by Lily), and it was delicious! We also had the heirloom tomato & burrata appetizer, and it was also tasty! My only recommendation for the dish would be adding more bread - as it only comes with one piece and makes it difficult to share. For entrées, we had the lobster roll, the shellfish pan roast, and the Hawaiian grilled ribeye. All were good dishes to try and tasty, however, not sure if we'd order again or try something new. We had the chocolate trilogy for dessert and it was okay. Nothing amazing but the pistachio gelato was very yummy. Overall, the service was amazing and 5/5 and the food was 4/5 but still delicious. We will be returning for Lily's section specifically!

Christian was our server and she was great! Very friendly and helpful. We ordered 5 different dishes and all were delicious except for the Cashew Crusted Salmon which was a pretty salty. The other dishes we ordered were Shrimp Scampi, Churrasco, Slow Cooked Braised Short Rib, and Baby Back Ribs. All of these were 10/10 for flavor!

Restaurant is beautiful. Food is well made and nicely presented. Flavors are bold but every dish we ordered was a little on the salty side especially the steamed clams. Sodium overload. A few of the clams were also on the undercooked side. The crab cake duo had lots of crab meat but overall consistency was a little mushy, not flaky chunky like I'm used to. The side arugula salad was very good. The sun kissed shrimp was delicious. The cashew crusted salmon was a huge piece tender salmon on top of mushroom ponzu rice that was amazing. The carrot ginger miso sauce was a little strong. Our server Bella A. was lovely and very sweet to bring a nice slice of key lime pie for my birthday celebration. The dessert was tangy, rich, and a gigantic slice. Much appreciated!

Yesterday, we took a day trip to Pompano Beach to explore this beach town. The sun was not out, and it was a cloudy day. We had a list of places that we wanted to see, but first, we wanted to have lunch at the Oceanic. We had made reservations a few days ago calling directly to Oceanic. We requested outdoors with ocean view. She promised a table closest to the ocean. However, when we got there, she only had a table 3 rows away from the ocean view. I told her what we were promised, but she said it'd be a 45-minute wait. So we accepted the table. Just 10 minutes after we sat down, not even a glass of water had reached our table yet, a table closest to the ocean view opened. We thought we would be seated there. Oh no, the hostess took 2 older ladies straight to it. We couldn't believe it! So, right there, I dropped 1 star from the rating. Our server was Alexis, who was very nice, professional, and attentive. She stopped by several times to check on us. We appreciated her. I ordered the Lobster Roll with a side salad. It was good but not the best I have tasted. The roll tasted like a hot dog bun that had been overheated. They did not skimp on the lobster, though. My daughter ordered Chicken n Waffles. She thought it was good. She had the Strawberry Margarita and liked it. I had an Iced Tea, which was fine. We thought the restaurant was beautifully designed and decorated. The place was filling up. It was very loud outdoors from various conversations. A family next to us were having disagreements and using the F word loudly and consistently. They quieted down after a while. It was an interesting afternoon there. The parking availability is street parking, and there is a parking garage about 2 blocks away. There is a ramp to the right side of the building to get inside the restaurant. I have a picture of it. It is 3 short levels up. I walked it.

Overall a very good experience. The service was very good. The food is very good. And the atmosphere is very good. It met expectation and I would come back. It's not the kind of place for a "wow" factor. But an enjoyable outdoor dining experience. I came off hours on a Tuesday. So I had my pick of tables. The music was audible but not "thumping" and it didn't interfere with conversation.

Oceanic is rapidly becoming our first choice for brunch, on weekends! The view from the outdoor patio is great! The service is attentive (especially Amber!). The outdoor vibes are positive (even if the live music is a bit loud at times). The food varies from solid to top-notch brunch fare, with many tasty options to choose from the regular menu in addition to the brunch menu. And, the fresh bread basket is always a favorite! We can definitely recommend Oceanic for good food, great outdoor dining, and a lively Island atmosphere!

Edit My last visit was quite disappointing so much so I would have given this 2-3 stars if this was my first visit I kept tasting what felt like bad coconut oil in both my chips and fish Jan 2025 Great location by the water, suitable for large parties like company dinners or events.valet available up front, catch of the day was sword fish. my one complaint was it was too sweet. but everything was delicious . as the name implies expect mostly seafood here . good ceviche

It was OK! Everything was OK nothing was great! The service was fine but not great! The food was OK, but definitely not good enough for me to go back! The only thing special was the view of the Atlantic Ocean!

The food at Oceanic was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We truly enjoyed our meal and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. However, our experience was overshadowed by an inappropriate comment from our server at the end. She came to our table to complain that we hadn’t left an 18% tip, even though we were there for less than two hours and left a $45 tip for a group of six people. We felt that was more than fair and generous. Being confronted about tipping in this way was uncomfortable and unprofessional, and it left a negative impression after what had been a great dining experience. Great food, but customer service should never include pressuring guests about gratuity.

Open and spacious dining area with a good vibe and a panoramic view of Pompano Beach and its pier. The food is not as good as its premium price. We are a table of 14. We ordered several steak coures with medium rare. All the steaks were overcooked and tasted tough. It's definitely not a $50 steak. The mushrooms come with plenty of salt.

the salmon was overcooked, the burgers were well done when we asked them to come medium, and while our server/bartender was great, the food took about 30 mins to come out. the location is nice on the water.

Myself and date were so disappointed in the service, obvious rushed preparation, food quality and even the drinks were lacking. I was so excited to enjoy an evening at Oceanic after my move back to Broward, this time Pompano Beach. The view is amazing, but that's the only positive comment I can make. I understand Lucky Fish and Oceanic are under the same management group, never an issue with with Lucky Fish in any way. Of course understanding the dinning and experience difference. Don't think I'll give Oceanic another chance as I'm seeing many recent poor reviews on other platforms. Too many options around this area to step back into this location.

The management would not close the wind shades on a breezy cool evening. It made it difficult to enjoy eating dinner at the bar as my food was cold. In all honesty most guests were unhappy with the North East winds blowing and whipping through out the outside patio and bar. It just was NOT pleasant.

where is the good food in broward county???? look, we came on a busy night on a busy weekend, it could have been an off night, but we unfortunately did not have a great experience. food took forever to get to us — steaks were dry and overcooked and fish dishes were too fishy if you know what i mean. our server was extremely friendly and understanding, and management was receptive to our feedback. i hate hate leaving bad reviews but was hoping for better. invest in your back of house like you have in your front of house and you will bring in way better business. all love i hope this place makes some real changes to serve guests better ❤️

My family and I walked into oceanic as we had just spent the day at the beach and my wife was starving for seafood. Our kids had showered and changed into clean clothes but when we came in around 3:45 pm for an early dinner and asked the hostess if she had any tables outside she rolled her eyes and mentioned something to her coworker. Then looked at us and said yes but you’ll be close to the music. We said that is fine as our kids and us enjoy the music and we’re happy to sit outside.They sat us right next to it which was great but after 20 plus minutes of waiting for a server and trying to flag one down we could tell we weren’t welcome. I have to say for a restaurant that had so many open tables I would think they would be more eager to get business in the door especially when my wife and I were ready to pay $200 or more on a family dinner with young kids. Also we were seated and served at Baresco across the street right away and could not have been happier with the food and service.

We were a party of 4 and 3 of us ordered fillets, 1 ordered a ribeye. All 4 steaks were tough and cold. The fillets were ordered medium and came well done, and did I say COLD ? Same for the ribeye. Nice atmosphere, but beware.

We were not fed. The service was not informative, helpful or accountable. The atmosphere did not matter since we did not have the dinner we reserved. I had a reservation last Saturday for 2 for 730 pm to celebrate our Anniversary & Valentine’s Day on 2/14/26. At 830 pm we were not seated & left. When we arrived, 1st floor reception couldn’t find my reservation & sent us to 2nd floor reception. They also couldn’t find it. I showed her the texts noted below. We were apparently in line with walk ins despite the confirmed reservation. I asked the 2nd floor hostess & a manager for an update during the hour. The responses were disappointing & infuriating I set the reservation on 2/2/26. It was confirmed again on Friday 2/13/26 at 617 pm. I was reminded at 7pm - 30 minutes prior to the 730 reservation. What was the point. My wife & I left starving & substituted a fine meal with McDonald’s at 930 pm on Valentines Day!

Thanks for ruining Valentines Day... Made a reservation in a WEEK ADVANCE that costed over $200.00 to even make the reservation to only show to a complete disaster. Total scam and rip off money grab here. definitely way more reservations than actual tables so they just make everyone go sit at the bar to spend even more money. after waiting over an hour drinking with NO food we start to talk to people around us so we all were talking about this complete chaos happening up there. Naturally we asked how much longer and were told tables are available but getting cleaned but they started giving tables to people who came after us and that had a later reservation than us. Remember, we did have an hour to figure that info out. To make this worse, we told the manager this was happening and they still gave the tables. So we left and my husband was super upset and wanted a refund for the $200+ spent on this. Then the bar tender up there (wish i got her name but had glasses with long brown hair) wanted to get involved and instead of de escalating the situation she started antagonizing me at the hostess stand and even downstairs when we were trying to leave like she was stalking us. I mean who abandons their station to do that. completely unprofessional and immature. The level of service and organization of this restaurant is in NO WAY SHAPE TO CHARGE THAT LEVEL OF PRICE. Want 5 star pricing, provide 5 star level of service and organization by starting with understating how a clock works...
