Casa Calabria offers consistently delicious authentic Italian food preparations drawn from family recipes. They cook all the traditional dishes, but always have a few great specials to choose from as well. The staff is beyond attentive and truly knowledgeable. You can feel that they genuinely and pridefully want you to enjoy their restaurant. Last night we took a guest for dinner and James went ABOVE and BEYOND making her feel special and insuring that her experience was top notch. Thanks to James, his service was a reminder that we will need to go there more often.

James was an exceptional waiter. We struggled to choose from all the delicious options and he helped guide us to some excellent dishes. We had a great meal!

First time eating here. Recommended by a friend. Great experience and delicious food. Everyone from hostess to coffee barista gave us great service. Our waiter Mauro was excellent. He greeted us in Italian and there was an opportunity to speak and order in Italian if you chose.Meatball appetizer was just like Nonna used to make. Brought back great childhood memories a genuine “Ratatouille” moment! Caesar salad was a good size with generous parmigiana cheese. Homemade pasta dishes were fantastic and very large portions. Highly recommend!

Wow! This restaurant is a hidden gem. This isn't our first time here, but I didn't post a review last time. I have to say the food is amazing, and just like last time was on point. The atmosphere is quaint and full of family portraits and Italian scenery. The staff and servers attentive and friendly. Don't miss an opportunity to eat at this delicious restaurant and I am sure you won't be disappointed. We have ordered all kinds of food here and nothing is a bad choice.

We had such a lovely night on the patio, perfect weather and ambiance. Music isn't too loud, allows you to have a conversation along with mood lighting! The food was just like it comes in Italy, fresh hot and homemade! Every thing was made to perfection. We had the calamari, grilled octopus, and eggplant for apps, and the veal and lobster ravioli for dinner. Our server even separated some of our dishes we were splitting becaus eone of our parties had a cream allergy! It was above and beyond! Dessert and shots! What a wonderful evening! Mauro was the best server! Would recommend highly!

Every aspect from the interior design, menu selections and hospitality was just...amazing! The food was just wow! The riccota paired with meatballs in the appetizer menu was unbelievably fresh. The generous portion of meatballs were perfectly prepared and packed with flavor and covered in a delicious tomato sauce. The veal parm was out of this world good (and I'm not a veal fan). The wine selection took us to Italy where regional favorites, not usually seen in the US, paired superbly with our dinner. Many thanks to our waiter, Mauro for his hospitality. The entire staff was welcoming. Posting pics of all we tried but please save room for dessert! You won't be disappointed! Many compliments to the chef, you bring real Italian food to the table with love and passion that translates in every bite. Bravo!

This place has great food and service. The appetizers and Dinner were delicious. Our waiter Raymond, was so amazing. He treated us and our grandson with such care. Loved the entrance of the hotel to the restaurant. Beautifully decorated and filled with pictures of Italy. Definitely will visit again.

First & foremost, I wish we took more pictures. But I have to say in complete honesty, Mauro made this the experience of a lifetime. My wife & I are both service industry and appreciate the careful care & service taken by a fantastic server, and we were blown away with his knowledge & personality. The gnocchi is the best I tasted in all of South Florida, melted in my mouth. Forget the fork, use a spoon to scoop up creamy sauce. Everything so good! 5-7pm happy hour at the bar and LIVE music Tuesday to Sunday! Felt like i stepped into Italy! Bravo! 👏👏👏

This was the best dining experience we had during our visit to Florida two weeks ago! Our server, James, was truly one of the best we’ve ever encountered even compared to restaurants back home in Boston. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. He clearly takes great pride in his work, and his respectful and friendly manner made our conversations with him an absolute pleasure. He’s simply outstanding at what he does. The food was exceptional as well. We all ordered pasta, and it tasted as if it came straight from Italy authentic, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Overall, it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The staff was very accommodating! We were initially offered a table by a large party, but after we asked for something quieter they sat us at a table of our choosing. Raymond, our waiter, was outstanding! He suggested great options from the large menu based on our tastes. All his recs were great. Food was very enjoyable and the service was great!

I absolutely loved it. The food was the best ever and very quick to come out. We had Raymond as our server and he was the best. He recommend a very good wine to me and my fiancée. Overall if you get Raymond as your server you are about to have the best experience there, would definitely go again!!!

The vibe of the restaurant and all of the food was perfect. Raymond and the staff were outstanding and gave some of the best service I have ever had. The singer in the bar was a great touch. When back in Fort Lauderdale I will eat here again which is big because I rarely eat indoors when in Florida.

First time visiting from New Jersey. The homemade mozzarella is amazing. Fried calamari was excellent as well. We had lobster raviolis, gnocchi and rigatoni with pork. Gnocchi is delicious & homemade. The portions are a good size and if you get lucky you will get Raymond as your server. He was more than happy to help with recommendations and he made sure we had a great dining experience. We will definitely go back and ask for Raymond. He is the BEST!

A Must-Visit Italian Gem in Fort Lauderdale! Every time my family and I land in Fort Lauderdale, there’s one place we rush to without hesitation: Casa Calabria. It has truly become our go-to spot, and for good reason. The atmosphere is unbeatable—warm, lively, and filled with the sounds of great live music that sets the perfect tone for an authentic Italian dining experience. But what really elevates Casa Calabria above the rest is the exceptional staff, especially our favorite server, Dominic. We always ask for him, and if you go, you definitely should too. Dominic is one of the most outstanding servers we’ve ever had anywhere. He is consistently attentive, friendly, and incredibly on top of everything. You never have to wait for a thing—he checks on his tables often, makes sure everyone is comfortable, and brings such an amazing personality to the dining experience. His energy and genuine kindness make every visit memorable. It’s a rare thing to find a server who enhances your meal as much as the food itself, and Dominic does exactly that. The food was delicious. Totally pleased by the delicate the gnocchi and perfectly light fried calamari. The orecchiette was also balanced and delicious. But the best part of the night was Mauro, our waiter. He turned a painful plane layover into a lovely night. Thank you!

We had an amazing experience for dinner. Raymond our waiter was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was amazing and we will absolutely be back. The chicken parm, eggplant parm and veal parm were delicious and the portions were amazing! Plenty for leftovers! They found out we were celebrating a birthday dinner and they sent over a complimentary tiramisu which was perfection! Can’t wait to come back

Enjoyed dinner with friends for their anniversary. Our server was fantastic. His food recommendations were spot on. Pasta is fresh and salad was great. Lobster ravioli was nice, fish was fresh and dessert was amazing. Piano music in the bar after dinner was the highlight.

Casa Calabria I recommend parking on the street in order to avoid valet parking, it may take some patience, however, I found a close spot The beachfront tables are lovely; however, the umbrellas are taken down when it gets windy. Our server said she’d take it off the table since we had trouble seeing all of us across the table; and she never did, so the four of us had to scoot close together to see each other during the conversations. The service is honestly sub par; I understand it isn’t easy working outside in the heat, however, any time we asked for anything beyond a basic cocktail, it took a minimum of 20 minutes or more. There were times she’d bring a requested item swiftly to the table and then quickly depart without checking to see if anything needed to be cleared or if we needed anything else. I will return here simply for the views, however, I will keep in mind that if I am in a rush, or if I want to have something delivered to the table quickly, I will adjust my expectations based on this experience.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and is inside a busy hotel. The valet parking is badly understaffed. There is a bar inside the restaurant that is ridiculously loud, and the noise spills over into the restaurant. There is live entertainment in a room connected to the restaurant with very loud noise that spills into the restaurant. Sitting inside the restaurant you can not hear yourself talk. It is obscene. The food prices were the same. We will not be back.

Absolutely terrible. I have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant before. As soon as we walked in we got looks of disgust. We waited for 10 minutes to be sat and were not greeted once. Each server walked right passed us and turned their head to avoid helping us. Some looked us dead in the eye ignored us calling for them. My girlfriend was so uncomfortable we had to walk out.
