When a place is actually so good you don’t want it to blow up so that it doesn’t get over booked. AMAZING. Don’t walk run, get your friends get your family Everything was SO good, fresh house made dumplings take a minute so get in good conversation and prepare to have your tastebuds in for a treat! Start with the soup dumplings xiaolongbao don’t burn yourself but you want to eat that broth warm. The pan fried dumplings are so crisp and that pan sear is so yummy The spicy wontons in chili sauce was an explosion of flavor. Come extremely hungry or bring some friends so you can try a few dishes!

Dumpling Panda just opened, and it already has a special place in my heart! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. The service was top-notch10/10 friendly, fast, and attentive. Now, the food - Absolutely incredible! Every bite was packed with rich, authentic flavors, and the dumplings were perfectly made—soft, juicy, and bursting with goodness. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for such high-quality food. Whether you’re a dumpling lover or just looking for a new go-to spot, this place is a must-visit. I can already tell it’s going to be a local favorite. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!

This establishment is truly exceptional, offering a delightful culinary experience that showcases homemade dumplings prepared right in front of you. The atmosphere is inviting and vibrant, conveniently located just a stone's throw from the harbor, making it an ideal spot for both locals and visitors alike. When you find yourself in this area, you absolutely must sample the dishes here. The food is not only delicious but crafted with care, and the service is attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem; it’s a dining adventure you won’t want to miss!

I had been searching for a great dumpling place locally for some time now. My best experiences have been in the Pacific Northwest. Dumpling Panda has delivered! Simple yet cute atmosphere. The staff was super attentive and kind. The food was truly delicious. My friends and I ordered the beef and broccoli, chicken fried rice, scallion pancakes, bbq ribs, pork dumplings and the chicken soup dumplings (which were my favorite!) if you’re looking for some comfort food at a reasonable price this is your spot.

no hot and sour soup but boo was was hot and sour enough.. loved watching him figure out how to eat those soup dumplings though.. seriously, do we use the spoon or no? ty and p.s. contrary to one of the other reviews, the panda and bamboo basket decor goes hard 🙂‍↕️ xox

We recently ordered the fried pork chop, pork rice, and chili wontons from this restaurant, and overall it was a satisfying experience. The fried pork chop was the highlight – crispy on the outside yet tender inside, seasoned well without being too salty. The pork rice was comforting and flavorful, with a good balance of savory meat and well-cooked rice. The portion size was generous and filling. This is my son’s favorite 🤩 The chili wontons stood out with their spicy kick. The wontons themselves were soft and juicy, while the chili oil added depth and heat without overpowering the flavor. Service was quick, and the food arrived warm and fresh. While the presentation was fairly simple, the taste and quality made up for it. Lastly, our server Angelina is very friendly and thoughtful. My son loves her🥰 Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re craving hearty, flavorful pork dishes and a little bit of spice

A great new addition to the neighborhood. Service was great. John and the staff were very attentive and answered questions. The food was delicious and the prices reasonable. They do not offer liquor but you can bring your own wine for a corkage fee. We ordered the pork dumplings, Dan Dan Noodles, and the Taiwanese Braised Beef Noodle soup and all were tasty. Look forward to trying more menu items. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Authentic Chinese food! Finally went there after seeing great reviews online. The menu was very well designed including some of the most popular regional dishes from China. Woah dude! This place is epic. The pan fried dumplings (chicken) are delicious. The cucumber salad had a great homemade chili oil. The star of the show besides the dumplings were the classic Chinese dishes. The general tso and the kung pao were insane!! All white meat and everything from scratch. This is great food and I highly reccomend.

I highly recommend. It’s a 10/10. Everything was on point from the moment we walked in the door. The server Nana was great. This is our second night eating at Dumpling Panda. We went to Miramar and Fort Lauderdale location. I prefer the FTL location because it is bigger and has a better atmosphere.

My boyfriend and I just left with our takeout order, we were given two boba drinks on the house for waiting longer due to a missed item. I just want to say that we come from a customer service industry and the customer service was wonderful. Very kind and considerate atmosphere. The place was clean and was very interesting being able to watch them roll and make the dumplings by hand. Also the food was amazing! Highly recommend 🥰❤️

My son and I really had an exquisite experience that words can not express the euphoria we felt eating all the food. We had pan fried shanghai Dumplings, spare ribs, spicy cucumbers salad and (2) Kung pao chicken with a litchi and passion boba teas of course. All that for under $100. I tell you this place needs some justice. Its a nice place to come and enjoy good homemade Asian food. Thank to the whole staff for making it feel like home.

Ordered take out from here 2 weeks in a row and it has to be the best dumplings in the area! Food here is reminiscent of take out places in NYC and LA Chinatown. Honestly have been waiting for a place like this to open up! The dumplings are juicy and plump; the wrap isn’t thick at all like many other dumpling places in this county. You can’t tell they’re house made! You can’t for wrong with any orders. We especially love the Dan Dan noodles to accompany the dumplings!

Don't let the smaller size of this place detour a visit here. The food is fresh and delicious. We split a General Tso's chicken with fried rice and each had a spring roll. The flavors were fantastic! We ate a bit late, so we didn't try any dumplings, but I saw some that went out and they looked great. Next time.

We happened upon this adorable dumpling shop while on vacation, it was their first day being open, and I wish them all the best because this place was fantastic! We were looking for a convenient but delicious place to eat before flying out of FLL. The Pork and Crab Xiao Long Baos were amazing! We ordered another! First time in Fort Lauderdale - Found this little gem while waiting for our hotel room. We are from San Diego CA, which is considered as the mecca of Asian cuisine in the US. We are very picky when it comes to Asian food. The food was very good and the homemade chili oil was the best we've tasted. Service was phenomenal and friendly. Will definitely come and eat here again when we return for another cruise!

Been here a few times to dine in, ordered for pickup, and delivery thru uber eats. Each time the food has been delicious. They never miss the mark for me! The egg fried rice is my favorite in the area. The honey garlic wings are also amazing. I always order the handmade dumplings, pan fried, so yummy.

Service is exceptional. Presentation of food excellent. Food delicious, prepared very well. We have a dumpling restaurant that we normally go to, Panda dumpling rocks over our goto. Oh. My. Gosh. The food is DELISH! The vibe is immaculate! Every song that played over the speakers was an absolute banger. Shaggy to Johnny Cash to Boys Like Girls. I never wanted to leave! Plus they were very accommodating to my shellfish allergy. 10/10 would love to just live here.

Stumbled upon this on their first day of opening. They didn’t even have their sign up yet. It’s so hard to get Chinese and Taiwanese food in South Florida without going west, let alone one that’s authentic. We ordered soup dumplings, beef noodle soup, fried rice, and pan fried dumplings. Definitely brought back memories.

Dumpling Panda has really good dumplings. Everything tasted fresh and came out hot. I ordered the soup dumplings and pan-fried pork dumplings and both were tasty and well seasoned. Service was quick and the staff was nice. Portions are good for the price. Easy spot for a casual lunch or dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Dumpling Panda delivers fresh, flavorful Chinese comfort food with surprising consistency. The Vegetable Lo Mein is perfectly seasoned with a great noodle texture—light, not greasy. The Mongolian Beef stands out: tender slices, a rich savory-sweet sauce, and plenty of onions cooked just right. The Vegetable Egg Fried Rice is simple but well executed, with clean flavors that pair nicely with everything else. The Shrimp & Pork Dumplings are the star—juicy, well-balanced filling and a wrapper that holds together without being chewy. The Wonton Soup has a comforting, home-style broth with soft, flavorful wontons, and the Spare Ribs are tender with a satisfying char. Overall, Dumpling Panda offers generous portions, fresh ingredients, and dependable quality. A great spot for a satisfying meal with something for everyone.

The pork soup dim sum and the scallions pancakes were excellent, but the Mongolian beef and the Kung Pao beef tasted exactly the same and lacked flavour and spice. So a mixed bag. Very nice service. Busy small space.

I wanted something small to tide me over so I got the vegetarian dumplings and a soda. The dumplings were good. Such a small thing but the foundation soda was horrible - low syrup and flat. That was disappointing since nowadays sodas are $4.

Gen Zs will love this place. If you google Gen Z eatery, this is what you’ll find. All staff is very young, manager spent 100% of his time on his phone. Service is decent, food is above average for the type of establishment. Think PeiWei but nicer. They claim to have the beat Xia Lon Bao in SoFlo but though good, I can’t agree. Regardless, everything we had was very good. Would go again. Try the donuts! Worst thing, music was so loud we couldn’t talk to each other.

M

Soup dumplings were good. Also had the pan fried dumplings which were good but on the pricier side. The noodles with brown sauce in my opinion was a bit too much on the salty side. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup while tasting good, had too few noodles to justify the price.

Amazing food and very authentic. It deserves 5 stars, but I can only give 4 now. I m very disappoint that there are number of dishes aren't available, so I had to order something that wasn't on my top list. Anyway, I will return and hope they will have the dishes I want next time.

Menu looks and reads great! Super excited to try out some soup dumplings and noodles. Experience was mid tier. Soup dumplings sat under heat lamp for a long time. DanDan was drenched in a soup of sweat penaut sauce. Spicy wontons fell apart with most wonton wrappers sticking togsther in clumps. Employees/kids were more interested in the phones. Not horrible food but not a place I'd recommend to anyone.

Updated Review 09/04/25 (Changed rating to 3): I went tonight and had the Broccoli Beef. I realize I was the only person in the restaurant, but the quality of the dinner was that of something that was reheated, not fresh as expected. The food was lukewarm and not flavorful as expected. I advise to stick with food on their paper menu and not the larger meals. Poor experience and it was more costly for the food. Dumpling Panda is a good, clean, and reasonably priced restaurant. Food was quite good and i will definitely be returning. I had the pork dumplings and the braised beef noodles and my wife had the noodles and pork.

The food itself was actually good, but honestly, I’d strongly suggest ordering it to go if you don’t want your experience ruined by the service—because it was some of the worst I’ve ever seen. The restaurant was almost empty, with only two servers working, so it was clearly a slow night. You’d think that would mean extra attention to cleanliness and service… but nope. When we arrived, multiple tables were dirty, napkins and silverware hadn’t been refilled, and no one seemed to be paying attention. That was our first red flag, but we really wanted to try the food, so we seated ourselves at what looked like the cleanest table available. From there, it only went downhill. The waiter took forever to come take our order, and once they finally did, they never came back. After a long wait, I noticed another server asking the kitchen about an order—clearly confused—only to realize they didn’t even know which table it belonged to. Then came the most shocking part: the food was brought to the wrong customer. The guy immediately said it wasn’t his order, and after a few minutes of back-and-forth, the server took the plate back to the kitchen… and then delivered it to another table outside once they realized where it was actually supposed to go. The same exact thing happened with one of my dumpling orders. To make matters worse, new customers walked in and weren’t greeted at all. They were just standing there, awkwardly waiting, while the staff seemed completely disorganized and overwhelmed—for no clear reason. Overall, it was a mess from start to finish. Good food, yes—but the service was chaotic, careless, and frustrating enough that I wouldn’t recommend dining in at all. Takeout is your safest bet.

Cute, but a bit over the top with the panda and steam basket decor. We ordered the pork soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings and fried pork noodles. Soup dumplings were a bit small in size but flavorful. A little too well done as 2 broke, spilling the soup. A few missteps though, they have rice vinegar on the tables, and didn’t provide fresh julienne ginger. They only gave us the proper black vinegar but oddly pickled sushi ginger when asked. The dumplings were pan fried but wet from too much water added when frying, kinda gross! Flavorful with a thin skin and a good portion of meat filling. Zha Jiang Mian was overly salty and noodles were overcooked and stuck together. The pork belly was old and dried out. As a franchise it is not authentic and nothing is prepared fresh on premises. Everything tastes frozen and simply heated. Loaded w lots of MSG, my mouth was so dry and I had a headache soon after. I could go to the Asian market n make this at home, served properly. It’s a fail imo but to those who don’t know better, it’s tasty.

Do not be fooled this isn't Chinese food. Everything has a fishy taste to it, the wonton soup is more like meatball soup (every wonton fell apart before I could eat it) and has cilantro in it. Mongolian beef is like soggy and absolutely loaded with onion. Dumplings are edible I guess but the sauce tastes like the kind that comes frozen in the ones from Aldi. Definitely would not recommend if you're looking for traditional Chinese food, you know the kind that has a kid doing homework in the corner and you're hungry again in 20 min.

Went to the one in Miramar and it was a lot better. Food is good but there was a beard hair in our food and the server didn’t take our meal off the bill? She was young but come on. So gross. Workers need to wear protective covering!!!!

Just landed in Florida from Toronto Canada for a cruise (boarding tomorrow). Stopped by this place for dinner with my asian parents. The food was mediocre. I feel misled by the high overall rating.

Long Bao both chicken and pork were dry no soup in them and the chicken ones were not even hot. The General Tsao’s chicken was really good but needed more sauce.

It was my first time. I drove 15 minutes to order the food. 1. Fried riced was extremely oily. 2. Low main chicken didn’t have any taste.3. Dumpling was good 4. Egg roll was good also. 5. Pork rice was sweet and we didn’t like it. I was waiting for 49 minutes until get my food. Never go back there again.

1). Soup dumplings were not great very dry. Maybe you have to eat them there. 2). Steamed pork dumplings were awful, very rubbery. 3). Pan fried pork dumplings much better. 4). Hot oil wasn’t even hot, just oily. Lastly, as I walked in at 9:53pm, the young Asian lady said “I am sorry but we are closed” my reply was I have a pickup order. Assumptions for a first time customer makes me leery, but I progressed and stated my name. I told her to have a great night. Waste of $40.

Ordered UberEats from a ramen spot under a different name but it came from this restaurant. It was the absolute worst tonkotsu ramen I've ever had. The broth didnt even have salt or a hint of pork flavor. The pork was burnt to a crisp as well. Will not be ordering from here again.

If you're looking for a dumpling place, this is not it. We ordered the chicken soup dumplings, because it's gotta be good, right? I mean, it's in the name of your restaurant, your supposed claim to fame. How is it that these were the driest "soup" dumplings I've ever had in my life? The Sahara desert had more moisture than these things. The braised pork rice was OK. Not the best I've had, but it did the job since I was starving. Now comes the chicken lo mein...should be good right? There's no way it could be bad right? I mean, it's such a simple staple dish. Tell me why I couldn't tell what flavor I was supposed to be tasting. Bland doesn't even begin to describe it, in fact, I'm insulting the word bland by even using it as a description. Apologies to you, bland. On the plus side, our server was very pleasant and discounted our meal and was apologetic for our experience and asked us to come back and try something else. With all due respect, if your establishment can't even get dumplings right, WHICH IS IN THE NAME OF YOUR RESTAURANT, I have to be demented to come back. I'm sorry ma'am, but there's no way I'm coming back. You've been cautioned. If you still decide to give this place a try, ask yourself, "Why?"

The food here is absolutely amazing. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had quality and taste wise. However. The staff…. HORRIBLE! My wife’s food was not even prepared or delivered to the table but still left on the check. It was removed after request. My drink was taken to provide a refill and never returned. I finished my food siping on my wife’s drink while she munched on my food due to never receiving hers. If you want to take advantage of this spot. Get it to go. DO NOT SIT DOWN TO EAT HERE.

Wouldn’t recommend this place, the food didn’t taste authentic, it took about 30 minutes just to get the first plates and even after an hour they were still missing items from our order. Very loud music.

Order for take out gone wrong. Order was simple shrimp fried rice. The restaurant was almost empty and seemed pretty dirty when picked up. Person stapled bag shut and when I checked the order on the way home was charged for the shrimp and received plain fried rice. The plain rice was pretty tasteless too. Just NO!

Ordered food that was delivered within 10 minutes. However it was disgusting. The Kung Pao looked nothing like the photos (attached) and the shrimp with broccoli smelled fishy / spoiled and tasted even worse. Unclear why this place is rated so high.

This place was quite disappointing. I am not sure if the good reviews are mostly based on takeout, but the dine-in experience was not good at all. There also isn't much ventilation, so you will end up smelling like food. We were seated quickly, and the dining area itself was not very busy, but service was still fairly slow. There is also not much seating inside, which makes the space feel cramped and not ideal for dining in. The restaurant seemed more focused on takeout orders, and our table felt largely ignored. We ordered chicken lo mein, Mongolian beef, honey garlic chicken wings, beef pan-fried dumplings, and vegetable fried rice, and overall, everything was just mediocre. The dishes came out sporadically over 30+ minutes, so by the time one plate arrived, we had already finished the previous one. The chicken lo mein was burnt and oddly topped with cilantro, which did not work with the dish. The Mongolian beef was okay, but nothing special, and definitely not the best version of the dish that I have had. The chicken wings had an off taste and seemed undercooked. The vegetable fried rice was very salty and extremely oily. The beef pan-fried dumplings took the longest to arrive and were the worst dish of the night; the filling was thin, shredded beef with a strange bulgogi-like flavor that did not suit the dumpling at all — definitely would not recommend ordering them. There were three servers on the floor, but only one appeared to be consistently working. The other two checked on us occasionally but were not very attentive, even when we were actively trying to get their attention. At this point, you might as well spend your money at a real local Chinese restaurant or, honestly, even go to Panda Express instead.
