I was there tonight at about 8pm for dinner. There was a young guy and an older lady serving. The lady was pretty unfriendly the guys was very friendly. In order to have a successful restaurant or business for that matter, good food, friendly staff and clean restaurants is key. The food was great. The restaurant was nice and clean but the waitress not so friendly at all. Dec, 16th 2022 after 3 years I went back today. Service was great. Server was great and food was AMAZING AS USUAL OR as I remembered from before. Today was my 1st time to this particular place since covid. 5 STARS FROM ME DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING A MILOJA

I must admit, we arrived at this restaurant hungry. We ordered an appetizer called palta rellena which was was an avocado split in half and filled with a shrimp salad. It was delicious however while we waited for it they brought out two hot rolls along with butter and a tasty tomato salsa. For our main course I enjoyed the parrilla and my wife had the breaded chicken. Excellent. Our server would not let us leave without trying dessert. We ordered the bread pudding. It was fantastic.

Good Prices, The soup I ordered as an entree it is loaded. Huge piece of red meat good flavor to the broth didn't have space to eat the small salad that comes with it . Ordered the choritos/ mussels as the appetizer they were ok , The portion was huge more than a dozen in the shell shaped bowl .This Restaurant is BIG inside with 2 bars . Worth your visit. The Menu is online which made it very easy for me to order once I got there. The waitress was friendly - Feliz Navidad!!

We came back to visit this restaurant after a few years . We have moved from the County and we were very impressed with festive and warm look and the much bigger size. We ordered a couple of Pisco Sours and an order of delicious Empanadas Fritas (cheese), we also ordered some Empanadas de Horno (beef) to bring to the Hotel, they were excellent.

Cute place. I had a vegetarian salad. We ordered the ensalada pollo. (I took the grilled chicken home for my cat, he liked it very much, it was fresh, cooked perfectly, not dry). I prefer vegan or plant based. Next time I order I will ask for avocado slices. I mixed salsa into the ranch. The salad has mixed nuts. The tomatoes were fresh possibly beefsteak variety. It came with green beans and shredded carrot. I would definitely order it again, perhaps with italian dressing or I can bring my own non-dairy. Our server was a nice lady from Chile. The latin music radio wasn't too loud, salsa. We went during dinner time, not when it turns into a club. Restroom was clean and cinnamon. I would like more vegan options because I work closeby. (Rice, beans, corn, hominy, salad, veggies plate). I believe they are closed Mondays. Free gated parking. There is a bar and dancefloor in another room.

The food and service was excellent. I had been meaning to come here for awhile now. I am not from chile but I did live in Santiago, Chile for 6 years so it did definitely take me back. Only wish they had more options. I was craving maybe some "machas a la parmesana" or un "pastel de jaiba". But overall, what we had was great. Thank you!

There were 8 of us. We had made reservations. We got a variety of food off tha menu. Everything was delicious. Service was good and attentive without being intrusive. We had time to eat and leisurely talk with each other after eating. In short, we didn't feel rushed. The only thing that was noticed was that when one person asked for additional rolls he was told he had to get 3 and was charged $2.50. Because of traffic that day two people came late. They only got 2 rolls.

I just popped in here looking for a simple breakfast, but instead I was treated to an awesome, delicious empanada feast! (They even scrambled me some eggs; not on the menu) The place is very clean and has a nice bar. I ordered coffee, and it came in a fancy cup and saucer, very classy. I wad also served homemade, crusty bread with real butter. I wish my wife and kids were there with me to share it!

Food was decent, my first time trying Chilean food. The portions were pretty good considering it wasn't really too expensive. The service was okay not as fast as you'd like but there was a big wedding celebration happening while the place was still open to the public. The atmosphere was fun as it was a karaoke night. Highlight of the night was 7 people having dinner, 2 buckets of Corona, and a few drinks for under $200

A

Parking lot unsafe. We love this place, and brought our friends from Miami. The empanadas are delicious and the latin dance music on Saturdays is the best. Unfortunately one of our friends had their car window broken and items stolen from the car, as well as damage to their brand new car in the parking lot, all while we were busy having fun, eating and dancing inside. Owner needs to improve security outside for customers as well as for their own staff by investing in cameras, warning signs, and maybe even hire a security guard for the parking lot at night!! Took off one star because the inside of the restaurant is so amazing but the safety of your car outside is another story. As much as we love it, don't know if we will be back because how can we enjoy ourselves in the future if we are going to be worried about our cars right outside in the parking lot?

J
Jose Briceno

Well, this chilean restaurant need to be a little more traditional , for example, the bread, the pebre, and the chacarero need to be improved, look like screaming for the pan amasado, this will be so much better., the setup of the tables a little odd, one near the bathroom, (bad area), service was good, food also good, pastel de choclo, empanadas, pescado frito, please do not used swan fish filet, no flavor, completos a delicious treat, and don't forget to order you Pisco sour, in resume i will coming back, to get my pisco sour.

P
Paulina Pinto

The staff was unable to advise on what was good on the menu. They need to add a traditional dish called Humitas and their locos mayo was too small, to hard, and too expensive

V
Victoria Devillier

Ive been wanting to eat here since they opened and reviewed the menu many times. A week ago i had dental surgery and remembered there was a soup on the menu. Perfect. So i decided i would go for an early dinner. The soup was very good and wanted to end it eith a coffee and a piece of cake. However my waitress walked past me 16 times and even though i moved the remains of my meal to the other side of the table she never stopped and asked me how i was going or if i want more tea or anything else. So conclusion I wasnt wanted there and ended up getting s different waitress to get the bill. I make a point of never going where I'm not wanted so wont be going back. Its a shame i was looking for s neighborhood place to eat a few times a week. I read a few reviews that some of the waitstaff werent friendly but that was months ago and the response was it was addressed. Guess not. I dont cook any more I'm retired and eat out at least once a day. Based on just the soup i was going to be back. Not now not ever. It doesnt feel good to be treated like that.

I returned to buy "empanadas de carne" after a while, because last time were very dry and no flavor. This time were better, but for my surprise, the size of the empanadas were a half of what used to be. Real "mini empanadas", expensive for the size.

The churrascos are really food as well as the torta de milhojas. The only thing I would say is that the rest of the menu is overpriced.

M
Melissa Bellorin Croce

It was my first time trying Chilean food, and although it wasn’t my favorite, I can tell you that my local Chilean friend said that it didn’t taste as authentic. It was my first time so there was no expectations of the flavors, but what really got to me was the food was taken to be served for the waitress to come back. I think the waitress came back a little more often or the food didn’t take a while for a hotdog my visit would’ve been more pleasant.

Huge Disappointment!!! Visited Chile Lindo during the Mother’s Day Weekend and being that this is one of the few Chilean restaurants around; I was really looking forward to experiencing Chilenean cuisine and also their well-known Chilean Empanadas! We decided to go for lunch the day before Mothers day, Saturday, in order to avoid the crowds and the price gouging that always happens everywhere for holidays or special days like this one. When we called, we were told to still make a reservation, but when we actually got there, the place was almost empty, there were maybe a total of 5 people. They still have Covid notices and warnings on the front door and the walls, even though no one uses masks anymore and the pandemic has been officially over for some time now. Just plain silly and lazy that no one has taken them down yet. There was also a stack of chairs stack against the wall instead of putting them in a closet out of view. The atmosphere is ruined with the oversize TV’s showing cooking shows?? The place was cleaned but again I visited while the place was empty so no idea what is like when they are actually busy. The Food and Prices The menu itself was a joke, it’s a thin paper copy with the previous food prices whited out and the new prices clearly written over them. So you can actually tell the prices are now higher than before. Just really cheap and silly that for a few dollars they could not print out a new menu instead. The appetizers and the actual entrees were tasty and OK but nothing special, especially for the prices that they charge. We ordered the famous Chilean empanadas and it was like buying the same generic latin empanadas that you can buy everywhere else. Small and pricey, I could buy better ones at my local Publix. I ordered some kind of Chilean fish and I speak pretty good Spanish and I still have no idea what kind of fish it was?? It was some soft white meat and tasted just like Tilapia, again nothing special. The side order was a joke. A small portion of smash potatoes and nothing else. I was still hungry afterwards. Ordered a diet coke and they gave me a can with no glass! The Diet coke was an actual can for $3 dollars and did not include the glass with ice, just the can. And no refills I could walked across the street and bought one for $1 from the vending machine We also ordered some lemonades, once again nothing special and were charged a ridiculous $5 dollars for a normal 8 ounce again and again no refills on anything. The Service. The service was lousy and slow for the place being so empty. We had no napkins on our table, we had to ask and wait 3 times to get some. At times we could not find our waitress, we had to ask other waitresses to bring us stuff. Not courteous at all and lacking good service skills Overall, nothing special here, I did not get the Chilean experience that I was expecting. Food is ok, tasty but pricey. And it really felt just like any other generic Latin restaurant. I would go somewhere else next time, not worth the time and specially not worth the prices they charge!

S
Susana Tootie Dye

The food was delicious & fresh, but it took 3.5 hours to finish our meal. I understand it's the day before Chilean independence day but the restaurant was in complete disarray. Tables were left dirty for 20-30 minutes, there was no wait list, the waitresses couldn't tell us how long the wait was. This is place came up short today, which is unfortunate because this place is normally great. Management failed their customers & staff today.

A
Alejandra “Gaviota 51” Burdiles

The atmosphere looks nice and clean, overall service was just ok, every question we had about the menu was answered with a “we don’t do as supposed to be we do it differently here”. I stopped asking questions and we were looking forward to eat tipical Chilean food but here is the description of our horrible experience: The beef empanada it’s not even the real Chilean empanada as supposed to be. No flavor at all, the “pebre” had no flavor as well. The “Churrasco” (beef with avocado, Tomato and mayonnaise) was diced beef!! With a weird oil smell The “Completo” (Chilean hot dog) served in a demi baguette crunchy not even the right bread. The side of fries came on a plastic basket half lined with a deli paper therefore the fries arrived touching the basket itself and again a weird oil smell. The cheese empanadas were ok. AND BY THE WAY PRICES ARE NOT UPDATED IN GOOGLE EXPECT TO PAY MORE

Deceptive Practices and Overpriced Charges at Chile Lindo Tonight, I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Chile Lindo with my parents. We were looking forward to a pleasant evening, only to be thoroughly disappointed. The restaurant was showing the soccer game between Chile and Peru, which seemed like a fun addition to our dinner—until the bill came. Without any prior notice, we were slapped with a $10 service charge for every person at our table. This charge wasn't mentioned by the staff or noted on the menu, leaving us blindsided when the bill arrived. It's incredibly shady to spring such a fee on your customers without any warning. As a dining establishment, transparency is key. If you have a service charge, it should be communicated upfront, not hidden until the end of the meal. This kind of practice is not only deceptive but also a surefire way to drive away patrons. I certainly won’t be returning and would advise others to avoid this place unless they’re prepared for surprise charges on their bill. Chile Lindo, do better.

The first time we were here it was good and it was nice, but the second time it was the worst service ever, we waited more than 2 hours, they did not attend in order of arrival, to get more customers they left the others who had arrived earlier on wait,we waited 2 hours and more so that they would give us only empanadas and after all the time we were waiting they tell us that they do not have meat in conclusion they ruined our 18

Where to begin? The staff are terribly rude, you have to chase down the servers and they give you attitude. They added a $20 tip to our bill and acted like the system did it when we brought it up. Worst of all, we got food poisoning.

Empanadas ? Nah! Service was terrible, food very mediocre. I won't visit that place ever again. Nobody is happy to see you lol, no smiles, nothing.

We made reservations for a large party of about 30 people plus there are about 3 other parties here and 1 server helping…..everyone order was taking at completely different times so some of us had to wait and watch other people finish they food. I have had problems before here but worse is that the owner it’s literally sitting on a corner DRINKING and not lifting a finger after we complain…if official to say they lost 30 costumers plus those that read this and those that where here and actually complain to other a chain reaction to make this business not successful in the long term

Needs to be a 0 star. Waited 1 hour 30 half NEVER got severed a drink NEVER got served my entree. I did get served a hollow empanada. I wanted to pay for the empanada I was served, the OWNER said no don’t pay for it the empanadas was hollow. The owner knew the food that came out of the kitchen was not to any standard. NEVER coming here again. NEVER recommending. Worst EVER!!!

Tonight was the ongest wait ever, food never came to my Son and his wife and to my daughter and her husband. We were attended by a moody waitress, even we been told she is the oldest one. Wont come back. The owner is present but don't help her employees even when the costumers are getting mad for the waiting issue. We will never come back.

I call them from out of the state so my sister can buy 2 dozen Empanadas and bring them to me . I look as per Menu each is $3.75 but they increased the price to $ 4.50 to me is misleading customers and is not right . in my opinion they should honor the 3.75 but they did not .. I decide not to buy any... Give them a one star due to issue , may change if I ever try the food.

For all customers, check your bill. I have been coming here for the past year and I’ve never had a complaint about a waitress adding something to my bill without knowing about it. I came with my family, and I ordered the following: 2 orders of empanadas de queso 2 empanadas de carne 2 pasteles de choclo 1 order of humitas 1 completo, 2 soft drinks 2 mix drinks For this entire order, we get a small bowl and their regular size bowl of pebre. When I asked for two more pebres the waitress brought me one. She never said that it will be of extra charge, nor I believe it’s on the menu. When the bill came I asked why she charged me $3 for the extra pebre. The waitress begins to argue and I told her that I have never been charged for extra pebre. I told her to go ahead and charge the $3 and I left. I’ve been a waiter in the past and I’ve always had the curtesy to tell the customers for any extra charges. I am not an argumentative person and I can assure you that $3 is not going to hurt my pocket, but I’m writing this because there are people like this waitress that takes advantage of others. If I’m wrong about the waitress, I hope the restaurant makes it clear for all customers that pebre is of extra charge because chilenas can eat several bowls of this during a meal. Thanks

I have the worst experience in my life I want to celebrate life for my mom I tried to go over there August 17th I sit with the manager and the attitude it was not the best ones my mom love iced tea so I asked her if she can make it and with bad attitude she said yes but I will charge you I know the restaurant there is for business but she doesn't need to approach people with that nastiness she also tell me three times she it's going to put 20% service charge I've been in the business for a long time so I know when you have a party more than 10 you should do that but she should not tell me that so I feel didn't want me and my people there so I decide not to do it but I hope they get somebody as a manager who know how to be polite and acknowledges with customer service and I know Wednesday this place have no business that's what I did it on Wednesday but moving forward I'll be ok I will go back there again. The Lost money and they also lost business

place is nice, but very over price double the price from any other Chilean restaurant. Portion was very little for the price and i always get churrasco sandwich an come with a salad or fries didn't come with no side sandwich was a Cuban roll. I would drive a little further to go to Sabores chilenos a some food and half the price. was very disappointed drove 2 hrs for this was not worth the trip at all.

Don’t come to (VIVA CHILE LINDO) restaurant unless you like human hair in your food and still have to pay for it, when I looked on my ticket I asked the lady @ the front desk why are they still charging me for that meal, and her response was “you ate it didn’t you”!! First and last time coming to this location, I also uploaded the beef soup with hair photo to the google pics of this location.

Food was good BUT when we were about to finish our meal we placed an order to go! After almost an hour waiting I had to ask what was going on! They told me food wasn’t even started because they were to busy, they didn’t even have the curtesy to let us know and were very rude about it, like it’s my fault the busy! Worse service ever!

Service good. Seafood nasty. Both fish dishes we ordered were burnt and overseasoned. Both types of empanadas were nasty. Need a better chef. Don't waste your money.

Today me and my wife decided to go and have lunch at Viva Chile Lindo ( Chilean Restaurant) around 5PM, our last time there ( 1 month ago), we had a really good service by a young Colombian guy, the food was good and prices aswell. Today was the whole opposite unfortunately, and this time I invited my parents also. Our server Ana was far the worst service I've ever had in a restaurant, I have family members and friends that go often there and they have mentioned to me about the really bad service that she gives to customers, that I at the time did not yet experience untill today. The place was empty , it was our table (group of 6) and 1 other table with 1 person only... The music was a bit loud when we got there, they eventually lowered it a little.... My first surprise was that the prices on the menu were a bit higher than the last time, some plates $3usd more , side plates some $1.00 more , empandas also a little higher....so mainly the whole menu went up a few dollars.. Which that's fine, but it's not updated on the Internet yet... So Ana started taking our order one by one, using the word "TU" instead of "Usted" which in Spanish it's not formal at all and disrespectful when your working and giving customer service and talking to clients... You must treat everyone with respect using the Term "Usted" (which is you, but in a kindly and respectful manner. Second thing was when she approached with my son's plate at the table , he was distracted watching a video and his arms were on top of the table leaving her without room to put his plate, so she tells him " Saca las manos" which means (move your hands, but you can say it in a different and friendly manner, and not the way she said it). So at that point I was getting upset and obviously this spoiled our whole lunch.. Meanwhile we were eating but before that, they give you bread with butter and some sauce called "Pebre" before they bring your food, just like Cheese Cake Factory or a lot of different restaurants mainly latin are used to this tradition, so in the middle of our meal I asked for more bread and she answered back saying I will add it to your order, that's when I asked her : Am I going to be charged for the extra Bread ? (Which is supposed to be complimentary) She said Yes the first order is free but any additional order , it will be charged to your bill. The other times before when I went and actually the last time I went , I asked for additional bread and was not charge at all or was mentioned anything about it... So I told her that I've been here before and was never charged for the bread and she said : "We always charged it and I've been working here more than 10 years..." After that las interaction I got irritated and asked for the manager..At first she denied me to let me speak with him...telling me that he was in the Kitchen Busy and that doesn't like to speak with customers.... Which to me that was very strange, which owner of a restaurant doesn't want to know when some thing is wrong or the service isn't good..I'm the kind of person that when this gets to this level I ask for a manager... At this point it was necesarry. She left to the cashier, I got up the table went back to her and asked her again for the manager and she changed the story telling me that the owner wasn't there and that he will be returning very late. The she tells me go outside and see if his truck is there...( And I was like 🤦couldn't believe what I was hearing) Than I tell her if she can call him over the phone , and she says , "No I can't , I'm not allowed to call him". At that point she was only saying nonsense.. Than she ask me why do you want to talk to the owner , is it because of the bread?? And I was like, probably , but several other things... And than she tells me because I could give you some extra bread... I think she felt that she messed up and then brought 3 little tiny bread to the table... I hope Brandon P the owner takes discipline actions. It's sad to know that good clients like myself will not go back to this location due to the poor service from this lady Ana.

The owner was very rude. I tried giving her feedback about the service and her response was “ there is sabores chilenos and Pamelas “ the food is not fresh and it does nota taste as authentic . Most Chileans go to this restaurant because they don’t have another option . Will never return. I rather drive to Miami. DJ is pretty bad plays same artist over and over. The service was also poor. Very sarcastic waitress.

Horrible experience! Food without taste. The avocado look that was from the day before. Plus, the food was more expensive than the prices online. They charge you a mandatory 18% tip when the service was mediocre. They didn't even bring water! I am sorry that I took my husband to have a chilean culinary experience and it was so disappointing!

I’ve heard from a few people about chile Lindo restaurant on 441 and ived decided to give it a try with my husband.. everything was good until our server yanet couldn’t speak English and was rude about it!!! Not to mention that she rubbed her butt all over my husband trying to fit in between the chairs(mind you she could of had passed thru the other side) so I will not visit this place again and I don’t recommend it especially to a family night out! We even asked for a manager and the guy there said there was none but then he walks over to her and starts to laugh and looks our way. Very rude and very unprofessional!
