We made a reservation at Del Frisco’s to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was an excellent choice. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was attentive without being overwhelming. I had a vodka martini with a twist, and it was perfectly made—simple, clean, and delicious. For my meal, I ordered my steak rare, which many steakhouses struggle to get right, but this one was truly rare and cooked exactly the way I like it. The atmosphere was beautiful, elegant, and surprisingly easy to carry on a conversation with friends. It felt special without being stuffy. The only drawback is the price. It is definitely on the higher end—we averaged over $150 per person. But for a celebration or a special night out, the experience, quality, and flawless execution make it worth it. Overall, Del Frisco’s delivered a memorable evening with incredible food, excellent service, and a refined atmosphere.

We’ve been coming to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Downtown FW, for years to celebrate our wedding anniversary and other special occasions. The service never fails to impress! We’ve had many servers in the past, and Taylor who we had tonight has been the very best yet. She was attentive and thorough- we learned things we’ve never known until now! The atmosphere is charming and unique. The historic building is just special. Though it can get loud when crowded, we came early and it was much quieter. The butter cake is WORTH the calories. Save room. Thanks Del Frisco’s team. We’ll be back!!

Was recommended by a friend to dine here. Celebrated my father’s birthday and we were absolutely delighted. The ambience, the service, and most importantly the food, were all as advertised. I highly recommend the bone-in ribeye if you’re going for a steak. It’s a bit pricey, but it was absolutely worth it. Anytime I’m looking to treat myself and my guests, Del Frisco’s is definitely the place to be.

This was my first visit to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle, and it exceeded my expectations. We started with the Thick Cut Nueske’s Bacon, which was perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. For my entrée, I had the Bone-In Prime Ribeye, and it was easily one of the most tender and juiciest cuts of steak I’ve ever enjoyed—hands down one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. On top of the amazing food, our server was attentive, helpful, and very friendly, making the entire dining experience outstanding.

This was the first time me and my wife were able to be alone since our son was born! The food was excellent and our waitress was amazing! She took very good care of us! I believe her name was Cameron. We sat in a back room in the corner. She really made our experience wonderful and we will have to plan another trip to come back! Also the butter cake is the best way to finish the meal! It's better than the mousse cake(which was good too)!

This place is sophisticated, grand, and an all around superior dining experience. From the moment you walk in, you just feel classy! We stopped in during Restaurant Week and not only had phenomenal service and food, but the price was also incredible! Our Server Glen was attentive, and super personable. He made the experience just that much better! Each course was fantastic. The salads were divine, the Filet was cooked perfectly, and the Butter Cake for dessert was incredible. Just a lovely time. I’ll be back next week to take advantage of the restaurant week menu once more!

My husband brought me here for Mother’s Day - my first time dining here. We had a reservation and arrived early but we still ended up waiting just a bit. No biggy though, Del Frisco’s has a very nice atmosphere and vibe so I didn’t mind the wait. My husband made our reservations for the patio, which was very nice, although I wish we weren’t seated right by the door. It seemed as if we didn’t have as much privacy. He and I shared the Table Tasting for 2 ($215). It was quite a bit of food. Choosing from 4 to 5 options of each course, we EACH got an appetizer, two entrees (each), one side and one dessert. The food was fantastic. I was not disappointed. I do think they need a larger variety of sides to choose from on this particular menu item- my husband didn’t care for any of the side options. While I would love to come back often, coming back will be reserved for special occasions only, because I cannot justify spending almost $300 on a dinner for two otherwise.

Steak was not up to Del Frisco standards. Meat was stringy like a roast. Also steak and sides were just warm like they had been sitting. Dallas location has been 5 stars every visit. FtWorth let me down.

I’ve been to this restaurant before and had a great experience, but I was disappointed today. We were seated 10 minutes before our 5:30 reservation which was great, but after our drink orders we felt like we were forgotten. Our dinner orders were finally placed 15 minutes after we got our drinks. I got my salmon and got a piece of bone in it, my boyfriend had ordered a ribeye with the “house special” butter on it of truffle and crab but we received the ribeye with no extra butter, we told the man who was delivering our food to not worry about it because at this point we just wanted to eat, then our server showed up with our butter and the crab was cold. I was let down because I was out with my sister and her husband and we both had previous good experiences. I am reluctant to come back again.

Steaks small and very over priced. Ordered the sea bass, had to send it back. Search bass had very fishy smell and tast. Chilean sea bass does not have a fish smell or tast. Also scallops under cooked. Atmosphere was very nice just not worth the price of the meal!

Del Frisco. Well I can say that the look is nice. The building to the inside has a certain ambience that you would expect from this style, caliber restaurant. Upon arrival my reservation was for 7:15, we had to wait 30 minutes before we could be seated. Which is why I made reservations to avoid waiting. But we get seated in the back close to the kitchen. Our server, Sergio was patient and professional in his delivery of the menu and suggestions. All in all the staff was great. Besides the hostess in the front that checks in the guess. She never came back to us so that we could be seated. While sitting at the bar, waiting. I asked the bartender who is MOD (Manager On Duty) for tonight. He told me who they are. After waiting for a while, I asked one of the available managers to provide a status check on our table. And we were finally seated. Now for the food. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass which was rubbery and not tender at all. Sent it back. And the second one was the same. My wife was wise enough to order the Surf and Turf and her meal was great. My Aunt ordered the Salmon and the skin on the salmon was completely burnt. Not charred but burnt. We did speak with management and they tried to get us to reorder everything but we didn't have the time to wait for another round. My ticket was discounted for the mistakes but I'm not too impressed with Del Frisco. Maybe it was an "off night" for them. But if I go again. I will not have the Chilean Sea Bass nor the salmon dish.

We came to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse for an extended family dinner — something that has been a tradition for us around the holidays for years. Unfortunately, this visit made it clear that those traditions are coming to an end. We specifically requested a round table when booking (both in the reservation and again by phone days ahead). When we arrived, we were told it wasn’t available and were seated at a long table for ten. After asking them to double-check, we were eventually moved to a round table — but only after confusion and delay. Our server, Eric, was excellent and did everything he could to keep the evening on track. Sadly, the kitchen did not. Five of the eight steaks were cooked incorrectly. Two had to be sent back repeatedly. Rather than replacing them with new, properly cooked steaks, a manager came to the table and insisted that a very rare steak with a cold red center was “correctly cooked medium-rare.” It took multiple attempts to get something edible, and by then the steaks had been cut into so many times they were essentially chopped up. To make matters worse, they were out of creamed spinach — a staple side at any steakhouse — and this wasn’t the first time shortages have been an issue. Last year, this same location was out of filets entirely. The bar struggled to keep up as well. At a table where multiple people ordered martinis, drinks arrived one at a time, never together, which made even a simple toast impossible. We still love the ambiance, and our waiter truly deserved better support. But between repeated kitchen failures, inventory issues, and a manager’s dismissive attitude, it’s clear this location is living on its past reputation. With several higher-rated steakhouses nearby, this experience no longer justifies the price or the name. This used to be a holiday tradition for our family. Sadly, this will be our last visit.

So if you are going to Del Frisco's you need to be dressed really well. If not the host's will ignore you. I was dressed in average attire walked in presented myself for my party and was completely ignored by all 4 host's and they proceeded to seat 4 families ahead of us. It took one of the other people in my party to finally go up and ask why we were not seated. So we were finally seated, service was fair food was fair. Prices are very high for what you get but there are worse places. So in summary dress nicely and prepare to over pay for decent food.

If you know Del Frisco then you know we paid a pretty price for this meal. We were sat by the side entrance so the door kept being opened and we were hit a freezing draft every time had to eat with jackets on. After ordering we waited almost an hour for our entrees. The waiter explained the kitchen had fallen behind and apologized but then brought out only part of our meal. 3 of the steaks were served below room temperature and one was severely over cooked.They took the steaks back warming up 2 and remaking the 3rd. We had to remind the server that we also ordered sides with the steaks and waited an additional 15 minutes for 3 of the 4 sides never receiving the 4 side. We definitely won’t be back and would not recommend to anyone. Very disappointing experience
