Opinions de Gyro & Burrito House Fort Worth
My coworker and I have been coming here for years. The burritos are delicious and inexpensive. The breakfast is also great. The space is small and lends itself better for to-go orders but the food is definitely worth it. Highly recommended
Updated : Edited to 5 stars. These guys have the best burritos in town and I’m so happy they’re around. I come here almost every morning for breakfast. Potato, egg, cheese, and steak burrito is my favorite, my second choice is their chorizo, egg, chees, and bean burrito. For lunch I love their chicken tacos. The seasoning on their burritos are out of this world!
This is absolutely my fav lunch spot I’ve ever found. Im someone who has to change it up, can hardly do leftovers but when I say I go here 3x a week at least it not everyday for lunch I’m not over exaggerating. Somehow the best gyro and the best burrito I’ve ever had, everything fresh and always is 10/10 the guys up there are cool as hell and service is quick. Like can be out the door and you won’t be there longer than 10-15 on their busiest times. One of the few places that the price matches the food you’re getting. They have tons of options which is why I can go everyday. Get tacos, then burrito, then quesadillas, then a gyro. I haven’t even mentioned or tried their breakfast that ends at 11am and I hear it’s even better and more popular. I know everyone hates when places ask for tip on the iPad but I feel compelled to give these guys a couple extra dollars everyday I’m here. Which is everyday. Thank you to the guys up there for serving the community.
Update: still love the food here and I really respect the owner giving holiday breaks to his staff. ------ I love the food here. The breakfast tacos, the gyro salad, the burritos, and the regular tacos are just made so well. The service is great and the team is always so hardworking. I can't wait to go back. My Coworkers and I make weekly trips.
wow!! talk about phenomenal service!! small little place, but very welcoming and so friendly! Had a hard time ordering so decided on a gyro and a burrito! pickles on my gyro was weird to me, but hey it hits right!! chips were fresh and seasoned nicely, as well as the fries too!! Definitely 5 🌟!!!
I go to the 7-eleven right next door a lot and I always see people going in and out…I had to try it! really good! I got the steak, egg, potatoe & cheese burrito and a Philly cheesesteak I’ll heat up later for lunch! Met the owner..good vibes! Even gave me a courtesy drink while I waited and the wait wasn’t long at all! I’ll definitely be back💯
Employees were friendly and fast to take my order. They prepared the order pretty quickly for 2 gyros and 1 burrito. The burrito is small compared to that of chipotle or other Mexican chains, but the flavor for both gyros and burritos are so on point, i came back the next day to have it again.
Good every day Gyro and fries. Worth lunch if you are in the area, but not worth driving for. Gyro: gyro bread, lamb/beef, lettuce, dill pickels slices (odd but not bad), onions, and taziki sauce. All probably is standard Sysco fair but that keeps the price down. All well prepared. Fries were clean and crisp, seasoned in steak season salt. You can tell they use clean and fresh oil and the light and tasty. Prices were very reasonable, worth the stop.
The food is great but dang. I had to keep myself from coughing the moment I entered that place. It is OBVIOUS that y'all are smoking marijuana in there. You can even smell it outside.... I tried to let it go but it was so bad I just had to make a review about it. Can't you just wait until you're off the clock to do that stuff? Smell is SIGNIFICANT when it comes to eating. I used to be a regular there but I dont think I'm coming back anymore :/
I’ve never gotten to try this place because they’re always closed at dinner time so I finally was able to and I sincerely regret it. When I walked in the door of the place, all of the employees rushed outside to film a fight that was going on in the parking lot and stayed outside for about 10 minutes while I waited for service inside. The inside was pretty barren and dirty looking and when I finally got my food, it was probably the laziest gyro I’ve ever had in my life. I strongly recommend choosing literally anywhere else.
I’d been coming here since 2016, I hadn’t been here in quite some time so I decided to stop in today. Didn’t recognize any of the staff there which I didn’t think much of but the guy at the counter was wearing a shirt that said “Geek’d” and it looked dirty, his eyes shot open unnaturally wide. Definitely not a good appearance for the establishment. Customer service? Didn’t exist. Took one bite of the food and was highly disappointed, it did not taste good at all. If this is new management or ownership it should give GIVEN back to whom was rubbing it before. The guy with the blonde hair and the Hispanic chef knew how to run a business, now the establishment looks sad and run down. What a shame, save your money.
I’ve been going to this gyro place by my job for years, and I stopped by today since it’s been a while. I asked for the lunch-special quesadillas, and the person at the counter told me they don’t have a lunch special anymore. No problem—I went ahead and ordered the regular quesadillas. But I was really disappointed with the quality. I could barely enjoy them because the meat and cheese were falling out everywhere. Everything was basically overflowing and messy, making it hard to eat. After being a loyal customer for so long, this was a letdown.
9/30/2025 I had a lunch break this afternoon & decided to go to Gyro & Burtio for the street taco and the guy at the register & poor customer service he was scrolling through his as posed to taking my order mind you he put cold chicken in the taco as posed to cook the chicken after I ordered it I paid 9 dollars 10 for a cold taco with cold chicken. I don't recommend going
This place used to be really good but recently quality has dropped with the new staff. The rice was hard and undercooked. Disappointing compared to what it used to be
Terrible experience. The rice in my burrito was clearly spoiled — it smelled sour, tasted off, and was so hard it felt like eating pebbles. This is not just low quality, it’s a food safety issue. Serving rice this old is unacceptable and honestly dangerous. I would strongly warn anyone considering eating here to think twice. I will never be back.
I used to love this place, and used to go multiple times a week. However, within the last year they fired the really solid group of guys that used to work behind the counter, and replaced them with these two ladies. And since then the service is way down. The restaurant is now trying to make all these changes to what was already a good hole in the wall restaurant. My last straw for this place was stopping by at 6:30 am on a Monday to grab breakfast however their doors were still locked, even though they open at 6:00 am. The food is still good. They still have the same OG cooking the food, but I won’t be returning because of the poor service.
