I would recommend the crab daddy feast you get snow crab,dungeonis and king crab it tastes so good the waiter writes this on the bibs and if you get something small they bring you it on a crab plate and a gift shop overall amazing

This is a semi frequent place that the family and I visit when we are visiting from out of town. Food is good, prices are reasonable for what they serve. Service has always been great here.

This is going to be a little long so grab tissues. I'm a 2x cancer survivor and DV warrior. Both took so much from me including my teeth. After i found my husband and the most amazing dentist ever, I set up to start fixing my teeth and my confidence. The night before my first surgery, we ate at this exact store. The same manager and the same order of food. 3 years later, today was my last visit of my journey with my dentist with full smiling. My first food to have was Joe's. Bree was our waitress and she was so amazing, attentive and makes the ABSOLUTE DELICIOUS peach tea I've ever had. Please, give that beautiful person a raise!!!! The manager went around and talked with us and other guests just like he did that very first night. We will always be back to Joe's and have it hold a special place in my heart.

Loved my experience here! I was a bit skeptical of getting seafood in Texas, but i was very pleasantly surprised! The crab, shrimp, and fish were all delicious and tasted fresh. Also, solid playground for kids.

Our first time eating at a Joe's crab shack was a great experience. The food is hot, crispy, and tasty. We had fish, shrimp, and clam chowder soup. It is higher in price compared to other similar restaurants. Although the flavor is worth it.

We walked into Joe’s Crab Shack excited to celebrate my birthday, but it was unbearably hot inside. The poor servers were literally dripping in sweat, yet they were still so friendly and professional. They told us the AC was out until Thursday. I really wanted to stay for my birthday dinner, but it was just too uncomfortable, so we decided to leave without eating. Management—please take care of your amazing team. They deserve a comfortable work environment!

I want to start by saying that we’ve been to a Joe’s Crab Shack before…but this was, by far, our absolute favorite visit!! Other ones we’ve been to have been just OK. But this place was AMAZING. We only went because we were craving seafood…& it was right next to our hotel. Since it was the last night of our Vacay, we didn’t want to get out and go far. We were actually a little reluctant to go - but I’m SO GLAD WE WENT. The food. Oh my goodness - the food was INCREDIBLE. We started with the Great Balls of Fire. What a wonderful surprise! They were so crispy on the outside and so creamy with tons of flavor on the inside. My husband ordered the VooDoo Imperial IPA beer, and loved it. It was SO cold. I ordered a Passion Fruit Margarita, and was pleasantly surprised! It was SO MUCH better than just a basic marg. It was packed full of flavor, but not too sweet. It also came with a cute tie dye shaker that I was able to take home! My 10 year old had never had a mocktail before, so she ordered the job-alcoholic Berry & Blues. She LOVED it…plus, she got to keep the cute light up projector cup, which made her super excited. For dinner, my daughter got their chicken tenders, doing extra fries in place of the hush puppies and coleslaw. There were SO MANY chicken tenders. She took it home as leftovers, and ate on it for two more meals! My husband and I made the mistake of ordering the Shrimp and Seafood Ensemble, which is so yummy…but here’s where we went wrong - we BOTH ordered one. So we had our own. We easily could have shared it…& STILL had leftovers!!! It was all delicious - but the fish was my husband’s favorite…& the coconut shrimp was my favorite. The sauce they had for the coconut shrimp was DEVINE. My husband with with the normal fries, coleslaw, and hush puppy sides…& was happy with it all. I subbed the coleslaw for red potatoes. They were good, but could’ve used more seasoning. I do have to stamp that the food wasn’t the only great part of our visit. The atmosphere was incredible. There was a large family near us celebrating a young man’s birthday, who had some sort of disability. The staff came out and sang him happy birthday…& he was so excited, it was infectious. But the best part was how the staff found out that he loved the song “YMCA”. So the staff then performed it, and had him come up with them. He was dancing and having the time of his life! And honestly - we did as well! Everyone in the restaurant was singing and dancing and being a part. Seeing how happy they made that one young man touched our hearts, and brought my husband and I to tears. It was a beautiful, incredible experience…& I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at this establishment. Great job, guys. Everyone - GO HERE. You won’t be sorry.♥️♥️♥️

Fun causal atmosphere with lively service and impressive grilled and fried seafood options. We finished our feast with the key lime pie and brownie s’mores and were very impressed. This is the place to bring friends and family for celebrations and birthday parties! Expect all the staff and nearby tables to be engaged! Joe’s also has covered outside dining patio and fun playground for the kids.

Brought the kiddos in, and man, they were in a fussy mood, and very picky. Our server was Cheyenne. She took it all in stride. Food is always good, but service was top notch tonight.

Daishia is an amazing worker! She goes above and beyond for those in her section and makes us keep wanting to come back! We were there in August last year for my dads birthday and she gave us a card with her name on it and when we went for my grandmothers birthday she was our server again and we showed her we still had the card and she was so ecstatic about that and then she went all out for someone graduation made them a diploma, cap and a paper towel stage to walk on ! Then she made a paper towel runway for my nana and made her walk the runway as we sang happy birthday to her! 1000% will be back

Food is always very good and extremely fresh. If anything isn’t right or to your taste, they will make it right. The clams last week were some of the best I had anywhere. Just hoping prices start to come back down.

As always amazing food and service! We asked the server about making a special dish of what we call fire wheels. Jalapeño slices breaded and fried. We'll they,went above and beyond and not only did we get the "fire wheels", the manager who cooked us this special himself, added breaded and fried green beans and asparagus. YUM!!! We will always chose Joe's Crab Shack for lunch or dinner everytime we come to the Forth Worth area.

Mark absolutely reeled us in with his charm and kept our table sailing smoothly all night. He was funny, fast, and always there right when we needed him—without ever crowding the ship. The crab buckets were amazing (the shrimp scampi, a bit less so), but thanks to Mark we still had a shell of a good time!

Every staff member there were extremely friendly and accommodating! Very nice , clean restaurant with great food, we were impressed!! Our waitress Atiyana was great, very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed! Thank You for a great experience!

Fantastic crab! We come here for the excellent customer service. Shout out to JERSEY and CHEYENNE. We come here because they're willing to serve our crab in a pot instead of a plastic bag. The pot keeps it hot for the duration of the meal. The bag is unsightly and the crab is cold within moments.

Loved the raw and chargrilled oysters...coming from Louisiana those aren't Gulf Oysters and that's perfectly fine they were sweet and fresh will be back for more. Also had to Crab and shrimp nachos. Those were ok....the crab/shrimp is a very cream cheese heavy dip which is fine but you really can't taste the shrimp...and they need to put more crab dip on the nachos not a few small scoops we ran out of dip very fast...and was left with just tortilla chips

EDIT: We have always loved coming here because they support autism awareness month. April is autism's awareness month. The month my daughter was born. We literally have been coming here for years. It was always a joy to see the autism banners, flags and awareness signs. It felt more comfortable to take her here, for the fact that they were accommodating to her allergy and sensory needs. I KNEW something was different this year besides the fact they didn't sing, there was no autism's awareness any where. I just couldn't place my finger on it...I wonder why? We were there for my daughters 30th birthday and they really made her feel special. If you like the taste of seafood...THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! And our waitress was fantabulous!!! And we have been back every year for her birthday. Absolutely delicious. Never disappointed. Service is always great. Sigh this year no birthday song. I was a little sad for her.

Delia was absolutely amazing. She along with the delicious food made our 2 hour drive well worth it.

We had the pleasure of visiting our favorite Joe's location (this one) again and as usual we had another good experience. We tried one of the bagged cajun pots instead of the regular and it was okay but we feel like it was more flavorful in the original so we'll get that next time. Jersey was a fantastic server and kept up with bar as well as tables and we lacked for nothing. We were also helped by Dakota and hunter who were really nice and super efficient workers. We told all of this to the Manager Dalton who was happy to take the compliment and let us know he is proud of his staff. We look forward to visiting again for good food and good people!

Just like I remember did not get any crabs or seafood but I did have lobster bisque soup..we all had something different but filling: shrimp platter w/tilapia and mahi mahi tacos were super good. I like the new drinks that offer a free glass(no refills)

I had an amazing experience at Joe’s Crab Shack! The food and drinks were fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend asking for Hunter his service was top-notch and made our visit even better. I can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I dined in on Valentine's Day. It was packed! But that didn't stop our server, Jaden, from being very attentive and so polite. He suggested delicious add ons to our meal that I've never had at Joe's before....the shrimp scampi and crab cake. They were both sooo good but I especially enjoyed that the crab cake didn't taste like filler. Delicious crab that you could see abd taste. My husband ordered the Crab Daddy Feast and I ordered the Bayou Fried BBQ Crab (I think that's what it was called) but both our meals were some of the best crab that we've had. Full plates and meaty crab legs! The manager, I think his name was Landers? I'm sorry, I forget...but he stopped by to check on us and he was very nice. You could tell he was making sure the whole restaurant was running smoothly. We will definitely be back to this location and will be asking for Jaden!

Jersey was AMAZING!! She accommodated several detailed requests, thoroughly explained menu items with patience and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. She unintrusively checked on us throughout our meal, and was personable and friendly. She is exactly what a server should be and we will be asking for her every time we come!

It's been years since I've had Joe's Crab Shack but my husband and I decided to stop by and have dinner on Valentine's Day. When we arrived we expected an hour wait time like many other restaurants that we had called ahead for but we had a two minute wait time. We were very surprised. The waiter, the service, the drinks and the food were all excellent!! We will definitely stop by again.

We love Joe's! We drive about 30 miles to get to Joe's instead of a few other crab boils along the way. Staff is always great. They have a playground for the kids, live bands on the weekends, and just a fun place to be. Seafood can get expensive so I want to get my money's worth when we go and Joe's is always exceeding my expectations!

I had such a great experience at Joe’s Crab Shack! The service was absolutely top-notch thanks to the manager, Chris, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can really tell he cares about the guests and the overall atmosphere—it made the visit feel extra special. I also tried the new Spicy Fried Chicken, and wow—it was amazing! Perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. It’s definitely something I’ll be coming back for.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! We came here tonight for my kids birthday party. She's quite shy but we still wanted to have the goofy birthday experience that we had growing up (coming to Joe's Crab shack for birthday celebrations has become a tradition in our family). Well, they sure did it! Our server, Jose, was amazing, friendly, checked on us often, made sure we had what we needed, and answered all our questions with a smile. He made us feel super welcome and well taken care of. I wish we could have tipped him more. Then a whole bunch of crew members came out to do the birthday celebration with our kid, who was thoroughly entertained & embarrassed, as we had wanted, haha. And the food was stellar, which has always been the case in the past when we came here so I expected nothing less. Overall this was a fantastic pending to an important birthday and left our whole family feeling wonderful. 10/10, highly recommend, and thank you so much to Jose and the amazing crew of this Joe's Crab Shack! Sidenote: Every time we go here we always get the Great Balls of Fire, the painted crab dessert and the "Shark Nibble" drink, all of which are 100% worth getting every time. The dessert and the drink are a huge crowd pleaser with the kids. They're super cute and fun, very affordably priced, and something we personally haven't seen at any other restaurant.

You go in expecting solid seafood, a fun vibe, and a stiff drink or two, and that’s exactly what you get. But this particular location? It’s my favorite for one game-changing reason: There’s. A. Jungle. Gym. Yes, a full-on play space that turns dinner into a win for the whole crew. We grab a table on the patio, order food, and let the kids go run wild. We can see them from where we sit, so while they climb and giggle like the feral little angels they are, we get to sip our drinks and have a real, adult meal. A unicorn experience. The food comes out fast, hot, and just what you’d expect—reliable seafood favorites, nothing too fancy, but hits the spot. The drinks are strong enough to make the chaos a little funnier, and the setup makes it one of the few places where I feel like everyone—grown-ups and kids—gets to win. TL;DR: Same Joe’s you know and love, but with a jungle gym. Seafood, sunshine, and 45 peaceful minutes of patio parenting bliss. Sold.

The food was good but a little overcooked

I had the Shrimp 3 ways which was pretty good. The grilled shrimp could've used some butter, but it still pretty good. The stuffed shrimp was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we had everything. I also had the Bacardi Strawberry Lemonade which was soooo delicious. The Bacardi snuck up on me lol, but I ordered another one 😂😂. The manager went to a few tables while we were there for the 2 hours, but we noticed he never stopped at any of the tables that were all African Americans and we weren't the only ones to notice. He would walk past our table several times and speak to the caucasian people to see how they were doing while waiting for they're food or while they're eating. I'm not sure if it was on purpose but us and few different tables with African Americans noticed. Kind of made it weird, but All in all the food was pretty good.

For a chain seafood place they have a decent happy hour. Our group split a dozen raw oysters and they were chilled well and fresh. We also ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms, which were kinda bready, so it’s a pass on those if we go back. But the fries and peel and eat shrimp were decent. I’m mixed on Joe’s Crab Shack. Not sure if I’d go back. But this location has tons of free parking. The interior was a little too warm for comfort but it was a hundred degrees out and it probably affected the indoor temps.

Very enjoyable if not a little cliché, but it's ok because they seam to have started the fad lol. More on the pricey side but the food was ample and tasted well.

We had the calamari to start with it was pretty good wasn't all chewy and stuff it was nice and Chris really good flavor then had the crab nachos those are really good that's really the only reason we would go there cuz I wasn't sell those and that's really the only Joe's Crab shack that's open anymore in the area so we drive about 35 minutes at least to get there but it's worth it I suggest to anybody especially people that have never been there Tonight has a playground for the kids they love it just watch out whenever it's mid like about 5:00 or 6:00 in the afternoon that would a lot of them birds that if duck recover whenever you're going to run in the restaurant don't look up.

Our party of 7 went for dinner. There was no wait and we were immediately sat down. We were sat to the left of the restaurant and they sat us at the only available table on that side. I looked over at the other side of the restaurant and it was completely empty. This didn’t make sense since we were overcrowded on that side. Other than that our dinner was delicious and our customer service was great. I would definitely come back whenever I’m in town. We also bought some souvenirs.

Almost everything here was Top Notch. We had the fried mozzarella as an appetizer, and it was some of the best I've ever had. The french fries were great, the broccoli was cooked perfect, the white rice that was served with my Lobster was the best I've had in awhile. For my main meal I had the lobster tails, and they serve three of them. So the portion is generous. However the first go-around they were over cooked and very hard to cut. I sent two of them back and the ones that came back were cooked correctly. Very courteous wait staff and manager. We will be back. Although I will be trying a different dish next time.

We had an early dinner at Joe's on a Saturday. It was nice to show up and not have to wait long for our food. We ordered the Atlantic boil with garlic. We received our garlic bread with marinara sauce first. They were very good and we will definitely be ordering more in the future. We received friendly service from the staff. Overall good dinner at Joe's Crab Shack in north Fort Worth.

1. Food was better than I thought it was going to be. 2. It was expensive, but I appreciate the environment and experience. 3. The table was sticky, due to constant wiping down, it removed the laminated furnish on the table. 4.The crab cakes were good. My tacos were 10/10. I recommend people to enjoy a good seafood experience here. 👍

Great staff, good food, and a fun atmosphere. Our server was attentive without being obtrusive. The general manager is very friendly and outgoing. A good place to eat.

It was good for my girlfriend but the oysters were dirty & you could taste the water they came from. They didn't taste very fresh. But the service was good & the ambiance was good.

Dined 6-7-2024. Our server was fantastic. Atmosphere was energetic and fun. The food, lacked a lot. We paid 5 star restaurant prices for 1 star food. Skinny small crab legs and TWO tiny lobster claws. Plenty of potatoes, sausage and corn cob, probably for filler is my guess, but the salt and seasoning was extreme and made it unpalatable most of our meal. The coconut shrimp was divine, however. Wouldn’t change a thing of the coconut shrimp but the boiler plate? You have GOT to do better! Cut back on the salt! My tongue was raw when we left. Not good! My husband and I arrived on friday around 4pm for Happy Hour. He ordered me a Bloody Mary and him a TKO Punch. Waitress brought back a Margarita and a TKO Punch. I went ahead and dranked the Margarita it wasn't bad although it was not what I ordered. My husband punch tasted like punch with no alcohol. We ordered the Calamari for appetizer. It came out fairly quick and hot. It had no seasonings on it what so ever. It was bland. I have never ordered tasteless calamari. Entrees: I ordered the Catfish entree. It came with red beans and rice and I ordered a side of Coleslaw. My coleslaw was good. My fish was fishy and to bland to eat. My red beans and rice were mushy with no seasonings. My husband ordered the Redfish and Lobster. He stated the sauce was ok but the fish tasted as if it had frost bite. He could barely eat it. Neither of us returned our food or drinks because we really hate to do that but we will never return to this establishment. We understand why only 4 tables were occupied on a Friday evening. We are not very picky eaters. The numerous reviews that state the food is bland are real. I understand why numerous locations are shutting down.

So we went today for dinner and it was absolutely not what we expected! very disappointed, we all were. My husband, son, myself even my daughter. We the boils and it basically had no seasoning no flavor, the shrimp was over cooked, the mussels were horrible and were so tiny. The only thing that was good was the corn and crab legs. How i don’t know. The kids pizza was nasty and mind you our little one loves pizza. The fruit cup we chose we chose it because it said FRESH fruit. NOPE! It was a fruit cup you can buy at the grocery store to top it all off the fruit cup was hot not even cold. Poor kid of ours still ate the fruit because she was hungry but we left a lot of food behind. I really thought I was gonna eat good especially since I’m due on Thursday and of course my husband and son love seafood. This is the last time we come. The place to go is Crab Station. Definitely NOT this place. Plus the prices were crazy!

Food was bad and a bad portion for the price. They couldn’t even get my beer right, it was flat like it was left out in the sun then refrigerated for 15min before they handed it to me.

My husband and I went for valentines day and got crab legs shrimp stem and the shrimp was over cooked and corn on the cob under cooked. Will not be going back.

I took my family to Joe’s Crab Shack for dinner, and this was hands-down one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We waited 30 minutes after being seated, and during that time three different servers walked past us repeatedly without so much as a greeting, a “hey, someone will be with”, or even eye contact. We were completely overlooked while other tables who arrived after us were helped immediately. It was frustrating, embarrassing, and honestly just unprofessional. After half an hour of being ignored, we ended up leaving without ever being served. If this is the level of service they consider acceptable, we won’t be returning.

Server was friendly. Although it was not busy at all…the service was slow and we had to ask someone several times for refills which is fine. Tables that arrived after us go their food before us. That was the least of our issues though unfortunately. We had 3 people order (2)snow crab and (1) Dungeness crab…they brought our food without the tool (cracker) to eat it with. 3 different people included the manager that we let know told us they don’t have many so they have to track it down. So our food sat until they could find them. 1 persons food wasn’t cooked fully and another had steak but it was cold by the time they brought it out. I don’t like to sound negative but this was just not a good experience at all, won’t be back and don’t recommend.

This is not like the Joe's Crab Shack we had in Arlington! This location has horrible food! Mashed potatoes were gooey, the shrimp had no flavor, my grilled shrimp were not even grilled they didn't have one grill mark on them more like sautéed, I had five small pieces of broccoli.. had to take my shrimp home and add some old bay and a lil garlic powder so it could taste better! Menu is overpriced and the food is horrible!
