Great time with this restaurant. There is always a little weight but well worth it. Food is awesome and the drinks are just as amazing. Highly recommend. But don't go there if you're in a hurry! You will most likely have a wait but like I said it will be worth it.

This is a fantastic place for Mexican and Tex-Mex! Really good mixed drinks couple with fast and friendly service! I highly recommend their Bistec Ranchero. It is fabulous!

Excellent restaurant, this is the best Mexican food in this area! I hadn't been in a couple years because I have been out of the area. I went back tonight and it was fabulous and delicious 😋 These sour cream chicken enchiladas were very tasty and so delicious! The beans, rice and salsa were all so good. Highly recommend!

This place is delicious! Everything was super fresh and flavorful! Best Mexican food we had since moving here in 2023. Our family of 4 had the Chicken and Beef fajitas, Chicken fajita nachos, Chicken Quesadilla, and the Tijuana plate. No complaints! The salsa is soo good. Kim was such an amazing server. Super attentive.

This weekends lunch led us to Los Molcajetes Mexican Restaurant in North Fort Worth. I figured we chose the right spot when I seen several outside. I assumed it would be a wait but no! We walked in and immediately were seated! The Pros The service is superb! The time between placing our order and receiving our food was less than 15 minutes. The food was hot and so delicious. Chips were fresh and the salsa was just right. The only issues I had was the seating arrangements. I know that in placing tables you have to minimize your space however we sat at a table. The table next to us was not even 6in away. It seemed a little too tight but all in all it was ok! We enjoyed this restaurant and will return! Husband had the chicken mole enchiladas and I had the chicken sour cream enchiladas! Margaritas were strong and well worth it!

So good people wait in their car for tables! We only waited 10 minutes and were seated during prime time 7 pm traffic. The drinks were good. We tried the swirling margaritas. We had stuffed jelopinos made from a sweet flour batter and packed with generous portions of cheese. We tried chicken topico, a spicy version of taco salad, and a plate I can't remember the name but had cheese enchiladas with a beef or cheese chili rejano. All was great and will definitely come back again! ((apologies for any miss-spellings, the drinks were just that good!))

1st time to this restaurant I visited the Ft. Worth location. There is free parking but it’s in a shopping center which makes it a bit difficult to find parking. I went on a Saturday during dinner and it was pretty busy but was only a 10 min wait and was worth the wait. This restaurant is considered Tex-Mex. But let me say this is the closest it comes to a true authentic Mexican food. Waitress are very friendly and service is very fast. I ordered the Brisket tacos which were delicious. While you wait for your food you must try their salsa with chips. Corn tortillas are made there. Food portions are very generous. Prices are very reasonable. They offer a variety of beers and mix drinks at a very reasonable price. ($cheap$) there is a bar area if you prefer to sit there. This restaurant is kid friendly. Dress is casual to dressy casual. This will be a new restaurant option for sure.

My family loves this Mexican food! Great chips and salsa. Fast service. I recommend the Pollo a la Plancha with charro beans or the fajita salad.

Fajitas are the way to go! We always get the steak and shrimp and they are always tender and perfectly cooked, even when delivered. Rice and beans are also fantastic, and I take note of that since I feel like they are too often a throwaway. Chips, queso, house salsas, and guacamole are also delicious. 4 stars instead of 5 only because I have also ordered some not so great things: quesadilla with very minimal fillings for the price, dry and bland chicken fajitas, and quail and fish/shrimp plate that are 50% of the time great, 50% of the time not. But the steak and shrimp fajitas and rice and beans are worth your time, every time. Highly recommended on those things alone.

With so many Mexican options in the area, I was hesitant to give this place a go, but once I walked in, I knew it was going to deliver. The complimentary chips and salsa started us off on the right foot. I ordered the Los Molcajetes Especial with beef, and it was solid. The beef and shrimp are good, and I thought the quail was unique. The only thing I would've liked to have with it was sour cream, but it's incredibly filling and well prepared. I'd order something different on my next visit. The fried ice cream is fantastic, and I'd highly recommend you give it a try. It can safely be shared by 2-3 people, or consumed alone. The service is top notch. Our waitress was fast and didn't forget a single request, which I was amazed by considering we were a group of nine. We were seated quickly, and everyone we interacted with was friendly. I also loved the atmosphere. It really delivers the full package.

I usually go to the Mansfield location and the food is always great, so I decided to try the Fort Worth location since it’s closer. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The beef had no flavor at all, the queso fundido was hard instead of melted, and the chile con queso lacked seasoning. The rice portions were extremely small compared to what I’m used to at the Mansfield location. I didn’t complain during the visit because it was my partner’s birthday and I didn’t want to ruin the moment, but the quality difference between locations is very noticeable. I hope management can work on consistency because this was not up to the standard I expected.
