Finally found our new hibachi place after dumping Hanabi across the highway! It was very clean inside and the service was top notch. Our chef, Sabino, was excellent! Very entertaining and gave us extra sake shots. Even the kids got “baby sake shots” in the form of lemonade in a baby bottle! The food was so delicious and the portions were HUGE (picture shows my plate after I had already eaten quite a bit). They even had some buckets set out full of free balloon swords for the kids to take. Happy to say that we will be repeat customers because of the great experience we had. Do not sleep on this place!
The food was very fresh , cooked well and very tasty ! But the experience of the awesome chef entertaining us alongside the kind servers is what really made everything even more Amazing ! We sat at the hibachi table together with other people and their relatives, and by the time we left we all felt like one big family. Highly recommend this place! Incredible first time experience!
Kyle (bartender) was an awesome guy. Took care of my buddy and i and did the research to make drinks that he didnt know of before. Awesome guy. Marco our hibachi chef was also great! Made my bachelor party dinner very enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend
Food was great. Hands down better than many places we have visited in the metroplex! The hibachi chef was great and had many tricks. It didn’t feel like he was only going through the motions. He was having fun and he was great with kids and adults alike. This will be our new hibachi restaurant going forward!
Our family had our mothers 85th birthday this past Saturday Nov 1st. The food, atmosphere was the perfect party. We had a party of 11 and originally had reservation with Benihana's. They would not seat us together...we would have to have a split table. Kyushu Hibachi was accommodating for seating 11 within 15 minutes. And, let me just say chef Savino puts on a show...with incredible food! Made our whole night!!! Thank you!!!
Great place and for the price its a real gem. Chef was awesome. Knew all the tricks. The location is a little beat up but I went for the food and they delivered. Fried Rice, Lo Mein, Filet Mignon, Shrimp, Chicken, Scallops we had it all and all of it was perfection. Close by our place and very reasonably priced. So they'll see us often.
Amazing! We used to have a regular place we'd go in Keller once every three or four months, it was good enough, but we moved farther West and so we have this place a shot and honestly wish I had years ago. The service was great, chefs are A++ with a great energy and presence about them, and catering to adults and children at the table, but the food was the highlight. We had chicken, filet and shrimp across the various family members and all were absolutely delicious, best I've had anywhere in the Fort Worth area, and the prices were very reasonable, on par with any other hibachi grills in the area. We've definitely found our new hibachi spot!
Absolutely one of the greatest hibachi in DFW! We visited Kyushu Hibachi to celebrate our son’s 16th birthday! This was our first time visiting the establishment. We were completely impressed with the atmosphere. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. One thing I appreciated is that they didn’t seat incomplete parties. They filled in the hibachi area timely so no one guest was waiting to start enjoying their meals. With your entree, you receive quite a bit of food. (Starter: soup, salad, 2-shrimp). We chose the Trio Hibachi combo with chicken, steak and shrimp. Everything was seasoned to perfection! We will definitely visit again!
We went hibachi here at lunch on a Monday. The staff are all friendly and attentive. Two parties were celebrating birthdays and the staff went out of their way to make them feel special. They brought out a treat with a sparkler and a drum to sing happy birthday for each person. The hibachi was really good - we tried the salmon and chicken. The menu had lots of different options including a sushi bar. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and inviting. There are regular tables as well as a bar in addition to hibachi seating. Was a good experience and is the place to go if you’re around looking for hibachi.
First visit here, joined our family for my nephews birthday! The staff was super accommodating & professional. The food was good , we did the Hibachi grill because that’s what my nephew wanted! We got, steak, chicken, salmon, and shrimp!! Everyone was full before finishing their entree’, the soup & the salad wasn’t that great unfortunately. The chef was awesome!! They even did a little thing for my nephews birthday once they found out. 😃
We loved it. We do Sushi maybe once or twice a year and this is our chosen spot. The minus 1 star was because everything felt sticky at our table .. i do think they maybe need to do a deep clean and then it'll upgrade to a 5 star for a sushi spot. So you be the judge on cleanliness at your table once you're there. We tried a few rolls and they all tasted fresh. It's so scary to eat sushi at these places because you don't know how long they had these things in the back but here we didn't smell anything fishy or weird. Do it's a thumbs up from us. I did include pictures of what we ate...i honestly don't remember the names of the rolls so I'd say feel free to experiment!
Ordered a celebratory platter from here three times. The Love Boat for 2 (12 pcs. sushi, 15 pcs. sashimi, California roll and godzilla roll) and added on an unagi roll and Alaska roll. My husband does not really eat sushi so it was all for me! Two meals each time. This is not high end sushi nor do i expect it to be. But I was still pretty impressed with the quality each time. Good portions, good cuts, flavorful sushi rice. When I want to splurge and celebrate, it's a pretty great way to do it.
Wonderful Family Experience at Kyushu Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi Last Friday night, my wife and I met our two children and their families at Kyushu Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi for dinner — a lively group of about 12 people (6 adults and 6 kids under 5, though a few of us adults might have acted that way at times). At first, we were a bit frustrated that the restaurant required our full party to arrive before seating us, especially since there’s usually a short wait before service begins anyway. However, once everyone arrived, things moved smoothly, and our evening turned out to be fantastic. The staff was friendly and attentive, and once we were seated, the pace picked up. Drinks, soup, and salad came out quickly, and before long, our hibachi chef arrived, ready to entertain and cook up a feast. If you’ve never experienced a hibachi dinner, you’re in for a treat. The rhythmic clanging of the chef’s tools — the spatula and meat fork — sounded like a drumbeat. He spun his utensils with flair, much to the delight of the grandkids. Soon came the fun cucumber toss challenge — the guys managed to catch theirs; the ladies… not so much! Then came the fiery show — a burst of flame on the grill that caught everyone’s attention, especially the kids! The famous “onion volcano” followed, flaming high before the chef dove into cooking our meal. Between the laughter, the spectacle, and the wonderful food — salmon, steak, chicken, and all the fixings — everyone had a great time. We were celebrating our daughter’s “29th-something” birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better evening for it. Thank you, Kyushu Hibachi Steakhouse & Sushi, for a memorable night of food, fun, and family!
Came here with a party of 9. Wait wasn't bad at all for a Friday. The hostesses refused to seat our party until everyone arrived. The hostesses were extremely rude & didn't seem like they wanted to be there. The waiter was forgetful and brought the wrong drink, then didn't want to bring the correct one. Besides the waiters and waitresses, the chef was amazing. He was fun and overall made it a great experience. The food was great (a bit salty though) and we all enjoyed the meal. We all got the Hibachi dinners, received big portions. I got the filet mignon. The white sauce they give you to dip was AMAZING. It also came with a soup & salad. Soup wasn't very flavorful, not the best. Very small bowl of salad Overall fun experience but don't know if l'd recommend or come back.
Honestly the food just wasn’t that great for the price.I think there are lots of better options . Even the soy sauce was watered down. The miso soup tasted soapy? Service was very attentive though! We sat at a table, not the hibachi so I imagine the quality of food is better in that case.
Waitresses was unpleasant, put a complete damper on our night. It was my daughter's 15th birthday and sadly it was a disappointment. She was not friendly, we felt rushed and when I mentioned that and it was my daughter's birthday we wanted to relax, she appeared to get annoyed and defensive. She did apologize yet seemed to stay upset over it the remainder of the evening. The chef was fun had a good personality thankfully, he lifted the mood at the table. Food was OK, steak was cook as requested, noodles a bit oily and my lobster tail was over cooked. A deep clean is needed, there was a dark grease trail down the sidewall next to hibachi grill and at the grill across from ours several grease trails on the back wall under the grill. It looks like the grease was there for a while.
