This was our first time here. We were celebrating our anniversary at dinner. Our waitress Brie was amazing and so sweet. The manager was amazing as well. Are complements to the chef in the back! The food was on point and amazingly delicious. I got the French onion soup which is the best I've ever had anywhere. I also tried one of their signature ice vanilla lattes which was delicious. My husband got the chicken and waffles and I got the French pot roast which we both enjoyed tremendously. Then for dessert we shared a whiskey butter bread pudding and that was just heavenly. If you want a great place to go with a friendly staff and amazing chefs, Mimi's Cafe is the place! We can't wait to go back.
Delicious French cuisine. Excellent waiter,Jesse. This was my first time here and there are so many tasty choices on the menu. I am looking forward to a return trip!
We went late in the day and it was kind of empty which made it nice.So we could talk and enjoy our food. My mother really enjoyed the food full of flavor I personally like the iced coffee and the cream brulee.
So, I felt like I should come on here and give Mimi’s a fair shake after reading some of the recent reviews… this was my second time eating here now and both times the food was great. I had eggs and bacon and pancakes and French fries none of which was bland or cold or undercooked. Matter of fact my eggs over medium was pretty perfect to me.. I want to encourage people who have never tried it to give it a shot and don’t be put off from bad reviews. ❤️
Mimi’s is ALWAYS a never fail eatery. The Expedia always friendly, professional and down home. We had Eva and she was very courteous and appreciative. She did everything with a smile. Thanks Eva.
Keenan was my server to me and my mother. He treated us so well I actually thought he was the owner. The suggestions he made for the salmon entree were amazing, the sweet tea and lemonade, fresh baked mouthwatering muffins all fit like hand n glove. We will be returning next week with more of our friends cause this is how you treat patrons…outstanding!!! 10 stars out of10 !! Keenan (our server for life) 😊
Jada and Keenan are both the most amazing employees. On top of being prompt, attentive, and caring, they are so kind and make amazing personal connections! If you go on a Saturday, ask for Keenan! If you go on Sunday, make sure to ask for a table with Jada! They are the reason we always come back!
Great atmosphere & Briana ROCKED with excellent service and a great personality! Definitely will be back!
Never ate here till today , the place is clean and friendly staff , the menu was an actual menu. My daughter had puppy cake and I had a mushroom swiss burger and salad... Came here for breakfast I had eggs salmon Benedict with green peppers and onions w/ my potatoes. My partner had salmon omlet with potatoes and white toast. It was so good . Supreme... Wait staff was very nice and the bathrooms were clean ... Highly recommend ...
Dined in with my family, everyone was very friendly, our server Kristine took very good care of us. I ordered the Glazed salmon and it was amazing.... overall 10/10.
Yesterday 4/02/2024. I was looking for recommendations to eat some brunch. And Google gives me the recommendation for Mimi's Cafe. And goodness what a wonderful recommendation turn out to be. From the host, our server, the homie coziness atmosphere and the yummy food. My family and I have a very good experience eating in here. And their prices are very reasonable. We definitely will come back. 💚
Food is Fantastic every single time, kitchen was a bit slow, but well worth the small wait and Shontay was just so sweet and a great server!!! Love MiMis Cafe! Update: went back today 12/29/17. Did not have our usual server, the Fantastic Shontay, had another server who failed to give her name. Was friendly but was very slow service wise and a bit forgetful, may have been due to being busy but it was not the busiest I have ever seen this place. The food was absolutely wonderful though. You can not go wrong here! Everything on the menu is fantastic and the Chefs do a great job and is always worth a bit of a wait on occasion ! 👍👍👍 Eggs Benedict Florentine with Avocado, and the Roast Turkey Club under all the fries, and with a side salad and added avocado. So Good!!
Service was friendly and fast. Hadn’t been there before and asked the waitress which plate I should go with for breakfast - the chicken and waffles or steak and eggs.. she recommended the steak and eggs and it didn’t disappoint. Breakfast steaks are tricky to cook because they are usually a thinner cut and they cook quickly. I asked for medium rare - medium doneness expecting a well done steak but to my surprise it came out with the perfect amount of pink in the middle. It had a garlic herb butter on top that really made it stand out. Eggs were good, and potatoes were nice and crispy on the outside and soft inside. My wife got the cinnamon roll French toast and it was also fantastic. This place is more expensive than IHOP , but the price difference is worth it. I’d eat here again for sure. Great place for a breakfast date.
Briana was absolutely amazing! Great service and super friendly ☺️ I had the salmon Benedict and the seasonal Dubai chocolate muffin with a spicy Bloody Mary. All was amazing and fresh
Maritiza was very nice service was great she was a really nice server the atmosphere was great I got greeted as soon as I entered and seated right away and the food was amazing loved everything loved their muffins overall a really nice place to have brunch
Starting the year healthy with a flavorful house salad at one of our favorite restaurants, Mimi's! Great food and amazing service. We've come here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for years, so we know and enjoy the service team. Tonight, one of our favorite team members, Andi, took great care of us as always! Whether she's serving or managing, Andi is the best!
We moved to Texas about two months ago. I used to go to Mimi's Cafe reg in Colorado where I lived. They closed down and was disappointed in that. We went to the place.ckisest to us on Sunday and had a great experience. Eve was our server and she did a fantastic job...
This was the second time I went to Mimi’s and it was as great as the first! Briana gave us excellent service, the food came out very quickly, and everything was delicious. Really good service and breakfast!
Sky was amazing we even had the same name! Such a fun experience at Mimi’s I loved the caramel macchiato and the breakfast menu is huge so much to choose from!
Delicious food and AMAZING service. Jesse had great recommendations and he is probably one of the best servers I’ve ever had (at any restaurant)!
This is my second visit during happy hour. The first time I got an appetizer trio, it was so much food! This visit I got the blue cheese chicken quesadillas. Yum and still a lot of food! My server both times has been Christine and she is great and does everything a server should do. She is a wonderful asset! The atmosphere is relaxing with great music. This place isn't very busy when I've come, but I hope they get enough business to stay open.
Me and my family enjoyed brunch at this place. Their new seasonal menu is really tasty. Very attentive and friendly environment. Really recommend!!
Eva was extremely pleasant. I was greeted with the biggest smile ever and big thanks to her for recommending the mini muffins so good
The food was very well made and we enjoyed our time here. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. They gave us a free Dubai chocolate muffin fresh out of the oven to try and we loved it! So nice of them. Will be coming back!
Keenan was an excellent waiter (he has a great laugh) and had broad knowledge of the menu. The design of Mimi's is pleasant, and the seasonal dishes are interesting! We enjoyed the spinach artichoke omelette and the chocolate ganache griddlecakes from the summer menu. Thank you for making our first visit to Mimi's a fun one Keenan! :)
Myself and the missus had reservations for 5pm on mothers day. It wasn't very crowded, and we were seated straightaway. Our server was Maria, and she was excellent with a capital E! We found her to be pleasant, outgoing, polite, and attentive ... qualities we enjoy seeing in servers. In my opinion, she sets the standard for other servers to follow. And when I say attentive, I didn't even have to request for a drink refill at all ... especially as to how fast I go through a glass of tea (lol). Then too, the food was absolutely amazing!! We pretty much got the best of both worlds of "fine dining" between awesome service and great food!! We were so impressed, we spoke to the manageress on duty and expressed our appreciation concerning the service as well as the food. So if in the event you are in the mood for something other than "fast food", I highly recommend this Mimi's Cafe location ... and whilst you're there, do ask for Maria. You will undoubtedly get the service that you're hoping for from her! And yes, we will be returning some time in the very near future. Thank you Maria & Mimi's Cafe for a wonderful "mothers day dinner", and a dining experience that was top notch, first rate! Well done indeed!
This is a great restaurant for a couple, business meeting or, a fellowship with friends or church. They have great food and great service. Restaurants is clean good is at a reasonable price.
My family ate a late breakfast here this morning, Ethan helped us out and was very attentive in his serving. The food was great and came out pretty quickly, the only negative is that my wife's ham and cheese omelet was luke warm on the inside. Overall, it was still a great breakfast with the type of good service we like from places like Mimi's Cafe. P.s. The blueberry crumble muffin pictured here is wonderful in every way.
My sister treated me to a birthday breakfast and I got the bacon, ham and sausage omelet. It was perfect! It came with potatoes and toast. We had an 8:30a reservation which wasn't necessary because the crowd was very light at that time. Our server, Julian I believe that's his name, was amazing! I had an amazing experience!
Attention to detail with orders were great, clean environment, friendly service. Shout out to our waiter Jesse; kind fella and expedient with great service.
Food was amazing! I started by ordering a Mango Mimosa which was a 10/10! We got the spinach artichoke dip which was also a 10/10, we also got an order of the stuffed berry French toast to share and it was great! Our server was Jesse and he did an amazing job at attending us and making sure everything was good! I really recommend requesting him as y’all’s server. Food wise I ended up going with the avocado bacon omelette which was so bomb! I recommend eating here, place was super clean and everyone was super nice overall! You won’t be disappointed.
So many great food choices, it was hard to choose. Usually when going out to eat, teenagers are discriminatied on. But Jesse gave great service to us despite our ages. Five out of five to Jesse!
Send time to Mimi’s Cafe, this time in Fort Worth. Has an excellent experience with tasty, hot food. Eva, our server, was wonderful and took great care of us.
Came for breakfast, there were 6 tables served and our waiter Jesse took care of every single table so well. We were impressed at how nice and attentive he was with every single table regardless what he had in his hands he made sure to check in with every single table accordingly. Great service 🙂
Maritza was our server and she was awesome got the mimosa flight which was very delightful! I also got crab cakes as an appetizer And I got the chorizo omelet. Everything was hot and delicious! I highly recommend this place and I will be back to try other dishes.
Food and service was great. Brianna was a wonderful waitress. She was very attentive and sweet. The blueberry muffin was bussington. Will definitely be back.
Maritza was fabulous. The seating is comfy, the food is well made, and my family loved having lunch here. Highly recommend for those that want a menu with variety and quality.
Went to Mimi's Cafe in Fort Worth for the 1st time. We started off with birria croquettes which were delicious! Then for main course, the wife had the Dubai chocolate pancakes and I had the Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles. We both enjoyed our entrees. We also added a chai apple spiced muffin which came out so warm and the cinnamon butter made it so good. The server was incredibly sweet. We would definitely recommend this establishment!
We had breakfast and Brianna was our server. She did an amazing job. She was courteous nice and very sweet. And very professional. The food was amazing. We will definitely come back for the pot.Pies.
My 5 stars are for the food and menu. They have a great menu with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All the choices range from great to excellent. I'd call it upscale home cooking, with some very interesting seasonal choices that are definitely worth checking out. Last time I was there they seemed short handed, but who isn't these days. It was still a great experience and great food.
This was our 2nd visit to a Mimi’s Cafe. Both were in the DFW area. We were not disappointed. The service is always delivered with a smile and suggestion’s are provided if asked. The food is delicious and presentation lovely. It was a tad cold in the building and distracted from my enjoyment of my meal. The temperature inside also caused our food to get cold quickly so we had to request it be microwaved.
Went there this past Sunday with the whole family, as we arrived they greeted us and seated us right away . Our waitress was very kind and friendly but unfortunately I don’t remember her name (Hispanic young lady). she brought our order and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fresh and delicious. My favorite was the onion soup. Definitely a 5 star on this place. Clean area great atmosphere. Thank you
first time visiting ans absolutely loved everything about this place! the restaurant itself is unbelievably cute from the outside! and the inside is just as adorable. to me, this seemed like a little nicer version of la Madeline since its French inspired, but you're able to sit down and order. food was great! (eggs were a bit dry, but I dont really like eggs on the best of days) but great service and drinks as well
This was our first time eating here. We attended a birthday party in the private room. The private room was large to accommodate more than 100 people. Inside the room, they have a bar to serve. The decor is very comfortable and relaxing. Many different food options to choose from; breakfast to dinner. Many French cuisine dishes as well. The food was delicious. The prices are average prices compared to other similar restaurants. My family will return to try different plates.
I recently visited MiMi’s Cafe in Fort Worth after seeing it near my home and always wanting to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The parking was plentiful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming—perfect for a relaxing breakfast. I ordered the grilled peach griddle cakes with ham, scrambled cheese eggs, and a white peach iced tea, which had just the right amount of sweetness. Everything was delicious! My guest had the grilled peach French toast, which was also fantastic, paired with a mango mimosa that had a great balance of flavor and alcohol content. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you're looking for a cozy spot for breakfast away from home, I’d highly recommend MiMi’s Cafe!
I was served by Keenan and he was wonderful! Service is great and quick and the omelette was the best I’ve ever had in my life! Not exaggerating I got the bacon mushroom and Swiss omelette there was Brie cheese in it and it was so yummy! And he gave us free muffins!!! I ate that omelette up so I don’t have pictures but I do have a picture of the muffin it was delicious!!! The atmosphere was nice and friendly, very quaint.
Stopped in for a Sunday brunch. Immediately greeters when we entered and quickly seated. Jesse was our waiter and quickly attended to us and was happy, friendly, and helpful. We ordered a mocha and a traditional mimosa. Let me say, I’ve been sleeping on these mimosas - probably one of the better ones I’ve had for brunch, hands down. Orange juice was very fresh, not overly sweet and the champagne was on point, served in a mini bottle. Had to order two more, they were that good. We ordered the Classic Benedict and bacon avocado omelette (with peppers & onions added). I wanted a small side of French toast, however there is no “side” order of this, it would have been $13.99 according the our server. I thought this was unfortunate - I came hoping for plain French toast and not having that option that was an entire plate was disappointing Our food promptly came out with no issues. All in all, great service from our server and delicious food. Definitely will be back with the girls for brunch mimosas.
I highly recommend this location for all of your brunch needs! We arrived sometime around 11am on a weekday so there was no wait at all to be seated. Service was great. The wild berry lemonade was refreshing and sweet. The cinnamon roll French toast was so good. It was my first time trying two of my favorite things in one. Scramble eggs were cooked perfectly, creamy smooth and ribbon like. Bacon was crispy! The Quiche Florentine had such a buttery crust and filled with a fluffy mixture of eggs, cheese and spinach served with crispy breakfast potatoes. The red seasoning was my favorite, it tasted like Cajun spiced. Citrus Salmon was cooked very well. Love the balsamic vinaigrette with my strawberry summer salad. Will definitely visit again when I’m in the area.
Ethan made our experience at Mimi’s delightful. He provided excellent and quick service. The food was delicious and the French bistro vibes were refreshing. The appetizer sampler trio is a great selection. The spinach artichoke dip is a rich blend of cheese, spinach, and artichoke hearts baked and served hot. The chicken tenders are straight crispy and the black and blue quesadilla is a unique spin on a familiar classic. The French quarter burger is a delightful patty melt with the garlic Parmesan sourdough toast adding a great crunch to a classic dish.
I have been to Mimi’s near Phoenix AZ and they pay better attention to details with their food. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. One muffin side was toasted or grilled, one was not. The one that was toasted was cold. The potatoes were also cool. The blueberry muffin was good, I got that to go & ate it later. Staff was friendly. Coffee was fine.
Review made immediately after finishing the meal. Date and time for if management see the review. The hostess made the nastiest scowl for interrupting her playing on her phone. No greeting, nothing. I haven't felt like an inconvenience like that very often. It set the expectations extremely low. Fortunately, my waitress was superb, the food was fast, and delicious. Worth the money and turned the entire trip around for me. Of course on my way out, the hostess was back at it on her phone and didn't even spare a glance to anyone or anything. I really want to give it five stars but that was a pretty grim introduction to the bistro.
It was my first time eating here. I love the time we went because it was very mellow to have a good conversation with friends and the food was really good a bit pricey but I enjoyed spending time with my friends there and the waiter was very patient and nice! Well worth the price.
It was a little afternoon on Feb 27th that I went to Mimi’s. There were few customers present and only one waitress that I saw on duty. I ordered the French toast and coffee. After a while the order came out. It looked very good, however the French toast was barely warm while the sausage was hot. Even though part of the meal was barely warm it was flavorful. I suspect the French toast had been prepared and allowed to cool while the sausage was being cooked. I did mention to the waitress the French toast would have been better if it had been hot. This was the only time that I have been served a meal that wasn’t hot at Mimi’s.
I always wanted to go to this place but they closed so many locations that I'd have to end up in Denver airport (just a guess) to actually go here ....
Food came out fast, but was pretty plain. The interior is nice and we were seated right away for Sunday brunch, but the lack of flavor was disappointing, especially compared to other Mimi's Cafes we have been to. The peach mimosa and potatoes were good though. I would not recommend the French dip sandwich because it is below subpar. Instead, I would recommend the half sandwich and French onion soup.
Service was good but atmosphere feels like a "Frenched up" Dennys. Baked goods are great, muffins and croissants.
All the employees were friendly & super helpful. As I walked in, I noticed the environment was comfortable and relaxing. My to-go order was not ready on time. As I waited for my order, I looked over the entire menu. My eggs benedict was pretty good, I decided to go with the hickory-smoked ham. It came with a very small number of roasted potatoes. I enjoyed the pain perdu with mixed berries. It includes stuffed brioche French toast filled with orange marmalade and cream cheese blend topped with fresh berries and strawberry purée. I’m still not sure why I had so much butter in with my eggs benedict. I would have rather had more roasted potatoes included in my order. Also, I would have liked some powdered sugar which goes on top of the French toast. I'm glad I gave Mimi's a try; however, it is not a place I care to go back to.
So it was 2 pm on Sunday. I had just finished a job I was scheduled to do in the area and was hungry. I began to look for places to eat nearby and was excited to see that there was a Mimi’s very close to me. In addition, a 20% off coupon popped up with a code for me to use and that clinched the deal. I headed off and soon arrived at the restaurant. The hostess seated me quickly and I began to browse the menu when the waitress arrived to take my order. She introduced herself as what sounded like “Andy” but I am not sure I heard correctly. I ordered my beverage and told her that I would be ready to order when she returned with it. True to my word, when she returned with my drink and a glass of water, I was ready to order but she said “You’ll have to wait. I have to deliver some food first.” So I waited and enjoyed my beverage while I watched the other diners. When the waitress returned, I showed her the 20% off coupon on my phone and she carefully wrote down the code…even repeating it back to me. I then ordered the “Mimi's Mix & Match Quartet” for which my selections were the Turkey Royale Half Sandwich, the Cup of Corn Chowder, the Bacon Bleu Cheese Petite Salad and the Strawberry Cheesecake Parfait, plus a bread basket. She wrote down my order and left. Within a minute or two she brought my bread basket and left again. In a while, a man I hadn’t seen before brought all of my food to me except my dessert. He said my dessert would be right out and I told him it was okay. That I preferred to have it at the end of my meal with a cup of coffee. He left me to enjoy my food. The food was superb just like always and tasted exactly like I remembered it tasting in California. While I was eating, I watched my waitress as she took the orders for 3 tables near and around me. She brought their drinks and then their food. I half expected her to come by at least once to see if I needed anything but she never did. I enjoyed every morsel of the sandwich, soup and salad, and was looking forward to the dessert and coffee. I finished my meal and still my waitress didn’t come to my table. After what seemed like an eternity, she came to my table and asked if I was ready for my check. I told her “No, I am ready for my desert”. She said, “Oh, didn’t they tell you we are out of that dessert”. I am thinking “which they?” but replied, “No, no one told me” to which she replied bluntly, “Well, we are”. I am not sure why the way she replied back to me made me angry but it did. I was also angry that SHE had not had the courtesy to come let me know and ask if I would like to make another selection so that it could have been brought to me just as I finished the first part of my meal. I told her to just adjust my order to the “Mimi’s Mix & Match Trio” and bring me my check. She returned shortly with my check which I paid without examining it closely, still dealing with my anger about how I had been treated. I toyed with the idea of not leaving her a tip but being raised in a café myself, I couldn’t bring myself to not do so. I added my typical 20% and got up and left to head home. I was about 10 miles away when I remembered the 20% discount coupon and looked at my receipt which revealed that she had not applied the 20% discount to my bill. Added to how I was already feeling, this made me furious but it wasn’t worth driving back 10 miles and then retracing my route another 10 miles which would add 20 miles to my trip so I just continued towards home. The food I ordered during this dining experience was delicious but shadowed by the horrible service I received. I won’t stop eating a Mimi’s Restaurants, but I probably won’t ever go back to eat at this one.
My experience wasn't so great like the table next to us. We felted rushed. She didnt give us a warm greeting. She never checked back with us after we got our food, if she had, she would have known I didnt like my food. She dropped the check down even with our plates in front of us. My bf was still eating and my plate was full ! ( that's rude) She came back a few minutes later and grabbed the book and I told her we haven't looked at it yet, he is still eating. We will not come back. I will not mention her name but she knows her service was terrible! One more thing your flight mimosas isn't worth it.
The omelet and coffee were good but that's where I stop. The toast wasn't even warm enough to melt the soft butter. The potatoes were barely warm. The server was unpleasant and tried to push a muffin with my meal and when I said I just wanted toast she rattled off some rehearsed statement about the bread being a frozen product and not fresh like the muffins. I ordered orange juice and water, I was not asked what size oj I wanted, she brought a large. I was given 1 straw and no extra napkins. The shorter male host was at the front when I left and he just stared at me and didn't comment. I'm not paying $27 for an omelet and dismal service again.
This place has really changed. Food quality and service has really gone down. Food taste is not quality at all. Bread was free before, now there is a charge. Fish was terrible, hard frozen taste. Only good thing was French onion soup and even that was seriously lacking. Building is rough and dirty. On a Saturday night at 7 there were only 3 other tables seated. Seems no one likes this place any more. Wait staff is very old and frail. Overall bad experience. Food looks good, tastes bad.
The people were awesome. But the food was horrible! My half chicken had zero flavor and my wife had the cheddar Mac. It was the exact opposite of my issue. But not in a good way. Now my Dad had a chicken pot pie. He loved every bite. My Mom cleaned her plate as well. So it was a 50/50.
I went in for brunch the other day and our waitress seemed bothered by us soon as we walked through the door. She wasn’t welcoming and we didn’t enjoy our service. Didn’t ask for refills and all we had was water to drink. I also asked for turkey sausage and it seemed questionable as if it was pork, so I double checked and that for sure added fuel to the fire. We were constantly hovered over and when she brought the ticket she just stood there like we had no choice but to pay right then. This is why some people choose to take things to go, so you’re not basically forced to tip people that don’t deserve it.
Visiting Fort Worth. Never been here before and sure won't ever again. Overpriced food. Crepes were rubbery, pancakes had canned apples, home fries were rubbery, ate half and asked for the check, should have eaten the hotel breakfast and saved $100 bucks
They do not have a lot of the items available on the menu and refuse any substitutions to any dish making the ordering experience an exhausting guessing game for horribly overpriced dinner food. I left aggravated, disappointed, and dissatisfied.
Was very disappointed in the service and the food. (Went there for a meeting)If I have a choice I would definitely not go back there. Something so simple, tasted like freezer burnt leftovers 🥶😞!
Visited Mimi's today for the first time in a while and we were completely disappointed. The food, even the dessert was just bland...NO FLAVOR!!! It's like the chef used his own recipes and forgot to add seasoning. Unless Mimi's has changed all of their recipes. The waitress was nice, but she had a table right next to ours and didn't really bother to make eye contact, not to mention failing to check on us. IF YOU'RE GOING TO GO HERE, YOU BETTER LEAVE YOUR EXPECTATIONS AT THE DOOR...OR JUST DON'T GO.
I was soooo excited to revisit MiMi's since they reopened. This use to be my spot! I ordered the Birra Omelet and my husband ordered the waffles. My Omelet came with the country potatoes which I love. When we recorded our food it was room temperature. 😕 It was not busy so I do not understand why the food would come out cold. The Omelet had flavor but again it was not hot. They offered to take it back to nuke it but I was hungry and turned down the offer. If you pay for food, it should come out right the first time. I am soooo disappointed 😞
Myself & 2 of my friends visited the Mimi’s Cafe off of SW Loop 820 in Ft Worth, TX on Sunday, 10-19-25. We all ate at lunch time at this location. Our server, Maritza was really good. Although she told us she was a new server, she did pretty good. She was open & honest about her time working there and was honest about her mistakes. She actually entered mine and one of my friends selections incorrectly into the system. She entered it as a Sweet Glazed Salmon instead of the Citrus Salmon. In doing so, she came back to have us select two sides for our meal. We shouldn’t have gotten the sides with the Citrus Salmon but she entered it that way. She came back to apologize for the mistake later. My friend selected mashed potatoes and a side salad. She was told that it would be an up charge of $1.99 for the salad. When we received our meals we didn't get the slices of citrus fruit, so she had to go back to the kitchen to have them get it for us. The assistant manager is the one who brought it out and she had an attitude when she dropped them off. When we received our tickets we were charged for the Sweet Glazed Salmon instead of the Citrus Salmon. (Which was $4-5 dollars more) Our server had her manager fix our tickets. Upon checking our tickets my friends was still wrong and she was charged $3.99 for the side salad, that was supposed to be $1.99 (she shouldn’t have even gotten the salad with the salmon that we ordered). It was a huge mess & the store Asst Manager was RUDE & VERY DISRESPECTFUL with my friend. She rolled her eyes at my friend and argued with her about the issue. My friend asked for the store manager. He was very helpful and respectful!! With all of the trouble we both had, any other restaurant would have comped both of our meals!! On top of ALL OF THIS…my salmon was under cooked, basically raw in the middle. I ended up throwing up and have loose bowels two hours after I got home. I WILL NOT be returning to any Mimi’s Cafe in the future. I just wanted people to know about this horrible experience!! Cheryl Feild
We visited Mimi’s for Father’s Day brunch and left grossed out, sadly. The waitress was very nice and friendly, and the food was good. But we were surrounded by gnats. We let our waitress know and they said “sorry” with muffins. For a nearly $90 brunch for two, I was expecting more of an apology from the management without any laughs or giggles. In the mirror, it may seem like smudges ( as I first thought) but no. Not smudges or specks but gnats… all over the mirror.
