I had a great experience at Rio Mambo. The atmosphere is beautiful and very pleasant. When we visited, there were several celebrations happening, which made the place feel lively and fun. The Tex-Mex food was absolutely delicious. The margarita I had was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the flavor of the food was excellent. I really liked this place and would definitely come back.
I started with the guacamole which was tasty. Then had the salmon for dinner. That was phenomenal!! I also had 2 prickly pear margaritas which were fabulous! My server was new but she was absolutely friendly and helpful.
This is my go to spot. BEST MARGARITAS HANDS DOWN! Linda /Chris /& Allejandria are great! They give the best customer service & ensure we are taken care of. We met Tonya the new manager and she was so nice! Linda is immaculate at naking sure we have all we need and it’s made right. She is very personable & recommend great menu items. She has turned me on to so many drink options & food items. We love it here! Best nights are Thurs -Sat nights.

They went above and beyond attentive, friendly, and made the BEST drinks! 🍹👏 You can truly tell when someone loves what they do, and it showed in every interaction. The drinks were perfectly made, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and we never had to wait for anything. William was an amazing server!! We had 24 people and he didn't skip a beat! The food was the best, others in the group that had never been here before just loved it! I’ve been here multiple times and each time they never disappoint. Great staff each time, very personable. Management is great too, Dave and Arlene are very caring not only about their staff, but everyone that walks in. Definitely recommend
I like Rio Mambo! I usually hit up the Weatherford location but we tried the Fort Worth location for dinner tonight. Food was fantastic and served fairly quickly. Had a couple of drinks that were great and the atmosphere was awesome! Judging by the food pics we didn't like anything here.... 👍👍
Our server Stephanie was so patient & kind, allowed 3 old college roommates to just chat & catch up without rushing us! We had the pescado tacos, trio, & burrito (it was giant!). Everything was hot, fresh, & exactly like we ordered. Will be back for sure!
I have been to multiple mexican restaraunts in the Ft.Worth area. Rio has by far become my favorite place. The ambiance is slightly upscale, yet comfortable and fun. The service was impeccable, and the prices represent the quality of the delicious culinary fare. Definitely on my " will be back " list

Food is always great. The service is also always great. Very good atmosphere. Chris the bartender is one of the best in the business. He cuts up and has great banter with everyone, and makes everyone feel like they are special. Plus, I think my brother might have a crush on him. Lol
Me and my daughter went to try out the lunch specials. Walking in, it was a cool atmosphere and staff was welcoming. We sat in the bar area and had one of the best servers in a long time. She was amazing. She had the whole bar to herself, and managed it all like a pro. I wish I got her name to give her a shout out. The food was really good and very filling. Nice portions and of course chips and salsa. I loved the salsa, it had a little kick to it. We got two different kinds of enchiladas and both were great! We will definitely be back and try happy hour next!
Very tasty Tex-Mex! Cool and casual atmosphere but still upscale. Plenty of seating at the bar and no wait for a table. The chicken tacos were excellent!
- Update 5/4/2024 - This place has definitely gone downhill. We came in for lunch, and the food was extremely bland. Bathrooms were extremely slippery with no caution sign. - Original review - Olivia E is a very nice and great waitress. She informed me of the different items on the large menu. She recommended to me the Holbrooks (cheese enchilada topped with two eggs, beef/chicken, avocado, rice and beans). It was delicious - the beef and chicken were so tender. Will be back for sure. There is a slight kick to the salsa, but not too much heat.
My son chose this restaurant for his birthday and he did WELL. Another reason to love him lol. We LOVE Mexican food and had never tried here but time we walked in we knew right away we had walked into somewhere special. The hostess that greeted us was enthusiastic and I wish I remembered our server's name but she was such an asset to the company and made us feel really like we were right at home. AMAZING service. The food was as it looks on the pictures. SCRUMPTIOUS! My son and I had to stop each other from looking like hillbillies scarfing down our food like the last meal smh. Can't wait to go back.
Considering this is the first restaurant I was able to have a sit down meal with friends in a few months it was truly great. Great service from Jack our waiter and great suggestions for ordering and accommodating our needs and requests. Salsa was excellent, but they really need better chips. The food was very flavorful and tasty and my steak was done perfectly. This place was truly a cut above with high end modern styling. If given the opportunity I would most definitely be back again!

Got there right before 6 so technically it was still happy hour. But we were charged full price for drinks 😞 Food was good. Steak fajitas were tasty but if you want sour cream or cheese, really? The place is nice. Large and accommodated out party no problem. Food is great, drinks great, most of the staff good. We will return and look forward to our next party at Rio Mambo.

Atmosphere was decent we sat on the patio service was extremely slow. I don’t know if I’d ever go back paid $12 for a tiny margarita that was frozen. Paid $16 for an enchilada plate which came with two enchiladas. So for that, my meal came through $30 and my food was warm. i’ve had better other location.
Driving by and decided to give Rio Mambo's happy hour a try. It was not bad but not great. The margaritas, prices, and service for HH were good but the food was just ok. All of the food was really pretty bland. We tried the queso, flautas, and cheese quesadilla. The flautas were light on the chicken and no seasoning. The cheese quesadilla was just boring. The rest of their food may be better but I was not impressed with the HH offerings.
Haven't been to this one in years. The location i used to frequent more often in Arlington shut down years ago. Decided to visit this location as I was out in this area. Man things have changed and not in a good way. What happened? Food just wasn't as good as I remembered. There was a table of us. Some items bland, some were so salty and sadly our waiter wasn't good. Kept passing our table up. Didn't respond to my concerns so I spoke to the manager instead and he was more receptive.
I was in the area so I stopped here to eat. No wait on a Friday night, was seated immediately. Server was polite, professional and did her best to answer my questions about the menu. The food was mid at best, and portions were not quite satisfying. Also, $4 for seltzer water is a ripoff. Even though the server did their best to make it a nice experience the food, which was the main attraction, was not worth a repeat and so I won't be going back.
Went for Happy Hour. Margaritas are tasty but not very strong. Happy Hour food menu could be improved. Not much to chose from and portions are small. Ordered the Flaunta Martini and it literally came with 2 whole taquitos cut in half to make 4 small ones. The real plus is the chips and salsa. Very flavorful!

Went there as they used to have enchalida special Tuesday. Guy behind bar very matter of factly said they stopped that a while back then handed us menu where cheapest thing was $15.99. Sorry.
Where to start, I'll start with first impressions. Upon first arriving into the establishment. Tables seem clean, the lighting is low, and soothing Spanish music was flowing throughout the restaurant. Low enough to be able to enjoy company. Gave me high hopes. Drinks were ordered as we paroosed the menu with noooo prices. My colleagues mostly got sweet tea and reported that it is too sweet for their taste. I sampled the "hot" salsa with the lightly salted chips. The salsa was too sweet with very little flavoring. I made my order and requested Jalapenos, for which the waiter mumbled a no to my request. The food did come out quickly. One of my colleagues received her soup with her spoon covered in food. The flauntas were too hard with little flavor. A little bit of back pepper and salt helped with the rest of my meal, though Jalapenos would have been better.
Very disappointed! I love this place and have been here regularly for over 10 years. New ownership made big changes and cut the menu size in half - took off all the delicious unique plates and redid “new” options. Honestly this just taste and feels like every other average tex Mex joint now - service is still great though. They didn’t even have the music playing To new owners- PLEASE bring back the old menus and queso and vibe that we loved for 10 years. Update - went back and tried again - still no improvement. Is there anyone from new management who can provide an update on fixing all the complaints on the new menu and bring back at least some of the old plates that were offered??? Doesn’t seem like anyone cares this place is being run down. Can you put some effort into making this restaurant rating 5 stars again?
The drinks were good, the food was not. We went with a party of 14 and nearly everyone said their food was bad. The beef enchiladas literally had canned red sauce on them. Beef fajita nachos were cut with the grain and super tough. Service was good and so we're the drinks but we won't come back to this location.
Wasn't happy with them. They used to be really great. My to go to place for nachos. Size went down price went up. They tried to make us happy with buying us off with next time you come in here is free stuff. Surprise to them there won't be a next time. I found a better to go to place lower prices larger quantity of food of the same quality.
