Everything was sooo amazing! The waiter was so funny and friendly. The cashier was wonderful as well and helped when we needed it. The FOOOOODDD was perfection. I had the Lamb Masala and my husband had the Curry Goat! Of course the Naan bread was perfection
Chicken tikka kabab was juicy and grilled just right. Veg biryani was aromatic with well-cooked rice. Overall taste and quality were consistent.
Food feels freshly prepared. Chicken 65 boneless biryani was something different and tasty. Staff explained menu patiently.
Shri Foods truly feels like a premium dining experience. I ordered the vegetarian thali along with saag paneer, and every item tasted fresh and well-prepared. The dal fry and chana masala had authentic home-style flavors. The owner personally interacts with customers and is very honest and respectful. Quality and consistency here are impressive.
Shri Foods serves one of the best Samosa Chana Chaat I’ve had in Texas. The flavors were perfectly balanced, not too spicy, not too mild. Finished with Puran Poli and mango lassi. Staff behavior was respectful and professional. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality.
Shri Foods serves amazing Pav Bhaji. Pineapple kesari was fragrant and sweet. Sugarcane juice tasted freshly pressed. The owner personally greeted guests which felt welcoming. Overall excellent experience.
Hariyali chicken kabab stood out with its fresh green marinade. Dal fry tasted like true comfort food. The location in the Woodland Springs area is easy to find. Parking is convenient as well. Very suitable for families.
The tandoori chicken was grilled perfectly, not dry at all. Dal fry on the side was simple but very satisfying. The owner is welcoming and treats customers with respect. You can tell they do not compromise on quality. This place is a hidden gem in the area.
Tried Haryali Chicken Kabab and it was outstanding. Puran Poli and pineapple kesari were both delicious. The owner is very humble and handles customers respectfully. Great family spot.
Butter chicken and mutton curry both had a comforting, homemade feel. The gravies were rich but not heavy. The owner is very polite and respectful toward customers. Staff is cooperative and helpful with menu guidance. A great spot for regular visits.
Had a great experience at Shri Foods. The food tasted fresh and flavorful, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a nice spot to enjoy a satisfying meal I’d be happy to come back again.
I visited mainly for the mutton (goat) biryani and it exceeded expectations. The meat was tender and the spices were well balanced. The environment is clean and family-friendly. Staff members were polite and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.
Haryali Chicken Kabab had excellent flavor and tenderness. Puran Poli was soft and fresh. The owner seems very sincere and customer focused. Service was quick and organized. Overall a very satisfying visit.
We had a wonderful family meal at Shri Foods – Indian Kitchen. Authentic Indian flavors, good quantity, and very welcoming staff. One of the best Indian restaurants in the area.
We tried Appam today. It was so good, she made specially for us. The taste of Appam was great. It came with korma and coconut milk. The other food we ordered was also good. All the food we ordered was hot and fresh. Great hospitality
I was there yesterday ( Thursday) to take advantage of unlimited dosa night. I had a great experience from the staff who is very attentive and made my experience really enjoyable. I will be back there soon to enjoy lunch buffet.
Today i visited Shree foods for my lunch. Here is my honest review of buffet that was started by Shree foods a week ago. With sensitive tummy, i am forced to be choosy yet i can't resist myself from trying new food. Every item in their buffet today hit the right spot of spice level and balance of taste, i noticed few great points 1) Steel plates instead of paper plates and small cups instead of big ones. As a core andhra person, dine in on steel plates gives me home feeling. I usually follow this in my home for any gathering. 2) Every bite showed its freshness. 3) Vegetable thalapakattu biryani (similar to dundigal biryani in karnataka made of seeragasamba rice) is eye catchy today. In my 10 years of stay in US, i haven't seen anyone doing this in vegetarian option. Because of my vegetarian husband, i do this in my home all the time. 4) Even after having heavy meal, i still feel light on my tummy. I usually try food outside when i am bored of my own cooking or tight schedule. Overall, their food in new ambience gave me right at home experience. I can strongly suggest this restaurant to anyone who wants to try thali or buffet.
Food: Awesome taste and they have started a buffet as well. All the items in the buffet is very good and I like the taste. Service: Owners are very customer friendly and service was awesome. Atmosphere: They renovated the ambience and they have more tables and they have live banana tree in summer and if you would like to have a meal in banana leaf, they will cut it fresh and serve you. I had that experience it was very nice. Over all everything is awesome !!!
Dined here while on travel from Austin, recommended indian restaurant in Fortworth.Couldn't thank enough on hospitality and the food. While in dinner, had mysore masala dosa, pepper idli and podimas ,it was good. Would suggest thali as lunch option while in here. They also sell snacks- Ribbon pakoda, poondhi,Laddu, murukku. Like to visit next time as well.
We recently turned Vegan and were excited to find Shri foods restaurant right in our neighborhood offering vegetarian food. The menu was very helpful being marked vegetarian and non vegetarian. I asked about oil added to the food and the nice lady taking our order said they would make my dal without it. Huge portions for the price too. This is in the Village of Woodland Springs subdivision so all the neighbors should get out and support this small business. My daughter had the curried chicken and she loved it. We left happy and full. The staff was very friendly, we will be regular customers in the future. Oh my husband loved the Samosas. Yummy! The restaurant was very clean and the stainless steel plates the food was served was spotless. Go and try them out you won't be disappointed or leave hungry.
This Restaurant is mostly online and takeout orders. There are tables and chairs in the Restaurant, so if you want to eat in, you have to order at the counter then take it to your table to eat. So there is no waiter service. The food is very tasty and the portions are reasonable size. Surprising not very spicy for Indian food. There is a Chinese-food influence for some items on the menu. Like Fried Rice and Chowmein. I gave it a Five Star mainly for the food.
I recently visited for the lunch buffet, and unfortunately the overall experience and ambience did not meet expectations. I would be glad to share some suggestions that might help improve the dining experience if you’re open to feedback.
I was really disappointed with my recent order. The food was not fresh and lacked flavor. The portions were not worth the price, and the presentation was very poor. I had high expectations, but the overall experience was far below average. Unfortunately, I won’t be recommending this place unless things get better.
Giving one star ( As nothing less than that) . Recommended not go there as it’s totally wasted of money They gave half cooked chapati and curry and after complaining about food ,service person giving attitude like we are eating as Free of cost. Please spend your money wisely
What a waste of money. The owners are so rude. The mutton Biriyani I ordered was tasteless and did not have the mutton pieces. There were just leftover chunks of mutton in the Biriyani. There was another instance when my wife and her friends visited this place. They ordered few dosas. During mid eating , they felt need of more chutneys and when she went to the counter for the chutneys, they lady owner bluntly refused to give extra chutneys and moreover she was very rude. I am just wondering how they are getting rating above 2. May be paid reviews from family and friends.
The food was absolutely tasteless. The sambar was watered down. Very small portions. I was asked to patronize the lunch buffet but after this horrible experience I don't think I will.
Visited this place today for dinner with my daughter and had a very disappointing and concerning experience. We ordered two dosas, and one of them had a large piece of plastic inside it, which I only noticed while chewing. I brought it to the owner’s attention, but he simply gave a cold shrug with no apology or concern. Because of this, we couldn’t eat either dosa and decided to leave immediately. Despite that, the owner still charged us for the other dosa we didn’t eat, which felt extremely unfair and unprofessional. Overall, very poor service, unsafe food handling, and no accountability. I definitely won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place.
Worst restaurant ever! I can’t believe I wasted $100 here — not even six proper items, and every single thing was awful.Waste of money — absolutely disgusting and unhygienic! The mango lassi tasted like some cheap powdered mix, and the rice was stale. Nothing tasted fresh, nothing felt homemade, and everything screamed fake. They have the nerve to call this “home-cooked food”? What a joke. Complete rip-off and a total nightmare of a meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone — not even for free!
Would really appreciate the owner replying on this review .Me, my wife and our child was there today at their Keller TX location on Sunday, September 14 2025. for lunch. Worst tasting Indian food I have had in my 30 years living in the DFW area. We ordered a simple Masala Dosa, onion chili uthappam and aloo puri sabzi and custard apple and a Chiku milkshake. This is probably the worst tasting horrible Indian food I’ve had in my last 30 years living in the Dallas Fortworth area. Even my 4-year-old made an ugly vomiting face when we try to feed him their food . Completely tasteless bland food . Sad that such a restaurant exists in our beloved Keller .They don’t offer coconut chutney with their masala dosa or utappams. . The Subzi for the aloo puri subzi was the filling which goes in masala dosas !!!! I would not even call it Indian cuisine honestly. We should’ve guessed this place has horrible food as we were the only customers on a Sunday lunch day!!!. My total bill was 47.47 or so with a tip of 10% totaling to $52.47 or so. The customer has to pick the food himself from where their payment counter is. There was no service of any kind and they have the audacity to ask for a tip at the checkout consol at the time of checkout!!!! still, money was not the issue. I have no clue why this place is in business. Please do not go there and waste your hard earned or even easily earned money. The girls who work there don’t even bother to ask you how their food is or anything, not even the owner who was sitting there bothered to ask us if we like the food or not but out of pity I paid them. A Masaladosa./ Uthappam and Aloo Puri are very simple to make dishes and. If you cannot make them even edible, I would be very apprehensive trying anything else in the restaurant. If the owner wants to confirm all this with me do reply back, I will gladly share my phone number. Just an honest review . Not looking for a refund just need to stop people from wasting their time and money at this place.
