Maybe I'm a little partial because it's my local Starbucks. To know them on a personal level and have them recognize your voice in the Drive-Thru really means something when you go to a coffee place.

Love how fast this particular Starbucks is! Most of the time if Im running a little late and there is a line at other places I have to pass on stopping, but here even if there are 4 cars ahead of me I know it will be less than 5 minutes. Each car is at the window for less than 30 seconds, just enough for a friendly hello and you're off to where you need to go!

I normally wouldn't give Starbucks a full five, but this Starbucks has staff that make it so. Working the day before, and Halloween, they are one of the happiest, most customer service focused, and efficient teams I've seen. They are always courteous, help me with anything I've needed despite using up a lot of table time, it's been slow though, and always seem to be busy cleaning or improving the store. Starbucks doesn't get the five stars necessarily, but this crew definitely does. Keep up the great work! Especially the warm gentleman who seemed to be taking the lead.

Greatest Staff ever woman power finally! some diverse genders. Great staff members such as Cassie, Fran, Pan, Amanda. Helpful and willing to do their best under pressure with drive thru and all. Great location highly recommend it.

Always nice an quick never a long line. The offer free Internet an have great employees an coffee isent an arm an leg, the offer great breakfast sandwichs also if it not just into coffee or iced drinks great to bring the kids for smoothies.

Love this store over all the other Starbucks in the area. Been going to the Fortuna store for years. Most all the employees knows me by name. I love going into the store and hear good morning Desi. I'm almost always with my bestie and when I happen to go by myself they all get worried about why she isn't with me. Which is pretty funny to me. I wish I could afford to go down to Fortuna everytime I get Starbucks.

I've always enjoyed the ambience of this Starbucks. There's a lot of coming and going folks - many local, some from faraway, considering the big sign on the freeway. There's a large outside patio, covered, and surrounded with a wall. It's pretty kewl. The accommodations within are more ample than most. Friendly, competent staff and quick service, but it's only open till 9pm... Really? I'm gonna give em five stars anyway. ⭐✨⭐

Always great customer service. The drinks can get pricey, but that's the trend these days. Bits a nice treat, not a daily thing. The staff are always cheerful

To be so early in the morning you figure they have more of an attitude but they never do...normally ladies when I get to order off my phone and they're great many a times like pay with my card or using the app I don't have cash or forget to bring cash so I try to tip them... But I'll come back another time and remember and give them a nice tip

Service has not been as quick as it was when a particular guy worked there in the mornings, but my food and Coffee always comes out spot on. There is no option to select for drive thru. My encounters are always through the drive thru.

This place has been our go to since we drive between Oregon and California a lot , the best part for us is that they open at 5 am or 4:30 am I think .

I did a mobile order and picked up in the driveway. When I got to the speaker they recognized my order and had me pull up. I was greeted with a smile and given my coffee. Can't complain about any of that. 😊

A Starbucks in fortuna?! I'll bet that city council meeting was hilariously contentious. It might be the busiest business in tuna town. The staff are super dialed and fast. It's fun to wave to the folks in their vehicles in the drive through when you walk in and then wave to them again when you walk out with your coffee. Gonna get their frappicino with extra whip and not leave their cars, 'murica!! Nice place, clean. It's an sbux what do you expect?

The nicest people work here. We have stopped by several times during our visit for our Starbucks fix and what great service, beverages and food. The breakfast sandwiches are heated perfectly, and the drinks exactly as ordered. A nice stop in Fortuna and a top rated Starbucks location. Highly recommended.

Amazing staff. Love certain people on certain crews. Between 9am-2pm the people who make my drinks are amainggg. Exactly what I want the sweetness and all. Anytime I went after those times my drinks weren't so great but the crew is still AMAZINGG!

Stopped in for basic tea with equal sweetener. They don't have equal, only raw sugar. Had to go to safeway down the road to buy my own equal. Seriously? Every Starbucks I've ever been in has equal. Except this one

OK inside. Usually a bit chaotic though. The patio could be better. Always cold. Could use plexi glass in the openings. But would need to be cleaned up. Old papers etc on the ground the tables and chairs are all shoved up against the walls. Not very inviting. And never any dark roast drip!

I usually have the quickest service here, but recently the newer baristas are rude and inconsiderate. They are already out of lunch foods, and general items on their menu. Their hours are inconsistent, and they don’t follow through with cooperate regs.

One of the gentleman wouldn' warm my lemon pound cake up after asking several times, he did state the icing would no longer be on tge cake (though already aware) I informed him I was aware and it usually happens when I have it warmed, yet he continued to refuse to warm it "Customer Service"

After purchasing and finishing some coffee, I approached the counter for a free refill as advertised, 2 employees looked right at me, there was not anyone waiting for their drinks or anything, but I was still BLATANTLY IGNORED! I cant help but feel like the reason is that I appear to be 'homeless'. Im not. I am a regular, cash paying customer of Starbucks, in many states.... never been treated this way otherwise. Sat 10/18/25 7:20 am. Ill spend my cash on gas station coffee before I visit this SB's location again!!

I have made two mobile orders this far. Both on Saturdays as we have soccer in Fortuna. Once early. Before 10am. Extremely busy, mobile orders wee completely ignored. We all finally got frustrated and had to tell the employees our orders after waiting 15 min without anyone checking with us. I finally waved the employees down and then it was chaos once everyone in the mobile order area realized their orders were not being worked on… Second time was mid afternoon, 3 pm. Nobody inside some cars in the drive thru. Food came out right when the mobile app said so. I had finished my sandwich when an employee asked if I had drinks too… 😂 they began working gin my 2 drinks, after one drink is completed, employee stops and takes a walk in order, then another. The person who walked up and ordered receives their drink while I wait. At this point it is now 15 minutes past when I got my food. I stand directly in front of counter and stare upset. They ask did you have another drink order? 😂 the employees have no idea what’s going on. It was a second employee who finally made the drink and literally threw the straw across the counter at me. So now I’m the bad guy for being completely forgotten about twice, finally the situation more serious and their are mad at me… I don’t think these people want to work here..

Went to go get a coffee Thursday April 11th around 12:15pm and my total was 8.20 for my coffee and I gave 9.00 and this lady didn’t even give me my change back and just put it in her tip jar without even asking and I didn’t want to tip her . Pretty much stealing my money .

Staff was incompetent. Took 35 minutes to get to the drive thru window, then they gave me a drink that was not even close to what I ordered. The inept staff member at the window continued to wipe her running nose before serving me incorrect item after incorrect item. I managed to eventually sit and wait out and receive a drink that was made wrong. Being pissed off for waiting 49 minutes total, I left. Completely astonished by this as I give this company too much money weekly.

Ordered a caramel macchiato with whipped cream and extra caramel drizzle on top. Received what tasted like a plain latte. No caramel flavoring, no whipped cream. No extra drizzle on top. Very disappointing when you are traveling and it’s the first Starbucks you’ve come across.

Fortuna Starbucks is absolutely the worst one out of all of Humboldt. The music is so uncomfortably loud inside it feels like you're in a night club. The staff is absolutely not friendly and just not a good atmosphere unfortunately. The 4 of us walked in and were never once smiled at, looked at, greeted or even treated like a customer while we looked at the menu to order. The music was so ridiculously loud we couldn't hardly talk to each other so we just left and went to Shotz instead

This is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The staff here act like taking your order is a personal inconvenience. The drinks are shoddily made too—today I barely got any ice in my drink. Go to any other Starbucks if you have the choice.

This morning I visited Starbucks and had a disappointing experience. My order total was shown as a little over $10, but when I tapped to pay, I was charged more than what was displayed. I asked the cashier if she rang me up for someone else’s order, since the price didn’t match. On top of that, I noticed I was not given the chance to select my own tip amount—the device was not handed to me to enter it myself. Then I overheard the manager say, “Oh, she doesn’t want to give a tip.” I found this very unprofessional. A tip should always be my choice, not something added without my consent. Customers deserve transparency and respect, not to be made to feel uncomfortable over something like this.

Prime example why I choose to not get coffee from any location more and more. Leave your customers sitting in the drive thru line for five minutes without any acknowledgement? With nobody in front of us? Same with going inside. The employees are more focused on mobile orders than the people sitting in line. I'll stick to the local shops from now on.

I guess it's just a common pattern of customers being blatantly ignored when standing in line here, because I waited for a couple of minutes right in front of the register and made direct eye contact with two employees who just quickly walked away instead. Bizarre. Ended up not ordering and going to Dutch instead.
