Love love this authentic Chinese Restaurant which also serves authentic Lao and Thai food!! After their recent remodel, they have a very nice atmosphere too! Our family eats here at least twice a week and we order takeout too! I recommend you try this place out for your next lunch or family dinner! -Lucky

We were craving Chinese food for dinner last night, and after looking around, we settled for Hunan's. WOW! The staff was very nice, and the food! OMG! We got hot and sour soup, chow mein, crab cheese puffs, and fried rice. Everything was amazing! We will be coming back here soon.

The atmosphere was good because there wasn't any annoying music playing. I had the chicken fried rice and it was excellent. Possibly the best fried rice I've had in Humboldt county. Chicken saute was also very good. The peanut sauce was very close to the real thing that you get in Thailand. I was very happy with the service and I will go there again.

Simple, good Asian food. Authentic and tasty. Not fancy, but worth the money.

Absolutely delicious!! I don’t eat out often in Humboldt and it’s so hard to find a good spot! This place was perfect! The portions were on point not to lg and just enough to fill ya up :) I will be back soon for sure!

Ordered online, delivery for 3 people. The green curry was too spicy for my friend to eat. There was no indicator on the menu that it would be so spicy, nor was there a way to select the spice level. The egg drop soup had almost no flavor. The chow fun, however, was great.

Everyone except me was disappointed in their food. Orange chicken, general tso chicken and chow mein were less than appetizing. My kids refused to eat after the first taste and I dont blame them. The general tso chicken for my partner was gross. The chicken was so dry. The rice and vegetables were good. I enjoyed the pad thai I got. The chicken in it was dry though. After spending over $70 on this food, I'd definitely NOT recommend it to anyone.

Food was good, random mop water smell when you walk in, waiter was literally dragging his feet as he walked by, drink was not refilled (water…), menus didn’t match, could see random storage boxes near kitchen. Would come back but not the best experience for sure.

Disappointing! I ordered the lunch special of shrimp with vegetables. The flavor was bland and the vegetables were undercooked, like it was just thrown in the sauce to heat thru. The veggie egg roll and hot n sour soup was even more bland. The BBQ pork bun was good. Overall, the meal was awful making it seem the cook isn't tasting the food and the food is being rushed.

Only giving one star for atmosphere because they are in the middle of renovation. But I’m giving it a low review because their food was super salty. Like licking dry salt salty. It’s usually never like this but it was just so bad tonight I had to say something. Hope it doesn’t happen again.

Unfortunately I'm from out of town, and tried this place based on Google reviews, when I pulled up it a unassuming place, there was something spilled on the sidewalk (red flag) at the front door not sure what it was but I didn't want to step in it. When I entered the place it was empty (red flag) young lady that was working was friendly, and informative, I ordered the Hunan triple delight ( beef chicken and shrimp) thinking it was one of their house specials, should be good right? Wrong . The vegetables did not taste fresh, and the beef was very tough, now I'm not expecting filet mignon, but I am expecting fresh food. Spend your money elsewhere....

This place does not deserve a star. We waited 50 minutes for our food and it was terrible. The food is over priced with no flavor, the breading is soggy and the sauce is watery. There were whole pieces of non-cooked onion in my meal. I got the sweet and sour pork and my husband got the hot and spicy chicken. Even the rice was bad. We could not finish our food and had to go elsewhere for dinner. I would recommend not coming here.

i ordered sliced bbq pork and got this bland, flavorless, overcooked, lousy meat that looks like it was soaked in red40. sesame for garnish… i guess. but there’s literally no flavor, no sauce, nothing. just dry meat. i scanned the QR code at the front desk as it said i would get 4 free crab puffs for leaving a review. the worker then politely asked me to leave. never got my crab puffs.

staff was nice although the food we ordered for take out is far from delicious, I ordered general tso chicken and there were 3 pieces of chicken in my container the rest being vegetables. It should be advertised as such. The flavor was not there at all and there was absolutely no sauce on it either just chicken and plain vegetables for far too expensive. I am quite disappointed, the quote on their website saying best Chinese in eureka was quite misleading to say the least

Came in at 8 to place a to-go order (they close at 830). Was told they wouldn’t take any more orders. There were two people in the dining room eating (at 8 on a weekend), so the kitchen definitely wasn’t busy. If the service and lack of people isn’t a sign not to come back I don’t know what is 🤷‍♀️

I ordered Mongolian Beef. It was sweet rather than savory. There is no room for sugar in Mongolian Beef! Please DO NOT coat anything with sugar on what is supposed to be savory!!!! Thank you!

Not worth the price($60 for this picture)they had no item details so when we ordered wonton we assumed it was like most places sadly. Didn't get our white rice. And the portions are small for mediocre food. I live in San diego and have had many kinda this one was not impressive. Not worth it

The food generally is pretty good! BUT they are starting to cut corners. Our last order of Kun Pao Chicken was mostly carrots. There were literally 5 pieces of chicken in there. If I wanted to pay $16 for a box of carrots + sauce, I would have just cooked myself. See photo!! Also, the Duck was so chewy that it was basically JERKEY MEAT. UGH, prices are up, quality is DOWN.

I honestly gave this review for some crab puffs, but I’m glad I did.

Food is terrible. Broccoli beef smelled really bad. Everything lacked flavor. The worst tasting Chinese food I’ve ever had. They also say they can take it out to your car but they never did that, so they shouldn’t give that as an option.
