I stayed one night at Locanda de Banchieri and the experience was excellent in every way. The property is small, with just a few rooms, but very well-maintained: the room was clean, tidy, and welcoming. I also dined at the Michelin-starred restaurant, and you immediately sense the quality: a well-structured menu, quality ingredients, and truly excellent dishes. The service was professional, attentive, and very friendly.

An inn with just four very simple rooms, but people come here primarily for chef Giacomo Devoto's restaurant. A Michelin star is well-deserved. A balanced and delicious menu with a choice of meat and fish, an excellent wine list, and excellent service. A glass-enclosed dining room overlooking the Ligurian Sea just a few kilometers away—what more could you ask for a spectacular lunch or dinner?

Phenomenal experience! I drove from Alba 4 hours to meet check in, took a shower and made it to my reservation. OMG IT WORTH! The chef’s experience (menu) really pop my eyes. Love the freshness and fun way of matching with each courses. Totally different from fancy stuff but what he did really rouse my sensations in dining. A must Tuscany experience if you love food and everything here.

I had dinner here with my wife and it was an exceptional experience. I've been curious for a while to try a Michelin-starred restaurant to see if it truly was a step up from the usual dining out. I have to say, it is. Every single ingredient brought to the table is the best I've ever had of its kind (from the bread and vegetables to the more sophisticated dishes). Every culinary pairing, service timing, and comfort (I even rate the chair I sit on) are well thought out to provide a top-notch experience. The dinner was long given the tasting menu, but I never had the urge to look at the clock. What I'd like to try when I return to this place: the à la carte menu and even more daring pairings. We enjoyed innovative and creative local dishes, top-quality ingredients, and the value was excellent. It has been an amazing experience! We tried both the menu, associated with the wines chosen by them. Moreover, I have to underline the great knowledge of the ingredients and composition of their dishes displayed by the metre that served us. Sometimes that really gave a huge plus has been the great attention of one of their metro towards our two dogs. So if you have dogs, there are no problems to go there with them, rather they showed extremely attention also towards them.

Locanda de Banchieri is an amazing place. We spent here two nights which were started off by an amazing dinner (make a reservation of the table). Special thanks to their chef and owner Giacomo Devoto for making the food and the whole Locanda concept modern yet still rustic and local. You can see that the staff has been well trained and is really trying to keep up with the standards of four and five star hotels, always smiling, and answering any question you might have. Please keep it this way, it really makes the place special from all the others. The room was cozy, very clean, awesome mattress and pillows (I slept well), lovely sea view, parking right in front of the reception. The room has all the things you might need (tea, biscuits, shower cap, shampoo, hairdryer etc…) I like their breakfast concept, where you have to pick what you want for breakfast in the evening (on a paper and leave it on the reception) and then you will have it in the morning, it prevents food wasting, and is also economical. Don’t worry, the list is long enough so anyone can choose their favorite breakfast. We will be coming back 😎
