Self-described as a Japanese-Italian interpretation, INI Ristorante offers both familiar dishes like Bolognese and Alfredo (a powerful combo), as well as fusion mashups like Uni Pasta. This restaurant is one of my most frequented and well-received by all the company I’ve taken here. Service is consistently attentive and the dishes are fantastic. The Short Rib Gnocchi, available only at dinner, is absolutely incredible. The vibes are simultaneously sophisticated and laid-back. I’ve hosted casual walk-in lunches wearing flip flops and also reserved celebratory gatherings late night when the ambience becomes more refined. The intimate lighting and the illuminated tree centerpiece makes for a top-tier dining environment. During the day, they have a solid and affordable happy hour menu Monday to Friday from 2 to 5pm.
I went here on a date a couple years ago and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Tonight my girlfriend took me here for our two year anniversary and yet again, it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely perfect and I never leave reviews but I wanted to come on and specifically shout out our server Jason. He was very attentive and so on top of everything. The service in general was great, but our server was a real stand out. He even brought us an extra dessert that he put two candles in to honor our two year marker and we were really appreciative of that! The prices are super reasonable for how upscale the food is. No notes. Ini is easily my favorite restaurant now and we will absolutely be back here. I want to try everything they make!

Ini is such a great place to eat! The food is always delicious, and I really enjoy their seasonal specials—it makes each visit feel fresh and unique. I also love that the menu changes depending on the time of day, so you can always discover something new. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for tasty food with a nice variety.
Another amazing restaurant by Kei Concepts. We've tried Vox, Nep, Kin and Gem (waiting for it to reopen). Ini is an Italian restaurant with Asian fusion. The espresso martini is one of the best I've had, kinda nice to have sea salt sprinkled on top. Our friend had Lychee sour and he liked it as well. Then we ordered Mentaiko Pizza. I've had mentaiko cream on pasta but to try it on pizza sounded strange but it works. The sliced octopus adds depth to the pizza, as well as the nori on top. Everyone in our group loves it. For the entree, we ordered the scallops risotto and branzino. Scallops are well cooked and the risotto is on point. The branzino comes in 2 filets with an amazing rice pilaf. The skin is perfectly crispy and the meat not dry. For dessert, we order the corn bread and chocolate lava cake. I wish they have more exotic dessert options. All in all, a very good meal. Danny is very helpful and professional. The noise level is quite high on a Wednesday evening, I believe the whole restaurant is packed.
Had a lovely lunch with my girls and the food was amazing!! The truffle cheese bread is so so yummy. We also tried the shrimp rigatoni, the carbonara and chicken katsu then ended with the dessert—matcha cremeux. Our server was wonderful as well. He was very friendly and attentive. I don’t recall his name but our receipt says Bryant, so maybe that was it. Overall a great vibe for a gathering with friends and family.
I would have to say WOW!!! This restaurant exceeded my expectations with the pizzas. I have traveled to New York and Italy, which are known for having some of the best pizza in the world, but the pizza here genuinely surprised me. The flavors are very unique, especially the poke pizza since it is fusion style. My friend said the poke pizza here is insanely good and I doubted it at first, but it is true. You have to try the poke pizza at this restaurant, unless you normally do not like poke of course. The beef tartare was really good as well. One thing my family did not enjoy as much was the spicy miso carbonara. We liked the flavor, but the bacon did not really go well with it, and shrimp or beef would probably be a better fit. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back to try more dishes. The total cost was about $30 per person, so it was not too expensive either. Note: I highly recommend dining in for the pizza and would not suggest ordering it to go. We did get some to go for the first time and it was not nearly as good once it cooled down, which is expected, and they also do not allow the poke pizza to be taken to go since it contains raw ingredients. As for service, similar to my other experiences at Kei Concepts restaurants, the customer service was pretty decent. One thing I was a bit unhappy about this time was that our table felt a bit cold because the AC was blowing directly at us. We asked to move tables, but the staff said the other tables were already set up for a larger party, though she did mention she would see if she could turn down the AC a bit. I felt fine, but my mom felt a little cold so I switched seats with her to take the direct wind. I understand they were trying to be efficient with table management to avoid long wait times, so this is just a minor note for management since I know they read the comments. Maybe they can try redirecting the AC airflow so it does not blow directly onto customer tables. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are a pizza lover like I am.
Absolutely the best service with really outstanding food. Bryant's tantalizing descriptions of the food on the menu had me and my friend ordering way more than we could eat. His descriptions oozed with passion and he provided such juicy flavor in the rhythmic way he talked about each menu item. We ordered the butter shrimp (thank you for suggesting the side of bread to soak up the sauce - that was the best part and I didn't even like bread!), rack of lamb, spicy carbonara, truffle toast, and pistachio cannoli. The matcha on the lamb was such a unique treat. The spicy carbonara was a solid choice. A bit of Asian heat and very flavorful. We ordered the truffle toast out of curiosity towards the end but it was just too much bread for us. It was a unique and tasty treat but not something that I could eat on its own. The portion size was heaping for someone who doesn't eat much bread. What really wowed us was pistachio cannoli. The cream filling was so good. I really loved the wonton wrapper because it was nice and crispy. And the pistachio flavor was perfect! It's an absolute must-have. If you are able to see if you can get Bryant's table. He is amazing! Seriously the best service ever ❤️🔥
A restaurant with yummy food and decent atmosphere, INI is a nice option for a date or a small family gathering. Happy hour will get you a small discount on some items, which is appreciated considering the price point of items if you want to have more than just an entree each person. Pepperoni Pizza 3/5 Out of all items consumed, this was decent, but nothing to rave about. Compared to other restaurants, it doesn’t stack highly. But it is inoffensive Spicy Miso Carbonara 5/5 Well balanced flavor. The spice level isn’t overpowering, but is enough to complement your dish. The egg and noodles were cooked well, would recommend. Truffle Cheese Bread 4/5 The cheeses used made the dish quite tasty and filling, though it does not taste much of truffle. For $16, I would not get every single time I come over, but it is worth a try. Overall, INI was quite inviting. The server we had was kind and very attentive, and the food was tasty, making the cost feel more worth it than at other restaurants of similar price point.
INI Ristorante is everything I would expect KEI Concepts to deliver: delicious food, aesthetically-pleasing environment, amazing customer service, tasteful decor, pleasant atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience. INI’s take on Japanese meets Italian cuisine is executed beautifully. The harmony between these different cuisines complement one another. Our party ordered a variety of items so that we can taste a little of everything. Here is a list of all the food we ordered: * TRUFFLE CHEESE BREAD - Absolutely exquisite! The combination of honey, truffles, ricotta cheese, mozzarella with fluffy bread was an unexpected surprise. It was great without the honey and even better once you add the honey! You MUST order this! * CALAMARI FRITTI - This was good but it wasn’t my favorite. It’s a typical fried calamari. What I liked more were the dressed arugula that came with this appetizer. * CAVATELLI ALLA NORCINA - When I saw this, I had to have it because it’s my favorite dish from Bestia in LA. The truffle butter mixed with Parmesan and sausage made for an unctuous bite. It was savory and comforting at the same time. * SPICY MISO CARBONARA - I don’t usually care for carbonara but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this dish. The spicy miso cream enhanced the usually-boring udon noodles. The egg yolks lended a creamier texture. With the added shiitake mushrooms and bacon, it gave a natural umami flavor that made me enjoy slurping the noodles. * TRUFFLE FUNGHI PIZZA - I love a great mushroom pizza and this was really good. It would be better if the arugula wasn’t so dry. It needed to be dressed the same as the arugula that came with the calamari IMO. Other things to note: * PARKING around the perimeter of the restaurant is limited but there are plenty of parking spots in the same plaza. * MOUTHWASH available in the restrooms, just like they have at VOX Kitchen. * SPACIOUS LAYOUT means there’s mobility space for walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers. Overall, I enjoyed everything about INI Ristorante and would gladly recommend this restaurant for group outings, celebrations for family or friends, and even solo dining or take out.
INI Ristorante offers cuisine that brings Japanese and Italian flavors together. Their menu is well diversified and is amended with new offerings seasonally. The atmosphere is contemporary and friendly. All items on the menu have impeccable presentation. Paired with their professional customer service, your dining experience shall be a joy unlike anywhere else.
This is one of my top 2 favorite Kei Concept restaurants! It’s been three years since my last visit to INI, and it’s just as amazing as I remember—maybe even better now. Every dish goes above and beyond expectations, with flavors that lean toward Japanese fusion—creative, balanced, and absolutely delicious. The service is A+, from the warm welcome at the front to the efficient food service. Top recommendations: -Mentaiko Pizza -Seafood Malfadine -Beef Carpaccio -Squid Ink Uni Pasta Also worth trying: -Umeboshi Spring Salad -Truffle Cheese Bread -Calamari The restaurant is also very kid-friendly—spacious, bright, clean, and thoughtful. They even arrange seating to accommodate strollers when needed. In the same plaza, you’ll also find two other Kei Concept restaurants—Vox and QUA. I always recommend their spots to friends visiting OC; Kei Concept never disappoints and always satisfies even the pickiest eaters.
Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. There was no wait. It wasn’t crowded. The inside is really pretty! There’s a tree in the middle of the restaurant which was cool!!! 🌳 The waiter was super friendly. The food was great. The calamari appetizer had so much. It was like never ending lol. The beef carpaccio was so delicious omg 🤤wow. I am shocked at how delicious it is! We also got a seafood poke pizza, which sounded super interesting. The first bite was a little weird but the more I ate it, the better tasting it became. I was actually really surprised at how delicious it got! Lolol. 🍕 It is pricy here but the food is delicious and I would recommend if you’re in the mood for something out of the ordinary!
A favorite in OC for all the best reasons : top service, delicious and fresh food , and cute interiors. Everytime I visit, it’s busy and the food is consistently amazing - also love the seasonal rotating dishes. Mentaiko pizza and miso carbonara are my two favorite dishes! The fruit salads are always a great appetizer , and the truffle cheese bread is loaded with different cheeses and honey.
Had an amazing experience at INI Ristorante. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and full of flavor. They do Italian/Japanese fusion really well, blending the two cuisines in a way that feels creative without trying too hard. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich but balanced, and the Japanese touches added a unique twist that actually works. The ambiance is modern and relaxing, and the service was warm and attentive throughout the meal. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers great fusion food with a refined vibe, INI Ristorante is definitely worth checking out.
A truly 10/10 dining experience. The wagyu beef appetizer completely changed my opinion on raw meat! Ea h dish was beautifully balanced and full of flavor. We did notice a small piece of plastic in our noodle dishes, but the staff handled the situation professionally. They immediately offered a replacement. Since we were still enjoying the pizza which I forgot to photo of :( they instead treated us a dessert on the house. We tried the yuzu sorbet, a very refreshing, and the perfect ending to the meal. I can’t recall the exact name of the ‘purple drink’ but it was a coconut taro ale. If you like taro or ube flavors, please try it!
Our visit here was based on recommendations, and it did not disappoint. It was a delight to find items on the menu that were very unique, and I particularly enjoyed the Japanese infusion. As much as I wanted to order everything, I will definitely return in the future to try their interesting pizzas and pasta. As we walked into the their beautiful bar, I noticed that it was fully stocked with alcohol, which is very impressive.
This is where you go when you are craving for great Vietnamese food! Used to bring my friends who are visiting SoCal here. Now that I no longer reside here, I come whenever I have a chance to visit SoCal. Because of the volume of customers, sometimes you do not get very good service although some of their servers do their best to attend to everyone. The wait is usually long but it is worth it. My favorites here are the Ban Bo Hue, BBQ pork spring rolls, the Brodard Broken Rice and their coconut jelly and taro desserts.
I have never had anything here but the spring rolls but I am telling you that is all you need to come for. Crazy stupid incomprehensibly good. The rolls. The SAUCE. I get these every time I am in town for work, and again on my way back from the stand at John Wayne Airport (gotta bring some back for the husband). Incomparable. Famous for good reason.
Came for the spring rolls and ended up finding some other goodies that really hit the spot we didn’t know needed hitting. The spring rolls were great as always, but we found the sauce to be too sweet this time around. The bahn khot was fire, great flavors and textures combined. This one was a game winner. The coconut jelly was mellow and was a hit with the kiddo.
When we arrived, the waiting line was pretty long, but when we went to check in, the hostess asked if we were interested in sitting at the bar. We said yes, and they seated us right away. It was our first time there, and the server took the time to recommend some options and gave us excellent service. The food was absolutely delicious—highly recommend, 10/10! I definitely have to go back soon. Edit: Sorry I did not take more pics before eating

Everything on the large menu is good, which is unusual for Vietnamese places. Every roll is outstanding. Prepay orders for roll trays and your wait is much shorter

I've always loved the Ahi Tuna Roll, but the sauce was always so strong, it hurt my nose, but today's was sooo good and the perfect balance! Had to get two orders

Interesting menu, delicious results, beautifully presented by a proficient staff. I would return in a heartbeat. My only wish is that we had a similar restaurant in Northern California

A very popular Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant. It’s upscale but still doable for college students for a fancy night out. The drinks are strong, the food is flavorful and upscale, the aesthetics are classy, and the service is great. We brought in a birthday cake and they were able to hold it for us and bring it out at the end of our meal. The gnocchi and poke pizza were my personal favorites.
Had a girls' day with my friend who recommended this place, and I can see why it’s one of her favorites. The portions are big enough to share, and we ordered the Naraman Muroka Sake, Truffle Cheese Bread (small plate), Spicy Miso Carbonara, Mentaiko Pizza, and the Matcha Cremeux for dessert. Let’s just say it was a lot of food for two people, we ended up taking home half the pizza and bread. Everything exceeded my expectations and was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, and even boxed up all our leftovers for us. Prices are on the higher side, so I’ll likely save this spot for special occasions, but it’s definitely worth checking out if you like Japanese and Italian fusion dishes.
We’re been here a handful of times over the years. Great concept, great vibe and decor, hit or miss in service, great menu and with good foods. Easy parking since there is a huge parking no lot for the shopping plaza that Ini shares with others. Service, most of the time can be pleasantly and sometimes, they just ignored you or forgot about you being there. Overall, great place to be at for family or friends or just me time over HH menu. Will definitely comeback for more.
This fusion Japanese-Italian restaurant is a perfect place for any size gathering. A wide variety of pasta and pizza hit the spot as well as the delicious appetizers. The truffle cheese bread and uni pasta is a must, and don’t skip the hot balloon bread with honey and furigake topping. I wish it had more protein dishes for those who are trying to blind carbs.
First time here and we found the place to be quite appealing, very spacious and nice decor. We tried the calamari and margherita pizza. Calamari was great, tiny pieces but light and crispy- it was yummy! As for the pizza, it was very good too. we added sausage, bacon and pineapple to it and I really loved the thin pizza dough and fluffy crisp edges, but the pineapple pieces could be bigger, they were literally smaller than size of a dime🤭 (we didn’t go for the bacon pineapple pizza as the sauce would be too spicy) Overall a great experience, we’ll take our daughter to try it next time.
Dropped by INI Ristorante, one of the Kei Concepts spots in Fountain Valley Town Center. It got a Happy Hour from 2–5PM with small plates around $8–$12, kind of like their sister restaurants. The menu’s shorter during lunch and happy hour, but we picked a few things to try anyway. *Calamari Fritti $10 Tiny crispy rings, simple but actually pretty good. *Caesar Salad $10 Nothing fancy, standard Caesar, smaller portion but fresh. *Pepperoni Pizza $12 So salty it made me chug water nonstop. Wouldn’t order this again. *Pistachio Cannoli $8 Now this was the winner. The pistachio cream was rich, nutty, and full of flavor. I’d come back just for this dessert. Service was great and staff was friendly. Fun fact: their sister restaurants VOX Kitchen, ROL Hand Roll Bar, and KIN Craft Ramen & Izakaya are all in the same plaza. NEP Cafe and Kei Coffee House are close by and only SUP Noodle Bar is a bit farther from Kei’s Fountain Valley hub. 📍 INI Ristorante (Fountain Valley Town Center) 16129 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708
Excellent service and lively ambience, but the food was average. I loved the ideas and creativity behind the menu, but some of the plates fell short of my expectations. Mint Mojito coffee: refreshing with tame coffee flavor, reminds me of the mint mojito from Philz coffee Beef Carpaccio: great smoky and beefy flavor complimented well by the arugula and apple. My favorite appetizer of the night. Cheesy Truffle Toast: Must eat while warm to best appreciate the melting and gooey cheese. However the bread was soggy and the outside pieces over charred. The truffle sauce inside was good at first but over time it became heavy. Spicy Miso Carbonara Udon: my favorite dish of the night. Creamy and chewy udon with a spice kick to it – not too creamy and light in flavor. Came with bacon and mushrooms that complimented the pasta and sauce well. Braised short rib Gnocchi: This dish fell flat because the sauce was not as flavorful as I thought. The gnocchi, beef, and mushroom were good, but the squash had a pasty taste. Mentaiko Pizza: extremely flavorful and seafood flavor for mentaiko cream lovers. I enjoyed this pizza but would only have 2-3 pieces at most. The crust was chewy and cooked well, but the crust was thin which made the pizza floppy. Overall, I am glad I tried Ini, but would not come back again. I would bring guests from out of town to drink their cocktails and drinks though.
You can join the ONLINE waitlist during peak times, then check-in at the counter upon arrival. It's a bigger place with bar seating, many tables, and a to-go counter. Brodard is well-known for their spring rolls. We got the classic grilled pork spring rolls to start. Our entrées were the deluxe Brodard broken rice with pork Chop, beef stew, and shrimp & crab glass noodles. The beef stew was delicious with tender meat. Our server Tony. T was awesome. He was nice, attentive, and quick.
Good overall dining experience at Brodard Vietnamese Cuisine. We ordered Nam Vang soup, garlic noodles (seafood & shaken beef), egg rolls, fresh shrimp rolls, and steamed vegetables. The food was fresh and served hot. The garlic noodles were flavorful and filling, and the Nam Vang soup was light and comforting with a good amount of seafood and vegetables. Portions were generous and great for sharing. Service was quick and the restaurant was clean. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the quality and portions make it worth it. Would come back again.
We came for lunch around noon... what a busy place. And I can understand why. Great menu options, flavorful rolls and good service. We were a party of 4. We ordered a few rolls so we can their variety of options Vegetarian Roll was my least favorite. Kinda on the bland side even with sauce. Eggplant Tempura Roll-tasty would get again Duck Roll- was my favorite! Coconut Shrimp Roll- if you like coconut get it... because that's all you taste. Lotus salad- yum! Love the crunch and the little bit of heat you get. Jackfruit salad- sweet and flavorful. I couldn't decide which salad was better. Food portions are generous and easily sharable too! I would definitely return!
Spring rolls at Brodard are a must-try, regardless of the type you choose. The menu provides a wider variety than most Vietnamese restaurants, and the high-quality food justifies the prices. Each menu item is expertly prepared and deserves its place on the menu. While the restaurant is always bustling and crowded, the staff could be more friendly and approachable.
My favorite quintessential Vietnamese restaurant! It has everything you can want- such a huge variety. My favorites are the clay pot seafood, nem nuong (of course!) and garlic noodle with shrimp. I've also had their hu tieu Kho (dry noodle), porridge, jerky papaya salad, etc. They have desserts, drinks, appetizers, etc. I haven't ever ordered anything I didn't like. Service is always quick and friendly. It's also always crowded- it's a plus that you can put your name down on the waitlist. They're known for their pork rolls. The icing on the cake is the sauce- it's magical. Best sauce ever. You can order to go for a quick fix! I honestly can never get tired of this place. Price is a bit high for some items but overall good value- hearty portions!
We came the day before a little after one and it was so crowded the wait was too long for us. This time we came early morning and there was no wait. Food tasted ok in general. I couldn't really brag about anything except maybe the appetizers. The seafood claypot looked really good but tasted a little bland. The Brodard special rice vermicelli noodles tasted ok. The grilled pork on this dish was not as flavored as on the grilled pork crepe noodles. Wonder why they didn't flavor it the same way. Banh khot was good and the grilled pork spring rolls were good.
Shaken Beef with Garlic Noodle: $26 Great overall dish, beef perfectly cook (soft, med rare), great garlic sauce but the noodle slightly overcook Grill Pork Spring Roll: $11 for 4 Great as usual Beef Stew with Baguette Super tender beef (not fell apart) great sauce and the baguette crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Great combo, wish they provide more than 2 med size baguette Luna Rice with Shrimp (appetizer) It’s ok, not a fan of the overall texture (mung bean shell).

First time here. We had a 30-45 min wait. Was super excited to try this but this is kinda like Nep cafe in the essence that it’s a once and done for me. It’s nothing super special( in terms of food) that stood out where I would come back and eat it again. The only thing that stood out for me was the pizza. The calamari was super small and disappointing because it was more breading than calamari. This is more of like an experience. If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a try. You might like it.
highly recommend making a reservation since they get busy. there’s usually lots of people waiting outside and i wish there was a better management of crowds since it was hard to check in. i liked how friendly and attentive the staff was however the food timing was off - one person got their food 30 minutes before everyone else’s while the others took 1.5 hours. overall an okay spot but it was better before.
Ini resaurant is an Italian/Japanese fusion that translates well from kitchen to plate to table. Good food, exceptional artisan pizza, tasty craft drinks, nice selection of whiskey, and I like the fact that the majority of their limited wine selections are from Italy...happy hour starts at 2PM with great menu and drink prices. Service was good, but all the food came out at once, so order as you go unless you want appetizers served with your meal. The bartender was pleasant...dining music needs work and the interior is nothing to write about, but we enjoy Ini, overall a thumbs up. Looking forward to visiting other Kei Concepts restaurants in the area.
I’ve always been a fan of Kei Concepts and have been consistently impressed with most of their restaurant chains, from food quality to service. Unfortunately, our experience at Ini did not meet those same standards. We came for lunch with our family, and while the food itself was good, the service was lacking. After waiting to be seated, it took quite some time before anyone brought us menus. We also had to track down our server in order to place our food order. As parents of a child with life threatening food allergies, service and communication are especially important to us. When we asked whether certain drinks were safe for our son, the response we received was simply, “It should be.” That level of uncertainty is concerning. At other Kei Concepts restaurants, staff usually ask proactively about food allergies and communicate clearly with the kitchen, which gives us confidence and peace of mind. Unfortunately, that was not the case here, and it felt as though Ini may train their staff differently. Overall, while the food was good, it was not exceptional enough to overlook the lack of attentive and knowledgeable service. Service plays a major role in the overall dining experience, and in this case, it fell short.
Open, like a higher end cafeteria. Good service. Food was nothing to rave about. The ginger tea was decent. Beef stew was fairly tasty. Duck buns, a bit tasteless. Grilled shrimp spring rolls, flat. Sooo disappointed. My guest was underwhelmed. Overpriced for the quality. Maybe I ordered the "wrong" items (?). Anyhoo, no returning to this location with other good Vietnamese options on the same corner. Much prefer Brodard by Trask.
We heard all a lot about this place and wanted to try it. It is a very busy place and it is a very large restaurant! The place was clean and full of both Vietnamese and non Vietnamese. They had a large menu with different type of dish. However this is definitely not authentic Vietnamese food but catered more toward fusion food. Two things I didn’t like about this place. They were so busy that the service wasn’t great. It took along time before the waiter took our drink and food orders. The food don’t come out all at once as they bought each dish separately. There not everyone was able to eat at once. They are very expensive with little portions. I would rank them very low in the value department. Overall, I don’t think I would be back as I like authentic Vietnamese food as it is not for me. I categorize them as overpriced Chinese food. However it may be better suited for others.
Really mediocre restaurant. Nothing is great besides the pork spring roll and the sauce it comes with. All their other dishes are mediocre at best. Their pho, rice dishes, BBH. Nothing stands out. …
The grilled rolls were good, but unfortunately, the rest of the dishes were a letdown. Not only were they overpriced, but the flavors were off—especially the egg noodle and fried egg noodle, which tasted strange. The meat didn’t seem fresh, and the beef in the garlic noodle dish was so tough and chewy, it felt more like chewy rubber than beef. Definitely not a place I’d return to.
I like the food but dread coming here because the people in the cash register not sure if the woman is a boss or not but they act like I came to beg for food. It's funny how I'm the one to say "thank…

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered the pork rib rice and asked the server to confirm whether it was a pork rib stick (bone-in rib) or a pork chop, because I can’t eat the chop. The server clearly said it was a rib stick, but when the food came out, it was a pork chop. I told the server it was not what I ordered, but they didn’t apologize or offer to fix it. I decided not to eat it and just let it go. When I went to pay, I mentioned it to (what seemed to be) the manager, and they explained that they don’t even serve rib sticks there — still, no apology at all. Honestly, that kind of service made me very disappointed. My husband also tried one spoonful of the rice and said it didn’t taste good either. However, I have to admit — the spring rolls here are really good! They were fresh, flavorful, and nicely made. If the food and service matched the quality of the rolls, this place would be so much better.
