New KBBQ place near me so had to go. Went during the soft opening so no alcohol or apps yet but came for the BBQ so no prob! (The apps looked good though). I also like that it's open to midnight as all KBBQ places should be open late. There is a direct correlation between how good a place is with what time they close. Always second guess a KBBQ that closes early. You order food through your phone on an online menu. It's fine but the menu site needs some polishing and refinement. It's a little clumsy if you aren't super comfortable. And I know it's crazy talk but what if you don't have a phone or aren't into phone ordering like my parents. They prob have a solution to that. The meats came out promptly and was excellent quality. The servers were attentive and nice. The sides were very good as well. It was busy but not loud so you could still have a conversation with your party. Very clean as expected for a new place so hope they keep it that way. Some nitpicks: 1. I get that it's KBBQ and the meats are why you're there but we had a pescatarian in our group. Yes she knew what the place was and went to be social not necessarily to eat but the seafood options were sad. No deductions in stars for this but it would be great if they broadened their seafood options too. 2. They don't take AMEX. I get they aren't the only ones that don't take AMEX due to higher fees they charge but I just have this take that if your average per person spending to eat is more than $50, you need to take all major forms of credit cards. It would be like $0.50-$1 per person more to take AMEX over Visa/MC. Just take it. Or raise the price slightly. Or give me the option to pay the extra $1 to use my AMEX. 3. Need better fans. Place was smokey. Not the smokiest that I've ever been but smokey. You are definitely walking out smelling of something. All nitpicks that hopefully the place will consider if they can but not a reason not to go. Go. Have fun. (The first pic of this restaurant profile is mine...I took that!)
Great all you can eat korean bbq. Made reservation for 9 people, and was seated right away when we got there. Good food with large selection. Service was also great
Had a bad first experience when they first opened, but came back a 2nd time with friends and I have to say both the food and the service improved significantly. I would definitely recommend this place now.
We could do without the robot service, but everything else was great!😄
Everything was good until we found medal pieace in the raw meat. I would go back regardless.
Service, quality, unbeatable price.
It was one of the best Korean BBQ I ever went to.
Service was quick, food was quick as well
Good
Amazing staff great food!
Great food and customer service
One of the best .. and halal too
I love the adorable robots that can bring your choices to your table. Our server was so helpful guiding us through out first time there.
We had been to the Tustin location and were counting down the days until the Fountain Valley location opened. We had an amazing dinner! Great atmosphere, great food, and great service. The servers were so kind and helpful. Can not wait to go back again!
it’s $40 for dinner. the service was pretty great, and the food was really good. i loved the different options they had. there are also pictures for the meats, sides, and other dishes which is helpful when choosing your next meat! parking was pretty easy as well. and all the staff were friendly and attentive. I think i found my new go to korean bbq spot
great place to get your proteins in, everything tasted really good, cucumber kimchi yummy. Just a little on the pricy side for lunch 45.00 all you can eat, but worth it, great place to take a date.
First timer to " I Can Barbeque" for dinner and the restaurant was crafted nicely with grill tray on each table and a pull- down suction vent that eliminates cooking steam/smoke. We order electronically from a scan app and within minutes delivery via a robot. We ordered 8 trays of various meats, sides and condiments. A staff person changed the cook top tray 3X for clean cooking. AYCE for lunch (BEST PRICE) or dinner, you will not leave hungry. A must try!
New Korean BBQ All-You-Can-Eat Spot in Fountain Valley! The popular Korean BBQ chain I Can Barbecue, with several locations across SoCal, just opened a new branch in Fountain Valley! Grand Opening Deal (Until 8/31/2025): • Mon–Thurs Lunch (before 3:30 PM): 30% OFF (Reg. $31.99) • Mon–Thurs Dinner & Weekends: 20% OFF (Reg. $40.99) I saw this promo on Facebook so decided to drop by during a weekday lunch to check it out, and here’s what I thought: *Good quality meats *Spacious seating & no greasy smoke *DIY grilling *Easy QR code ordering, food delivered by robot (staff also came by to switch out the grill pan.) *You can order 4 items every 10 minutes but we kept reordering right after finishing, and food came out fast. *2-hour time limit. *We tried 24 items (see last photo) . Yes, some were repeats cause they were so good! *Need help or ready to pay? Just tap at the bottom of the ordering page. I love the concept that customers don’t need to engage with staff that much and can be more focused on grilling and chatting with friends. If you love K-BBQ, this is the perfect time to try it while the discounts last! 📍I Can Barbecue Korean Grill 18315 Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708
A higher quality all-you-can-eat bbq restaurant. I visited during the soft opening, and enjoyed the menu despite it having a limited selection at the time. The quality of the meat was good and the seafood was fresh. Staff was attentive and able to help us refill our sides, water, and advise us on beat cooking with new meats and seafoods. The restaurant interior was very clean, both aesthetically and hygienically. During lunch, it wasn’t smokey at all in the building, so the ventilation system is working well! The seats, however, are hard and uncomfortable.
The food was great but service a bit long. Takes a while for food to arrive, but the food is high quality.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Wish I could give 10 stars!) I’ve been coming to this restaurant many, many times because we absolutely love the food, but today was on another level thanks to our server, Amy. She is truly amazing! From the moment we sat down, she was on top of everything—attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. If I needed something, Amy already had it on the way. When our grill needed changing, she took care of it before I could even ask. Drinks, sides, refills—she was everywhere at once, making sure every single table had what they needed. And yet, she still made us feel like we were her top priority. The most incredible part? Amy told us this was only her fifth day as a server. You’d never believe it—she’s a natural! It’s rare to see someone care so deeply about every guest’s experience, and it shows in the way she moves, anticipates, and truly wants everyone to enjoy themselves. Because of Amy, we’ll be coming here even more often. She brings such a special energy to the restaurant, and I can’t wait to see her again. Amy, if you’re reading this—you’re phenomenal. Keep shining, you’re doing AMAZING. 💖 Hannah and Fabian :)
We come here really often and especially tonight the customer service was exceptional even thought they were full. Thank you so much Ronald/Kyle, Joseph and Kevin and the Asian girl at the front desk which I think is the manager. The foods is super delicious. Will definitely come back and bring all my family and friends here. Highly recommend this "All You Can Eat Korean BBQ Restaurant" ask for the Ronald/Joseph/Kevin and Kyle. We end up tipping them $40 even thought there were only 2 of us. You have to try this restaurant out and I guaranteed you're going to like it. Thank you again guys 🙏👍👍🤜🤜
I Can Barbecue was a great experience for us. I went with my family for the first time and we truly enjoyed it. The food is halal, flavorful, and well prepared. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and spend quality time together. We had a lovely time as a family and will definitely be coming back again.
I was here a couple of days ago for their AYCE menu. Their menus are priced decently and they have good options. Meat was delicious, their spicy house sauce is to die for. And our server was this young Asian lady, Dan. She was great! Friendly, always a smile on her face, courteous, and quick. She made our experience better. We will be back.
Came in here with my coworkers tonight (11/12/2025) and received some of the most incredible service i have ever had. The staff (Peter, Dan, KJ, Joseph) were extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in me and my crew having a great experience. Will recommend to all my friends. (The food is delicious too)
Ronaldo, Kevin, Kyle, and Joseph were super friendly and professional. We tipped them $40 for the great service they provided. Fast service although it was busier than usual. Great team work! Food was very good!

New location. Great service staff but steamed egg was not available! 🤔
Wanted to try this place while they still offer 30% discount for lunch. We enjoyed the Korean banchan (side dishes) and it was fun to have robots deliver our food. We only liked a couple of the meats we ordered so may just get those next time: bulgogi, sirloin steak, thin slices of pork belly, and the premium pork belly. The oregano lamb was inconsistent with some pieces being very hard/chewy and others tender. The cilantro pork didn't seem like a good combo.
My new favorite kbbq spot, wished it was cheaper, but you get what you pay for. We went for weekend lunch and its dinner price, which was 42$! You order by scanning a QR code and a robot delivers straight to your table and the order was correct each time. I love all the meat, except the marinated steak, it tasted funny. The sides are amazing! Love it all! My only complaint is they charge for egg drop soup, like what?!!! We pay for all you can eat, shouldn’t the soup come with it because it’s nostalgic Korean soup:
Really cool place, was there during the lunch special, there is a good variety of food and it's quite nice for a KBBQ place. The meat was really fresh, the servers were a little less attentive then I'd like but they were pretty busy. Would recommend
My husband and I stopped by during their weekday lunch promo (30% off the AYCE menu), which made for a great deal. We’ve been to the Tustin location before, so we were already familiar with the setup: ordering through the iPad, etc. We ordered a variety of meats throughout the meal, and the service robot brought everything out promptly. I liked that the portion sizes were on the smaller side, which allowed us to sample more of the menu without feeling overwhelmed. The bean paste soup was a standout, as was the garlic butter (so flavorful!). We also enjoyed the hot dishes like chicken katsu, gyoza, and kimchi fried rice. While the selection at this location seemed a bit more limited compared to Tustin, it was still plenty to keep us satisfied. Overall, the value was great, especially with many AYCE spots now running close to $40 per person.
Price is fair . Our Sever was cheerful andearned 25 percent tip from us. Like steak best z

Solid spot for AYCE kbbq. During my visit the food was good quality and the service (specifically Peter) was great- he kept checking on our table to make sure we had everything.
Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Parking: 3/5 Family friendly: 4/5 Stroller friendly: 4/5 ADA accessible: 4/5 I've been to multiple ICAN BBQ's and love them. Our group this time around was about 18-20 people. This one on the other hand was just meh. I understand there are some learning curves or growing pains. I give them the benefit of the doubt for that. Let's list the good things. - Design and ambiance - Hardware, plating, dinnerware - Electric igniter for grills Not so good. - Buggy QR ordering app - Slow service - 1/2 orders of meat or skipped orders of meat I'll chop up the not so great service to still learning staff. Parking is shared with other busy restaurants so during a busy times like weekends it'll be a bit hard. Also, aisles are wide enough to fit a WC but it'll be a tight fit. I'll give this place another try in the future to see if they've caught up to the other I CAN BBQ'S.
Well i think the one in Irvine location is better. Their kimchi is a bit meh and the gojujang is a bit different. I guess it was okay but not that appealing. They have 20% discount on dinner which is amazing.
Pork belly came in chunks that was so frozen with so much fat but the rest were pretty good. Went on a Sat and the price was over $40 per person which is super $$$.

Got the premium for $50+ and doesn't includes steam eggs!!! We had to order 4 steam eggs for 3.99 each and it was nasty burnt, dry and very bland. The side dishes was awful. The premium meat was a little ok but not worth it. For this price I would expect more quality. Would not recommend or go back again.
Premium dinner for$50.99 Service is pretty good, but meats was not premium at all. They use very low quality of meats.
Unfortunately VERY poor service and underwhelming food quality makes this a huge miss. It takes over 30 minutes to get simple sides, rice paper, radish, kimchi. Since everything works through the website to order food, the staff offers no solution when waiting ages for anything. The meat comes out fast, but without all the other accompaniments it is hard to enjoy. The best thing were the Mexican style nachos, which is really sad for a kbbq place. Save your money and time.

Weird policy, you can only order 4 things per 10 minute. DO NOT COME HERE
The emplyees here are very rude, i dont recommend it
This place was so disappointing. When we sat down, the waiter said he’d bring us water—never did. We had to ask twice before we finally got it. Ordering is all through your phone after scanning a QR code, but no one had “activated” our table, so we just sat there waiting with no way to order. It took forever to get someone’s attention. Super frustrating. The seating situation is also super annoying. We were in a booth and kept getting bumped from behind—either from people sitting back-to-back or kids messing around in the booth behind us. It felt cramped and chaotic the whole time. Even though they have a robot delivering the food, the actual service was terrible. You’d think the robot would help them be more efficient, but nope! It just made the lack of human service more obvious. The food was not good. Low quality, super limited menu, and way overpriced. They charge for steamed egg, which is usually included at other AYCE KBBQ places. And no free dessert either—other spots like Cham Soot Gol and Star BBQ give you free ice cream or soft serve, but here they charge you for that too. Also, their cooking tools felt super cheap! Definitely not coming back. There are way better KBBQ places for the same price or less and with way better food, service, and vibes.
don’t go here. go to the one in Irvine. these people didn’t serve the sauces before serving the food and our drinks came when we were almost finished with the meal. the robot serves food but the waiter/waitresses never checked in.
Dont go here late night. Their hours of operation say 11pm but their last call was 9:45pm. You won't get a seat. This was my third visit, we walked in at 9:50 and they couldn't seat us say "we just did last call 5 minutes ago". It's pretty disappointing. I CAN BBQ, update your hours on google. The first time food was good but the vibe was not much of a vibe. Second time food quality seemed to have dropped. I was hoping the third time was the charm as I was introducing it to a friend, but, well, I can't say it's a place that wants my business.
I hope the owner reads this. We walked in at 10:06 PM and were immediately told “last call at 11,” even though this location is listed as closing at 12:00 AM on Google and Yelp. From the moment we entered, we were made to feel unwelcome, like the staff just wanted us gone. After being seated, we were not told upfront that many AYCE items were unavailable. Only after ordering did we find out that salad, kofta, Angus hanging tender, and several other meats were out because they were “closing soon.” We were also brought wrong meats we didn’t order. This is an all-you-can-eat restaurant, yet a large portion of the menu wasn’t available. That’s unacceptable. If you can’t provide the full menu late at night, don’t seat customers or change your posted hours. The staff clearly wanted to go home and didn’t care about service. This was the worst experience we’ve had here, which is disappointing because we’ve been loyal customers. Management seriously needs to fix this — it feels misleading and unprofessional

Really want to like this place I was coming almost every week however the last 3 visits Iv had Iv had to leave early because there’s this disgusting black goo that keeps dripping from the vent above the bbq and onto the grill itself - I think it must be creosote. A shame because this place used to be good but Iv never seen this type of thing happen at other kbbq spots before so I’m just concerned they aren’t cleaning the place well - and if the vent is doing that what’s to say the rest of the restaurant isn’t up to cleanliness standards?
