Dined in this amazing mexican restaurant a few times. We can confidently say that it is a very happy environment where every person that works here is cheerful and excited to greet you. Service is great because they seem to be over staffed every time. Music and vibes are simply authentic which is quite a surprise- given you’re in the middle of mountains. AND LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT FOOOOOD! The salsa is home made and marvelous! The michelada is very tasty and I’m pretty sure they make the juice from scratch. We have had tamales, enchiladas and pozoles and most of their deserts and have been impressed every single time. The cuisine is fresh and flavorful. I’m generally critical of food but I give this place a SOLID 5/5 (which is a big deal 🤭) Go eat there if you’re in the area; you won’t regret it.

Delicious food, great service and a comfortable patio. We tried this place after a day of riding trails in the mountains and had an amazing experience. From the delicious house made salsa to the flavorful queso, it was all good. We ordered the tacos al carbon and each of the 3 tacos were large and rich with delicious flavors. The rice and beans were good as well. The plates were large serving sizes and we ended up taking leftovers home too. The service staff were friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the meal and experience and will be returning here again when we visit. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Mexican meal in the winterpark or Frasier areas. Great job!

This is by far the best Mexican food in Frazier for the best price. I highly recommend the street tacos with steak (number 19 on the menu), avoid going on Friday night it was packed and I waited 45 minutes to get seated. Would recommend the LA Burra it's a burrito the size of a baby.

This place is fire. And I’m not saying that because that’s also its name. I had the 5 taco deal and loved every one. Great pastor, for sure. My wife had the mole and loved it. Staff was very nice and offered tequila right when we got here. This is an amazing Mexican joint for a mountain town. I’d give it more stars if I could.

We were in last month (August), but I had to speak up for this great find - a not so hidden gem in Fraser. We had good timing w/a late lunch, and the hostess/ server greeted us warmly and remained very cordial. My husband chose the chimichanga platter, & I got their Mexican pizza - but of course, sharing had to happen! Both selections were yummy. Also worth noting: that Mexican pizza was abundant and so good! We opted for to-go boxes to leave room for trying the apple chimichanga, and we were glad - stuffed BUT happy and satisfied all round!

Found this little gem while visiting Colorado! The food here is sooooo good! The Margaritas are fantastic! We went twice in the same week… yes it’s that good!!! They give you plenty of food for the price! This is definitely a must try!!

I came here to celebrate my birthday. Our waitress was amazing. The coronarita was the best I've ever had. I've haven't been that drunk in so long. The only thing that bummed me out was the cheese in my chili relleno wasn't melted. Other than that, it was amazing.

Favorite Mexican place up in the mountains. Food was delicious, margaritas were tasty and strong, service was great. We had a baby and they were able to easily accommodate us. Portions are huge! During the weekend it can get busy cause it's amazing. Update for 2021. They accommodated for covid. Seating is separated which unfortunately means less tables available. Food and service still great 👍

I was nervous eating Mexican food in Colorado and I was pleasantly surprised to find such great Mexican food. We live in Texas and visited Colorado and this resturant was delicious. The mole was good sweet but not too sweet with a slight spice kick. Everyone enjoyed their meals ans the wait staff was friendly and helpful. Ambiance had the feel of a typical Mexican resturant.

Service was fast and helpful. Salsa with the chips was not the best, had a bitter taste. Atmosphere was fine definitely a busy spot in town. Had higher hopes for the food wasn’t overly flavorful. Big portions though.

Margarita's poured out of plastic jugs. That says it all you need to know, but the grilled chicken lime salad confirms the poor quality of food preparation. A bed of lettuce, a couple of huge slices on onion, two poorly sliced pieces of tomato, and a few cucumbers and radishes. A ton of tortilla chips all smothered in way too much salty dressing. No finesse, no savoir faire. It is all about making profits off the tourists.

Food was meh, and they add 20% gratuity for parties of +5, and an additional service fee of about $6. Food is overpriced for the amount and flavor, for instance, $16 on average without drink. Maybe it was the section I was in, but there was only 1 toilet for men and 1 for women which was total chaos once it gets busy. Restrooms were pretty nasty. 4 adults and 6 kids came to about $160 with $40 being fees/gratuity.

There’s a certain kind of disappointment that stings more in a small mountain town, where the options are few and you just want one honest meal. Azteca used to be that—a solid plate of beans and tequila to cut the cold. But this last visit? A cacophony of chaos. We were sat next to a window we didn’t ask for, serenaded by a waiter who whistled like a bored canary in a prison yard. The nachos came bone-in—literally—and the margarita tasted like a frat party hangover in a plastic cup. Bathroom? Apocalypse. The kind that makes you question every bite. This wasn’t just bad food—it was a loud, oblivious mess served with a smirk. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere that still gives a damn.

Pretty disappointing experience. We ordered takeout and the fajitas were extremely oily and not tender at all. We also ordered three flans, which we were really excited about, but they tasted like an overly sweet omelet. Flan should be smooth and creamy, not full of bubbles — they were awful. If you don’t want to ruin your dinner, I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this place. It has nothing to do with Mexican cuisine. Overpriced and very poor quality.

Very inattentive servers. We had to go and ask for someone to come to our table to be our server. Even when someone finally came to take out order, the service remained very poor. We got our food, but that was it. Very brusk and disinterested staff. On top of that food was not great at all. Very chewy steak, chips were all crumbs, salsa was very thin. Not at all worth the time or cost. Do NOT recommend at all.

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want food poisoning. The chicken came out raw. Our server barely apologized and then did not take it off the bill. The server was so rude, never came back to check on us, never asked if we needed anything or needed drink refills. The atmosphere is very crowded, our chairs barely had any room. The server then added 20% tip automatically to the bill and while I usually tip very well, the service and raw food was NOT deserving of 20%. Terrible experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
