Very fun spot with attentive and friendly bartenders. We found our way here after a ghost tour and we had so much fun. There was karaoke going on and the DJ was open to requests aside from that.
Did not expect to happen upon such a charming spot very last minute (just after midnight) and be met with truly good energy, solid staffing and service, and absolutely killer food. Chef knows what he is doing and I will be jonesing for that smash burger for a long long long time.
I've read some sketchy reviews about this place but We had an Amazing time there last night. Drinks were Good, Food was really Good and good priced and this is a smoking allowed place. Which I have not seen in years. I will definetly be back. We all had a Great time. Almost forgot Best Onion Rings I've had in years
Sunny is the bar tender I’ve ever had, I would recommend this place to anybody coming to Fredericksburg travel far and wide for this place!

From the moment I sat down at the bar, it was clear I was in good hands. Allie isn’t just pouring drinks — they’re creating an atmosphere. Personable without being overbearing, attentive without hovering, and fast without sacrificing quality — they’ve mastered the balance that makes a good bartender great.
A few weeks back me and a friend took a weekend trip to Fredericksburg, we stopped here at Buc’s and it was pretty dang great. Felt like my hometown bar, the staff were super nice. I think it was the managers birthday and everyone was in great spirits. From the security, to bar staff, to the DJ everyone was really great. Wasn’t hard to get onto a pool table and they had other options of things to do as well. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. They offer pizza, it was a little heavy for my taste but perfect bar food in general and came in handy at the end of the night. We ended up coming on karaoke night which was so fun! Great crowd, good energy! And if we are back in the area we will definitely be stopping by! Went back the next night and was greeted back like family, which made that night just as good as the first.
The people that work there really love their job. Pizza was good and the DJ was amazing. Our girls trip was definitely a blast because of this bar. We had actually left for a bit to bar hop and then came back because no place compared.

Barbara and grill. Baked potatoes and pizza. I must say the pizza was very good and reasonably priced. The DJ' s music was alittle loud and head banger type. Pool tables were busy. Fun time.
This is an excellent bar and grill off the beaten path. This is my preferred place in town to watch a game. There are many pool tables, juke box, and a dance floor. Multiple rooms and outdoor seating allow you to spread out or enjoy some privacy with a group. The pizza is very tasty and is hand made. The staff is friendly and prompt. Don’t forget your id as everyone is carded.
Went here to watch football on a Saturday afternoon. The bartender found our game & got us drinks right away. We sat at the bar since that was the only TV he put it on. Normally I wouldn't care but they allow smoking there and people sitting at the bar were smoking. If you don't mind smoke, the service is great, the drinks are good, the patrons were friendly, & they have lots of TVs, seating, & games (pool, ping pong, etc). The kitchen opens at 7 (we left before that). They also have decent drink specials & they have Kareoke Fri & Sat night
I came here because it was recommended. I was told that I could not come in because I was to intoxicated even through it was from driving 4 hours to be and being completely sober. I do not recommend this establishment.
If you are not a local stay away. Bartender totally ignored us lucky a guy sitting at bar told us they have no waitress and we need to order at bar . The Bartender sat there a listened and never said a thing. I ask if they had food once again the "customer" sitting at there bar answered not the the employee "Bartender ". He said they only served food. Late night when peple are drunk.
They are so rude here. The owner and I guess bouncer are not used to non locals coming to the bar. They were rude to my whole group of friends and I. The only reason we had fun was because we had each other and didn’t let them intimidate us but they definitely tried to intimidate the guys in the group. Fredericksburg has so many other wonderful places that I will not be back here or recommend it to anyone.
Service is atrocious was handed a card for a free drink while walking downtown Fredricksburg, me and my GF pulled up to the bar and waited 25 min and weren’t so much as acknowledged even as others came and went with their drinks. I finally just gave the guy our card and walked away. The freebie wasn’t worth being ghosted by the staff
Horrible staff, pad tabs, will over serve and then call the police on you. Will 86 people and not give reasons why. The bouncer has assaulted many patrons.
I normally don't leave reviews but boy does this one deserve it. 1st let me say that my girlfriend got roofied here. And we basically had to carry her out on her first drink of the day. Then I found out later our bartender Jazmine double charged our card. So what was supposed to be $60 worth of drinks for our group turned into $120. This place is connected to a gas station. So that should tell you the obvious. Absolutely will not be back
The blonde bartender was the rudest bartender I have ever experienced. My husband and I came to Fredericksburg to celebrate our anniversary; however, this woman bartender made sure to let us know that our evening would not be special under any circumstances. I call her “this woman”, because she completely refused to give us her name. Right off the batt she had a ‘idgaf’ attitude, and as the night progressed, her demeanor was obvious that she was ready for my husband and I to leave ( It was a Tuesday night). She had no interest in providing the bare minimum of customer service and we will never return to this establishment.
A friend and I tried to come to Bucs to come and enjoy a “after party” for a bachelorette party and we got denied even though we ubered and there was a cop at the entrance. Nobody was intoxicated, we asked for video footage and was denied, when we asked to even get a sobriety test. I would never recommend this place with how rude the over weight bouncer was. Im surprised this place was recommended to us. As I’’m typing this the cop is getting into an altercation with someone that’s getting into an Uber and the bouncer is giving a girl a cigarette No bouncer, just cops hanging out on the side for I don’t know what for
We had a very disappointing experience at Buc’s. Upon arriving, we were denied entry simply because we had enjoyed a drink prior to coming. This policy, while potentially understandable for certain establishments, felt overly strict and unwelcoming in this instance. We came intending to spend money, enjoy the ambiance, and support the business, but instead, we were turned away without consideration. As paying customers who approached respectfully, we expected better hospitality and flexibility. The situation left us feeling unfairly judged and unwelcome. If this policy is strictly enforced, it should at least be clearly communicated upfront, as it’s not the norm for most bars. We won’t be recommending Buc’s to others, as there are plenty of establishments in the area that value customer service and know how to treat their guests
