We came here on a Friday night to watch a local jazz band the Mike Casper Jazz trio. The band was amazing and they do an excellent job of making sure that the music isn’t too loud for diners to chat comfortably, that’s so refreshing, thank you! The food we ordered was very good albeit they had a fairly limited menu. My husband had the fettuccine and I had a sandwich, both came out quickly. We ordered a bottle of wine, highlands forty one and it was very good. The atmosphere was incredible, great lighting, good sound and attentive waitstaff. The owner came around and checked in with us, he was also very engaging with the crowd when the band was finishing up. All and all we were very impressed with this little spot, they have a robust music lineup! The bathroom was clean and well stocked. My only issue was I asked for assistance in changing an upcoming reservation and no one remembered to follow up with me, all and all a very small problem and it was far outweighed by such a pleasant evening.
What a GEM of a find! We came for our 35th anniversary weekend. Loved everything about this quaint place. The Club has fabulous food and of course the music is great! We staying in the Wasserfall cabin. Perfect for 2 people. Antique yet fully modern. Definitely will be coming back here!
The music & food is spot on! Beautiful comfortable cabins, we are here… celebrating and ringing in our 17th New Year … 🫶🏻🎄 🥂
I came here with a group of friends! I had a lovely experience at this restaurant! The owners were incredibly sweet and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the live music during dinner. However, I do want to mention that the pasta I ordered was a bit lacking in flavor. Despite that, I’m eager to return and try some of the other dishes on the menu!
We had a great night there, amazing food and staff. We ordered a steak and wine by the glass, decent worldwide selection and they also have local wine produced there. Desserts are homemade and great too. Don’t miss the sunset!
We had a wonderful time, food is good, exceptional service, loved the music.
My wife and I were looking for live music on a Saturday evening to celebrate our anniversary and stumbled upon The Club at Barron’s Creekside—what a gem! The live music was full of oldies and great vibes, and the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. Just before sunset, the owner came by and suggested we head to their “sunset tower”—a short walk to an elevated spot with a breathtaking view of the hills, vineyards, and cottages. We watched the sun dip below the horizon and felt like we were in a postcard. Highly recommend this spot for a magical evening!
A definite place to stop. Such amazing and attentive service. The blues duet was fun and not so loud that you have to yell. The food was great and the scenery, WOW! I told my hubby I felt like I was in Italy, never been to Italy but it truly was an experience.
Great place great music didn't have dinner but a lot of wine and cheese Reason for no stars on food
Amazing find off the main road. Worth the few minutes to get there. Swedish history. Beautiful setting that's near a vineyard and Swedish style little houses. I had the salad. The others had different dishes. All of the food was excellent. Highly recommend. Oh, there was live music. The weather was perfect. We will be back.
We had a lovely dinner & live music evening at The Club. Super friendly staff, good wine & food and neat place to enjoy music with a pretty view. Highly recommend.
My husband and I had the most amazing time at THE CLUB. The owners made sure that we were well taken care of and had an awesome experience! The service and the food were fantastic! We are definitely visiting again!
Yesterday, we dined al fresco, celebrating our anniversary, at this enchanting wine bistro. It's off the beaten path yet close to downtown Fredericksburg. They had a blues guitarist playing last night and we thoroughly enjoyed him; the old grizzly blues man, Bill Reid. The food & wine was good and we'll definitely be back.

Such a sweet place! Not sure how they do it but it’s the perfect atmosphere of casual, nice, fun, and cool. Some people were dressed like “church nice” but others were very casual. We went on a Friday night and they had live music - there were two gentleman having an acoustic guitar set playing a mixture of fun and cool tunes. We had a group of about 12 and made a reservation ahead of time. Dog friendly, which is always a plus. The owner was absolutely delightful and the rest of the staff were courteous and kind. I’m not a big wine person, so I can’t provide any specifics, but they had a nice selection. I know it’s a whole big property, but we just hung at the restaurant. There’s gravel for parking and for some of the outdoor seating, so be aware if you have mobility concerns. The restaurant has covered and uncovered outdoor seating (and I think some indoor seats too, but can’t remember exactly since we were all outside). It was such a great time - would absolutely recommend.
Celebrated our anniversary in Fredericksburg and went here for dinner. Started to feel not great, so they packed up our dinner and we got to still eat great food at our Air BNB ❤️ will definitely be returning to enjoy the atmosphere more 😍

What I loved: the live music and singing, the sunset views, the upscale vibe, the menu. Loved the way my pork chop was prepared. They also give you time to drink their excellent wines (try the Cuvee Rosé!) without rushing you to order and leave. What could be better: Mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts needed seasoning cuz they were bland, and they were cold on our plates. Service was slow, and we had to ask for help several times. On the patio, the high top tables are too low for the chairs provided. I actually really enjoyed my meal and the dining experience at The Club at Barons Creekside. The location with expansive views is unique, the environment is very relaxed, and the loungey type music made for great surroundings. I’m hoping that the kitchen will clean up their quality control next time I visit, because I WILL be back again!
Delightful evening tonight at The Club! Everything was good… service, food, drinks! Mila was our server, she did a great job! Thanks! The food we ordered was all good: wedge salad, gumbo, NY strip and the burger. There was a problem with an over-cooked steak, but Mila had that solved in 10 minutes. Bernie Martini at the piano was so fun! Great music enjoyed by all. We were even treated to an Alp Horn performance by the owner, Daniel! We sampled the house wine, and enjoyed a nice white from Daniel’s native Switzerland, then a bottle of bubbles from Italy (most of that we brought home!) LOL A very enjoyable evening, we’d go back for sure!
Live music & wine bistro in a serene atmosphere. Was a nice stop before driving back to Austin. There was a great blues trio, we really enjoyed their gig.

Nice little spot. The service was great, the live jazz was fun, the atmosphere is relaxing but if you’re looking for great food this isn’t the place. I got a pork chop on a plate with a side salad no other side and it was over seasoned and my wife had shrimp taco’s with over cooked shrimp and no sauce to at least make them not so dry. Added annoying feature was the gnats and flies. Plus side was we were able to donate some money to cover the meal for a group of search and rescue men who were tired and hungry and had come in. So all in all. Would I go back? Probably but not until I see what else Fredericksburg has to offer.

Was very disappointed with my experience. Beautiful views and a super nice atmosphere. Our waitress however was not the best she barely acknowledged us and didn’t know about any of the wines. When we asked for recommendations she responded with “I don’t know” then we asked if they had a moscato and she responded with “I don’t know.” I then proceeded to inform her of my very severe nut allergy and got the charcuterie board with no nuts. Then when it was brought out there was no explanation about the board that was given. We asked cheese name and the contents of the jelly/jam and what the dried fruits were. The waitress was completely guessing about it. She said that there was mango in the jam and dried mango in the dried fruit section(which it’s actually dried papaya) I will give her the benefit of the doubt on this one, but people who have a nut allergy are normally also allergic to mangos. Then my friend took a bite of the chocolate pieces just to find out there were chocolate covered almonds on the “nut free” board I asked for. Kind of ridiculous the staff doesn’t know the ingredients on the very short menu. And even more ridiculous that the waitress at a vineyard didn’t know anything about the wines. We were going to order more food, but I didn’t feel confident that my dish would be nut free. Lack of knowledge, lack of professional, and lack of an effort is why I rate it what I did.
