Matt and I had large pepperoni cheese pizza with five medium fingers. Appetizer of crab stuffed mushrooms. Excellent service and meal was great. Definitely took big take home box. Also couldn't resist tiramisu and cannoli to go both very good. I was good and tried a bite. Yes we were out to eat 😁🤣

It was great food. One of the best beef on wecks i ever had. Peanut butter pie was great too. Other did at the table was lobster ravioli which was great.

Good food at reasonable prices! The waitress was very attentive - with a super sense of humor - and we had a great time. All 3 couples agreed to come back the next time we're in the area.

The pizza is not bad for "upstate pizza" its not like New York City pizza. It's more like Digiorno. Thickish crust but not pan pizza. The breadsticks with parmagian are very good. The Women that work there are awesome. So nice and efficient. The atmosphere is old school. Nice little bar area. Tv's everywhere. Looks like a great place to have a drink, eat something, and watch the game. If our son winds up going to Fredonia in the fall, I will definitely hang out there on parents weekend!

As an entry level food critic I don’t have the most exquisite pallet, so this review is for the average food eater. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, small hole-in-the-wall type feel, however, there is a subtle undertone seeping out of not quite right as there are roku tv’s at the booths. The service was good. The food was good if you aren’t paying attention. However, if you are looking for an stupendously prepared meal, avoid dejohns. Definitely worth at least one visit, would not recommend exceeding 2 visits.

Visited this local cozy restaurant and found the atmosphere welcoming, but the food was greatly lacking in my opinion. My company ordered the roast beef and mashed potatoes, I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo with a side of fries, we both ordered tea. The serving sizes were decent but the brown gravy was chunky and clearly canned gravy, the roast beef was fatty, mashed potatoes were dehydrated not fresh and the Alfredo sauce seemed flavorless, close to water. For those meals and a piece of cheesecake was over 50$. Very quickly made and the hostess was kind, the kitchen staff should be wearing gloves for sanitary reasons.

We have ordered multiple times from here and have had major problems each time. The first time they forgot to make our order and then we had to wait an hour in store to get it. The second time my mom ordered a beef on weck sandwhich and the meat was absolutely rancid.

Absolutely love the atmosphere, very calming, enjoyable for conversation, however with the food and service not that great ... waited about 20 min for a salad ... then waited about another 40 for the food to come out , the pasta uncooked and dry, the tasting isn't bad at all. Don't get me wrong for this moment it is a one and done.... until the next time I decide to come back. Until then, its an alright kind of bummed experience.

High hopes, lots of potential ...low results. Party of two. Booths, bar and tables available for seating. We came in when it was busiest around 1800. Only one server and a barkeep were on duty. That would normally be plenty for a place of this size, but not this evening for the number of guests present. The dimly lit atmosphere set up a promising meal. We were seated in the back corner of a 3 seasons room and basically forgotten about. The waitress was quite busy. The drinks did not come for some time. The kitchen window showed a younger kitchen staff perhaps the reason for the food being so so. The food was subpar and bland at best. Crabmeat stuffed mushrooms were watery, flavorless and needed more time under the salamander..Wrong order was taken down for one of us. We had the homemade alfredo with grilled chicken. . seemingly reheated burnt chicken does not add flavor..and the Alfredo was seemingly again reheated with very little taste. A cup of soup with noodles thrown on top cant be considered the soup of the day....I can't blame severs for being busy during dinner rush hour. This was a second time here to give the restaurant another shot. The food was just as bland as the first time. Although affordable I would pass this one up.

Ordered the Angus burger, wings (supposed to be hot they were plain), pizza logs (tasted like they were frozen) through Door Dash. Terrible experience. First of all they gouge the prices on door dash and no I'm not talking about the app's fees. DeJohn's lists their burger price on their menu as 13.95 but on Door Dash? 17.95. And that is WITHOUT anything on it so no cheese, no lettuce, no onion, no tomato. That's right 17.95 for an overcooked beef patty, bun and soggy fries. I called them to politely discuss the discrepancy between prices and the lady who answered first tried to make sense of it, and nope the numbers didn't add up and then she said it's the owner who does that with door dash. When asked if the burger in the restaurant came with cheese etc she said it doesn't. That's their feature Burger and yet, nothing on it and everything to add which should be default is charged extra?? I asked if there's anything they could do for me because I spent way too money on less than mediocre food with dishonest prices she said, "nope." I'll never order again. Buyers beware!

This used to be our favorite restaurant for pizza and chicken tenders in Fredonia. Tonight our meal was awful. The service was terrible, the pizza was flat and burnt. We ordered a pizza and tender special. It used to be the best in Fredonia! The pizza came out and was terrible. The tenders are a lot smaller than they used to be. The tenders didn’t come out until 20 minutes later. I asked for a second beer, she took my glass with about a 1 1/2” of beer left in it! I don’t know what has changed but I will not be back until they go back to the thick crust, bigger tenders and better service.

I can absolutely understand when a restaurant is understaffed. But it took 20 minutes just for them to bring us menus. And the place is pretty small and rather cramped so it was unlikely we'd go unnoticed. It was not that busy either. Also our order couldn't even be served together. My mom got the lasagna and the waitress told me that my order was taking a little longer than expected and would be out in like 5 minutes, which is okay I understand things happen. 25 minutes later, I still don't have my food and I'm forced to get a to-go box because I had a concert I was performing in and then had to scramble to get there on time. An understaffed restaurant can only make so good of an experience, but there wasn't even an attempt made to create a good customer experience.

Came to DeJohns for the first time, being a Dunkirk native all my life this will definitely be a one and done. Seems like only 1 server on a pretty busy night. Waited 20 minutes just to get drinks, another 15 for salads and bread, more people came in and the service just declined from there. Food was cold when it finally came out after 35 minutes total of sitting here, then just asked for boxes and a check because there is no point to sit here and eat cold food was told we had to wait because they have other tables ahead that need to be taken care of. Now after an hour of being here we are sitting here just waiting for boxes and a check…
