Every recipe he creates is special, but the rasam, dal, sambar, and chicken curry are absolute must-tries — the list honestly goes on! We feel so fortunate to have come across him and to experience his amazing meals over the years. Everything he makes comes straight from the heart and reminds you of home, no matter where that is.

I ordered food from House of Curries for our events twice and referred to so many friends. Outstanding food and even better service! Satish delivered an incredible menu that exceeded all expectations. The quality of the cooking is top-tier, and the delivery was flawlessly timed. Reliable, professional, and delicious. The chef/owner is extremely kind and humble, which reflects beautifully in the food. Every dish tastes like comforting home-cooked food. For everything priced under $10, the quality and taste are truly exceptional and rare. The food genuinely reminds me of my mom’s cooking. I’ve tried the ragi annam with chicken curry, pav with keema, puri with chicken, and the laddu—which gives such lovely temple vibes. Their veg and non-veg pickles are also divine. I keep ordering their raagi annam chicken curry and chicken sambar rice almost everyday. Most importantly, unlike typical restaurant food, the meals feel light, healthy, and didn’t cause weight gain. There’s so much more to try, and I’m really looking forward to enjoying more authentic, soulful food like this. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love the lunch box from House of Currys! The pepper chicken curry is outstanding—flavorful and perfectly cooked. Enjoy every bite. The burelu are amazing too; it’s been a long time since I’ve had ones this good. The lunch service is reliable, and I genuinely look forward to it every day—it truly makes my day. I had an amazing experience here! The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the Crab Masala with parotta, Mutton Kheema Biryani, and Chicken Fry Piece Biryani and everything was full of flavor. It was actually my first time ever trying crab, and I honestly loved it so much! The Crab Masala was incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked. It turned out to be my favorite dish. The biryanis were also excellent rich, aromatic, and packed with flavor. Overall, one of the best meals I’ve had. Definitely coming back again!

I recently ordered catering from House of Currys for a dinner party, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The mutton biryani was the clear highlight — rich, aromatic, and incredibly authentic, reminiscent of true South Indian Ambur-style biryani. All my guests absolutely loved it! The chicken curry was flavorful and savory, though I personally would have preferred a bit more heat. Still, it was very well-balanced and complemented the biryani nicely. As for the Malabar Parotta, I’ll admit I served it a couple of hours after pickup, so it lost some of its freshness — I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt here, since the other dishes were top-notch and likely it would have been excellent straight off the stove. A special shoutout to Satish, the owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and genuinely eager for feedback. I also love that House of Currys rotates seasonal menu items every week, which keeps things exciting. I’m definitely a returning customer, and I’m already looking forward to trying what’s next on their menu!

As a huge Ragi Mudde fan, I can say I’ve never had such a perfect consistency paired with such a delicious vegetarian curry. That meal alone convinced us to cater food from them for our New Year’s Eve party. Our guests loved the spread. The Honey Chilli Fry was a big hit among kids. We loved the Masala Vadas, Pooris, Potato Sagu Curry, and Paneer Biryani. The Chicken Tava Fry was a favorite among the non-vegetarians. To top it off, the Laadus were phenomenal—they reminded us exactly of Tirupathi Laadus. If you are looking for authentic, high-quality South Indian food, I highly recommend checking them out. Paneer Biryani and Brinjal Guttakaya were absolutely amazing—each and every bite was full of rich flavor. Rose milk and mango lassi had a real, authentic taste; I didn’t feel any artificial flavor at all. Sathish bro is incredibly kind and warm in the way he talks. He takes care of customers like a truly caring and wonderful human being. You can feel the love and passion in the food he prepares and serves. Authentic Kerala food. We had house chicken curry with puris, chicken biryani, idli sambar and filter coffee. Chicken curry, idli sambar and coffee were great and very authentic. Chicken biryani came as a bit of surprise for a Mumbaiite like me. I was expecting chicken and rice to be cooked together using biryani prepared in north I Dian style. That was not the case. Rice was cooked separately, albeit with whole aromatic spices like cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, etc. and chicken curry was kept on top. Both, rice as well as chicken, were very flavorful and cooked fantastic. Filter coffee is very nostalgic with a sizable head of froth on top of the coffee. Clearly showed lot of effort and attention to detail. Talked with Chef and owner, Mr Sathish. Genuine and knowledgeable person. He mentioned about them serving CKP cuisine from Maharashtra. It is not listed on the menu that we saw on the monitors there. Being a Mumbaiite myself, CKP cuisine from Maharashtra is near and dear to my heart. Mr. Satish said that they serve crab masala, Pomphret fry, Baangda (aka Mackerel), kolumbi masala (prawns) that are prepared in CKP style. Must make a visit again just for that food. Place itself is bit small. Very limited seats. Mostly catering to take-out crowd. We, however, dined in. TLDR: Great authentic Thrissur/ Kerala food prepared with whole aromatic spices. Very competitively priced. Predominantly take out. Ask for CKP-Maharashtrian dishes when you go there. They are not on menu.
