Incredible food! Got a plate which felt very balanced. Food isn't overly salty like other Mediterranean fast food restaurants I've had. Friendly team members shared a sample of some dessert with us too :) Probably the best fast casual food out there!

I went to Nick The Greek at Valley Fair, but not in my local area. I have to say that they serve good Greek food there and the atmosphere is very nice for a place that’s small. I’ve been going to Mediterranean restaurants, but want to go to the one that specifically serves Greek food. The service is nice and fast especially for those who are on their lunch breaks.

Place is clean. Chicken gyro salad was amazing, and the plate is brought to you by the employees. Fast service as well. Would definitely come back as the food tastes fresh and feels good on the gut.

This was my first time eating here. I was not disappointed. The food arrived hot and tasted great. I would order here again. The chicken souvlaki plate and tomato/cucumber salad is bomb!

This is my second time here but this time I was dining in and loved the place as it was neat and clean with staff wearing masks and making sure customers are also wearing masks. Food is excellent and delicious besides the staff being helpful and courteous. We had gyro chicken bowl and chicken wraps and garlic fries, believe me those garlic fries are worth a try.

I originally dined in, but my food didn't arrive for a long time. The restaurant gave me a small cake as an apology. Since my friends had already finished eating, I wanted to change my order to take out. The restaurant felt very sorry and helped me change my order to take out while also giving me a refund. Staffs are very nice and with good service.

Honestly I probably would not come back, just because there are better options available in the area, but there is nothing wrong, you get exactly what you order, it just was not very amazing / exicing. Do try this place at least once though!

This place is popular on Doordash/Uber eat, so there were also a lot of online orders being processed there, while walk in customers order seemed to be impacted by this. I may give that place another chance at some point later, because the food was good, but only if I am not that hungry though.

Quick meal for two, lemon soup, chicken siuvlaki, garlic fries, salad and Pepsi in a glass bottle. All good. Parking in the evening was plentiful.

This place replaces Yalla. We ordered the lamb & beef gyro bowl, falafel bowl and the kids bowl with chicken. Coming to the quantity first, it was more than enough for us. Now, about the quality. Both the rice and the salad were flavourful. Falafel was tasty as well. However, the chicken, lamb & beef was a tad bit too dry. I compared the gyro I get from The Halal Guys. Their meats are very soft and moist. Otherwise, this was a welcome change.

Nick the Greek is tucked away in the Whole Foods Mowry Plaza and has good food for the price (4.4/5). Their falafel is fried nicely, and is soft on the inside. Put into a gyro bowl it all comes together well. However their garlic fries were a little soggy. The service staff is fast and attentive, and our waiter Vannya was helpful (4.4/5).

Mediocre food. There are many better places for gyro in Fremont and food here doesn’t stand out. The greek salad was bland and chicken quantity was too less for additional $5. The restaurant was clean and service was good.

Food tastes good but the portion is quite small for what you pay for. The service was quite bad… I ordered a bowl in person, and when I saw that the order was ready on the counter, the girl who was working the front just left it there. When more food was made, she started wrapping those for the pick-ups. She clearly knew it was my order as she handed it to me after she finished wrapping everything else. I understand that she was working by herself, but leaving my food cold on the bar just to wrap the mobile orders who weren’t there yet left a bad taste in my mouth.

The gyro was not fresh at all fry’s were old meat was very salty . This place was better when first opened. Must b new owners . Not worth $13 should have went to chilis

Updated 2/26: learned that Nick the Greek was acquired by a corporation that operates a bunch of lackluster fast food concepts throughout California. Then the chicken started getting fattier and chewier (the chicken gyro, or shaved meat). Gross. And now, on these last 2 visits, I ended up with a totally messed up stomach shortly after eating here. Plus…the restaurant smells awful on recent visits to the point they’ve had the front doors open to air it out. I emailed management re: the fatty/chewy meat but did not receive a response. Something’s definitely up with this location. Beware.

Didn’t eat in, however after being a fan of Nick the Greek for almost two decades. I was completely disappointed with my food I got. Knowing how rotisserie meats work specifically lamb/beef gyro meat. I know I got the bottom of the bag/ last bits before the cone was discarded. I got over burnt exterior and raw inside chunks of meat. It’s supposed to be sliced… if I wasn’t starving at the time I received my food I would have driven it back myself. (Shaking my head)

I, together with my husband went there Sunday (last night, 2/8/2026) at around 9:00 - 9:10 PM. Before going we checked the store hours, which Google says the store closes at 10PM. Upon entering, we felt uneasy with the staff's reaction but brushed it off thinking that maybe they just don't really greet customers upon entering. When we were ready to order, my husband greeted the staff member but got no response and was just given a "snobbed" look that my husband decided not to push through with our order because we felt we're not welcome. As we were leaving I saw them talking and the other girl was moving her head, left and right as if she was disappointed with us and we did something wrong by going an hour before they close. Mind you, we heard an order came in (perhaps doordash/pick up) so we thought we're still good to order. Did we deserve that? I'm not sure. Maybe they were tired? I mean, aren't we all tired?

I doubt I will visit your chain again.
