Stopped in there for lunch today... My friends had sandwiches short stock salad and I had a chorizo breakfast burrito. All delicious, reasonable prices. Very good staff. Incredibly cool paint job with the interior plus a rear patio. Love the place!
I have been here twice after my bike ride for breakfast and coffee . The Vietnamese coffee is my favorite. The ambience is great especially the back side of the restaurant with all those lovely plants. You can keep your bike next to you while you eat. The owners are very welcoming and have a great sense of humor. Will visit again.
Very cute cafe with a unique menu. The ladies and gentlemen who work here are very friendly and accommodating. The food was really good and they dont burn their coffee. The area it's in is wonderful for a weekend exploration too. Highly recommend for a lazy Sunday stroll.
Quaint, small business owned, homemade bread, great coffee, unique sandwiches and fun atmosphere kind of place. Prices are amazing. Located in the special place of Niles.
Cute little cozy café. It was a rainy🌧Sunday morning and my daughter and I were up to something good to eat. I was in the mood for a Mocha so right away we hit up Yelp and came across The Nile Café. We took a drive over Mission Blvd into Niles & found the Café. As we walked in we noticed it was quite small but quite cozy. We were greeted with a friendly smile and given menus. We put our order in. One breakfast burrito to share an Ice Tea & of course My Café Mocha. Exactly what I came for. Found out that the Café has been here for a little over 20 yrs. The breakfast burrito 🌯was scrupulous yhe tea was terrific & the Mocha☕was marvelous. Thank you Ladies♡
Upon arrival we instantly new this place was a gem. Rich with the Niles community history, this place is warm and welcoming. Along with this friendly environment the food we ordered was absolutely amazing. This place also bakes their own bread 🍞 which is a must try. Much love to the owners ❤️. Thank you for the warm friendly environment you have created for this community. 😊
Such delicious sandwiches made with love! The tuna with the peanuts is unexpected and incredible. Love coming here and sitting in the outside garden.
Great food and service. Nice seating inside, on sidewalk, and in garden patio out back. Perfectly sized sandwiches - not huge like some places but plentiful. Good value ($7.25 for sandwich + chips) although different price online - cash only.
Lovely outdoor garden setting in back with lots of flowers😊 dogs and kid-friendly. Friendly staff. Good food. Good prices. Great place to relax and chill. Nice vibe😊😊😊 try the peanut wrap, scrambles with home made wheat bread, pear omelette. Great coffee drinks too. Creative menu.
My go to place for weekend breakfast and brunches,. I love the place first because of the name and the beautiful murals that reminds me of the motherland, second because the food is amazing, I always get the eggplant omelettes and it always on point. I also get the soy latte, I ask for a medium and it is feels like a large and the taste is heavenly. I sit outside in the backyard that has a nice vibe. Love the friendly and smiley staff.
Love this cafe! Great energy, quirky and fun interior, awesome back yard seating area. Run by a lovely and friendly family that seems to be an active and supportive part of the Niles community. They certainly have a lot of regulars & will remember your name & food preferences. :-) Vietnamese coffee is out of this world, and sandwiches are unique and made with incredibly tasty homemade bread. You can buy a freshly made loaf to take home as well. Salads are tasty and creative. Wish they're open later, but getting up a little earlier on a weekend to get there in time is well worth it.
This is a really nice small Cafe on a side street in Niles. The portions are just right and very well cooked. Prices are very reasonable. I love sitting in the patio. There is plenty of shade or sun, depending on your preference. And it's very peaceful out there. If you like people watching, there's a couple of tables in front.
So this is my to go place for my vietnamese coffee and breakfast too. When i want quiet me time or family time ill come here. This place is to chill not rush and go if your hungry eat a banana before you come relax enjoy the atmosphere. Employee are wonderful there is 1 she a little stressed but she good.the grey haired lady is a Gem💎 be nice to the employee cause they are and will be wonderful 😊 to you. In the back it's beautiful seating close but nice
This is a small whole in the wall down the street from Skillets on I street. I must say the food is WAY better then skillet. Your plate will not be overloaded with food, but just enough. The service is alittle slow but definitely worth the wait.
Went to The Nile for brunch with a couple of friends who were raving about it, and was not disappointed! The atmosphere is fun and unique, the food was delicious, and the staff attentive and friendly.
Funky little shop with some backyard seating. Can be slow when crowded. Very nice staff if you're nice to them. AC is by fan not forced. The clientele are mostly locals. Fontina Pear sandwich is my favorite here.
A very well-loved downtown cafe. The prices were surprisingly low for such good, filling food. The two ladies there were so sweet and considerate of us. Will definitely be back for more :)
Love this funky hole-in-the-wall breakfast place run by a couple of awesome hard working women. Fresh food cooked to order and a nice coffee are the best things for a great start to your day. It's small, there are only a couple of people working, so if you are in a hurry, this is not the spot for you. Locals love it and I recommend the homemade bread.
I have a funky coffee bar on the east coast, so my palette is very picky for deep, rich espresso. This place is close to my business location in the bay and has super yummy espresso drinks and breakfast. I love the veggie scramble w/o squash add potatoes with a side of multi grain bread. Fuels my entire morning! The staff is as sweet as back home, and the perfectly sized menu offers something homemade and scrumptious for everyone. Also, ur supporting a small female owned minority business. Absolutely LOVE Nile Cafe!!
I with family every week and become a regular since we move to Fremont 3 years ago. It started simply with a friendly staff. Yes the service can be slow as they have an absolutely small kitchen and always understaff given they are a small family business. But it’s always well forgiven for me as I know they are all dedicated to serve those tasty breakfast I always love. Their bread, omelet and scramble egg.... regardless of the styles are always my favorite
Such an awesome little jewel. Warm atmosphere, good food, in a really cool building. The portion sizes are perfect for those of us that don’t want 3 meals in one sitting. The house coffee is strong and delicious. We will be back! Thank you!
Delightful cute café! Their service is super friendly and fast, and the food is great! The patio in the back is the cutest full of plants and shade ** They only accept Venmo, Zelle or cash
Delicious and beautifully presented “Special Avocado Toast”. You may choose “with or without egg.” The Nile Cafe is such a relaxing spot along the Alameda Creek Trail in downtown Niles, we always look forward to biking and eating here twice a week.
I love the Nile Cafe. Quirky decorations, lovely back patio, good food and coffee. The service can be a little slow at busy times but that is only because it is a family run, small business and people are willing to wait for good food. There is table service, so no need to wait in line at the register, find a seat and enjoy the surroundings. I love the back patio.
Great breakfast!!!!! The bread is homemade and everything is cooked to perfection! My omelette was amazing! The scramble and the french toast were both incredible! I would really suggest thus place! It is a small cozy cafe with lots of paintings and murals all over the walls! You will never get bored with all if the different colors and many details! Its in the heart of Niles too! So you can enjoy a beautiful stroll downtown as well!
Interesting place! Breakfast and coffee were good!
Cute eclectic cafe with a relaxed area and fantastic backyard patio area. It's a one lady operation but she's efficient and patient. Meal size was perfect and delicious. My new favorite spot.
This is a hidden gem. A nice little place serves good food and coffee. Take a stroll in the downtown and chill out in their back patio.
It is classy with a nice backyard to have the coffee/meals. They accept cash, Venmo or Zelle. I was satisfied with price and service
A wonderful home cooking style. Perfect for a lunch date with the wife. The price is affordable $$.

It’s a nice cozy spot. Liked their eggplant omelet and friendly servers!
Casual and classic - expected consistency prevails; Great coffee, great family style workers making it, and a very welcong eclectic setting. Cups twice the size of the overpriced competition with low quality coffee at Devout cheaper... And friendlier... Support good businesses ran by good people!

the place is cool. looks like the owner converted a regular coffee shop into a small restaurant. the food is good and the prices are great. however, i feel like she's taken on too much. we got there today(8/25/23) at 8:30am. she was trying to do everything alone. my standard breakfast was great but i never got my side of handfries. not a big deal at all but bummed i didn't get them. i like the hearty homemade bread. only came with grape jelly. not sure there were other choices but only coming with a single packet of jelly isn't ideal. a helper came and that helped but i think its going to be a tough go if the service level doesn't improve even with good food. again, liked the place but not top on my list to go back to.
Super cute restaurant with a delightful garden setting in back and Egyptian murals (The Nile) in front. The omlettes were very good, and I was scooping the last drop of my Vietnamese coffee with a spoon! This would be the sort of place to visit often and linger over a leisurely brunch.
We take walks along the Niles Canyon Staging Area leading into the creek and discovered this place after a nice walk and wanting to stay out in the beautiful weather. Not sure why but we had a bit of trouble finding the place because it is narrow on the side street as opposed to on the main street and easy to pass up if you don't know what you are looking for. This is a dog friendly place which we wanted since we hike with our dog. There is plenty of street parking and a big lot nearby so you should have no issues finding a place to keep your car. Once you find the place and come in there are a couple small tables out front and more seating inside, but if you go all the way to the back and out the back door you will come to the garden seating. It feels a lot like attending a very casual homely party in a friends back yard with eclectic seating options ranging from chairs to small love seat couch-bench things and some with covered umbrellas to keep the sum out of your face. Let's talk the food. First off, it's good. I think the main thing here is it that it is not fancy. It is exactly what you would expect being a classic cafe style menu. Turkey and ham sandwiches, classic brunch/breakfast. Coffees and juices, etc. I had a White chocolate mocha and it came in a gigantic cup. It was good but too sweet and on my way out I heard another guest comment about how overly sweet it was as well. I think they should cut that back a bit. But, the star of the cafe is really their bread. I ordered an omelet and my wife the classic breakfast with over easy eggs. I think the eggs were cooked perfectly on her over easy and I loved my omelet which was not greasy at all. But the bread. Thick slice of HOMEMADE bread that was absolutely wonderful. Yes, it was dense and filling, and yes it was absolutely fresh. I can't express to you how nice it is to have good fresh bread and how different it is than commercial sliced bread or even a roll or bun for that matter. We've been here twice now and even the house sandwiches are made from this homemade bread and it works so well. OK. Here's the rough part. Atmosphere is great. Food is great. Even the price is shockingly great in today's costs. Surprisingly reasonable and on the lower side. Service although very friendly... is moderate to slow to get your order. Food comes quick. Getting your bill... takes... forever. And this is consistent on 2 visits. First time was ungodly long and they were busy but 2nd time was quicker but still long. It was only OK because we had no where to be so we had enough patience to weather the wait, but more patience that we should have had to endure for a business to take our money. The only other thing you need to considered is that if you like the garden seating, a windy day can make it bad out there so try and go on a calm and mild =weathered day since you also cannot guarantee you can get a table with sun covering as well. All, the food is good, the prices are great in this economy. It is friendly and a nice atmosphere. Be ready for a potentially difficult time getting your bill and eat if you are in casual mode and not in a rush. You just won't fit in here if you are. I recommend it but know what the shortcomings are heading in.
The Nile Cafe amusingly leaves off the “s” of the Niles neighborhood and uses that as an excuse to embrace Egyptian iconography. Around ten tables fit inside the small cafe, but there’s also a patio hidden away out back. I loved all the vibrant colors throughout. Great ratio of filling to egg and a good sausage and spinach omelette overall. I opted to add “hanfries,” which, of course, are home-fried potatoes. They use an original seasoning blend; if I had to guess, I’d say dry Italian seasonings sautéed with the potatoes. The hanfries’ butter was definitely browned, which is a turnoff for some people, but I enjoyed the extra nuttiness it contributed. I’d have liked more salt, but there are shakers at the table. Toast is also available for an extra charge. My hot Vietnamese coffee was plenty tasty and filling for a small. Condensed milk will have that effect!
Great service, good food, pleasant atmosphere at a reasonable price. Nile Chicken Sandwich $7.25 California Turkey Swiss cheese Lunch Special:, sandwich, salad, and a drink $7.50 Caprese salad: $8.50 Indoor & outdoor seating. Upcharge for credit card usage (4%)
This place is cozy and comfortable for breakfast, staff is kind, tables are clean and overall a good experience. I just don’t give the five stars because food is average, the toast is just something you can prepare at home, so it’s good but nothing outstanding.

This is one of our family’s favorite place for brunch. We have been here for many times. Food is good and price is reasonable. However I want to complain for today’s experience. Our whole family went there to celebrate my mom’s birthday today, which includes 2 kids, 2 toddlers and 5 adults. We did not order too many food and only 5 big plates since the kids were full already. We asked for 4 extra plates to share the food but the waitress said each extra plate required $2.59. I think they just didn’t want to provide this service because our order is not big enough. It did not have such policy in our previous visit.
My omley was good but very small portion for the cost.
Lame, will not be back. Both of our coffees were wrong and didn't taste good. They didn't offer to fix them either. Cute outside patio though!

This place is so much overhyped. We went there on Saturday and it was not too busy we ordered one sandwich and one omelette with blue cheese. The presentation of the food was so ugly but we let that go thinking the taste would be nice but even a homemade sandwich taste better than here. Never ever going here again.
Not planning to come back, the food was terrible. The “Special Avacado Toast” came with salad, nothing special about it. The veggie omelette came doused with balsamic vinegar (why?!). The bread was underbaked and cakey. Ambience was great but it was sad to see that that the food was tasteless.
