Opinions de Voca Coffee Fremont
Wanted to find coffee spot and this place popped up. A little hole in the wall and I didn't think anything of it till I got there. O.m.g. was I blown away by their offerings. The spice nectarine fantasy espresso was one of the best tasting coffee I have ever had. The staff was incredibly helpful and walked me through the menu.
the best coffee I had in the Bay Area! This shop attaches great importance to the quality of coffee beans. At the same time, it is also very professional in brewing. The selection of coffee containers and the presentation of drinks are very beautiful! Volcano and Kenya pour over I had today are exceptional
For the people who really appreciate very high quality beans and baristas that know how to steam the milk correctly and maximize the flavor of the espresso and make the best cup of coffee, you should not miss this place. They know what they are doing. Go there!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Amazing Experience at Voca Coffee! I had a fantastic time at Voca Coffee! The atmosphere is cozy and beautifully designed, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. ☕ Coffee & Food: The coffee was rich and flavorful, perfectly brewed. 🌟 Service: The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. 🏡 Ambiance: The decor is stylish yet inviting, with a calming and modern vibe. The attention to detail, from the furniture to the small decorative touches, creates a very pleasant environment. 📸 I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great coffee experience. Will definitely visit again!
The coffee here was really good and looked so fancy as well. I also thought that the atmosphere was really nice. It was really pricey though, the coffee and scone I got was like 18 dollars.
This place is worth the effort driving a bit to enjoy the delicious coffee. Wherever you are in East Bay, I highly recommend. I drive 40' to come here. As a matter of fact, I do not know a single coffeeshop in East Bay that comes close to the quality found at Voca. I am a software nerd, I found coffee nerds!
Visited this place on a Friday after coming across in Google maps it was a great experience if I have come across many coffee shops where like they go with like a bunch of fancy lattes but this place stays true to the coffee culture and has really good coffee, roasting, and extraction processes. I really like the service as well and they look really friendly
Easily the best pourover I've had in Fremont. The bean options are varied and there is something for each taste profile. The Diego Bermudez washed Anaerobic Castillo was expertly roasted and showcased the hard work that was put into the roast profile. The pourover was like biting into a freshly baked peach cobbler. The prices are definitely on the higher end for coffee in the area (my pourover was 20 dollars and was the most expensive bean), but given the small lot size of the coffee and the attention and care put into the experience, I say it is worth it if you are into specialty coffee and want a treat!
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming vibe. The coffee is expertly crafted, from single origin pour-overs to lattes, every drink is made with care. The tiramisu is also very good and not too overpowering, which compliments the coffee very well. The staff are very friendly.
The coffee was great, but the concept and intentionality of the place really shines through. The ceramics and ambience are so beautiful too!
This is awesome! It’s a small coffee shop with beautiful decoration and nice vibe. I lost my phone there and they helped me to get it back. Everything was great
The atmosphere is so peaceful and the coffee was fantastic! I can tell they put a lot of care and detail into their drinks
I stopped on my way to get coffee It was perfect environment and service and taste great everything so calming and stylish Thank you for that
This charming café is open to the public just two days a week for a few short hours, offering an intimate and serene atmosphere. The coffee was decent, and the affogato was scrumptious. The latte art was simply stunning! Although the tiramisu looked appetizing, unfortunately it contained alcohol. The staff, who was serving us, warmly offered to adapt the recipe if we could share an alcohol-free version, promising to give it a try. I was blown away by their thoughtful and accommodating customer service. Thank you Voca!
This place is a quiet hidden gem. Looking forward to coming back on a regular basis
Wen made us the best pour over coffee and took the time to explain the sourcing and roasting of the beans. A charming cafe for true coffee lovers in Fremont.

The best coffee I have ever had.
Voca Coffee is an absolute gem. You can immediately feel how much care and intention goes into every cup of coffee, they don’t just make coffee here, they craft it. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully curated, and the team who runs it is incredible, kind, passionate, and deeply knowledgeable. You can tell they truly love what they do, and it shows in both the quality of the coffee and the experience as a whole. If you’re in the area, this is a must-stop. Highly, highly recommend.
Decent coffee, but an absolute operational mess. Coffee was good and aesthetically pleasing. Due to operational problems, we only got to try the latte, which was good. Not necessarily worth the headache we went through to get it, but if these problems are ironed out, I'd wouldn't be opposed to paying $6.50 for another latte. Also, I appreciate Wen's dedication to her business. I see her responding to every review. Hopefully some of these points can help Voca improve. I think it has a lot of potential! 1) Cashier lady was lacking in competency. She was slow, didn't know the menu, didn't communicate well, and just generally meandered around getting in people's way. There were dishes to bus, tables to wipe, coffee to serve, and a line out the door. Yet she didn't seem concerned and took her sweet time typing slowly on the iPad. My advice: train her better or hire someone else. 2) Better communication. Several times, I noticed orders being prepared incorrectly. They would make an americano, just for the customer to say they ordered an iced americano or they would make a latte to realize the customer ordered an oat latte. Then, more often than not, after a drink is made, they would walk around looking for the customer, further slowing things down. These are all solveable problems. 3) Simplify the menu. Too many items on the menu just exacerbates communication problems and slows things down as people ponder what to get. Especially for restaurant week, I'd simplify the menu from 8 offerings to 4 and skip the time-intensives drinks like pour overs. 4) Keep dirty dishes away from unserved drinks and food. I couldn't help but notice dirty dishes piling up next to unserved tiramisu and drinks (photos included). This is a health violation and risks cross-contamination. Please take care to never do this again. 5) Nit: The latte cups, while unique, are right-hand biased. For left-handed customers, they are very awkward to use. This isn't a big deal, but first impressions matter and attention to details matter. I assume these are growing pains that will improve with time, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and giving 4 stars, for what would otherwise be a 2-star experience.

I waited ONE HOUR for my coffee on Tuesday morning, only to find it mediocre. The selection of beans is limited, mostly light roasts, which don’t work well for espressos. I also sampled a pour-over, which lacked both aroma and flavor. It’s surprising that this coffee shop has such a high rating—perhaps due to the lack of roasters in Fremont/Milpitas. With that hour-long wait, you could drive to SF, Berkeley, or Oakland for much better coffee at a lower price.

We got two pour overs. Rawanda and decaf Columbia Both were at best average. I appreciate the time taken by the staff and steps they followed, rwanda was un-drinkable, my home pur over with nominal steps turns out better. It didn't deserve to be $10
rando TikTok brought me here but it’s so mid. not worth $10 a cup that literally tastes so bitter… don’t believe the hype pls spare yourself… also I don’t understand all the positive reviews justifying the “cost” seems like scam to me
