My boyfriend makes me pick him up the meatloaf sandwich and bring it all the way to Long Island. This place is awesome. Great food and nice staff. The wings are among the best I have ever had. Very sweet and sticky sauce. The small house salad is very fresh. The baked clams are very good. It is also a great place to drink at the bar on the weekends. They have appetizer and drink deals. This place has a nice mixed crowd. GREAT!!!

Best neighborhood pub I have come across! On a whim, I decided to try them out and I wish I had done this sooner. The staff is super friendly, the patrons are all locals and the food is phenomenal. I would say it is a great location to have celebratory dinners with family because the vibe here is so warm and friendly. I had came by myelf but did not feel alone due to the great bartenders working that day. I ordered the clam stuffed mushrooms and 2 Irish coffees. The stuffed mushrooms were a great stand-a-lone dish and tastebud satisfying. I can't wait to come next time with a bigger appetite to try their blackened steak and dessert menu. So whenever you are in the mood for great food, a great atmosphere and a very chill night, you better come here if you are close by!

I have been here two times, with my sister and husband visiting from Cape Cod Ma. Each time I went, I enjoyed the food that was served tremendously... I ordered shepherds pie, last time, today I ordered a half chicken, well seasoned and very moist and tender inside, with mashed sweet potatoes, delicious. My sister enjoyed a pasta dish with shrimp, and my nephew had the Angus steak . All in all, it was such a great meal, prices are reasonable. The waitress Linda and Jennifer were so professional, courteous and so friendly. This is a cozy place,if you are looking for a place to have lunch or dinner, this is it....they get a "10" in my book ....

Adam the owner is a Gem of the community who used the restaurant as a general store during the covid shutdown and fed hundreds of meals to hospital workers and first responders. I will be giving fillmores my business for life. I highly recommend this place if you've never dined here before!

If you don't dine here you don't know what your missing. The blacken steak medium is my recommendation. But everything is good on the menu no matter what you get. Service is very friendly. Alot of local customers and the atmosphere of the place is warm and welcoming.

Favorite bar/restaurant in Queens. Amazing staff that know their customers. They make the best BLT's and I have always loved the Cleveland Chicken with FF and brown gravy on the side. They seem to have changed up the seasonings on the Cleveland so I haven my been back in about a month. I dont eat wings but everyone loves their wings. It still deserves 10 stars.

We golfed at Kissena nearby and were glad we stopped at Filmore’s for lunch afterwards. The staff were polite, service and food very good, other patrons super friendly, seemed like a neighborhood gem. Looking fwd to going back.

The food was great! Enjoyed chicken strips and wings as appetizers for our group. Burger was cooked perfectly, the sweet potato fries were Awesome & the portions were very good. Trying to find parking is the only challenge. So alot time.

I just had the best Bleu Cheese Burger at Fillmore's Tavern. It was prepared with Angus Beef. It was juicy and delicious. The Bleu cheese was dripping off the burger. I was so pleased with it. The menu also has Pastrami, Club and Chicken Parmesan sandwiches, they also have other Pub staples like Mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers. If you're looking good for higher end pub food at a reasonable price, come check out Fillmore's Tavern.

Our local watering hole. The bartenders and servers are the Heart of establishment while the patrons are the soul. You'll always meet someone new here, willing to tell you a good story. Definitely more of a laid back working class bar. Greatest corned beef you'll get around and never a dull moment.

Ok, I just left and I had to write this review. I came out to Queens for an event at St John’s as an alum. I needed a place to kill time and stumbled upon Fillmores. I walked in and saw all the St. John’s stuff and said ok, nice! I picked the right spot. Then I met all the locals there. The bartenders, shout out to Ray! I’ve never felt more welcome in a place than here. And I travel a lot for work. Anytime I’m out here in queens, I’m coming here. I had the absolute best time. Thanks guys!!!

Excellent experience. Great food and drinks. Service was excellent. The owner was so kind and kept checking on us. We had the black and bleu, buffalo chicken sliders, shepard's pie, cowboy burger and a bunch of apps. All of the food was great with the exception of the shepard's pie which the owner comped us for. He was so kind and respectful. Definitely going back with my family!

Ordered the ny strip steak with bourbon and onions it was cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing one of the best steaks I have eaten. Also had the French onion soup it was Delicious the service was friendly and on point . The pretzel is also a must. Definitely will go back. Highly recommend

This Neighborhood tavern is comfortable, fun and delicious. The staff is amazing and the food portions are generous and delicious. Went there on St Patty’s Day several years ago and had the most delicious corned beef. Have returned many times and tried everything from burgers to chicken dishes. Everything is very good and the prices are on point!

Ray was the best bartender ever! My husband and I were out of town and weren’t sure where to go. We stumbled across this place. I’m so happy we came here. Ray was so kind, helpful, and warm. Came in around 11:00 for late dinner, place was packed. Good music playing, good crowd. We sat in the back dining area which was actually not too busy at all. Everything was really great. Our server Donna was very accommodating and super nice. The burger was amazing, perfectly cooked medium, very tasty. Coleslaw is really good. My wife had the corned beef sandwich and loved it. It was sliced thin and taste amazing. We also had the pub pretzel and popcorn shrimp, both very good. As for drinks, the Old Fashioned was also perfect, and my wife loved the berry margaritas. Definitely will be back sooner than later.

Had the 13 oz blackened steak and the baked clams. The steak was cooked perfectly and was a fair price with the sides included. To drink we had 2 Irish mules, which were excellent. The bar itself is fairly small and intimate, would absolutely go again.

Whether you're sitting outside or inside, the atmosphere and the people are warm and welcoming. I've been going here for years and will continue due to the great staff, friendly people and amazing food. You can walk in and leave with a smile. Highly recommended

What a gem in our own neighborhood! So glad we finally went. Burgers are cooked right, thick, juicy and the sides are plentiful. Cod and rice was flavorful and enough for two servings. Please don’t change a thing because we’re coming back!

I love this place. I always get the blackened steak when I eat here. It is absolutely delicious and they always cook it the way I want. If you’re looking to sit at the bar and watch a sports game, the locals are welcoming and the drinks are great. The bartender Jen, is so attentive and accommodating. She makes sure you’re having a great time and is so kind. You won’t be disappointed.

Megan was our surfer, it was very busy and she was on top of everything. The food is comfort food. I had a meatball hero and it wasn't just two meatballs. It was stuffed with big honking meatballs. One of my lunch buddies had the black and blue burger, blue as in bleu cheese. Overall a very nice place friendly. Highly recommended!

I've worked in Fresh Meadows, NY for 20 years. Fillmore's is a few blocks from my office and a staple for lunch. Their wings are absolutely wild. Top 3 I've ever had. They are the larger wings just to preface that and they come out super hot (temperature), crispy and saucey. Their sauce is a hot sauce that's not too hot and has a hint of sweetness to it. They were "sweet heat" or "Mike's hot honey" before those because a craze these last few years. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner!

Great meal! French onion soup, shepherd’s pie. My husband had the burger. His aunt also had the French onion soup and had the flounder special for her entree. We shared the onion rings, came with three dipping sauces. Everything was good. Generous portions. Service was excellent. Would definitely come back.

Food was fantastic! The burger I got was huge and the entire atmosphere is cozy. Small seating area on one half and bar seating on the other. Not overly loud or disruptive either. Staff here were great and though the food came out a bit slow it was amazing so I couldn't even be upset. They clearly take the time to get it right.

We had a party of 25 for lunch on July 22nd. We only gave them notice the day before and they graciously accomodated us. The food was great and the service was wonderful (it was a big party but our server, I believe Donna Marie was her name, kept up with everything. Nice little neighbourhood spot with good food and good service. The waitresses are very friendly and the atmosphere of the place is that of an cozy little spot where everyone knows each other. They have daily dinner specials which is nice. The food here was absolutely delectable, very filling, and most definitely and bang for your buck. I got the shepherds pie, the fried shrimp, and the mozzarella sticks. All three dishes were great and arrived at the table nice and hot.

Great place for a brief respite. Very quaint and cozy. The indoors are way more accommodating that it looks from the outside and you'd probably pass it by if you aren't familiar. A staple in the neighborhood for years so you'll have your set "regulars". The lunch specials are some the best around in terms of quality and cost. Bartender Ray makes the venue feel like Cheers.

The staff and service are great, with the understanding that large parties and busy nights will impact this. However, service staff is always polite and jovial. The wings are AMAZING. The Mac and Cheese is creamy. The onion rings, baked clams, burgers, and shepherd's pie are also very good.

Nice hole in the wall to go relax and have a pint or two. Dimly lit place with friendly staff, rock music, Guinness, and shots of Jam'o.

Great food. Pleasant attentive waitstaff! We sat at the tables in the bar area and it was a little loud and boisterous for my liking but it was a Saturday night and I have sat in the dining area in the past and it was fine. I recommend specifying the dining area if you like it quiet. Try the "13" Blackend steak.. best I have had in the area!

New favorite casual spot. The bartender made a tasty Old Fashioned and we just shared four appetizers but next time I go (which will be soon) I’m going to get an entree. The atmosphere was terrific, the guests were all chill. I wish like hell that this part of Queens had more spots like this so this makes Fillmore’s Tavern a real hidden gem.

Good place, the bread they give is surprisingly very good. The French onion soup was awesome and the wings tasted fresh and were made very well. The sauce mild however was a little too sweet for me, next time I need to get hot. The service was also a little slow but overall nice place.

Hidden gem nestled inside a quiet neighborhood. Doesn’t get any better than this: staff are friendly and conversing, outdoor seating streaming multiple sport games and lovely music to listen to. The food is amazing must get the blackened steak. Grilled tuna was just okay but steak fries were delicious. Four stars because serving staff takes some time to get to you, but otherwise a lovely place to be with friends and family.

Fillmore's is the go-to for a quick bite, a drink (coffee for me), and good conversation with great people. Parking can be tough to find, but it's worth it once you find a spot!

It's definitely worth it. I came our so stuffed I couldn't even move. The environment is clean and the waitress is really kind. I'm not a fan of the burger, it needed flavor. If you're worried about your Blood pressure levels and so on this would be a great place.

This is a great little neighborhood pub. The atmosphere is lively and friendly, the service is absolutely outstanding and the food is very good. I wasn't expecting much beyond a typical pub experience but I was pleasantly surprised by how personable, attentive, friendly and professional the staff was and how delicious the food was as well. This is certainly a great spot!

I always crave potato skins so I order them often. I prefer for them to be the perfect ratio of potato to fixings. I also prefer the potato to be thinner so they get crispy around the edges and add to the texture of the crispness to the bacon but we all have our preferences. Now don’t get me wrong the potato skins from here are still delicious and I did order them to go so it’s a possibility from the steam they may have gotten a little more moisture to them. Fillmore’s takes a potato cuts it in half and possibly deep fries it and continues making them but keep in mind like I said a traditional potato skin is supposed to be crispy and thinner. Now on the other hand, they do give a good amount of bacon and cheese on them so that’s a plus. They also give a great amount of sour cream with them so they’re doing that part right lol You can’t eat potato skins without a good amount of sour cream on them, that’s just not American! Ha I’m kidding. Would I order them again? Yes absolutely but just keep in mind what I’ve stated. Thin and crispy you won’t get them here now thicker cut and hearty, yes!!

It was a chilly spring evening when my gf and I seceded to take the half mile stroll from our house to this hidden neighborhood bar/restaurant. It was quiet inside. And a bunch of working class types looked to be enjoying a beer (or 3) and taking the first few innings of a ballgame before heading home. Everyone seemed to know each other. We were served quickly and with a friendly smile. I got the delicious blackened steak and my ladyfriend ordered the osso bucco...both were delicious. I just wish there was at least one IPA on tap to drink. We'll be coming back.

Fillmore tavern has been a neighborhood joint for years and it looks like it. I had heard the burger is the thing to order from here. I went with it. The burger was cooked to my liking and had decent flavor. Wouldn’t say it was anything too special. They did have good cole slaw. It is an old school tavern and feels like you are stepping into the past when eating here. Quiet during weekday lunch but we enjoyed it.

Came here on a Friday night and place is opened late and so thankful for that. Great restaurant /bar that's full of great energy. Loved it here. The shepherd pie was amazing. Great ambience. Inside and outside dining available (there's space heaters). The only thing I didn't enjoy were the Sliders. I ordered the cheese burger sliders... and there was no cheese.... none... very plane... and the waitress didn't come back to check up on us at all...until the bill... and it wasn't busy where we sat...so that was very disappointing... One stall for bathroom, be aware. Overall definitely enjoyed this place and highly recommend.

Food was not very good, the ambiance was pretty cool. Service wasn’t terrible. I wouldn’t come back for the food but only for the draft beers. I ordered the peach martini and it was disgusting (the waitress did warn me it was strong but I didn’t think it would be unconsumable)

The wait staff wasn't bad but it took way to long for our food to come out. Personally my burger was undercooked and they had changed a few things on the menu. Overall wasn't too bad but definitely not as good as they have been in the past.

This is a neighborhood pub. We went because my husband was craving a burger, and they were voted best burger in Queens. The service was great. They were attentive and comped our drinks when we had to wait about 30 minutes for the table that we reserved. The food, unfortunately, was not so good, and the burger served was definitely not worthy of the title of best burger anywhere. It was overcooked and bland. I got the tuna sandwich and got sick from it. Maybe it was just an off night, but we won't be going back.

For a local place, definitely give it a shot. Very friendly service, but it gives off a feeling of "locals only". Not sure if that's accurate just saying that was the feeling. Food was great and good priced. Parking is going to be a bit tight.

I've been to Fillmore's a few times over the past few years. Food is okay, nothing to "write home to Mom about." Not a wide variety on the cocktail menu... you better know what you want when you go. Service is definitely lacking, every time I've been. They're nice but even when it's super slow it takes forever.

I was there on 8/29/25. For the first time I was disappointed. I ordered my wings and to my disappointment they were different. Not enough sauce and then some were not done. The celery was not crunchy was old. I went to the store this morning and bought some wing sauce and I will add the sauce cook mine some more. Hopefully the next time I order I will ask for extra sauce. Not giving up. Sept 02,2025. I must change my statement. After redoing the chicken I found that the reason was that the chicken was old. It looks like old was mixed with new. With a fork the bones were dark on some of them. So I have given up and this will be a $48.61 loss for me. I will not even post the the pictures. So with this being said, will not be returning.

This has been a staple for the past 30 years for us, a nice neighborhood spot with delicious food… but not anymore. The food the last five times we have ordered has been disgusting. Tonight was the last straw. My “medium rare” steak… pictured with burnt seasoning and well done, and a “medium” cheeseburger… also well done and extremely dry.

Rude staff. They do not acknowledge new customers when they walk through the door, although their “regulars” are greeted well. I was ignored when I first walked in and the lady behind the counter did not seem to care. In addition, delivery workers are told to wait outside for the food to be dropped off while their regulars wait inside. They gave my order to someone else and made me wait 30 minutes WITHOUT NOTICE. On top of that they had the audacity to not apologize even though it was the staffs fault for mishandling the order. They do not take responsibility for their actions, very condescending. The delivery guy told me to call the customer and tell her he would deliver it to her himself. Would highly not recommend!

I went her for mother's day. I had the mother's day brunch it was awful. I waited 2 1/2 hours for my food. The kids were starving. They didn't even come and ask if we wanted any dessert or coffee. The bill was about $200. It was not worth it. NOBODY WAITS 2 1/2 Hours for food. I am extremely disappointed in this place. When we got home, I still had to make dinner for the kids. They were still hungry.

If you don't live in the area, don't go here, rude waitress. And the burger was not a burger I was expecting.
