Our new go-to spot! This place is absolutely delicious. I love their Spicy Carbonara pasta. It has the perfect spice and their portions are also great.
We use to get good from their food truck. So yummy!!! We had the spicy Mac n cheese, cheesy garlic bread, and Nona’s calzone. E writhing was amazing. The portion sizes were large.
We had a spectacular dining experience with our family here! I was recommended to come here by my nephew who enjoys the food so we wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed! Lovely atmosphere, excellent customer service, it was such a homey place. I can’t get over how delicious the food was. I ordered the spicy carbonara and just wow! Every plate had a generous portion. We were so full but we kept eating cuz it was just too good! Bravo to the owner, chef and staff for making sure we got a wonderful dinner experience! We will be recommending more family and friends and also we will be coming back!
Absolute fire. One of the best Italian restaurants in Fresno. Actually, might be the ONLY best Italian restaurant in Fresno! Then again, I haven't tried them all. I didn't dine in, so I will only review from a to-go point of view. The meatball sandwich was on point. The sauce, the meat, the cheese The Spicy Carbonara was beyond your wildest dreams. That might be the best description, honestly. Would I recommend coming here though? ... yes. Now stop reading the reviews and listen to my advice and GO.
My daughter and I had lunch at Roma today. Honestly, it was a great experience. The restaurant is cozy, very shiny, very simple and clean!!! We ordered chicken salad, it was refreshing but a small tip, the plate should be little bit bigger for that Amount of vegetables. The cheese sticks were really good and the meat ravioli was delicious. As a complementary appetizer they served us 2 freshly baked boule with butter. If you’re looking for a cozy Italian restaurant, Roma is the best !!! Good luck guys…..
Great food, good service the girls were all so nice and very clean. The chef came out and asked how the food was..I would definitely recommend to try it out.

Went and got some takeout last night husband and I love the way that the restaurant looks. Very nice inside very well done. My favorite was the spicy macaroni. Absolutely delicious. The fried zucchini was also amazing. The best Italian food in Fresno. Also, the bread was fresh and delicious.
Really enjoyed this place and think it's a great casual eatery. I got the RCBA: rigatoni, chicken, bacon, and alfredo; my folks got the chicken parm and we split the garlic parm fries. All the food was fantastic and left most of us with enough leftovers for dinner the next day. I was really surprised by the side salad which I kinda expected a cheap Costco brand salad mix but it had fresh cut lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peperoncino, and also little popping peppers and I loved that. I will say there is a ~4.5% surcharge on items of paying with card that wasn't really stated on the menu or bill which led to some confusion. Just stop by and ATM before heading here though and you're all good!
I am a Brooklyn Italian who has spent most of her life in Fresno. I grew up on homemade Italian food, and I’ve eaten at great Italian food restaurants in New York. I have never felt that there was a great Italian restaurant here in Fresno. I have now changed my mind. Roma’s Italian kitchen’s food tastes like our homemade. It was outstanding. Everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. It was a great experience and my family and I will be back. Outstanding food, outstanding people, outstanding altogether.
1st time here.. our server was great. And im very picky about my food.. chkn Alfredo was creamy and awesome. Noodles not cooked long enough or off brand, but, still delicious... We will be coming back. Love the hot lemon water.
They passed the test with one of the best spaghetti and meatball with meat sauce entrees I've had in a long time. This was full of flavor and was huge. I recommend getting a second meatball (because they're so good). The music is set to 30's and 40's big band. My service was amazing. The bread served were 2 sourdough rolls. While dining in the phone rang with to go orders and patrons were in and out to pick up more to go orders. I guess the word is out . . . Roma's is the place to get some really good Italian food.
Sky was such an AMAZING server! I usually don’t leave reviews often, but wanted to just because of her great service. She constantly made sure we were taken care of, was very understanding when we asked to switch our meals, and was just kind overall! We got the Roma rigatoni and it was good but super spicy!

Love their food both at this location and when they had their food truck. They are a Fresno restaurant family and we have never been disappointed. The owner was cooking but came out to say hi and was great. The only negative is that they are expensive. You have to pay for good quality so that just means for my family we don't come here as often as we would like. They other negative is that they have Pepsi products not Coke. 😃 This time around we ordered Chicken Piccata, chicken parmigiana, spicy carbonate, meat tortellini and mozzarella sticks. Everything was awesome but here are some detais. Piccata was good but not very lemony (we squezzed some lemon over it to give it some more flavor). Spicy carbonara was perfect with chicken and bacon. Chicken parmigiana was excellent but the spaghetti that came with it was marinara, we would have preferred meat sauce. Meat tortellini also had the marinara but that worked just fine. The mozzarella sticks were excellent but $15 seems a little high priced. They do charge 3.99% extra for credit cards and their pricing was a little confusing at their POS system. All in all you will love the food.

Took a friend to lunch here using a gift card that I bought from Costco. Let me start with the good. The ambiance is very newish and clean, including the bathroom. I ordered the Piccata with a side salad. It was very tasty, and the portion size was very large. Our server was friendly and considerate. Now, the not so good. The server brought us bread, but there was no butter or vinegar & oil to go with it. We are not given appetizer plates, so, I guess we were supposed to put the bread on our napkin??? The bread was very salty. Our order took an exceptionally long time to arrive. When it finally arrived, my friend could not eat his Nonna's Calzone as it was extremely salty. Our server was kind enough to remove the item from our bill and only charged for the side salad that my friend ordered. When I received the bill, I noticed there was a price disparity of the cost of my Piccata. The menu I was provided said it was $21, but I was charged $27 which was the price listed up on the takeout menu board. I let the server know, and he was kind enough to remove the added charge. In the end, he thanked us for pointing out the problems so that they would be aware of them, and he gave us free cannolis for the trouble. I gave them one extra star than I would have otherwise for their efforts to make things better.

My wife and I ate here by ourselves and it was good enough to invite some friends to join us for another time. It was busy and we waited 20 minutes, no problem. Our food (for 6) took a very long time and we watched a large table finish and be seated again. A couple of us got our meals and then we watched the new table get two of the same entrees we had been waiting for ahead of us. When we asked if our food was coming and noted that we thought our meals were delivered to the wrong table, the waitress said the cooks put them out in that order. What? The food and atmosphere of this place are fine and I really wanted to like it, but if we come back it will be on our own on a less busy night until they sort things out.
It was my husband's and I first time at Roma Italian Kitchen. I watched a few reviews and recommendations from TikTok and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Spicy Carbonara and I was disappointed. It lacked flavor and the sauce had a watery consistency. Would not recommend. 1/5 My husband ordered the Lemon Mushroom Shrimp Stuffed Cheese Ravioli. His order was more flavorful, so we gave it a 3/5. It did not have that zestiness that we were looking for. The food took about 40 minutes to come out and we noticed that they prioritized doordash orders. We are grateful that they gave us free fries. They helped us not be hangry lol 2/5 Overall
Service was excellent, food not so much . Unfortunately maybe the worst pizza in Fresno . I ordered the pepperoni extra crispy . It had an EXTREME Fresno Flop . Very doughy and cheese tasted really off. Being honest a store bought microwave pizza has more crisp and better flavor . Final pizza score was a 2.8 . Very good customer service and very chill vibe . Unfortunately pizza was extremely disappointing. The one bright spot was amazing dinner rolls !

The customer service was amazing, but the food not so much. The mozzarella sticks were very salty. I ordered a chicken Parmesan and the red sauce was extremely smoky. It had the same after taste as the alcohol mezcal. It was sort of weird because usually red sauce is not smoky. I will not be back.

This was a very disappointing experience. I had seen great reviews on Tik tok and was really looking forward to trying this restaurant. Waited about 40 minutes for garlic parm fries that were basically just plain fries with a sprinkle of store bought Parmesan and a big clump of raw oily garlic at the bottom. We were checked on maybe once and after over an hour had passed, we still had not received our food. It seemed as though our order was forgotten. We requested the check for the fries (which I believe we should have been comped for since we had waited so long already) and were met with a half-hearted “sorry” and an excuse saying they got a catering order in. It would have been fine if we were informed but watching door dash and in person orders be sent out while we sat there waiting for our orders that was put in a long time ago. I have never experienced such terrible service and will not return or recommend this place. Here’s a picture of our fries since we never got our 2 pasta dishes we ordered.

Food was 10/10 back in the food truck but now the chefs and crew are different so it taste worst now. Service can be trained better and the team should communicate with each other because they forgot I ordered lasagna with my spaghetti. They were just talking with their friends that came into the store instead of taking care of their customers. The lasagna and pasta were lacking in flavor and protein compared to how they served when they were a food truck! Sadly, will no longer go back anymore.
I have been a regular at this restaurant for quite some time, but after my experience tonight, I will be avoiding it moving forward. This establishment does NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS, so we arrived expecting a wait. However, we stood at the front for 20 minutes without a single staff member acknowledging us. What was really unacceptable, was when a party of two walked in well after us and was called by name and seated almost immediately. Given the "no reservations" policy, it was clear they were receiving special treatment while we were ignored. When a server finally did approach us, we were told it would be another 20-minute wait. We declined and left. Beyond the poor service, the quality has slipped as well—the bread has been served cold and stale recently. However, this can be easily brushed off. Whether this is a case of being severely understaffed (which I totally understand) or a host showing blatant favoritism, it is unacceptable. This is not how you treat customers, let alone loyal repeat ones. Save your time and go somewhere that values your patronage.
My wife and I rarely get a date night, and she was excited to try this place after craving Italian food. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete letdown. We arrived in the evening, and the restaurant was packed, so we assumed it would be worth the wait. We checked in, were told the wait would be 20–45 minutes, and stayed right in front of the entrance where we were clearly visible. We waited our full time, but during that period we noticed multiple customers walk in after us and get seated immediately. No one checked on us, called us, or acknowledged that we were still waiting. When we finally went inside to ask, the staff had no recollection of us at all. No apology, no explanation. Just completely dismissed like we were never there. The service was unorganized, disrespectful, and extremely disappointing. This was supposed to be a special night for us, and instead it turned into the worst restaurant experience we’ve had. We won’t be returning.
This place is disgustingly disorganized. I raved about this place to my sister and took her there. We waited over 2 hours for a table. They seated everyone else before us, including people who checked in as walk ins after us. The food had absolutely no flavor. They checked on us 1 time in the two hours we were there. No drink refills. It took almost an hour to get our food. Total disappointment. Olive Garden was better.
