⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional service, phenomenal food — a Fresno gem! Our party of six had a truly wonderful experience at Batter Up Pancakes. Four of us were visiting for the first time, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Manager Taylor delivered exceptional service with genuine attention to detail, setting the tone for an outstanding meal. The Vegan Veggie Scramble was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, and the Gluten-Free Pancake was phenomenal — light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. An excellent dining experience all around — warm atmosphere, attentive service, and memorable food. Highly recommended!

They were very helpful with the big party we had. All the food came out at the same time. I didn’t take a picture of my food but it was beyond delicious. Best protein pancakes I ever had, didn’t even need syrup. Will go back for those alone.

Definitely a popular place, so I do recommend getting here early. Once seated, you have options galore for lunch and breakfast. I had The Intimidator and that was delicious with some maple syrup. Their pancakes are super fluffy and I do recommend you try them.

Great food, but you’ll pay dearly for it. The bacon and ham was very tasty. The whole grain corn cakes were very tasty. French toast was fine but not memorable. We shared a carafe of fresh-squeezed orange juice and it was worth it. For our birthday girl, they gave us some whipped cream with a candle on top (meh). The place was very crowded and noisy.

Went for the first time on Friday morning. My family and I used their app to check in before arriving which saved us a lot of time because they were busy! You can only use the app if you have a party of 4 or less for check in. We got seated and it took a bit of time before they got to our drinks. When they did, we were ready to order. Our waitress was very nice and got our food out very quickly. The food was awesome! The pancakes are all plate size! Overall a great experience for any breakfast goer.

Servers were very attentive and made sure that I enjoyed the food. I had the Cheesecake pancakes tall stack. Very good. The menu seemed to have an array of dishes with many to choose from, but the stack of pancakes will be all you need as they are huge.

It was quite busy even for a Wednesday morning. We did not have to wait for a seat, there were a few available. Customer service was 50/50. Our server was kind and patient. As well as another girl. Two others were not rude, but not engaging much, or just had the air about them that they didn't want to be there. The French toast was bland, not much flavor. I've had better. The pancakes though, they were big, fluffy and delicious. Coffee was great. My daughter liked her eggs and bacon, she ate it all up. She couldn't finish her pancake, she got full. But she enjoyed it! This place is great for breakfast. Pricey.

I was pretty disappointed with this place. I was excited to have some vegan pancakes, as I have had some great ones in the past. So much that I got 3! I take it on me that I should have gotten 1 instead of 3 to try them out. The actual pancakes were pretty large which can be good if the recipe tasted good. However these unfortunately were dry, flavourless cardboard. I managed to eat one drenching in syrup and jams, took the rest as a take away, feeling disappointed wasting $20+ on pancakes alone. However they turned even more dry and brittle in the take away container and were uneatable. Pancakes rate - 1/10. I also got a hash brown, which was completely drenched in oil. Had to pour pooled oil from the sides. The size was alright. Hash brown rate - 5/10. I was also bummed out that they no longer do barrister coffees, just the standard jug of filtered stuff. Bummer, as the coffee was one of the reasons I picked them. The waitress was nice and attentive, the parking was good and available. The venue was clean, and had a diner vibe. I like that they are trying to serve vegan diets and be plant based and GF friendly, just need to adjust the recipes to improve the way this food tastes.
