Opinions de Tacos El Cabezon Fresno
I’ve been looking forward to going here for so many months and I finally did….and it has truly became my favorite!! The tacos, the salsa, the sides, the agua fresca, everything was phenomenal!! I tried the chicken tacos and the el pastor tacos, they both were packed with meat and delicious🙌🏼😍 This is my new spot for Wednesdays, thank you guys for your hard work and hospitality!!
Found our new spot! Recently discovered this place because it popped up on my IG feed, tried going last night (Fri. Night) and couldn't find parking it was so packed so we went today a half hour before they opened. 🤭 We've been sad because the last taco truck we used to go to got rid of their trompo which is the only way to cook real Al Pastor & this place did not disappoint. They put a lot of meat, fresh homemade corn tortillas and all their salsas were amazing. We will be regulars. Thank you for the amazing food and the great vibes.
Hands down this is my new go to place in all of Fresno for tacos. They have thee absolute best seasoning on all their meats and the hospitality is great. I had a chance to meet the owner Armando and man that guy is really dedicated to giving us customers the best ingredients on our food. The handmade tortillas are the right flavor. The fire grilled asada and chorizo and chicken tasted so good. The Al pastor is on another level of good. Hands down these guys are doing it right and not taking any shortcuts. Thanks Armando Mr Bigg head and thanks for coming to Fresno.
Those are the best tacos , I've eaten, my whole life, and the corn tortilla quesadilla with pastor and pollo, OMG!! Best quesadilla ever!!! I recommend it 💯

I had these tacos this past wknd for the first time and they are delicious! From the salsas to the the meats and the fantastic handmade tortillas 🫶that agua de pina is 🤌 you all go check them out!
These tacos were incredible! The tortillas were warm and soft, the fillings were perfectly seasoned, and the ingredients tasted super fresh. The balance of flavors was spot on, and the salsas took everything to the next level. You can tell they put real care into their food. Highly recommend to any taco lover!
Tacos el Cabezon l didn’t know about them till my daughter said you need try them. We went the line was long but my daughter said it’s worth it mom. And let me tell you it was! she got tacos and I got a burrito. And I recommend them 100% to the valley or any where I even tell everyone where I work at don’t waist your time somewhere else go there I recommend them!!!
Great tacos. My husband loves them! You know if you live in the valley you have a particular taco place you love. This would be my new 2nd favorite taco place for me. I have a real aversion to boingy meats, and this was low on the boingy meat scale. Like one boing per taco. Not perfect, but it was pretty good. There was a lot of meat but you have to add all your goodies. The employees were great with such long lines, and although there was a wait because of this, it was worth it!
Long wait but worth it. The asada is super juice and tender with lots of flavor. Their grilled chicken is delicious as well. Lots of toppings to choose from, delicious salsa and hand made tortillas. I would go more often if the wait wasn’t long. There’s a reason why they stay busy.

I ordered tacos of asada and al pastor and both were very delicious. Highly recommend. Also the owner Armando was a super cool guy and made our first experience one to remember. Definitely will be returning again soon! All in all, go try em out for yourself, you wont regret it!
Finally got to try this tacos after so many weekends passing by an them being so packed.... so I got 3 tacos 1 de asada and 2 de tripa the asada taco was very good the meat had no fat an it had flavor the tacos de tripa were also very good, good size taco the only thing I feel is that they need better salsas they lack flavor an there pickled onion also needs work , over all its a decent taco spot would I go again probably yes ... one thing too my daughter asked me to get her a taco de costilla but they didnt have any ready I probably got there too early since the grill was not on . You do get your money's worth cus tacos are a big size an there loaded with meat🌮😋🌮😋
I went on a Saturday night and boy was it packed. I waited over an hour in line to order and 20 min to get my food. My recommendation would be for the business to make a larger menu sign considering the lines are very long and the menu is very tiny. I only had the chance to read it when I was 3rd to order. The price of the food was fair. The food itself was ok I ordered de Alpastor, asada, and Pollo. In my opinion the alpastor had no flavor and for the most part was dry. The asada was good. The ones de pollo were plain. The salsas were not spicy and to me didn’t taste like anything it might have needed salt. The agua frescas were really good I tried the strawberry and piña one. The older lady that took my order didn’t seem to care or pay attention she kept looking every where else and talking while I was trying to order. Overall my experience was ok but I would most likely not come back.
We got 2 tacos, 2 mulitas, a torta, and 2 cokes and it came out to $44. Food-we tried both asada and pastor. Pastor was good! Asada tasted a little funky. Very chewy, lots of fat, and it was giving low quality meat. Seasoning was ok. It was more like a backyard bbq taste. Tacos did NOT come with toppings. No razzle dazzle there. Maybe you have to ask for it. Green salsa was 10/10 good blended well Red salsa - hotter than the devils butt crack wasn’t blended well?? Was a bit choppy and peppers kept getting stuck in teeth if that makes sense. More of a red taqueria salsa. Has potential. Good flavor texture just wasn’t it. A bit pricey for basic if we are being honest. I wouldn’t rule it out but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again unless it’s the only thing open and we were super hungry. Overall 3/5.
Ordered a few asada and al pastor tacos, it was aight. Waited about an hour for it and don’t really think it’s worth the wait, but it’s something new in Fresno that’s better quality with good prices. The al pastor was a bit too fatty for my liking, the asada was nice and smoky but wasn’t anything I’d wait an hour for again. Overall a solid place but they still have a few operational kinks to figure out, while eating the smoke was flying into our face and we noticed a handful of younger workers who lacked urgency. I’d recommend waiting for the hype to die down a bit before trying.
been there twice and both time got really bad stomach aches and so on. Not sure whats causing the reaction, but its not worth it for me. My agua fresca wasn't even cold and the way they keep there condiments outside there just open where things can get in to them. The people taking your order seem like they don't want to be there. Overall they have potential to be really great, they just have to make a few changes.
Pricing is fair since the tacos are a pretty decent size! Taste is alright. I was excited to try this place out when I heard about it on tik tok, but was not what I expected. I also ordered a pineapple agua fresca that was AWFUL, no flavor, tasted like regular water, tap water to be exact.

This place was alright, my whole family got diarrhea though. Despite always being packed service was decent but I think what got us sick was the salsa stand please be careful people!! After just 2 hours of salsa out that’s when bacteria can start and food borne illness begins, take care of yourselves out there
Went to see what the hype was all about I was very disappointed in the food. The chicken was very plain no flavor and the el pastor was way too greasy! I was also disappointed that I paid for five tacos and only got four tacos and I had to pay a dollar extra on each taco for cheese. And another thing is they had all their common condiments outside not covered where the flies were landing in it! I will never go back to this place

Ordered a burrito de pastor. Charged me $15 and it wasn't even pastor it was adobada. No trompo in site. Over priced and over rated. At least the salsa was good.
Could not even finish my food. Meat was discolored and chewy. Carne asada tasted like BBQ flavored for whatever reason. The sauces smelled sweet and tasted like commercial bought. My stomach felt sick an hour after eating. To make things worse, I waited way too long for my order. My number was skipped 4 times and people who arrived after me were leaving with their food. It wasn't because of what I ordered either, I saw one of the guys with the exact same food as my order got his before me, even though I ordered first. I asked where my order was and got told that "it was next". I should've been gone 4 orders ago, but now I get food that isn't properly cooked and when I get home, I find out they didn't even make my food how I ordered it. This place is a waste of time. Go literally anywhere else.
I will never return to this place again. I was very excited to try this taco truck and waited 20 minutes in line to place an order. I ordered and waited another 45 minutes just to be told by the cashier that they had run out of all meats.
Wanted to try this place today so I thought why don't I go early when they open so I don't have to wait in a long line if there is one. Got there at 2:05 and nothing was ready, no cooks no meat cooking off the grill no al pastor cooking nothing. Lady took our order and I was only willing to wait 20 mins if anyone showed up on time. Then seeing the others arrive and loading stuff into the building I just felt like I was going to either get old food because pastor takes a while to cook on the hanging cooker thing, or wait longer than I wanted for my food. So I didnt want to risk it and left. Plus the other feedback about this place being plain and not that great already made me not want to try it. Now seeing how unorganized and late this place was makes me not want to find out.
If I could I would give them 0 stars. I was Really excited to come and try this place! I came on a Saturday night 7pm, got to the window after about 15 minutes only to be told that they had no more al pastor and tripa. So I ordered 3 tacos de asada, after almost 40 minutes they began calling the customers that ordered ahead of me telling them they had ran out of all meats except pollo. Then they skipped my number and I decided to leave without my food. I will Not be returning, the service is terrible. All the hype for nothing!!!! Go to Taco Pinto instead!!!!!!
