What an amazing place! So quant, so beautiful, and everyone was so incredibly friendly for my friends birthday dinner. Our party of 6 dined with ease and had so much fun. The food is out of this world delicious, and the special touch of the s’mores board with “happy bday” written in chocolate and a candle was such a sweet surprise. We will be back! Jennifer Navors
Dropped by since I was in the area & I was pleasantly surprised at how cute the spot was & how lovely the staff were. The Legendary chardonnay was delicious & dont even get me started on the goat & prosciutto sandwich. I took it togo since I wasn't hungry at the moment, but still wanted to try... SO GOOD. Will definitely be trying their pizza next time & look forward to bringing a date or friend because it is definitely the spot for that. Great outdoor area ~
What a great place. Gabriella our server was awesome… we sat on the patio and the music was perfect at a perfect volume so we could still hear each other without screaming… wine was fantastic what a cute restaurant. We will be back!!!
Eight 11 Place is a great spot when you’re in the mood for good vibes and live music. We ordered pizza and beer, and both were solid — nothing overly fancy, but it paired perfectly with the atmosphere. The service was attentive throughout the night, and the overall setting felt a bit upscale without being stuffy. Prices are on the higher side, but that comes with the territory in Frisco. The outdoor seating with fire pits is a standout feature and makes it a cozy place to relax, though parking can be a little tight depending on when you arrive. I’d definitely return, especially for a date night or laid-back evening with drinks and live music.
Even with the road construction out front, 811 in Frisco is such a cute spot! The atmosphere was amazing with a live band, cozy little fires everywhere, and great energy all around. Our waiter, Collin, truly made the night—he was so attentive, personable, funny, and went above and beyond. He added to the whole experience and made it even better. Definitely worth a visit!
Beautiful place for some wine, good old fashions and super good food! This place will hold a place in my heart as I got engaged there YESTERDAY everyone was so attentive and gave a beautiful presentation for such a meaningful moment! Shout out to Robby for working with my fiancé to organize such a beautiful moment. Definitely visit! You won’t regret.
Local wine bar and pizzeria in a refurbished house with outdoor seating. Amazing atmosphere complete with live music, an outdoor bar and fire pits. Service was great; they were very attentive, friendly and personable throughout the whole night. Food was outstanding as well; pizza, bruschetta and truffle chips were great and the sangria was refreshing even as a non wine drinker. Would recommend as a great place for a special occasion or a date night.
I'm always on the lookout for exceptional places that offer not only a delightful culinary experience but also a unique ambiance. I had the pleasure of visiting Eight 11 Place, in the heart of charming downtown Frisco, Texas. This quaint restaurant, set in a beautifully restored historic house, instantly captured my attention with its inviting patio and warm, homey atmosphere. Upon entering, we were greeted by the wafting aroma of freshly baked flatbreads and an extensive selection of carefully curated wines. The friendly and knowledgeable staff guided us through their wine list, which featured a variety of local and international options, ensuring an adventure for every palate. I was particularly impressed by their commitment to offering a diverse range of choices, from the novice wine drinker to the seasoned connoisseur. The food menu, though modest, offered a thoughtful selection of artisan flatbreads, salads, and shareable plates, all designed to complement the wine offerings. I opted for the Salmon Board which was a delightful symphony of flavors - the perfect balance of sweet and savory, with an added crunch from the candied pecans. The accompanying pizza was a noteworthy side dish, with their golden, crispy exterior and an irresistible aroma that could charm even the most discerning customer. As I savored each bite and sipped my Weekend-tini, I couldn't help but be charmed by the live music playing in the background - a delightful blend of jazz, blues, and acoustic tunes that added to the overall ambiance. The interior design, reminiscent of a cozy vintage living room, was adorned with eclectic artwork, comfortable seating, and tasteful lighting, making it a perfect spot for a romantic rendezvous or a casual gathering with friends. Eight 11 Place has expertly blended the allure of a sophisticated wine bar with the comfort of a neighborhood bistro, creating a hidden gem in the heart of Frisco. It's a haven for wine enthusiasts and food lovers alike, and I eagerly await my next visit to explore more of their culinary creations and wine offerings. A must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience!
Went on a date night and had a great experience here . Wait staff was super nice and attentive. The food was delicious and drinks on point . We loved sitting outside with the fire pits and listening to live music . It is $10 to have your fire going but totally worth it . We will definitely be back with friends next time , cheers 🥂
Eight 11 never disappoints with their food and ambience. It's the perfect place to bring friends and family to hang out while enjoying delicious food and drinks. I've tried the hummus plate, the balsamic blue cheese chips, and the Godfather pizza and they are all killer. Definitely try this place out if you're looking for a place to hang with friends.
We came here for my birthday this year and overall enjoyed our experience! The bruschetta and pizza we got were amazing; I was particularly impressed with the godfather pizza! We sat on the patio and loved the ambiance, especially when the country singer came out! I didn’t looooove our service experience…. It wasn’t bad overall but there was period of time where we needed more water, another plate, and wanted to order another drink and we could not get our waiters attention. He was in and out of the building, talking to friends at the bar…. Etc! We were left trying to wave him down at one point and couldn’t catch him. Eventually he did return but it was slightly frustrating, as it’s not like this is the cheapest place to go to dinner! Hoping that next time we go we can get slightly better service.
My wife and I came here with Another couple. We ordered two paninis, Pretzel bites, Bruchetta and a pizza. We ended the night with birthday smores. The best thing on this menu was the appetizers, The Pininies we're kind of dry, But the appetizers themselves were definitely good. I would recommend coming here if you like to drink wine but not necessarily just for going out to dinner. For the same cost there are other restaurants that may provide you with higher quality and better service. Our server was very kind and nice But she did not bring us water pretty much the whole night.
I was excited to try this place for a date night with my husband. He arrived before me on a Thursday night and wasn’t greeted or helped by any server, so he went to the bar to get a drink. When I arrived, a server eventually came to our table but didn’t introduce herself or acknowledge that it was our first interaction. She simply asked what I wanted to drink, so I assumed she had already spoken to my husband — but she hadn’t. We ordered the brie and apple crostini, which was delicious. We then shared a prosciutto and arugula pizza that the server said was one of their best. Unfortunately, the dough was very undercooked and gooey. We didn’t mention it because the server took a long time to come back to the table. We each had an old fashioned, and my husband tried a wine flight. The server never offered dessert and overall wasn’t very warm or attentive. When we left, we noticed six employees chatting at the bar while the restaurant had only four tables occupied, which made the lack of service feel even more disappointing.
We came here for S’mores and we had reservations, turns out that the S'mores grill was out of order even though we had reservations specifically to do S'mores! Then they told us the two S'mores grill behind us was reserved, even though we were there the entire time, nobody showed up! Very disappointed! Also, on the menu for S'mores, no price was shown, it just stated small 4, large 8, so we thought the pricing was for small, it was $4, and large was $8, but NO, it turns out large was $15, totally not worth it! As for the ambiance, music was played by two singers and the music was good!
The food and wine were good and the service was phenomenal. Everyone we came in contact with was so friendly and wonderful to talk to. Sadly it was entirely too expensive. I had 2 glasses of wine and a delicious chicken, Brie and apple panini with chips that was considerably smaller than I expected and my check was $74. Sadly, this means it will not be a place I go to again for a happy hour with friends. Even though the outside is delightful and the inside is quaint and quiet.
Unfortunately we were not impressed with Eight11 again. We keep trying but the food and drinks were ridiculously priced with a pizza at $30 and a mocktail with 3 ingredients at $11 - $12 if you wanted a fruit garnish. My caprese was $17. I miss the “neighborhood” vibe of when they first opened and it was a simple, not trying to be an elevated restaurant. With only 4 tables of people, their service should have been great. The server forgot our order and came back to get it again - not a problem but coming by 10 times to see if we’re ok and then we ask about dessert and are told the kitchen closed was disappointing. Why didn’t she advise us earlier that the kitchen would be closing and do we want to place a dessert order? Total bill for 2 people was over $145 for a pizza, caprese salad, $65 bottle of wine and tip. Gouging us with prices is not the way to keep the doors open. For us - we dine out often - this will not be on our list again.
While the patio vibe is great and the food has historically been awesome (including their now-no-longer-offered-gluten-free-crust), they have sadly removed their primary GF-friendly menu items. A bust of a date night. The website still even lists their gluten free crust offering at the time of our visit! When our waiter mentioned that he’s had to give disappointing answers to a couple other tables this same night who were also surprised about the removal of GF crust, it seems like quite the poor decision by Eight 11. Had to find dinner elsewhere tonight… Try elsewhere my gluten-free pizza lovers 😢
Overpriced average food with poor service. We asked if the $19 Texas Chips appetizer was made with house made potato chips or french fries and the server responded “they just open a bag of chips and dump a bunch of stuff on them”. That doesn’t sound like the premium ingredients the management refers to in their review responses. Also three people in our party received cocktails with missing ingredients or weird substitutions. $30 for a mediocre 12 inch pizza is just ridiculous! On the way out we noticed that the bartender was watching YouTube videos, hopefully he was learning how to make cocktails.
