I love this place atmosphere is always fantastic and service is amazing always taken care of and everyone who works there is amazing from Jordan to Kalie’s to Kaya and all the others Dale and Heather, Sophia this place is best town and 15 mile radius recommend
I love coming here. The atmosphere is amazing and so is the staff! Jordan is always so friendly! I love coming to a place that makes me feel welcome and Jordan does that every time!
I have been here many times and they continue to improve the experience. This is a great neighborhood place to hangout and food is good. Patio is usually where most after work I sit at and Kaya is one of the best hostesses. She amazingly ensures to manage every customer despite how busy it gets and an asset. Keep up the good work!
Love this place!! Best patio in Frisco!! Great food and live music every weekend. Jordyn and Dale are my favorites always making sure my drink is full.
Went here for Music Bingo. The food was good as one would expect. The service was spectacular, the waitress was attentive and fun. The atmosphere is very fun and party like. I will be going back
Kaya is awesome! She always has a smile on her face and a great bartender! Jordan is friendly and awesome! Always great seeing Kaya and Jordan!
Awesome service, bartender Jeremiah took really good care of us. We ordered the chicken fried chicken sandwich which was fantastic. Atmosphere was great, we loved the music! Very clean place, awesome bar. Definitely a five star experience, come support these guys you will not be let down.
Jordan has an amazing personality, very attentive, focused and genuinely kind, and truly respectful. She's a model staff and service is worth the drive...everytime!
My wife and I have had dinner here several times. They have Bands , piano and some sort of poker in the back room. I’m not familiar with poker 😎. Look at their schedule. I am familiar with enjoying dinner , Drinks and a cigar on the back patio bar as they allow smoking at the outdoor covered bar. We’ve been coming here once in awhile for a few years. All they need is (Toasted simple ) Toasted orange peel simple syrup and Luxardo cherries 🍒 for a real old fashioned. Either way we love this place. Thank y’all great service Kayla.
The Revel always has great music, great service, and food. I hadn't been there in a bit and was suprised by the addition of the Mud Bugs Bar and Grill. I'm not sure what the wife ordered for me (see the pic) but I need more. As I looked around I could see I have a lot more dishes to try too. Everything looked tatsy. Sunday's afternoon music was provided cover charge free by everyone's favorite music school, Rockstars of Tomorrow. The Mires, Terra Inc, and Liar Liar entertained while we ate. The cherry on the top was the Revel's great sound system piloted to perfection by Guitar Dave. Woof.
For our 1st visit, we were thrilled to meet Kylie, our server. Wow! What a breath of fresh air. Fantastic place/environment, & fantastic service. Thanks to Kylie & Joey. We will be back! Thai Shrimp was great
Have been going here for a couple years to see live bands and televised sports events. Food is good and service is attentive, go see Claudia and Victoria they will keep the drinks coming. Can get crowded on Saturday nights if a popular band is playing. Patio is really nice too if you are not there for music.
Jordyn is really the best bartender/server ever. She’s always checking in making sure I’m good, and has high energy no matter when I come in. Definitely come back every time every time for her service.
Jordyn and Makayla are so freaking great! Jordyn is my go to bartender and I absolutely love Karaoke nights on Monday! Great sound, good, drinks, atmosphere, and service. 5 stars for 5 great points🥳
This is a great spot to relax and have some fun with friends, or party it up with music and karaoke! Jordyn is the best such a knowledge of drinks and a fun cheerful personality that makes it fun for everyone around!
Kaya is the best!! She is honestly the best bartender I have ever met. Truly cares about her customers and gets to know them! I appreciate her beyond words. $50
First time visiting, and we traveled all the way from Fort Worth. Came to see the band, Ninety 2 Nothing, and was soooooo happy with our experience! The food was far better than average bar food, and the drinks were fresh and tasty. BUT, I was blown away with the service. The bar was packed (We were told it was because of the band. They were spectacular, and if this is the kind of talent they showcase, we'll have to return soon.) but our sweet server was on point all night!
Kylie was very nice and helpful when I ordered my drinks this evening from her. She is so kind and she always has a smile on her face as she is running back and forth in side and out. Will definitely order drinks from her again.
Love going to Revel. Drinks, sports, music, and great food. My go to spot on Monday night. Jordan always takes great care of me. She is my fav!
Great band 80’s Gadgets. The manager was very gracious to my special needs daughter and brought her ice cream after the kitchen closed.
If you're looking for a laid-back spot to kick back, grab a bite, and enjoy good vibes, this patio and grill has the recipe down. The food? Solid. Think classic grill favorites—juicy burgers, pizza, and some seriously underrated tacos. It’s the kind of menu that doesn’t try too hard but hits the spot every time. Fridays are where it’s at if you’re into live music. It’s the perfect backdrop for a cold drink and some laughs with friends. But don’t sleep on Thursdays. One minute, it’s heated trivia battles over 80s movie quotes and classic rock lyrics. The next, someone’s on the mic belting out a tune you haven’t heard since high school. It’s like a throwback party with good food and no curfew. The patio itself is spacious and relaxed—string lights, good seating, not too loud unless it’s supposed to be. Great for date night, friend hangs, or even solo time with a drink and some people-watching. All in all, it’s the kind of place you end up coming back to without even planning it. Good food, chill crowd, and just the right amount of entertainment.
I have been going to the Revel for years now and it’s only gotten better! The atmosphere is awesome very spacious patio that is heated in the winter and huge fans and misters for the summer. Some of the best live bands around! Music Bingo on Tuesdays and Trivia and karaoke on Thursdays! Cornhole and darts too! A great menu selection for anything you may be craving! Amazing fruity frozen drinks to keep you cool! The staff is amazing and very attentive and the best group of regulars ever! You’ll find most of us on the patio outside! So come out and grab a cold drink and have some fun! Hands Down best place around! 😎
Had a lot of fun here tonight! Refreshing to have a "chill" place to go nearby. It was our first time to visit Revel. Michaela, our server, was very attentive and had great suggestions on what to order, etc. She was awesome! It was a fun night, as they were doing music bingo. Sadly, no one in our group won, but it was enlightening to go somewhere that wasn't "Legacy West" or "Frisco Star" fabrication .... just a fun, local home -town bar with regular people and fair bar food. Cheers! Will be back when the weather is nice, we can sit on the patio, and listen to good music!
Best *stage* karaoke I've ever seen (and done). Shoji does a pub trivia & karaoke on Thursdays, preceded by a seriously good dueling pianos combo (on multiple days.) Amazing setup, great wait service, clean, new... It's all good here. Fantastic spot for food, fun, and friendly folks.
We’ve been going to The Revel for years, especially trivia and karaoke on Thursdays — it’s so much fun. We love the live music events, as well. The drinks are strong and the food is great, but the staff is especially fantastic. Everyone there is super friendly and somehow remembers you after just a couple visits. Even after we moved farther away, we still make the trip every week. That says a lot. If you’re anywhere near the area and haven’t been to The Revel yet, you’re seriously missing out on a true neighborhood gem.
That place you go to for a great experience. After numerous visits, I’m happy to report service is always served with a smile and some personalization. I’m used to getting that personal service where you are greeted and treated like you are the only person in the establishment. The Revel delivered. On my second visit I was greeted by name and they even remembered my choice of drinks. This is important because modern day bars just see you as the next tip and not a future regular. If you are a non smoker you have an amazing area to take in a cover band, karaoke, or open mic night. If you do smoke you can sit at the covered outdoor bar and take in the weather rain or sunshine. Giant Jenga anyone? Maybe you prefer shooting pool or just relaxing after a long evening at work. Either way you will be taken care of and enjoy the ambiance. For those of us that smoke and sometimes forget to bring a refill, a cigarette machine is provided that accepts only cash, so bring your small bills as it only accepts cash. At around $10 a pack you won’t have to go very far to continue your good time. As for the environment it’s about as relaxed as you can hope for. I would definitely recommend this place for a friendly gathering, after work cocktails, maybe even an office party for those responsible adults looking to celebrate a retirement or birthday. Thank you for making my visits amazing and smiling every time you see me.
Everytime I get this direction, I spend most of my time here! The atmosphere is perfect. The people there, working and customers, are great people. The waitstaff is great. Always fun to chat with Kaya!!😊😘
We love karaoke nights, but it wouldn’t be the same without Makayla. She is not only pleasant and knowledgeable but she remembers what we like every time and anticipates our needs. Always with a smile on her face. It definitely makes a difference to have someone like her around!
There is always something going on at the Revel. I go during the week because I work on the weekends. There is live music, open mic, trivia, karaoke, dialing pianos, cover bands, etc. the food is good, prices are reasonable, and the staff is great. I always see Jordan and she takes care of me. Lastly the ppl that go there are all cool. There are the usuals and the once in a whilers, and every now and then you get the stragglers. It’s the perfect local spot you can hit up regularly or whenever your schedule allows.
Patio bar on Superbowl Sunday. Super busy but Kaya took care of everyone quickly with a smile. Definitely worth visiting!
I recently visited The Revel Patio Grill and was thoroughly impressed with its inviting ambience. The combination of great drinks, live music, and delicious food created the perfect atmosphere to unwind after a long week. The selection of drinks was extensive and well-crafted, satisfying a variety of tastes. The live music added an enjoyable touch, enhancing the overall experience. The highlight for me was the delectable food – each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. The inclusion of games like Jenga was a fun surprise, providing an interactive element to the evening. All in all, The Revel Patio Grill offers everything needed to relax and rejuvenate, making it a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a memorable night out.
First time checking out The Revel after moving near by. Had a great time tonight catching the Tears for Fears tribute band Mad World! Nice drink and food menu and good service. I hope to see Mad World back another time - we will bring more friends!
If you looking to mingle or get food late> this place customer service and the staff here are amazing! Jordan and Dale sling em like no other!! Their the best, but I'f you happen to miss them...its okay you'll still have a blast and good ol time most of the time! I totes reccomend this place for anyone. ENJOY ⭐️ 😉
We wondered in here randomly on a Thursday night and had an amazing time with Mikayla as our server. There was an amazing comedian attempting to host trivia which made the atmosphere hilarious. It’s the type of spot you walked into and just know you’ll enjoy being there.
I highly recommend. I had a great time and had the best service I have ever had. Our server Makayla, was so sweet, funny, attentive and helpful! She was on top of it with any questions we had and her service over all was amazing! We will be coming back and asking for her anytime we go back!
Jordan was the best bartender ever! She was so accommodating and she did above and beyond to make sure we had the best time ever! Definitely will be coming back!
Band was amazing tonight, I met the best servers Victoria and Claudia. They took very good care of me and my family. We will 100% be back!
Had a rad time on 80s night! 80s Gadgets was fabulous!! Dani was a wonderful server—attentive & courteous! We’ll definitely be back.
Had such a great night! The band Mad World was absolutely fantastic. The hummus was also delicious! Please book Mad World again. We would love to come back to see them!
Extremely casual with touches of class. First time in Friday night...fun, fun place. Live band, screens everywhere, pool tables, outdoor patio, just an overall great, comfortable atmosphere. Sat at the bar...gentleman bartender "Dustin" and young lady (name escapes me), super attentive mixologists who know their drinks, mixing them fast but still spot on with touches of flare that look effortless. Even with a bit of a rush, including serving food and table servers, there was no real wait. They were professional and friendly and handled every customer in that same manner. The menu is better than what you would expect from this type of atmosphere and the food is so good you want to come here just to eat. If you haven't been, you should...just check out their website to see what's going on an when! They even have serve Sunday brunch, who knew?? Why drive out to Dallas or anywhere else, when there's The Revel!
Great find! I was skeptical about a patio bar in a parking lot, but it has a great vibe; especially if you sit outside. The food was good, the beer selection was average. The service and the atmosphere made this place for us. We went for relaxing on a patio on a week night after work, and that's what we got. Try out the big Jenga! So fun.
Came to The Revel and got a Philly Cheesesteak and mac and cheese, both were phenomenal! Always sit on the patio an love the energy out there, Kaya and Jordyn make sure it’s a great time every time!
Jordan is such an amazing bartender! She is very attentive and just a fun spirit I look forward to when I enter the Bar. Highly recommend … Mondays are Epic With Terry Karaoke and Live!
It was my first time here, came for the company and cover bands..Last night was Huey Lewis/Back in Time, and Bryan Adams/Run to You. I loved it- had a blast drink prices were 40$ 4 shots/ Mosaic beer 7.50$ quite average. Didnt eat here. Great energy. Def an older crowd. More boomers with Generation X around-X is my gen! Will def be back.
Me and my friends love to meet up here after work. Jordyn, Sophia, and Kaya are great to hang out with and we always have a good time. Nachos are our go to for food and of course always cold beer!
Our waitress Kylie was amazing and this was our 1st time here. Will for sure be back in a few weeks as we are moving to the area. The food was great and Kylie made the experience so good. See ya soon
This whole place has such a good vibe! Jordyn was my bartender and she was great! Pool tables in the back and great singers on stage for karaoke!!!
This bar is my go to bar for so many reasons. My beer is always ready and they have the best miller light in town! The patio has great people and a great atmosphere! They have a wide variety menu so there’s always something for everyone. Kaya and Jordyn are great and always make sure everyone is smiling and having a great time!
I feel like there's a reason Jordan and makayla have been here for so long, in an industry that can have such a high turnover rate. That reason may be their consistency of service. Ive never had a "bad" experience when they work. I appreciate walking up and my beer is already open and waiting for me. As many folks that come through here that they serve, I value that sort of personalized attention.
Kaya is the absolute BEST!! We will be back every weekend to visit her. The food was amazing and she was extremely attentive. Love this place! 💕💕💕
We're truly enjoy our experiences here, especially when our favorite bartender Dale is on hand, making our incredible drinks. We're also enjoy the people who gather, particularly the loyal regulars, and the outstanding live bands that perform. Oh the food is good too. We recommend that you stop by and check it out and say hi to Dale for us.
Went for NYE with 7 other people . Loved the food , drinks and first band . Waiter took forever and messed up all the checks and lied about happy hour drink special. 2nd band was an Guns and Roses cover band - too loud and not as fun - left before midnight .
Our family comes every week for trivia on Thursdays and have a great time. Our server, Makayla, is our favorite server and takes amazing care of us every time. In fact she often has our drinks to our table by the time we even sit down. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun event in the Frisco area.
We absolutely love playing at the Revel. They have great staff, very hospitable, the food is amazing. Definitely the best place to catch live music and entertainment in the North DFW area. The stage, lighting, and sound make you feel like you are at a major music venue and definitely comparable to large scale music venues. The wings are great! The tacos and pizza are out of the world! Hands down the hidden gem/best kept secret in Frisco Texas!!!
This was my first time in but I’m moving to this area and I’m sure this will be my new hangout! The food was amazing, I ordered the Sampler. Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly and delicious! Highly recommend the watermelon vodka Rita… sooo good! But, the best part about the visit was my waitress, Kylie. She took the time to tell me about all the activities that happen thru the week. Encouraged me to walk around and check out the pool room and patio. I left feeling like I have a new friend! Check it out and ask for Kylie, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!!
I had an amazing experience thanks to Heather! From the moment I sat down, she made me feel welcome and taken care of. J Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and incredible drink knowledge really stood out. Every cocktail she made was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. What really made the night special was how effortlessly she handled a busy crowd while still giving personal attention to each guest. You can tell she truly care about making sure everyone has a great time. If you’re stopping by the Revel, do yourself a favor and grab a seat at the bar with Heather—you’ll get great conversation, flawless drinks, and top-notch service every time.
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere! Makayla is the best waitress/server in such a large establishment. We moved tables so many times and she was so accommodating. The bartender Victoria is also on point an amazing. Very perceptive to her busy “well” and customers. I’ll be back with the crew. Thank you all so much. What an amazing karaoke night with the Little Elm group!
I come to Revel pretty often, and the main reason I keep coming back is because of the great service and super friendly bartenders. Specially I love it when Jordan is behind the bar. Jordan is hands-down one of the best bartenders around — super friendly, welcoming, and always on top of things. Whether the place is packed or pretty chill, Jordan somehow manages to give everyone great service without missing a beat. She remembers your drink, make solid recommendations, and actually take the time to chat and make you feel like a regular — even if it’s your first time. The drinks are always spot-on, and the vibe at the bar is just better when Jordan’s working. If you’re heading to the patio, do yourself a favor and grab a seat at the bar. You won’t regret it.
Food was fantastic! The tuna tower has great flavor without hiding the tuna! Crawfish étouffée had just the right amount of spice with a good portion of crawfish tails. My husband had the traditional style crawfish and said it was one of the best he’s ever had! Highly recommend!
I can't thank and praise enough Lisa at the front door. She is amazing, super professional and helpful. Awesome place, incredible sound for live music. Food is great, and the Appetite for GNR band is amazing. Favorite live music place in DFW
The Revel Patio Grill absolutely delivered one of the most fun and unforgettable nights I’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking for a spot with a great vibe, strong drinks, and seriously good food, this place checks every box. The music that night was absolutely phenomenal — the kind of live set that gets the whole crowd moving without feeling overdone. You could feel the energy in the air, and everyone was clearly there to have a good time. The drinks? Spot on. I ordered an old-fashioned, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in the area. Perfectly balanced, smooth, and crafted with care — not too sweet, not too bitter, just right. You can tell the bartenders know what they’re doing. The food was also on point. Whether you’re grabbing appetizers to share or going for a full meal, everything came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of menu that fits the atmosphere — fun, bold, and satisfying. What made the night so great, though, was how everything came together. The crowd was vibing, the drinks were flowing, and the music kept everyone in high spirits. It was just one of those awesome, slightly wild nights where everything hits just right. Highly recommend The Revel if you’re in the mood for a night of great music, killer drinks, and good vibes. I’ll definitely be back — and next time, I might just order two old-fashioneds.
Went there last night to watch a couple bands play, it was my first time there. Way better than I expected. This place has a great sound system and a lot of room to move around. The service was great, we didn't have any issues keeping our glasses filled. When you walk in you enter the main bar / venue. Off to the left is another room that has pool tables and another bar. There is a very large patio with its own bar as well. They had roll clear covers to keep the chilly weather out. Was very comfortable. Parking is not bad, but there are other parking lots within walking distance. Thumbs up.
I love going here for Trivia on Thursdays! I stay for karaoke sometimes afterward, and it's so much fun. I saw a cover band here, and the music and stage equipment were fantastic. The show exceeded my expectations on every level!! I have a lot of food allergies but the staff is accommodating and there's still items to eat. The drinks are delicious as well. The staff are super friendly. I reccomend visiting here!
We tried this place and were highly impressed! The snow crab was well prepared and had great flavor (we got the nitro and enjoyed the spice level). The shrimp was properly prepped and cooked to perfection. The boneless wings were a great size and the sauces were all delicious. The catfish came in strong and did not disappoint the fillets are HUGE. Overall this place was great, we will definitely be returning. They have a bar and live music on the weekends. Really cool pool table section, all around a great atmosphere. If you go ask for Val, she was incredible and made the entire experience a 10/10.
Top favorite for live music and great food. We arrived around 7:30p. There was no wait and plenty of tables. We got a great table upfront. When we first arrived they had a duel pianist on stage playing various covers. Fun music to sing along. Then the main band came on stage at about 9:30p. They were AWESOME! Their name is Rawk Train - highly recommend seeing them. Super fun, danceable classic rock music. Spent $200 on 3 people. We had 2 appetizers, crawfish dip (a MUST) and southwest egg rolls (not recommended - tasted hard like they were reheated). For main course we had a pound of crawfish, blackened sea bass and tomato cream, and fish and chips. Had the bourbon bread pudding for dessert. All the food other than the egg rolls was incredible. Our waitress Kalise was attentive, well dressed, and great overall. The only odd thing that happens was that we were charged $20 over our tab. We left her tip in cash, so I’m a bit bewildered over the extra charge. I will be contacting the restaurant tomorrow. Once they help resolve this discrepancy I will be more than happy to remove this statement from the review. Otherwise I recommend this place for a fun dinner night with friends or family. I will most definitely be back.
Visiting from out of town, and this place was next to where I ate. Great experience! Kaya, Victoria, And Kelsie, are the best. Definitely coming back. Not only were the drinks perfectly poured, but the music is something I don't want to miss.
That was my first time at the Revel. My food was good. I had the chicken wings/ranch dipping sauce/w fried green tomatoes and also the gator bites. Everything was good. Service was great. I would go back again.
Great venue/bar/restaurant! The food...delish! The bar is long and well attended. The stage is really great, excellent sound/lighting. They have a great selection of the area's best bands. On Wednesdays they even have an earlier show, very nice on a school night. Bring a date, have dinner and drinks, home in time to get plenty of sleep before work Thursday.
If you like great food, atmosphere, service and a fun time this is your place. I’ve been coming here for a while now and I’ve never had a bad experience. This is where adults come to relax. Live music and fun events every week and a staff that will treat you like a friend not a customer. Shout out to Destiny!

In from SA and came for thr 80s cover band. Matt was thr BEST waiter! Daddy did me right! Victoria was amazing! Will definitely come back.
Went here to see Blake Nation. We ordered sliders, the giant pretzel, bbq chicken sandwich, and the Texas Cuban sandwich. All four were good but the Texas Cuban was the best with the pretzel coming in second. They have a full bar, but not many craft beers and even less local craft beer. The atmosphere is nice and there are plenty of tables. The tables were a little closer than I'd have liked but it wasn't a big deal. The waiter was also very attentive and nice. Wish they had more local craft beers though so I took one star off. All in all I had a good experience.
I think the Revel has the makings of an incredible Place to hang out...there is a patio, games, and really good afforadable crawfish. However when we visited they had no staff to speak of... the service was slow and we had to so the heavy lifting. One tip, your cocktail sauce really is not great. Try mixing ketchup with horseradish and a squeeze of lemon and save yourself whatever it was you gave us. Get staffed up and the crowds will come!
Although we were disappointed with the requirement to be at our pre-purchased table by 9pm when the show didn't start until 9:45pm, especially since we had to endure an unadvertised pre-show event that was not to our liking, there were definitely high points to our experience. The food was excellent, and the Margarita was outstanding. A special shoutout to our server DJ, who was incredible, making our experience much more enjoyable. Additionally, the 80s Mix Tape was fantastic. Our evening had its ups and downs, but the positives, particularly the service and main event, left a lasting impression.
I would give it a 5-star. The food was great, the service was great, and the wait for my food was a bit. 20-25 mins. This was around 3:30. Hardly anybody was there. Other than that, great place. Highly recommend!
Very nice place with good food & ambience. It has everything you can think of. They have a game room, live music on weekends, bingo on Tuesdays, a full service bar etc. You can watch sports too. So with all this it can get pretty noisy. I’ve been there twice. I am not happy myself giving them 4 stars but I’ve to. Both the times, I went there with our Volunteering group. The 1st time, they messed up on my drinks. The person in the bar refused to take my order and was mumbling something. I didn’t mind it much thinking he might be having an off day! I placed the order with the waitress at the counter and after very long time I got the drink but didn’t look like it was the drink I had ordered. I wanted to ask but nobody came by and I started having it. After what seems like forever the waitress came and said ‘Oh sorry, that’s the wrong drink’ and gave me what was supposed to be mine. It was watered down so much! I wanted to give another chance before I wrote a review. This time around, I ordered the ‘Shrimp Kabab plate’ and not drinks. I am not kidding it took solid 30 min and more. I thought maybe they forgot my order! Mind you most of the people had already ordered and it wasn’t crowded. The food was good so no complaints on that. By the time I got my order and finished eating half of my group had left for home! Just wanted to help y’all to set your expectations when going there.
Makayla was our server and she was so sweet and served us well! We had the gumbo and the jalapeño poppers and they were good! Also, we came on music bingo night and it was fun!
I've been here twice now and I actually really like how dead it is during the evenings. Karaoke on Thursday is really fun! The stage is a nice size, and it's not too loud. The food is pretty good. I got BBQ wings and the sauce had an itty bitty bit of spice/bite to it. The staff was nice, but it took just a bit longer last night for them to refill my mom in law's water cup. Overall it's a nice place to hang out.
The Revell: Great Vibe, Solid Apps & Drinks Spot The Revell is a fantastic Cajun-themed bar and restaurant with a lively atmosphere, especially if you're looking for music, karaoke, and a place to hang out. It truly shines as a social spot for games and drinks. Regarding the food, I started with the gumbo. The roux was great, giving it that essential deep, rich base, but I do wish it had a bit more of a spicy kick—it was flavorful but could use some heat. For my main, I had the catfish. It was fried perfectly with a nice crunchy exterior, but unfortunately, the fish itself was noticeably lacking in seasoning. Thankfully, the accompanying remoulade sauce was excellent and truly saved the dish, adding the necessary flavor and zest. Overall: While the entrees didn't quite hit the mark on seasoning for me, I would absolutely come back here for the atmosphere, to enjoy a few drinks, catch some music, and stick to the appetizer menu.

Very expensive yet there’s nothing else in the area but empty land. So just because you’re in “Frisco”. I found prices outrageous. More expensive than Manhattan New york. Meals in Manhattan were $9-$15. I was told they charge $10 for entry. Parking was hard to find. Bartenders are attentive. Prices were not available on the menu for most drinks/Beers. Doubt I’ll be back.
I have been getting my crawfish from here and they have been great. However I saw they had blue crab so I ordered a pound for $9.99 per pound. I got two crabs and there were decent size. Howeve…

We really enjoyed the evening. Great venue with good music. The service was fine, but I recommend the beer because the mixed drinks are weak af.
Went to see the Chris Stapleton cover band Traveller. Left at 11pm. Opening band was ok. Cover band played only Miranda Lambert songs. We came & paid to hear Chris Stapleton songs & still nothing by 11pm when we left. Very disappointed.
Service was really lousy at this place. They also charge about 5% extra fee if you use a credit card but the prices are about the same or a little higher than places with the same type of menu and they don’t tell you prior to ordering or seating you that they have a surcharge for using a credit card. Food was good not over the top but it is a sports bar and like most sports bars food is not of high quality. We had to share menus because some of the menus did not have all the meal options. We had to wait about 35 minutes just for the waitress to come back to our table so we could ask to have our water refilled and to get our checks. She never refilled the water. She was literally 20 feet from us talking to some guy and looking at her phone not waiting on the 3 table that had customers. I can’t recommend this place for food and service and will not return mainly due to the poor customer service and the extra charge for using a credit card.
9/16 update...came out tonight to listen to the Seger and Boston Tribute band they were excellent. We had to buy a 5 top table @$25 per seat in order to sit. However apparently if you come to dinner pre-show and sit on the patio then you can come and go into the band area for free. We sat at table 10 by the hallway to the patio and ate more kept getting blocked and the women used our table where we ate as their drink station. (Original post follows)The restaurant dueling piano.. should change the name to dual.. because they play in sync, there is no duel. Soooo many children.. at one point Twinkle little star was played, and Baby Shark. The kids ran around disruptively and placed their little kids request. We paid to reserve a table $12pp and the waitress had no idea why we had wrist bands. No one else has them . Wasted those funds. Reservations didn't really seem needed for this family friendly vibe.

I've been going to the Revel since it was Grovers and the Resevoir. Before tonight I would have given it a solid 4+ star review. Since Covid died down, there business has picked up. On the weekends they have live bands and charge a cover, typically $15. They have an online reservation where you can pay a premium to reserve tables, but you have to purchase every seat at the table and most are for 6, with a few 4 top. Couples are stuck at the bar or a side rail. I know not to go on busy nights unless we have friends going and can reserve a table. Tonight was a very average band, I looked online and the 4 tops were taken, but almost all of the 6 tops were available. My wife and I decided to go and take our chances. We got there about 745 and We were told that even though there were plenty of OpenTables, they were being saved for parties of 6. We got a bar stool along the wall, had some drinks and ordered food. Around 920 i went to the hostess station. While waiting a group of 4 with no reservations came in and said they wanted a table together. She sat them at a 6 top table. When she returned I asked if we and another couple next to us could get one of the open tables. She told me to give her about 5 min and she'd see what she could do. The band started late. Around 945. She never came. After 10, there were still 4 open 6 tops and a 4 top near us. My wife and I moved to one of the tables. Our waiter told us we couldn't sit there. It was reserved for big parties. I pointed to all the open tables and he said he'd ask the hostess. She came to the table and didn't remember me or that she had said she'd see about getting us a table over 30 min earlier. She told us the table was reserved. My wife said that all of the reserved tables had numbers on them. She lied to us and told us she had just removed the number and that the people called and said they were running late and we had to move. Not only had there not been a number on the table, you have to make reservations before 4pm. And if you aren't there by 830, you lose your table. There was also another 6 top with one person by himself that had came from the bar and no one said anything to him. At that point I was PISSED. I asked for our check and they couldn't have cared less. We left a little after 10pm. On the way out we ran into some friends, told the what happened and that we were going to Sherlocks. They later came to Sherlocks and told us that no one ever sat at the open tables and after the first set around 1030 many people left. Dear management, I've posted dozens of times on social media about how I've enjoyed watching bands at the Revel, especially during Covid, i have spent a LOT of money there on food and drinks, but tonight you have lost both a loyal customer and supporter. The hostess and waiter were both rude, and the hostess flat out lied. The reservation system sucks unless you have 4 or 6 people in your group. We would have gladly sat with other people. I will no longer be recommending this place. Ps... it's been 5 months now. Not a single comment from management. Sad.
just waited at the bar for 20 minutes with no other guests at the bar and maybe 15 people in the whole establishment and never got greeted or spoken to lol plenty of staff saw us and chose to ignore us. save yourself sometime and drive down the street to derbyshire! great service great drinks
Honest to god was told by an entire bar full of people NOT to uber to this one. Sounded like a challenge. Being from Texas, I was appalled by the behavior of some of the male staff towards female staff and patrons, particularly a gentleman in a black camo Revel branded polo. He actually ANNOUNCED in front of multiple tables he wanted to cuss out one of the servers IN FRONT OF HER TABLE, and then took her away from her table to most likely berate her inside. Disgusting behavior, can not imagine being that young ladies father and hearing about that. If you have values anything like mine, take your business somewhere else.
I was excited to have a new crawfish spot close to home, but I regret giving it a try. As a crawfish connoisseur, I’ve had some of the best—and unfortunately, this was the worst. Ordering over the phone was easy, and prepayment was required, which wasn’t an issue. But when I got home and opened my 3-pound order, I was beyond disappointed. The crawfish were small, dirty, with tails falling off, and had a mushy texture. While the flavor was decent, most were inedible, and to make matters worse, it didn’t even look like a full 3 pounds. It’s a shame they would serve something of such poor quality.
Food is subpar and the manager has a bad attitude if you don’t like the food. We ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich. The meat looked like Jack Link’s jerky, just grey. The burger also came with a very grey patty, half the size of the bun. Pretty sure the potatoes were reheated for the fourth time. They looked like chocolate chunks. Nachos, just no. Victoria was very nice but when they served my grandson waffles with nuts on top, which is not indicated on the menu, the manager made it very apparent that he was annoyed when we said he can’t have nuts. We tried it, but won’t be back. AND, THEY CHARGE A CREDIT CARD FEE TO YOUR BILL.
Such a bizarre place. Walked in and my group was the only people here in the entire restaurant. I had great experience with Manny the server, he gave amazing recommendations for food and drinks, he even sold me on a more expensive cocktail. We waited forever for the food. All of a sudden out of nowhere he came up to let me and my friend know he got fired during his shift despite the amazing service he gave us. After that the server that helped us did not seem to care about us or help with recommendations on the menu. A group walked in while we were eating and asked us if we worked there because it was so empty without any workers. We spoke to management about our experience and he did not hear our frustration. He tried to give us free vouchers for a concert night but they were covered in food or something? He also felt comfortable touching me on the shoulder which I actively despised. Never eating here again; good luck wherever you end up Manny. You can do better than this place
Last night was one of the most disappointing live music experiences I can remember paying for. I came to Revel in Frisco specifically to see Emerald City—a band that has been known in Dallas for years for excellence: strong vocals, tight musicianship, and some of the best horn players around. That reputation is the only reason my group drove from Dallas to Frisco and paid $50 per person for a VIP table of seven ($350 total). Unfortunately, what we experienced was embarrassing—both for the venue and for a band that once set a very high standard. To start, the venue experience itself was misleading. I had never been to Revel before and wrongly assumed that a $350 VIP table meant an upscale music venue. It is not. Revel is essentially a large, crowded bar with TVs everywhere, wooden floors and tables, and a packed layout that made it difficult to even move once seated. Think Road House—minus the cage. Despite calling ahead and explaining that we had dinner reservations and were coming only for Emerald City (not the dueling pianos that started at 5:30), we were met with confusion about start times and warnings that our table might not be held. To their credit, the staff did hold the table until 8:30 as promised, but we arrived to a tightly packed VIP section with little room and no clear service. The dueling pianos played until around 8:45 and were, frankly, unimpressive. My guests were already questioning why we had driven all this way—but I reassured them that Emerald City would make it worth it. They did not. Emerald City didn’t begin playing until after 9:30, and from the very first song it was clear something was seriously wrong. The sound mix was atrocious. The bass and drums were so loud they drowned out everything else. The horn section—arguably one of Emerald City’s strongest calling cards—was almost completely inaudible. The singers were forced to scream just to be heard, and even then the vocals were strained, off, and painful to listen to. This wasn’t a “bad night” or a minor technical issue. This was a full set that never recovered. I kept expecting them to adjust, recalibrate, or find their footing—but it never happened. Service only added to the frustration. We could not find our server most of the night and had to track down another staff member just to order and eventually close out our tab. Ultimately, we left during Emerald City’s set because we simply couldn’t justify staying any longer. As we stood outside regrouping and laughing in disbelief at how bad the experience was, a large number of people poured out of the venue—shaking their heads, visibly frustrated, clearly leaving early as well. We weren’t alone. I haven’t seen Emerald City perform in a few years, but based on last night, I would not intentionally go see them again. Whatever made them great in the past was not present here—whether due to sound management, venue limitations, or the performance itself. This was a complete waste of time, money, and expectations—for me and my guests. I truly hope both the venue and the band take this feedback seriously, because what happened last night should never happen at this level of pricing or reputation.
