Good food open late in the drive through but closed in the restaurant. Burrito is husband the plate menue is fantastic.

I enjoy this location. Everytime I go there's alway these two ladies alway willing to help and with the most welcoming smile. I recently got the "kicking large Nachos" and they were huge! Enough for 4 to share! Will definitely continue to visit.

This place is amazing! I live in the Midwest and wished we had Taco Cabanas! This place makes me hate Taco Bell that much more! Please come to Indianapolis, IN! Please! Their salsa/hot sauces are incredible! Made fresh! An amazing variety of tacos! One of my favs is the queso/jalapeno brisket! Yum!!

I absolutely loved the bean and cheese taco! Location is right off 75 near spring creek flyover, makes it super convenient to swing by, even during busy mornings! I normally love Taco Cabana and I frequent the one on Spring Creek Parkway in Plano a couple of times a week. Here lately my order has not been correct, I have gotten charged for items I didn't even order, I was not given my Senior Discount when I specifically asked for it and an employee told me I would receive and one of the drive-thru employees needs a major attitude adjustment!! She is rude and acts like she just can't be bothered. It has only been the last few weeks with these issues however I would suggest going to a different location!!

Went for dinner about 7:00pm on 10/10. After we ordered it took 19 minutes to get our food. They were not busy, so I'm not sure why it took so long. This place should close or fire all employees and start over with new ones. There was one family in front of me and we stood there for a good 5 minutes while the drive thru worker and the front in cashier laughed and looked our way. The cook was standing in the prep area eating. I walked out and will never go back.

I've lived in the area for 25 years. I've regularly eaten here for 12 when I want a lazy meal, this is the worst it has ever been. Firstly, Yall need to do something about the beans. I can't even enjoy basic bean and cheese tacos because there are random bits of unmashed, hard as rock beans mixed into the refried beans. I could throw them at the wall and they'd bounce off like stones. It's disgusting. You want to bite into some refried beans and bite down on crunchy bits all mixed into your tacos? I ordered beans, not peanut butter. This has happened any time I order something with beans in it the past few months, as I've tried seeing if it was just a one off situation. I've finally given up on ordering them. Also someone has been randomly putting loads of black pepper and salt into peoples tacos?? I went last weekend for a dozen tacos; every single one was inedible due to this, and this was never requested to be put on them. By the time we realized. We were back home already, and it wasn't worth driving back. The service here has gone downhill, they are consistently screwing up orders in the drive thru, the quality of the food is gross. I don't think I can eat here anymore. Quite disappointing. Yall went from a passable 7/10 for those nights where you don't want to cook, to a solid 2 on a good day. Don't waste your time, until this entire location is redone top to bottom.

The cashier (nithin, employee #119220) was rude. Food came out fast, albeit very very greasy and over fried on the flautas. Breakfast taco was good, black beans were good. The girl that brought the food to the table was super nice and honestly should be a cashier instead of the other girl. It's just a good thing no one here works on tips.

The food here was so delicious and the drive thru person was super nice and courteous, but there was significant problem. I ordered a family fajita dinner, large steak quesadilla, and a queso blanco stuffed burrito with ground beef. Only problem was that there was no ground beef. None. Not at all. There was a lot of cheese on top (delicious!), tasty rice, a smear of beans, lettuce, and tomato, but not even a speck of beef. Now, don't get me wrong, it even tasted great without the meat, but that's not what I ordered. I would have gone back, however the Taco Cabana is 30 minutes away from home and I don't want to spend another hour on the road or waste that much gasoline. I would suggest that you check your order before you leave.

Don't get me wrong, I love Taco Cabana's food. The issue is with this particular restaurant. I appreciate the fast service but quality is lacking. The last 3 times I've been there I've had spilt nachos, spilt salsa, and spilt cheese... resulting in a mess of my food. I paid almost $20 for cheese soaked tacos. I didn't order a chimichanga. They need to focus on the quality of service.

Went through the drive-thru to pick up some tortillas. As we sat waiting at the window, the weirdest sounds, like cackling, laughing and yelling, were come from the other side of the drive-thru window glass. Anyway, we got our tortillas and we went got home 15 minutes later and opened the packages, the tortillas were gooey and completely undercooked. Luckily, my wife is Mexican and was able to salvage the lot, but we won't be going back.

Like many other reviews, I'm done. Food is cold and inedible. I ordered street tacos with no cilantro ( tastes like soap to me), she read the order back and repeated no cilantro. What I got was handful of cilantro tacos with steak sprinkled on. Did not return to correct order as the other items were cold and inedible too. No thanks. Won't be back. My family came here a few days ago and we instantly regretted it. The food had no flavor at all and had a weird taste to it, like plastic or something. The station for the sauces looked gross. I got street tacos so I forced myself to try a little bit of the red sauce/salsa, (I don't know what it was) but it tasted like it was expired. There was no ice in the fountain. Employees are ignorant and refuse to acknowledge TABC laws. This location has lost my business. Went at 7pm for dinner, cashier stated they were out of all fajita meat, which was over half of the menu, they only had shredded chicken, asked if they could put the shredded chicken on one of the items, told us no, they can’t make that substitute. Shredded chicken was watery and gross, margarita tasted like 409 cleaner, ordered chips and queso, asked if we could get that after 10 mins of waiting, they stated they were working on a online order….cool. The food we did get was cold, trash cans were stuffed full, lights were dimmed down. Clearly this place doesn’t want business, I’m confused. A big group of high schoolers came in and they ran them off as soon as they got in, stating they were out of food.

Man i grew up in this neighborhood and it does not matter how many chances i give this place. They let me down every time and I’ve finally accepted they will never provide the same service they did back in the day. I go to the drive thru today for breakfast and the girl had an attitude over the intercom from the start. I get to the window and she gets visibly upset because I ask for salsa, grunting and sighing after I requested. She couldn’t even remember to put basic forks and napkins in my bag. I don’t know who taught this kid that beans and rice are finger foods but I’m just exhausted at the thought of how this place has declined. I can guarantee that I will be sticking to Rosa’s Cafe or any other spot that sells similar food before ever coming back here. Almost wish they’d close down and open up a food joint that actually gives a damn about their customers.

The last time I went to this taco cabana the order was wrong and had to go back. Today same thing so I had to do back and tell them what was missing. The same lady was at the window both times who says she is the supervisor didn’t say I am sorry for the order being wrong nothing. She acted like it didn’t matter. Take pride in your job for goodness sakes. don't come to this taco cabana go somewhere else.

This is the worst location! I appreciate Taco Cabana because it is fast and tasty. I try to give this location the benefit of the doubt because I work in the area, but each visit I am let down. I have yet to receive a correct order. I always have to return to the store because they’re missing ingredients, such as chicken and other major components of the entree. People spend their dollar with an expectation. The employees of this location need to be held accountable for their insolence. Grow up and do your job. Put prejudice aside, you chose the fast food industry, don’t take that out on ordinary people similar to you who only want a decent meal with their hard earned money. Customer service is within. Hiring clearly has a hole because the employees are awful. Worst location. Don’t go!

I’m officially done getting breakfast tacos here. Several times they have been terrible for one reason or another. Weird chemical taste in potatoes, super cold eggs, today it was half a dollop of beans in my entire bean and cheese taco - and I’ve had this exact issue happen before…several times.

Attitudes were flaring up at this joint. We waited a while for our food and because 2 of the people working that morning didn't speak English very well, people's orders kept getting mixed up. The manager or lead or whoever she was didn't do anything to solve the problems. The beverage dispenser didn't have ice, so they had to fill our cups from the drive thru.... they got Attitudes about that, too. We were going to dine in, but the atmosphere was so terrible that we just went to our car to eat.

This store is severely understaffed. The bins for plastic forks and knives were empty. I almost walked out while waiting for someone to take my order. Management really needs to fix this. If they don't, I don't see how they will remain in business. It took 25 minutes for my food to be brought out. It's not great for a fast-food restaurant.

The pictures tell the story. During the close to 30 minutes we were waiting for food, I was kept company by dirty tables, dirty floors, uncleaned spills, and tortillas spilling out of the machine. Once the food finally did get there, it was over-salted institutional grub that looked nothing like the menu. Definitely not going back.

Service was very short, from the order process to the end. We watched older woman serve all other guests and just left our food on the counter. She seemed very annoyed at either us or just to be at work in general and was not a welcoming experience. Felt very excluded and unwelcome. To finish the visit I got to enjoy walking out the door into a cloud of smoke where she was smoking a cigarette.

I think I once went here a d thought the ground beef was above average for a cheap taco place. Every time I've been back it's been saturated with grease and is disgusting. I'm a huge fan of rusty taco so decided I'd try their steak street tacos since this TC is a lot closer to my house. What I got looked nothing like the picture (or what grilled strips of steak should look like). The best way I can describe the meat was mushy, almost orange colored. Like a different type of ground beef, definitely not strips of steak. Also there was some "filler" in there that again wouldn't be on real steak. I have no idea what I just ate but I probably won't ever be going back. Update 9/24/2016: I live two minutes from here so inevitably I gave them another shot. I've had some okay meals here but nothing great. Today I got a taco that was barely filled (see my photo). Management at this place is pathetic. Hire some employees that understand what is and isn't acceptable product to sell to your customer. I'll go anywhere but here from now on. This location the times we have been there nearly always gets the order wrong. When bringing it to their attention, always an attitude and rude. The staff they have hired don’t look like they work due to their clothing. There must not be a mandatory dress code. The way they dress and act towards the customer reflects how they appear. Today June 15, 2025 was horrible. I don’t ever post complaints but today was just to much. I would not go to the location. Other locations I’ve been to have been fine.

I’m an ups driver and I had to use the bathroom but of course they said I have to buy something to use the bathroom which is stupid since ups drivers are limited to bathroom stops! This was one of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had. We have been here for over 27 minutes after. I only ordered an order of flautas 2 tacos, and 2 churros. The bread for the flautas and churros were so dry. And it really sucks because it’s not like all of the food is made to order on a grill at that moment.

I did not get any salsa with my half dozen breakfast burritos and the tortillas were hard as a rock. Missing the steak in my quesadilla. It was burnt bacon. The bottom of the pizza was soggy and fell apart like mush. There was only a 1/4 of a teaspoon of sour cream for an entire quesadilla and no guac. Food tastes horrible, old, and super burnt. Came here a month ago, service at window was bad, just seems like they hate their job, decided to give it another try, no improvement, the guy who took my order was surprisingly rude, sane attitude as the prior employee at the window.I just drove off.Customer service needs improvements incident occurred 7:30am 11/29/25.i like coming here cause food tastes good and the portions are also the way they should be.

I placed a mobile order at 5:53pm, and it said it would be ready at 6:01pm. I arrived at the drive-thru right at 6:01, but was told it would be another 10 minutes. When I asked if I should park and wait, the response was basically “umm, you can” — not very helpful. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even pull out of line since there were two cars in front of me, so I was stuck waiting in the drive-thru. The whole point of ordering ahead is to save time, and this completely defeated that purpose.

STRONG AVOID. 1. it took 25 minutes, after ordering, to receive three little street tacos and three little deep fried taquitos, which they call flautas...AND yet, the meat was cold and chewy/old. 2. the cashier was having a horrible day, was extremely rude without reason and then shorted me a dollar $3 and change for this wildly overpriced food. 3. The soda mix was not syrupy and tasted like just carbonated water. 4. Even the chips were stale and chewy...

Worst TC ever… I like tc food and prices in general, I know there’s multiple stores so I’m definitely going to a different one, but this store specifically is THE worst.. Always dirty, staff always in a bad mood and don’t seem to care about customers, the food is mid at best at this location like they don’t make it right. Came here a couple of times because it’s close to work but not anymore. Would rather eat somewhere else than here. The McKinney TC is really good if you can go there I’ll recommend it 10/10

Taco Cabana was a decent place when I went years ago. Either the quality has gone down terribly, or something was very wrong with this location. Everything about the experience was negative and off-putting, most of all the poor quality of the food. The salsa bar says made fresh daily. It's a big selling point. But if you look at the picture I took, all three salsa options had plastic wrap around the edges... Wrap that had been used to store it overnight. Maybe made fresh daily doesn't mean it was made today? It was gross, not fresh. I could go on and on about tortilla dough on the floor around the machine, and the general poor quality, but I'll sum it up as follows: this Taco Cabana is a disaster, and I'll never return. Suggest going somewhere else. It would honestly be hard to do worse!
