I came here on a late Friday night. The staff was Absolutely wonderful. The food wasgreat it is Denny's, but it was fantastic. It brings back so many memories, and I absolutely love it. They are really a good place down on the East end of Galveston. It's reliable, always good, and the folks running the place work so hard and really are great!
Denny's was clean, and the food was good. Prices were great for summer time on Galveston Island. Sadly, one complaining customer really upset the staff and drew negative attention to herself. She seemed to think she was promised a private room, and she seemed to want the staff to make the large party eating in the room leave it. It really made no logical sense. The staff were extremely professional, in the difficult situation.
The waitress we had was awesome and the food was excellent.

Enjoyed my brunch here with a group of friends and kids. I took the Santa Fe, and loved it. Service was good, and the hostess served us well.
My husband and I LOVE DENNY'S !! AMAZING SERVICE 😁👍NO MATTER how BUSY they are, the waitresses ALWAYS have a smile on their face and PLEASANT attitude 😀 The food has always been HOT and DELICIOUS 😋❤ MUCH THANKS to the COOKS ALSO!! My only complaint is..WE WISH we had THIS DENNY'S!! where we live 🥺😥😫
Slim fit breakfast great! Scramble eggs, spinach served with bacon and a muffin. Bowl of fresh fruit.
If it weren’t for a rude lady in there talking so loud that people outside could hear her, I would’ve gave this place a 5 star rating. A waiter by the name of Dustin is the only reason we stayed and waited on our food. I will return because of him, not the lady.
Very good service and food at a reasonable prices. You can always depend on getting good quality food.
Hubby and i have always preferred Dennys. Checked reviews on this place and it was mixed with negative and positive. We took a chance. Glad we did. Kristian (might have misspelled, apologies) was precise with our order. Food served quick and exactly as requested. We will be back when we are back in area .
Our visit to Denny's was pretty good. I had the Salted Caramel banana pancakes with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, & sausage. Hubby had a Philly Cheesesteak omelet with toast, & hashbrowns. The boys has a Cheeseburger and the All-American Grand Slam. Everything was delicious, even the coffee!
Good place to have breakfast! They have the regular options which you get at all Denny’s. The service is a little slow but they all are very friendly and helpful! There’s enough parking and enough space inside but the restrooms are not that great. This Dennys a located a little bit away from all the crowd pulling spots (such as the Pleasure Pier) which is good in a way because it doesn’t get “over” crowded. Overall, the food is great and the service is good.
The wait staff was great but this sampler was garbage.the chicken pieces were over done. The tiny bit of fries I got was depressingly small and it tastes like they haven't changed the fryer oil. Depressing.
The staff is very friendly and helpfully. The servers are generally attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious and prepared correctly.
lousy place! the place was without air conditioning they had fans but the temp was 89 it took them over 10 minutes to serve us. The waiter John said it was his first time that we had patience with him but he did very well except for the young woman who was the cashier, I was paying and she stopped serving me because she started talking to her high school friend and showing her things on her phone then she began to drink apple juice and until she finally remembered that I was paying return
maybe it's a known fact to not go to a Denny's at 1 in the morning but I decided to go and utterly hated it, food was the worst I've had at any restaurant PERIOD, and the service was horrible I utterly hated it and never recommend this place to anyone.
Cheese sticks and wings burnt all to hell, sent back, and was reserved the same wings just covered in sauce. The manager Jason was cooking. Wow they must think we are really stupid. Where is the HOSPITALITY!
This was my steak, egg and pancake breakfast and a turkey meat with hash browns. I also ordered a strawberry cheesecake which was absent upon delivered. The restaurant did absolutely nothing to help me and told me to contact Waitr. Denny's is responsible for the food and it was garbage! Don't ever give them your business. It's straight up nasty and stealing money from Islanders. Shameful & disgusting. This is literally how I received my food which was inedible! Watery undercooked eggs and hash browns, NO steak, NO pancakes as ordered. Sandwich with not complete without cheese hash browns and brown inside. Manager Tiffany offered absolutely nothing. $50 in the trash.
The food was dirty and tasteless. The staff were hostile, yelling at costumers and talking at the mobile while serving tables. Tables, floor and bathroom very dirty.
Old pancake batter used. Flat off tasting pancakes. Service is super thin so I didn't even get my complete meal. The ham is a strongly, sweet honey ham. Hash browns half burned then covered with slightly under cooked hash browns. However the eggs looked perfect but my stomach was hurting from eating part of the meal so I didn't try them. Was only able to get 1 cup of coffee. However staff was limited. 5 tables in the whole place. We'll try again in another year. We live here so we only try it once a year in hopes. Because we love Dennys but I think in the future we will stick to the Webster location it's not a franchise so that may be the big difference.
