Good Italian food. Served family style so come hungry! Order small plates because a large plate will feed 6 people. Had the lasagna, chicken parmesan and shells with the calamari, meatballs and spicy shrimp appetizers for 6 people. There was enough food leftover for 3 more people.

As always, very good food family style portions, could suggestions on the menu from the server. Overall I thought the food presentation taste and flavor was definitely an A. Unfortunately the only negative is very crowded, very loud, hard to talk to our table of five. However we will visit again next time in the area.

Went here the other day with my friends and were impressed with the decorations and atmosphere of the restaurant. However, I would suggest getting the margarita pizza as oppose to any other pizza or pasta. Our pasta was not as flavorful and overcooked. Would highly suggest the pizza though, it was delicious! Our server was very kind as well helping my party have a stress free dining experience. Before ordering keep in mind each pasta dish is made to serve 3 people for the regular size and 6 people for the large size.

OMG, Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant is amazing 😍, not just the food but also the vibe, will definitely bring my family to here for a big meal next time. Traditional Italian restaurant interior decorations, wooden walls with lots of photos of individuals or groups of people, friends, families, very warm atmosphere here. My dinner here started with their Apple Gorgonzola, Granny Smith apples, spiced walnuts, dried cranberries & Gorgonzola tossed with mixed lettuce in our signature Italian vinaigrettes, VERY FRESH and light, though the portion is big, you can easily finish it by yourself. Like particularly the kick of the spiced walnuts' crunchness. Followed by Shrimp Fra Diavolo, garlic shrimp & crushed red pepper with penne in their "heavenly delicious" spicy rosa sauce, plus the sprinkles of chili flakes, this is really one of the best pasta I've ever had.

Came here for lunch, first time at this location, with husband and got seated right away. This restaurant is always warm and inviting in terms of decor and atmosphere. Service was very friendly as always. Ordered the salmon sorrento with side (I chose spaghetti with marinara) for $16 and for $3 more I added a Caesar salad and it was very flavorful with capers, citrus sauce, fish was cooked wonderfully and spaghetti is always so good here! My husband got the chicken parm with spaghetti with marinara and a house salad for about the same price. We got complimentary Sourdough dinner bread with oil and vinegar and then my husband ordered the cheese cake with strawberry glaze ($15) Yum!!! All in all, this location did not disappoint as like all the others we've been to! It's nice to have consistency in the same restaurant regardless of the location! Highly recommend especially for our two lunch entrees, dessert, and beverage at $65 before tip!

I stayed in Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim so this Italian place is literally 30 second from the hotel lobby. Had dinner and drink for three nights. Good service, food and drink.

Buca di Beppo is known for family style dining and while they serve large portions meant to be shared, this style might not be for everyone. The simple Italian menu items ultimately look good, but many appetizers are frozen and fried. The food presentation looks and tastes ok, but I do believe for the price you pay for Small or Large portions... it should be unlimited. The following is what $179 for three people get you. We had the trio of appetizers, bottle of house wine, pasta and one entree. Not sure if this was just Anaheim (Disneyland area) pricing but that is just crazy. Surely the pricing seems to be a bargain but is deceptive as the three person portions aren't of highest ingredients comparative to the price. $35 for a bowl of pasta, $46 for salmon and $41 for appetizers and while it does "feed" three people, the quality was sub par. Three cuts of salmon, a semi-sauced Alfredo and enough fried calamari and shrimp left overs for the week. The real treat was the service and wait staff being tremendously helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately for families with budgets and looking for quality over quantity, I recommend to look for other restaurants before deciding on Buca do Beppo and their high $55 pp price.

This is a cool place for large parties but the food is just okay, needs some more flavor (except the stuffed mushrooms and mozzarella garlic bread they are fire!) and I feel it is over priced. $40 for a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs that has no flavor is excessive. Tonight's service was not the best our server forgot a drink and was hard to track down for some water and when my son asked the bartender for some water he was told to ask our server instead of helping him out. (We would have asked our server if we could find him). The cocktails we ordered didn't have much if any alcohol in them and our dessert "tiramisu" was dry.

The parking lot was clean. The waiting area was not too crowded yet. I went with a party of 8 people including some preteen children. We were seated quickly. The server was polite and helpful. She gave recommendations, which I was delighted to hear. While she took drink orders, I looked at the flatware which was very dirty. In fact the fork had a dried on piece of food. I made a face and took a napkin and wiped off, scraped then polished the fork. The server noticed but said nothing. Our drinks were delivered the server still polite ☺️ The camera person walked over to the table and I took that moment to go to the bathroom sink to wash my fork with soap. The event leader ordered and the food was delivered. It was family style so it arrived in large serving platters/bowls. The garlic bread was killer delicious 😋 The seating is open and tables are very close to each other. I am confident that there were families nearby who hated us for being a group of loud co-workers 😬

Okay, now this is CRAZY! For Veterans Day, I came in for the free Meatball and Spaghetti and it was FABULOUS! So a couple weeks later, I am in the mood for Italian and I want to show my appreciation for the previous free meal and decided to come back here for dinner! So I am seated and my lovely server Giovonna asks me have I been here before and do I know about the Shared Portion sizes! I smile and say yes, and I told her I am hungry and I can eat a lot! She leaves me the menu --- and I am FLABBERGASTED to say the least! Three (3) meatballs and spaghetti are a WHOOPING $39.99 and a basket of bread is $19.99! Luckily, I only ordered water to drink, and when Gio came back, I apologized to her because I am NOT paying $60 --- minus tax and tip just for me! She then tells me, if I go to the bar --- I can order the lunch menu there and get out for about $20! I decline, because the last thing I want is a drunken slob bloviating mistruths when my only desire is to have a nice, quiet sit down meal in an Italian-styled atmosphere! I left a two-dollar tip and bounced! So --- Morale of the Story: SINGLE DINERS . . . beware!

I recently dined at this restaurant for a feast meant for four people. Right from the start, I was impressed by the speedy service we received, which made our experience enjoyable. As for the food, it was decent—not spectacular, but certainly better than what I’ve had at Olive Garden in the past. While this place isn't my top choice for Italian cuisine, I opted for it because I had my toddler with me, and I wanted to stick with something familiar and safe for a family-friendly dining experience. Overall, it turned out to be a satisfactory meal, and I appreciated the convenience it offered during our outing.

My friends, party of 4, came here on a Wednesday night around 5pm and it wasn't busy at all. They sat us in a back room with about 4 other tables which seemed to be the only others dining in the entire restaurant. After being sat by the hostess it took about 10 minutes for a gentlemen to show up to say hello. We knew what we wanted so we ordered right away so we didn't have to wait longer. We weren't offered any bread or had any dropped at our table. We got our drinks fast and food about 15 minutes after. When the food came we asked if we were able to get bread as nobody brought any by and we're informed it was only by request? Nobody told us that when we were sat or even when we ordered, so we asked for the house bread. I guess 3 dry cold pieces of ciabatta is the house bread. No oil or vinegar was dropped off with the bread either. So after about 5 minutes of trying to find somebody walking around, we requested the oil and vinegar. It was like a ghost town and everyone was hiding from guests. We ordered small plates which were underwhelming for the prices charged. When we were done it took about another 10 minutes to flag a different server in a new section they opened to come by and asked if we needed anything, yes the check. We saw our server a whopping 3 times the entire service and never came by with the check. The other server helped us again. 3 small chicken breasts cut in half (a thin sliced breast, not even a full sized one) with lemon, shrimp pasta and a plate of cheese manicotti and 4 soft drinks came out too 145?! The service was horrible as nobody came to the section unless food was coming out and you had to flag someone walking by for anything. Food was mediocre and portions were so small for the prices. I haven't visited buca in a few years but I remember loving it because the atmosphere and food portions were outstanding. This chain has definitely gone downhill and I would not ever recommend someone dining here with family or friends. I'd much rather support a local family business that values their patrons. I was embarrassed to even take my friends here.

Seated in a quiet corner of the bar, we watched as laughter and attentive service flowed everywhere but to our table. It was as if we were behind a pane of glass, looking in on the celebration we’d come to join. Our server, who was also busy behind the bar, seemed worlds away, and the minutes stretched out slowly, emptily—no water, no greeting, just the growing sense of being forgotten. When the food finally came, long after we’d given up on timing, it was a mix of small mercies and deep letdowns. My wife’s Alfredo was freshly made, a cruel contrast to my own plate of rubbery, clumped pasta and lukewarm sauce, clearly abandoned long before it reached me. By then, we were just hungry, and the chance to speak up never came—our server vanished again for what felt like forever. We ate in quiet resignation, the joy of the occasion seeping away with each passing minute. I had told them, more than once, that this was a special night. It’s a detail that now hangs in the air, unanswered. In the end, we paid dearly—not just in cost, but in that quiet feeling of having been overlooked on a night that deserved a little light. Maybe somewhere, in another location, the spirit of that restaurant still lives. But tonight, as I paid for my own birthday dinner in silence, even the dessert we were promised felt like a distant rumor. We left carrying the weight of the evening, a celebration that simply… wasn’t.

Buca used to be good. I’ve heard it has gone bad through the years. We went in to give it a chance and see if it was as bad as they said. It is and much worst. Portions were still a lot but the prices were also way too much. The chicken was so dry it looked like it’s been in the freezer for awhile. I tried drowning it in its own pesto sauce but the pesto sauce was so thin and had no taste. The lasagna was huge chuck of dried out ricotta cheese. Savemart marinara sauce tasted way better. Save your money. Go somewhere else. McDonald’s chicken nuggets would have been a better choice.
