My family and I visited Bubba Gump in Anaheim October5th and 9th 2025. I had Mama's Fried Chicken and my wife had the Shrimp. The fried chicken was crispy, the mashed potatoes and gravy were great. The service was prompt, professional and informative. We enjoyed it so much we went back a few days later. We also enjoyed the the restaurant decor and tone. I was a fan of Forest Gump and now I am a fan of the restaurant. If you're in town I recommend checking it out.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Doesn't even begin to explain how great of an experience my family and I had! Our first time ever eating at Bubba Gump Shrip Co. On Santa Monica pier! There was a little bit of a wait, however we were connected immediately via text and given a time for how long our wait for a table would be. To kill time we visited a couple of the stands and shops near by and the time went by rather quickly! We got our text that our table was ready and was seated down stairs by the amazing staff, very friendly and very comforting! We ordered a different variety of food dishes and all very exceptionally satisfying! My husband is a shrimp fanatic and was satisfied with everything we had ordered! The waitress was on top of her game and was very attentive to our table along with many other tables and made our first time experience the absolute best! The prices are a bit high but very well worth it! Shout out to Darian( Dee)! Thank you so much for your bubbly service!

Wait was faster than expected! Great service and server. The birthday song was so funny and entertaining. My fav about this spot is the ocean view and pier view. Everything we ordered was very good and flavorful. The lobster dumplings were fired just right an were not dry. The lobster bisque didn’t require and extra seasonings and had two pieces of lobster. Sampler platter was well presented and the flavor didn’t disappoint. The lobster and shrimp were cooked perfectly as well as the veggies. Service was good we had a very nice waiter who checked in often. The only disappointment was they don’t valet parking. 💁🏾‍♀️ to avoid paying you must leave within one hour. This was annoying especially since we paid premium prices for the food.

We were pleasantly surprised to be seated in a short amount of time (11 people). Staff were nice and welcoming. Food - aside from “sticker shock” - was splendid. The kids menu was quite nice as well.

I looked up top restaurants in the area and Roy's came up. I didn't realize it was a franchise (which is fine). The lobster bisque was delicious BUT you only got maybe 1.5 cups of the broth (which I could drink a bucket of), and maybe 1/2 a claw of lobster meat for $20. The mahina roll was tasty, but the rice was a bit over cooked (mushy in some parts), and the habanero sauce wasn't very spicy. It was fine.

Had dinner there this week but was a bit disappointed in the food. Traditionally Roy's has very consistently prepared food. We enjoy it as much in Hawaii as here,but tonight was different. The appetizer platter had good ribs, and spring rolls but the tuna roll,and the lobster potstickers lacked flavor. I ordered the shrimp on udon noodles.The noodles were well seasonally but the shrimp were very dry and a little over cooked. My husband had the short rib and miso cod combo. He enjoyed the fish but the short rib was also dry despite the sauces. The choc souffle was dynamite. Typicly when I have a disappointing meal I always give the restaurant another trial. Hoping next time I visit the Anaheim a Roy's it will be back at the level of the Maui location.

We’ve eaten at Roy’s in Hawaii and enjoy our Anaheim location whenever we are in the area. Staff is incredibly kind and customer service oriented. Food was yummy but the gnats were out of control. The entire time we were seated we had to literally fight them away. I even killed a few! They should look at getting their carpets deep cleaned or just removed. Crumbs and spilled food juices are living in the carpet. Hope this restaurant can improve their cleaning practices because I’ve never experienced that prior at this location.

I recently dined at Roy's Fusion Restaurant and had a mixed experience. The presentation of the dishes was impressive, earning an 8 out of 10, while the taste definitely stood out at a solid 9 out of 10. The scallops were cooked to perfection, but unfortunately, the shrimp was overcooked, which was disappointing. One major downside was the service. The servers seemed stretched thin, and it felt like they were understaffed, which resulted in a long wait time for our food—almost 3 hours! This significantly impacted the overall quality of our experience. Considering the price point for the food, I expected better staffing to match the quality of the dishes. I hope they can resolve these service issues because the food itself has great potential!

I reserved a booth for five of my family and friends for the day after Thanksgiving. We enjoyed a great meal with great service. We asked if they had anything vegan, and they brought out an entire menu. Bravo! PROS: Fresh quality ingredients. Wonderful friendly service. They sat me in exact spot I envisioned. The ambiance and arrangement was slightly uncomfortable. The lobster bisque with lime juice and coconut milk created a unique interpretation that appeased the palate. The fresh scallops with lobster sauce incorporated well with the black rice. The cherry heirloom tomatoes did merge well. The chocolate "souffle" tasted nice, but the ice cream with spiced crumble delighted the senses. CONS: The ambiance was more casual than any other Roy's that I dined. This could be the case due to the proximity to Disneyland. OVERALL: It's a good value compared to the other higher end "chain" restaurants in the Anaheim Convention area. Nicely done! This restaurant will get mixed reviews from myself (and the company that was with me.). We all enjoyed the staff and felt they were very helpful making sure our questions were answered and any food allergies were considered. However, there were two dishes that were just not good or as expected. This resulted in my four versus five star rating.

The briased short rib was nothing short of AMAZING! The Prix Fixe special is the best deal. Braised short rib, salad and the chocolate souffle. They make an eoic Old Fashioned too, althiugh very small, like a dram bit a cocktail. The only gripe I would say, is that you spend 500.00 in food and drinks and they dont validate an 8.00 parking ticket? Even PF Changs validates. Does Roy's feel like they ate above validating?

If you like forest gump and also food with a fried crumb, you'll be delighted. The beer is nice. The food is perfectly fine and the fries are tasty too. There are also TVs with sports. But not real sports in the European sense. Lots of throwing and stopping and starting again plus a lot of ads. Friendly staff tho.

Shelby was a great server!!!! The food was ok. Excellent amount of avocado on the burger! Tempura shrimp is not tempura. It’s mushy. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Overall, we really appreciated Shelby as our server. Very personable and helped up navigate the menu- her recommendations were very appreciated!

The shrimp were not clean, rum Forrest looked like a mocktail the alcohol was not felt, the Pinot noir looked like it had been open for days. However, the Mahi was good and the mashed potatoes too. Living the experience was ok, the tiki glass was nice, but I think that's all.

Enjoyed dinner at Bubba Gump. Our server was very fun and attentive. The peel and eat shrimp was very good. The bang bang shrimp were ok but more bleeding than shrimp. I had the fish and chips and while I've definitely had better fish and chips, it was ok. Fries are nothing special and the coslaw was to dry for my liking. I'm sticking to more shrimp next time

First Visit to any Bubba Gump and my main reason to come in was for the Steamed Spiced (Cajun) Shrimp (peel & eat) and it did not disappoint! Cooked perfectly and delicious. I did find it odd that they didn’t serve it with cocktail sauce, I had to request it, and according to the person who brought my food out, you’re supposed to request if you want it. Caesar salad wasn’t good at all. The dressing was extremely vinegary and not tasty at all, I had to choke it down. I also came in haste, dined in haste, and left in haste all because the garage parking only gives you ONE HOUR FREE parking and the restaurant doesn’t validate to allow you to relax and enjoy your meal and in this type of place it would be nice to enjoy the “experience”.

Terrible Service! I am a huge fan of Bubba Gump. I’ve visited locations in Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles, and also Anaheim before. But today’s visit was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had on a U.S. vacation! At Bubba Gump, they usually ask if you’ve been there before and the servers always take the time to greet you properly. Not this time. The waitress didn’t bother to ask or even position herself properly at the table. As always, I ordered the shrimp appetizer, a main dish, and a soft drink. The drink came quickly, but to my surprise both the appetizer and the main course were brought out together. In all my visits to Bubba Gump, that has never happened before – and it’s not common in the U.S.! I mentioned that this was not okay, and the waitress simply took the main dish back. After finishing my appetizer, the “kept warm” main course was returned, but it was far from good. Maybe it was sitting for 20 minutes, maybe it was reheated – either way, it was dry and not tasty. On top of that, my drink was already empty after the appetizer, but the waitress didn’t bother to bring a refill until I specifically asked for it. It honestly felt like she was annoyed by my comment about the food being served all at once. When the bill came, I did not leave a tip – because there was no service at all to tip for. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant manager available to address this behavior.
