Tender, juicy 8 oz filet, cooked to medium rare perfection. Perfectly grilled asparagus spears drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. Tasty onion bread. Highly recommend the ahi tuna poke appetizer - just the right amount of heat with crispy wonton chips. Signature lava cake dessert is a chocolate lover's dream. Excellent, friendly, attentive service. The only negative was that the table beside me was apparently smoking/vaping weed. Sucks for me - I'm allergic to it 🥴- and had to leave before I was ready to - but the staff handled this very graciously.

Five stars for a great experience from jasmine!!! This place has style and class and if all the servers are like jasmine just WOW! Probably my favorite dining experience ever! First time in and she made it really special for my birthday 🎂 not to mention amazing food and ambience!!!!

Morton’s ranks in the top 10 best places to get the finest steaks! The atmosphere is dark and intimate. The selections are premium choice! We didn’t spring for the A5 Wagyu this time, but it was tempting! The medium rare filet was on point! Accompanied with a la cart sides - corn soufflé, asparagus, and truffle fries! What a meal!

The service was nothing short of exemplary, with every member of the staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. As for the food, it was truly a feast for the senses. Each dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing the skill and expertise of the culinary team. From succulent salmon to decadent sides, every bite was a delight. Of course, the cocktails were exceptional. A special shoutout is owed to the manager, whose attentive care made our evening truly special. Their dedication to ensuring that our daughter’s cheerleading competition was a memorable experience did not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for their hospitality.

We had an amazing dinner with fantastic food, great service and wonderful atmosphere at Morton's Anaheim. Dress up, order a steak, share a side dish or two (try the Jalapeño Mac 'N Cheese!) and don't pass on dessert! Creme Brulee is amazing! We just had some apps and small plates at the bar but everything was awesome, especially the scallop app and the bacon, aka pork belly. Bartender was great and drinks were good.lobster bisque was good but prefer a less heavy version, but that's a personal preference. Crab was good but prefer lump crab meat, but again that's personal.

We came to Celebrate our 15 year anniversary, by making reservations within Google maps. We showed up early and we’re treated amazingly well. The made sure our anniversary was especially one of a kind. From the maître d', our hostess, our amazing server Jason and the server assistant, service was phenomenal. Our Sea Bass and Prime Manhattan were cooked to perfection. Overall amazing food and spectacular service. Thank you!!

Came here for the first time and to celebrate our anniversary and wife was super happy with the menu having a congratulations note on the top was everything. Sat at the bar for some cocktails while our table reservation was ready and robert the bartender was excellent best attention and service by far anywhere we have been . The atmosphere is perfect, romantic dimmed lights and everything was very fancy . Can't wait to go back and try everything' on the menu . Started of with prosciutto wrapped mozzarella then We had the porterhouse steaks and juicy and tasty to the very last bite our sides the Troy which is sautéed mushrooms and onions also truffle fries and complimentary dessert for our anniversary we went with the cheesecake omg the best. I really strongly recommend mortons Anaheim worth every penny 👍

We had the best dinner experience at Morton’s. The food was off the charts along with the service all the way around. They went above and beyond in assisting me with my engagement plans. I asked for a romantic table area, I had flowers delivered to Morton’s and they placed them on the table before we arrived to surprise her and they did not disappoint at all. I highly suggest the dining experience they provide. It’ s number one on our list. By the way she said “yes”, BOOM!!!!!!

Today, my wife and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, we were late for our reservation, which was not a big problem for their staff. We were seated promptly. Our server for the evening, Moises Moreno, was beyond excellent. From the start, he was on it. Our drinks were never empty, he had great suggestions on dishes, and was very knowledgeable with any questions we had. We had another individual, whose name I am unsure of, come by to check on us as well. It was great! Ultimately, our experience ended with an excellent jester from Moises Moreno for my wife and me to end our meal and night. This was a 10/10 as far as food, service, and atmosphere. We will be back in the future. Also, parking will be Free/validated upon leaving the restaurant. Park in the Sheraton parking lot directly across from the restaurant's Valet parking spaces if you choose to.

It a fancy place to eat. Recommend for special occasion. Dress code is business casual. Better to make reservation, they do walk ins but it does get busy. The atmosphere of the restaurant is 50s modern maybe 60s. The food is so exquisite and the desserts so too good to pass. Highly recommend, very expensive but worth trying out.

Fantastic Steakhouse. We sat in the bar but same quality of service. For me the beauty was also a full gluten free menu. (See picture). We started with a Napa flight of 3 wines. After a great mixed grill. And the steak we enjoyed with a Mendoza wine. It’s a little expensive but the quality of food and service is worth it.

We went there to celebrate my partner’s Graduation Day and we loved it . One of the reason why I gave this place a 5 stars rating is because service was exceptional, I wish I could remember our waitress name, If this helps we were there August 7 around dinner time, he was very nice , attentive, friendly and also helped us with the menu and gave us some recommendations, thank you so much for that . Overall, this place is nice and food is very fresh and tasty .

OMG the food here is fantastic. The Cajun prime rib is delicious just the right amount of herbs and spices. The asparagus was both tender but had nice crunch biting into it. The Brussel sprouts were amazing... Island Bessie is one of their signature drinks and it was sweet fruity and packed a punch. The whole experience was wonderful.

We had the best anniversary dinner here! Menus were customized with the names of my wife and I. Our table was decorated accordingly. It was beautiful. As for the service, it was everything you would expect from a high-class steakhouse. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. And the best part was the food. My wife and I ordered steaks along with Mac n cheese and au gratin potatoes. Everything was delicious! We will be returning to this location in the future.

You get what you pay for! The wagu fillet was amazing and everything else was great. Good quality food. The Service alone is amazing! It was our anniversary so they printed custom menus with our names congratulating us and had flower pedals on our table. That's detail.

Excellent as always. Our waiter Brian was perfect. Food was timely, hot and well prepared. The manager Cliff ensured everything was to our liking more than once. The entire staff made us very comfortable. The menu was specifically created for our anniversary dinner and we were surprised with a complimentary dessert. I highly reccomend the experience.

We usually spend our anniversary dinner at the Ranch. But my wife wanted to try Morton. The dinner was perfect. Everyone is so polite, friendly, and attention to detail. Casey, our server is super helpful with the menu. We ordered the bone in ribeye and twin cold water lobster 🦞 tail. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the lobster was so tasty. The foods were outstanding, and the desert is just out of this world 🌎 😋. Can't wait to return to try out other dishes.

Celebrated my friend's 30th birthday in a big way and everything was so scrumptious! We had such and amazing time and dinner was so lovely. Since I've been here before, I tried to order something new and I was easily impressed! Starting from the appetizers, both were pretty delish! I wasn't too much of a fan of the sauce with carb cake but that's just because horse radish is not really my favorite. Their prime ribeye was AMAZING! We got it with black truffle butter and another in oscar style and they both did not disappoint. I also got the lobster macaroni and cheese and it was so yummy. Shoutout to the staff and our server, Andrew. I know our party was a lot to handle at times, but thank you for your patience and kindness with us! The night was perfect!

August 2023 5* Generally I only write review of restaurants where you can find many vegetarian options. Morton's The Steakhouse may not be the place for vegetarian people but I really like few things at this place. The bread served at this place is so so good. It is freshly backed and served little hot. You can find very few vegetarian options like Potatoes with cheese and Mushrooms. However, the place is very popular and ambience is very nice. The staff is very nice and courteous. The place if fully accessible and well maintained. The restroom are clean and accessible.

I have to say this was the best experience we ever had at a steakhouse. My husband and I were here for our 1st adult trip with no kids and of coarse had to do dinner. Our server Kyle knew what he was talking about. Everything he recommended was fantastic and was above our expectations!!! They sat us quickly and food was out in a timely manner. The manager Donnie came out when the potatoes were running a few min behind and personally brought them to us when they were ready. We truly loved the atmosphere and decor.

The seafood tower appetizer was delicious and the presentation very good. I made the mistake of not ordering my filet medium rare and the picture shows it is cooked medium and the flavor and tenderness was great. Everything is al la carte and the sides were cooked to perfection. If you order an appetizer, a few drinks , an entre and sides expect to get a bill well North of $100 per person. The previous day I had the sea bass and had no issues so the are consistent, very good, and pricey.

I’ve visited several Morten’s and I must say, I was once again very impressed. The food was excellent, Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The 38 ounce Porterhouse was phenomenal as were the twin lobster tails, sour cream mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and winter Green salad. The shrimp cocktail was chilled and the shrimp were a nice size. The blueberry Mojito and lemon drop were made perfectly and tasted great. The meal was priced accordingly for the portions we received. Our server George did an excellent job and was very attentive to our needs. He ensured our water glasses remained full throughout our entire meal. He was professional, friendly and very personable. This is exactly what one would expect from a server at a high caliber establishment. With that, I’d ask that he be recognized in some fashion for his work. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge Lilly at the reception desk. Her professional demeanor and pleasant personality was customer service at its best. Often time the first person one see’s can set the expectations for the guests and speaks volumes of the restaurant. She was a great representative for the restaurant. I’d also ask that she be recognized for her service. We truly had a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely recommend Morten’s to my family and friends.

This is what a steakhouse is supposed to be everything from the start to finish is A+.The waiter was extremely knowledgeable funny and professional.The food was excellent simply perfect.Hats off the the kitchen job well done. The management also knocked the ball out the park even when unforseen circumstances arise he was on his game. We will be back.

We had a dinner with colleagues right after an exhibition. This place is fantastic: all dishes are very very delicious, from the starters to the dessert. I would personally recommend the ribeye steak and the raw platter. The staff will be eager to help choosing your meal.

Excellent customer service. Yes its pricey, but the food is delicious and the employees know how to treat you. We made reservations, in which they were very prompt and right on time. Food was cooked perfectly. We went for our anniversary, we had our own personal menu that said happy anniversary on it, to take home and a they took a picture of us which we were able to take home as well. I would definitely go back. Just be prepared to spend some money

Food was amazing! I usually go to the Santa Ana/Costa Mesa location but the quality has not been the greatest. As an alternative, I came here and the steak was made with perfection. It was very flavorful and of course, Kylie, was great. He was very attentive and earned a good tip because of it. Keep it up!

To celebrate my son's little achievement, his dad treated him to a fancy steak at this place. Would you believe it's our first time in a fancy fine dining (i think and i forgot) and we wished to back out, but my young man said, 'Why do we need to?' lol. Yeah, well, we will pay no matter what! The receptionists seemed nice. Our server too, usually they get annoyed when they see you with just a kid and know we will just order a few dishes, so I was expecting a negative vibe, but we didn't. He took care of us with care, and I hope he didn't get annoyed. Even the manager went up to say hi and ask how we are doing. The place was delightfully dimmed, and since my card is black, I forgot to take it. After days , I called and spoke to the staff, they were nice in handling the situation. We loved the food and we hope to try again when we get to the area. Appreciate you guys!

A date night here with a white cloth table is not disappointing! The food and service are great! A must-try is bacon-wrapped scallops! Do not skip their bread! It is delicious! There is plenty of parking in the area. I would recommend making a reservation in advance for the weekend!

Morton’s the steakhouse is a great place to dine in for different occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, meetings. Their food is top notch. I really like their steaks and mashed potato side. The desserts are delicious 😋 too. The environment is nice and staff are kind and friendly.

We have been going to Morton's every New Year's eve for the past 9 years and have always had good servers, unfortunately this year we got a new server (Daniel) and he seemed in a rush. He didn't tell us the New Year eve specials. We knew what food we were going to order as we checked out the menu online. He took our order and when he brought our steak, it was cut in half which he didn't ask us about splitting the steak, he decided to do it on his own. We were not happy about that as the steak loses the juices. We had our dinner and drinks and wanted to have coffee, the server disappeared and finally showed up with our bill. We told him we wanted a cappuccino and he now had to add it to another bill. Shaun is the manager at this location in Santa Ana and he came by a few times to check on us. I didn't want to make a big deal about the server so I never said anything to Shaun. Hopefully Morton's will see this servers work ethics and correct it.

The food was excellent, truly outstanding. Our server was extremely kind and attentive, though quite busy, so we waited a bit for water refills until we requested them. It was a packed Saturday night, so completely understandable that he was doing his best to keep up. We were seated directly in front of a set of swinging doors to a private party. We had asked to be moved but were told no, which was a little frustrating since the constant traffic in and out was distracting and uncomfortably close to our table. That said, the meal itself more than made up for it. We had dined at Ruth’s Chris just a couple of days before, and this filet was far superior. We’ll definitely be visiting Morton’s again!

It was wildly busy, but it was due to an event. The steak was top notch, and the sea food delicious - the meal was expensive but worth it. the elaborate spread filled everyone up, so much so we had lobster the next morning. the service seemed a little stressed until we sat down. well worth it.

Morton's is a solid fine dining restaurant. If you are looking for a good steak then this is a good option in the Anaheim area. There are a lot of competition restaurants within a 2-mile radius but overall this is still a good option. Our meet was cooked perfectly, and are sides were delicious. Please note that the potatoes au gratin are very cheesy. Thick cheesy. So if you like a very bold cheese flavor then definitely pick this. I ordered their French onion soup and in my opinion was not the best out there but it was still delicious. Their Caesar salad is a very generous portion for one person but in my personal opinion not quite big enough for two people to share.

Everything about this dining experience was wonderful! This is the night I decided to splurge with the prime filet mignon and Australian butter poached lobster. It was a perfect combinations! My wife got the potato gratin and Ora king salmon which had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. We topped the night off with hot chocolate cake that runs down the middle as you cut open. The service was fast and professional, the food was perfect, and the bill at the end of the night reminded us what the cost is for a perfect dining experience 🤑

First time dining at Morton's. Our server Alex was extremely nice and went over the menu with us. The food and service was excellent. The French onion soup was really good. They do have a sign at the door for dress code being business casual and no ball caps. They were very kind asking for hats to be removed. This is a great place for special events.

Josh was our server to celebrate my fiancee and I’s 7 year anniversary. The food was amazing, well portioned, and they even set up a small card that said “ happy anniversary” on it. Our server made us laugh, he was someone that I could tell really tries his best at his job. Thank you for the memorable night, it made our anniversary that much more special.

Came out to celebrate our joint birthdays and everything was PHENOMENAL. Our table was decorated with confetti and a little card that said Happy Birthday. The hostess and our server both greeted us with a smile and birthday wishes. Jason, our server, was so incredible. He was attentive and kind and made our first experience here even better than I thought it could be. Made my sister and I go back again to celebrate my birthday! You can tell when someone genuinely loves what they do—service like that really makes a difference. Will definitely be back! We dined at Morton's for Christmas dinner, and overall the experience delivered on quality and execution. Josh, our server, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. While it did take longer than expected for our drinks and appetizers to arrive, the food itself was outstanding. The appetizers appeared to have been sitting for a bit, but the bacon and Rockefeller oysters were still excellent and full of flavor. The filet mignons were cooked to perfection and absolutely lived up to Morton’s reputation. The truffle fries and onion rings were top tier and easily some of the best sides we’ve had. We finished with the chocolate cake, which was rich, well-balanced, and the perfect ending to the meal. The restaurant was very loud and extremely busy, which is understandable given its close proximity to Disney, but it does impact the dining atmosphere. In terms of value, the pricing felt higher than expected even for Morton’s standards, but it is what it is.

Absolutely Amazing – Elite Customer Service! I’ve been to many steakhouses over the years, but this experience was easily a 10+ from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. Will set the tone right away — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Even the parking and valet flow was smooth and stress-free, which says a lot about the level of organization and care. On the way out, Caleb warmly greeted us, handled our ticket, and guided us out of the parking lot with the same professionalism. Inside, there are some true rock stars on this team. The manager, Rob, stood out immediately. From the very beginning, his attention to detail, leadership, and genuine care for guests was nothing short of exceptional. Everything about his customer service was a solid 10+. And the cherry on top — our waiter, Eric. Absolutely flawless service. Attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, professional, and truly passionate about what he does. He made the entire dining experience feel elevated and personal. This place was fantastic! They have $10 valet set up for parking that was worth it. They were attentive to my husband's food allergy and took extra care with our order. The food was great but they over cooked my steak which was a surprise and the only reason i would mark it down from 5 stars. I didn't bother mentioning it because it was still good. I'm also sure they would have made it right had i asked but it was late and the kids had been up a while so time wasn't on our side. Beyond that - everything else was fantastic. We had a reservation but it looked like there were a number of open tables. The French onion soup was amazing! The drinks were strong and lovely! (See photos) The place was lively but upscale. What an incredible meal this turned out to be! I sat at the bar, and was promptly greeted by April. She was super nice, friendly, and professional. I ordered a nice bottle of French wine which was open by the manager Megan. I then ordered a wedge salad which had the right the perfect amount of ingredients, and was so good. For the main course, I opted to go for the filet and two lobster tails which were both perfectly cooked and delicious. The atmosphere was incredible, and it wouldn't have been the same without the outstanding customer service provided by the bar staff. Two thumbs way up to Zac, Brandon and April for their dedication, friendliness, and professionalism. My dining experience wouldn't have been the same without them.

Post Valentine's Day date! We wanted to go a fancy steakhouse. They were fully committed on Vday, so we were lucky to find reservations the day after. We booked reservations through OpenTable. Parking: $8 Valet Parking Dress Code: Business Casual Ambiance/Environment: They have plenty of indoor seating. The inside is dark, but we were seated in the outer area where it was bright. Our reservation was at 16:30, and it wasn't as busy. It became busier around their dinner rush. Service: We checked in with the hostess, and we were seated promptly. Shout out to Alex! She was quick, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu. She explained the whole menu to us since it was our first time dining there. She even recommended us her favorite dishes and popular dishes. We were constantly checked on, and our waters were filled a couple times. Food & drinks: 1) Bread & Butter (complimentary) - The bread was huge and soft! There was a generous amount of creamy butter. 2) Lobster Bisque - We started off with appetizers. The bisque was so creamy and not too thick. It had lots of flavors, but we prefer a bit more lobster bits. 3) Truffle Cream Corn - This paired deliciously with our steaks! The truffle flavor came through! The corn was sooo creamy! 4) Smoked Gouda & Bacon Au Gratin Potatoes - This also paired perfectly with our steaks! There was a generous amount of cheese and sliced potatoes. There wasn't as much bacon, only a few pieces. 5) Tomahawk Ribeye w/ Black Truffle Butter - My bf ordered this medium rare. I got to try some pieces. Although it looked medium well, it still cut easily and soft. The Black Truffle Butter gave it even more flavor. We definitely enjoyed it! 6) "Proprietary" Prime Cajun Ribeye - I ordered this medium rare. It cut easily and not too chewy. The cajun flavor didn't really come through, but I still enjoyed it. 7) Passion Margarita - Alex told us this was currently their popular cocktail. I love margaritas, so of course I had to try it. I really liked it! It was fruity & strong! Pricing: $$$$ We would definitely come back on special occasions.

Went to this location for the very first time. I had the best experience out of all the Morton's locations. Waiter was nice and very helpful with the menu. Checking up on us periodically but not overly checking. Food was great from appetizer to main dish and dessert. I ordered the Prime ribeye steak. It was cooked perfectly. Juicy that I didn't need to use any sauces. My friend order the rack of lamb. It was delicious. No lamb smell. Everything was good. From food and how friendly and helpful the staff was.

Nice casual meal at the bar watched a football game. They have a less expensive "bar bites" menu that doesn't break the bank. You also have access to the whole regular menu at the bar too. It was a really good meal and great service. But at this price point I have had better steaks from some other places. Definitely nothing to disqualify itself, but would be my second choice not first.

One should valet when you’re here, it’s cheaper than the parking close by. The food was really good, I had the sea bass but didn’t go with the bok choy. The lamb chops were really good and tender, the lobster was overcooked. The bread pudding was okay.

Went for dinner on a Monday night, it was oddly crowded, but the service did not suffer. Everything was great. Fyi you don't have to valet your car, you can park in the parking lot to the Sheraton that is right behind the restaurant and they will validate it when you exit. We got the wagyu meatballs to start it was delicious, I had the 8 oz fillet butterflied we shared truffle fries and potatoes au gratin everything was delicious. If I had one critique it would be that the hype to the world famous chocolate lava cake was just hype, I didn't think it was that great to be completely honest I think that the chili's makes a better lava cake. But everything else was great.

This location is currently open for outdoor dine-in and takeout during covid. After months of not dining out, the fam wanted to treat ourselves. Made a reservation online for the outdoor area and took advantage of the Labor Day pre-fixe menu so we could try a variety of items. The food for the most part was good, and our waitress was very sweet. There was about 30 minute wait between each course so prepare for a leisurely meal. The al fresco dining is complimented by the incandescent lights underneath the white canopy. - The Morton’s salad is simple, comprised of lettuce, egg, and a single, strongly salted anchovy. - The bacon steak was like a fancy Canadian bacon, but was juicily fatty and sweet. - The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was heftier then I thought and came with arugula and a good amount of prosciutto that melted in your mouth. - The crab cakes were on the smaller side but were buttery and the aioli on the side went well with it. - Parmesan truffle fries are thinly cut and it’s hard to stop at just one. - The petit filet (medium) was a tad too dry in my dad’s opinion, although my sister did enjoy hers (medium rare). If you get it well-done, they do butterfly the steak to ensure that it’s thoroughly cooked. - Sautéed spinach and mushrooms were bland. - Key lime pie is good if you want something tart and not too sweet. - Hot chocolate cake was super sweet; the cake tasted like it came from box mix but the inside filling was good. Parking is at the Sheraton lot next door, and Morton’s will give you 3 hours complimentary parking (otherwise it would be ~$22). Bathrooms are available inside. Masks are required and the waiters do wear masks/ gloves. Overall, I’m glad they’re offering dine-in even during covid so you can enjoy a nice meal out and indulge.

Overall this was a great outing for our family for celebrating our first home purchase. The lighting is a little dark for my taste, and the me being a little bigger size make don't fit in their booths so make sure if you over 200 ask for a normal table. Main course takes time so I won't rush take, but 30 minutes for bread and drinks is extremely slow in my opinion.

I still can not fathom how a high-end steak house has trouble cooking steaks to order. I ordered my steak medium-well as I always do, and they fell short again. My steak litterly had blood juices on the plate, which is the 1st sign it's not the proper temp. I used to LOVE MORTON'S. This is my 3rd visit in 1 year, and they just seem to have trouble meeting the expectations on cooking my food to order. Service was great, and the atmosphere was AMAZING. I recommend the Mac and Cheese and crusted mash potatoes 100%, and the salted carmel cheese cake was perfection, as my mom would say... It's too die for... I hope to continue visiting. Please use a temperature gage for the medium-well steaks to perfection.

Received the email for the for the 2lb Maine lobster, I clicked on it and made reservations. We show up , and of course we are greeted and seated right away. We order our drinks and appetizers, and when it was time to order I ask for the Main Lobster, the waiter, right away said that this particular location was not participating in the lobster feast, I was definitely let down. Not sure why they weren’t participating if it’s promoted. We continued on and ordered our food. For appetizers, we got the shrimp cocktail, and the oysters. Both delicious! For dinner, I got the filet mignon with twin lobster tails, my husband ordered the wagyu filet mignon and 1lb of snow crabs. We ordered two sides, sautéed spinach and mushrooms and we also got the onion rings. Our waiter Jason, was so attentive, kind and friendly. He definitely made our visit worth it. We will be back, even though I was looking forward to the 2lb lobster.

The wedge salad is delicious with fresh quality lettuce. I’ve had enough wedge salad to know this was a higher quality product. Had the lobster bisque and I loved the chunks of fresh lobster that doesn’t sit in the mix so you can taste the lobster meat well. However the bisque itself is a little too rich for my taste bud and needed bread to lighten it a bit. The king crab was savory and sweet and fresh, the leg itself was cut in half so no difficulty whatsoever getting to the meat. Thank you! Waygu beef was cooked just right and flavorful with the garlic butter addition. Unfortunately the crème brûlée fell short of the rest of the meal. The sugar was “burnt” to perfection no bitter charred parts However the custard part was more grainy and not as smooth of texture as I have been accustomed to expect.overall worth at least one visit. Pricey for a family of three at just under $400 no alcohol includes tip.

I went to Morton's the day after I had dinner at Ruths Chris. The ambiance is nice and the food was pretty good (not as good as Ruths). However the service was incredibly slow. The oysters took forever to come out. It probably took the same amount of time for the oysters to come out at Morton's as my tomahawk took to come out at Ruths Chris. The server also left my cup of water empty for over 10 minutes. I had to keep asking them to refill it. They didnt give much attention given to our table. Mastros, Ruths Chris, and Flemming's all have better service, ambiance, and food for a similar price.

Disappointing service today at Morton’s in Anaheim. We had a reservation and still waited 36 minutes just to be seated. What’s the point of having a reservation if you’re waiting that long? To make it worse, when we were finally taken to our table, it wasn’t even ready, so we were sent back to the waiting area for another 10 minutes. Drinks came out quickly, but after that everything fell apart. It took 18 more minutes just for someone to take our order—and it wasn’t even our waiter. Food took 37 minutes to arrive, and once we were done eating, it took another 30 minutes of trying to flag someone down just to get our check. The food was good, which is the only saving grace, but the service was absolutely not up to the standard Morton’s is known for. For a restaurant at this level, tonight’s service was unacceptable.

We went for a birthday celebration. The table looked nice and had birthday glitter on it. That’s about where the specialness stops. Our waiter never checked on us unless we caught his eye. There were multiple times when my tea was empty and it didn’t get refilled until I asked and when my companions beer was empty no one asked him if he wanted a refill and again we had to request one by catching the waiters eye when he went by. The creamed spinach was dull tasting asparagus was good. My filet mignon was tougher than I expected, but his steak was cooked properly. They sang happy birthday to the people at the table next to us, but when they gave my companion his birthday desert, they did not sing happy birthday to him. When you’re paying close to $300 for two people to have dinner, you would expect your drinks to always be full, your waiter to continue to check on you and your Birthday dessert to come with a song. Seriously we got better service the next day at Disneyland. That’s saying something. It was very noisy in there and it was very hard for us to talk to each other. I would not go back. Oh I almost forgot, the Birthday dessert was just coffee flavored jello pudding. Bleh. Also even though the menu says fine steaks and chops they no longer serve the pork chop.

Asked for the manager who showed up after an extended period, and he said he "spoke with her". The lobster bisque was ok. The potato augratin was ok, but some of the potatoes were not cooked. I ordered a wine flight that was supposed to be 3 ounces ($25). However when I got it each glass only had three sips. I've had more wine when I've asked for a tasting sample at other restaurants. I ordered my cajun steak medium well and it was rare. I had asked to have it oscar style and they dumped so much sauce that I could not taste the steak. Spoke with the manager again and he again was unhelpful. At that point we just left the restaurant. Most definitely one of my most disappointing dining experiences.

Decided to have New Year’s Eve dinner here and everything was fine until it was time to go. The waiter forgot to pack our left over steaks and we didn’t notice it until we got home. We called and were told we can pick it up tomorrow. The next day comes and we see if we can just get the steaks comped or refunded because we didn’t want to make the 45 min drive back to pick the steaks up. Mind you we ordered a wagyu ribeye and the and a dry aged ribeye. We didn’t even finish half of the steaks and we were told we’d only be able to get a $25 comp for it because “they don’t refund consumed food.” $25 for a $129 and $69 steak that wasn’t even eaten half way. We were told either we pick it up just accept the comp. That’s ridiculous giving it wasn’t our fault. I wasn’t expecting a full refund but I also wasn’t expecting that low of a comp given the price of the steaks. Just by that experience it’s safe to say we won’t be returning.

The good: the sides were great. The patio was lovely, with a nice fan and warmth off of the hot day just lingering enough to make it nice without being over-hot. The wine was delicious. The bad: everything else. Overpriced for what we received. Seriously do NOT recommend this steakhouse. Read that? Steakhouse. You’d expect at least One of the steaks to be cooked correctly. They weren’t. Details: I ordered a Medium. First one was too rare. Second was overdone. Third was under again and worse than the firsts I finally decided to just take it and eat pieces. Better to have bits and finally go home than tieso letting the chef TRY to get a Medium correctly. It wasn’t Just my steak. My friend ordered med rare. He got blue. BLUE!! That means not in the least warmed. He also saw that half his steak was inedible- too many ligaments etc in part of it so that they couldn’t eat at least half of the steak that we paid nearly $70 for!! NOT REASONSBLE or ACCEPTABLE by ANY means!! Do you agree? There was an actual “well done” at our table, I know- ick. Still, it was charred. Not even close to just well done. Ugh! This is Supposed to be a Steak restaurant!! ALL of the steaks being cooked incorrectly is Unacceptable!! The Ugly: the manager was Great…, if the manager was our server, I’m sure it would have been great! However, I believe the server’s name was Eric- he was awful! Nice introduction but he usually wasn’t anywhere nearby. The other woman server (supposedly “helping him out”) was more attentive and nice, but why did they never refill my water??!? A basic thing in most restaurants, right?! Eric took forever to bring out even the starters, so much so that my usually quiet dad asked if we were going to get our food any time soon. When HE says something- you Know it’s a significant issue because he rarely if ever asks for food like that. Eric also didn’t refill my water. Something simple yet he couldn’t do well. Ugh!! We were on time for our 7pm reservation. We didn’t get to leave till almost 10 PM!! I felt seriously disrespected. The servers at my Morton’s in San Diego are sooo much better but after this experience, I don’t even know if I want to go back There!! 😖 The other ”UGLY” part was that the server Eric didn’t remove one of the 3 charges on the bill. The excellent woman manager said I wouldn’t have to pay for the incorrectly cooked steak but I HAD TO CHECK AND THEY ONLY REMOVED 2 of the 3 on the bill!! That caused MORE TIME to wait for them to fix it and just gave a Bad Taste in the mouth, you know!?!! Ick!! The server could care less about our experience on the patio in Father’s Day & was out only for himself. Just awful experience!!! I don’t wish this horrible service on ANYONE. I wish I hadn’t given him a decent tip because he didn’t deserve it but I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt & didn’t want to ‘hurt’ the other servers if they pool tips. Poor customer service & experience. And, I specifically decided to take him here because I thought he’d have a better experience than another steakhouse. 🤦‍♀️ And now question if I ever want to go to a Morton’s in Any other location after this. Just so iiicccckkk feeling. I hope if you go, you get better service, or choose elsewhere. Fleming a is a short walk from this location…. Up to you.

Have never been disappointed by Morton’s before tonight. Sat at the bar and took twenty minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. Then took another 10 for him to come back and pass me off to another bartender. The bathroom was a mess. Steak was good but they need to step up the service.

The Food is good the wait time to receive your food is too long and the communication between servers is not on point. For what ever reason some servers and the ones cleaning tables need more manners.I personally expected more from a high-end restaurant specially when you are their to celebrate. I didn't appreciate the hand wash when a server spilled water on me not once but twice and no remorse or an apology and if the food is slow to get to tables don't sit, hide or be on the cellphone in your area that we as customers can see you while we wait for refills on our drinks. Customer service is key to keep your customers coming back .
