The wait here on a Sunday at 11:00 was less than 2 minutes. The place is fairly small with probably 20 seats. But I will say the service is incredibly fast. They serve Hu Tieu here if that's your thing. First time visiting this location and having the Hu Tiu Xa Xiu. They slice the pork very thinly, but give a generous amount of meat to noodle ratio. The broth is very clean and light, but packs a very nice flavor from the fried onion, ground pork, fried pork skin and noodles. The price is reasonable.
Hidden gem in Westminster! There is usually a line though. Moves pretty fast but expect to wait at least 10-15m on the weekend at least. I ordered #2 Hủ tiếu Mi. Would highly recommend! I cleaned out the entire bowl... I ordered them dry and had soup on the side. Added a bit of fish sauce for flavor, and ate with pickled garlic (which is VERY spicy btw). Their specialty is really the dry noodles so that's pretty much all they have on their menu! I would definitely recommend, and can't wait to come back !!
Great mom and pop shop serving hu tieu. Stop by for a quick bite. The portions are just right and the broth is delicious. I love how each bowl has so many different ingredients in it. Star fruit and a bit of fish sauce would really kick it up a notch though.
This restaurant barely fits 30 people, it's really small inside. So after you finish your food, you gotta go because people are lining up outside, plus the parking is so small. The food is really good. Consider this restaurant is like the eatery. Not a real restaurant, so you don't expect too much when you come here. Hu tiu , rice noodles( all kinds) are the best around Little Saigon, so far.
I had a great all around Experience visiting this restaurant! The customer service was great just like the food! Let me correct myself. It was excellent 🤙
So..embarrassingly enough I used to watch strictly dumbling on youtube and saw this place, and thought why not try it. I did and for real it is so good I'm someone who don't mind both dry or soup versions. This place have the hands that make both tastes so delicious coming from someone who ate phuong, dry kitchen, ca can, grandpa's dry kitchen, and etc.
Great place for Hu Tieu in Little Saigon. one of the best spot for Hu Tieu. service is good. restaurant is a relative small place with small parking lot. recommend #1 they come with a soup bowl on the side. their veggies are fresh. nice thin slices of brisket with fresh shrimp . i like their pickled garlic. Price is at the average of the area. I also recommend the corn milk. would definitely go again
Every is good, but the dinning room is somewhat unspacious.
A small place with 8 tables, serving one of the tastiest hu tiu Nam Vang in So Cal,. House special $12 but serving is smaller than average. This shop should add a large-sized order for $15 with more noodle, protein and soup. Service was quick and friendly.
Dude this place is a staple. Foods always fire. Xi-what(bone) is bomb here haha. The staff is always on point. They know our order, makes me feel special haha
Great place for hu tieu/mi kho with a cup of vietnamese iced coffee. Friendly and very hospitable staff. One of if not the best place for mi kho. I drove all the way from L.A for this.
Place was packed during Saturday lunch and the food speaks for itself. Recommend by a friend because they know I love dry hu thieu. The chilli is actually spicy. I packed my bowl with the pickled garlic and burping up garlic breath the rest of the day but worth it!
Great food. Fun staff. Small space. Small parking lot. Portions are on the smaller size, wish they offered bigger portions. I get the dry chewy noodle. I wouldn’t recommend big parties on holiday/weekend.
Excellent hu tiu in OC area. The price is very affordable $10 for each bowl. The flavor is rich and yummy, service is very nice. The restaurant is small but cozy and clean. Must try their Corn Milk (very good). Definitely will come back 👍🏻
(Via Eat the World Los Angeles) - If you have ever walked around the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, there is a good chance that you sat down at a stall offering hủ tiếu nam vang. Throngs of people sit on colorful plastic stools under sidewalk trees to enjoy this ultra-economical bowl of noodles on a daily basis. The stalls and carts they order from display the ingredients of the bowl for all to see, while steaming cauldrons of broth are ready to be ladled. Like those vendors, there is only one dish featured here at Hủ Tiếu Đệ Nhất, with various options for each bowl.
It was new and closest to my hotel. It had good reviews, so I went craving soup. I had their special because it's like a sampler with potato noods. Basic good broth and a number of condiments to make it to your liking. Abundant pickled garlic and jalapeño topped it off. Everyone helpful. When I paid, the lady recommended dry noodles because they have special house sauce. I posted meal and my cousin liked the looks, so we went back. Back to the special, but dry 1/2 egg 1/2 potato noods. We get small soup anyway. Lady was right, I liked the dry version better.
They serve authentic Hủ tiếu Nam Vang here! This place is so good we had to drag a family member to try it before leaving California. One of the best hủ tiếu we have had so far! Their portion is good, and the bowl of hủ tiếu comes with all correct ingredients it’s supposed to have. I highly recommend their Hủ tiếu Nam Vang dry style (it comes with soup on the side). Things to note: it is a small place, but they have spacious parking. Also, they only open until 4pm and prefer cash payment. I definitely recommend this place if you want to try authentic flavor.
Today I went here for breakfast for their Vietnamese soup glass noodles with proteins, garnishes, vegetables, with cafe sua da Vietnamese iced coffee, & a bottle of water to drink . It was my 1st time there too , friendly, nice atmosphere, food definitely 100 percent delicious too.
Authentic hidden gem alert here! This spot taste like my childhood home. The flavors reminds me of the hu tieu spots my grandma use to take me to. You know a hu tieu spot is legit if there have all the different sauces and pickles garlic and chili. They don’t really talk to you here and the aesthetic of the space is lacking bc they are all about the quality of the food, which I love. I will definitely be back!
The broth has no msg. You will not feel heavy after. Legit stuff
Small place, small menu, delicious Vietnamese noodle dishes in Garden Grove Korean business district. Choose noodle in soup or dry noodle with soup on the side for only $12. Food comes out quickly too.
Great spot for lunch with family. Our first time here. Their soup is top notch, noodle is taste, glass noodle, egg noodles, vermicelli are all loved by hubby and kids. Be sure to get extra pork bone, love the pickled garlic and jalapeño. The place is very clean, Service was very attentive, looks like an owner was there and her children. Definitely hard working mom earned all my respect. Small mom and pop restaurants feeding the community. We will definitely come back again to try other items on the menu. Highly recommend to give this place a try, worth the wait.
We were a party of 15 and gladly give this newly open business our business. The noodles are great and the soup taste perfect. Hu Tieu is De Nhat (#1 👍🏻). Great customer service and friendly staff. Will be back when we’re in town again.

Good food. Reasonable prices. No wonder it's packed. It was so crowded that we sat outside on the sidewalk, like in Vietnam.

If you love Hu Tieu like I do, this is a place for you to try out. Their menu was very simple and easy to order. The hu tieu dry style with the broth on the side was so good. Bring me right back to my childhood time in Việt Nam. I recommend to go early to minimize waiting in line and finding parking.
My husband and I have come here twice, the noodles and broth are so delicious 🍜, price is excellent 💰, quick service and friendly 😊. Easy parking 🅿️. #Noodles #Broth #Price #Service #Parking
This place is often a go to on the weekends for me. You can never go wrong with egg noodles. It’s the perfect amount. All the flavor profiles are there. It can get busy and there is sometimes a wait but not too bad. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is also something nostalgic about a family owned restaurant that is comforting.

My first experience with Hu Tieu. I went with rice and egg noodle dry with soup on the side. I think i preferred the rice noodle because it soaked up more flavor. The dish contains many different ingredients but they all seem to work together in harmony. I think dry is the way to go because soup kinda made it a little bland. Price is excellent and there will most likely be a wait.
A friend recommended this place, so I decided to give it a try. The Hu Tieu Nam Vang (dry version) was good, with a nice balance of flavors, but it wasn’t anything extraordinary. One thing that stood out, though, was the strong smell of the pork. It was a bit overpowering for my taste and made the dish less enjoyable. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick, which made the experience more pleasant overall.
A hidden gem in Orange County! They serve some of the best dry Hu Tieu I’ve ever had. The flavor of the noodles is reminiscent of the authentic taste back home in Vietnam.
Very good noodles shop. Place is a little small inside, but there are a few tables outside that add additional capacity. Service is quick and foods arrive fast. Taste-wise, I thought it was fairly average. Not bad, but it is not ahead of the competition.
It's really hard to find good Hu Tieu in Little Saigon so I'm thrilled to find it here. I live close by and ate at this location several times back when two other owners operated here. The first owner served pretty good Hu Tieu but the broth was lacking that authentic Tieu Chau flavor which comes from grilled squids. The first owner moved to a different location so a second owner took over, and the second owner served very average Hu Tieu. This new and third owner does VERY good Hu Tieu and their broth is exceptional. The aroma is true Hu Tieu broth from Cholon Vietnam where the Tieu Chau people lives. I did noticed this place is stingy with the compliment veggies so you may need to ask for extra.
It's a very small and busy eatery. Too bad that they close early (4 pm). I want to eat as dinner time too. The broth is delicious. Their price is very affordable. It's mostly $12 without side dishes.
Popular Vietnamese/Chinese noodle restaurant. We picked the chewy glass noodles/yellow noodles Special but you also have the choice of Beef Meatballs, Seafood and Char Siu. The noodles were great and chewy. The broth was not flavorful as expected but they had garlic n pickled peppers so that was alright. They also didn't provide a lot of greens if you care about that in your noodles. Overall a good local spot for noodles if you don't want to get to Westminster. It can get crowded during weekends n it's not opened Tues.

The food was good, though slightly too sweet for my preference. Prices were reasonable, and service was quick. Theres also a credit card charge if you’re not paying with cash.
No frills typical Vietnamese restaurant with simple decor and mom and pops service model. Overall good value. Not the best I had, average, but good value with cash payment and 3% charge with card. #15 seafood for me with mix noodle. Broth was a bit overpowered by the egg noodle. Pork fat was not as crispy but again still enjoy the bowl. My favorite in the US so far is Phanh Ky Hu Tieu Mi My Tho in Houston on Bellaire Blvd.

The previous time they forgot fish cake and quail egg in both of our bowls, we called right after got home to let them know and they said would "make up" for us next time (was a male caller). This time we mentioned the last incident (with a male employee) but no apology was made?! We asked for 3 extra PIECES of pickled jalapeno to fully up the portion cup because my aunt loves their jalapeno, but got charged an extra $2 without noticing?!
