Had our reception here after my son’s baptism and it was great! Food was delicious, service was helpful and friendly, and ambiance was chill. Lots of families were here and it filled up super fast! What was unique about this particular buffet was their cotton candy area! My daughter loved the cotton candy. Also, sushi was fresh, salad bar was complete, the noodle area was nice even though I didn’t try anything out of that area, it was nice having it part of the buffet. Would definitely come back here again! Price for the weekend lunch was $18.99 as of 9/2024. Come check them out!
Funny, but the thing that I enjoy is the music they play. The food is good, a lot of variety. Lots of desserts 🍨 🥧 🍦 and good service. Some days during pick hours it gets pretty busy.
The cashier named Elisa was very kind and pretty. The food is good and always available. My server Johnathon made sure all my empty plates are out of my way when I’m eating 😋 love this place !
Stellar service; modern & up to date with a tasty menu; clean, inviting and all at a very good price point.
The staff is always helpful and nice! They always maintain a clean facility and the times I have been here the food quality has always been consistent. In particular their desert area deserves a shout out for variety and quality. They also even have cotton candy, which is fun for kids and unusual for a Buffett.
The buffet was fantastic! There was a great variety of food, with something to please everyone. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had a wonderful experience. The best part? The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!
I mean, it's exactly what you expect a cheaper end buffet to be. Definitely go for the Mongolian BBQ and fresh seafood!
I love this place. They have. A variety of food items in a very low price. I prefer all to try this place especially the sushis and salads
Edgar was our server who took great care of us.his smile and good attitude made the dinner more enjoyable. He refreshed my coffee several times, always with a smile. The sushi was very fresh. The carrot cake was one of the best I've had in a long time. For the price, you can't beat this place. We will be back with 20 more people for my birthday in a month. Thank you .
This is by far the best asian buffet in OC, You can't beat the price anywhere. Besides the amazing quality of the food the staff and management really help make your dining experience an epic one. This is my family's go to when we can't decide if we want sushi, shrimp or mongolian it's all here!
It’s was delicious food, great service and good prices.
Ahhh, I wish this buffet was closer to me. I went last year, but I will be going again in a few days. To be honest I'm not a big fan of buffets, they gross me out but my husband likes buffets so I always try to satisfy his cravings. Last year going home from a marriage retreat in Newport beach we stopped by this buffet, and oh my goodness let me tell you, everything was delicious! Everything looked well done, perfect temperature not sloppy. Exceptional variety of options. I have never liked buffets until this one. Im excited to be going again. The only down side I can critic kindly was the space its a little tight on the seating, not too much room to move around due to the tables being so close together which makes it very uncomfortable not having any privacy, that is only thing I recommend they adjust. Other than that I hope this buffet never loses its values hospitality and special touch.
It's always a pleasant experience here. Love that the food is mainly cooked in your view. Never having to wait in a long line just to get seafood like other places. The waiters are top tier, quick and effecient. Food is better than most buffet in orange county.
$15 before 3 and $3 for the drink. A lot of options and really good flavor. We'll be back for sure.
This is one of the best Asian buffets I have visited. Lots of options on the salad bar side, Mongolian barbecue and great prices.
The portion plate sizes are great ! Not to big nor small except for desserts they’re about the size of a palm. They have a station for sushi. Meats, fish, veggies, noodles where they cook them in front of you station the carbs are all in the back. I believe that’s great because it isn’t the first thing you see making it great for people who are trying to cut carbs. Dessert stations are in the back they got ice cream, cakes, pies, cookies, cotton candy, marshmallows. Lastly fruit station. The place is divided into three sections that are big with plenty of tables. Staff is friendly. You can see the kitchens like this makes me feel as if I’m in the show “hells kitchen” I hope you find this review helpful. Come and take a look at the food they let you peek before you buy
My family favorite restaurant and now my co workers we celebrate 2 birthdays here already 🫶🏾 love it so clean and the food is fresh especially the desserts area every sweets we crave for is all here.
This location used to be Hometown Buffet before Covid drove it out of business. Now that Paradise buffet took over, I am pleasantly surprised by the QUALITY. This is typical asian fusion/chinese buffet but with much better quality and CLEANER than other similar buffet restaurants around the area. I HIGHLY recommend this buffet and its currently my favorite so far. Hope it stays for the long run without losing its quality.
Great selections of food. Something for everyone and everything I tried was good. Start off with a plate of almost every maki roll and a couple pieces of sushi.
My friends and I we really enjoyed this buffet, friendly staff and great service. Today was great going there again. We had a great time. The only thing today the orange chicken was very spicy usually is sweet and tasty. So we couldn't eat it. We were sad about it. But other food was great.
Wow this is the real deal. If you're a fan of Chinese Buffets don't miss this one. I visit a Chinese buffet whatever city I'm in. This one is one of my favorites. It was a Saturday night and the line out the door was constant yet we moved through the line fairly quickly and how they keep a constant line like that that moves fairly quickly and still an open table or two I don't know but they do it. The sushi selection was very vast much more vast than most Chinese buffets and the quality was good. I was full just from the sushi before even eating any warm food. The quality of the warm food was better than average. The desserts were better than average.
Wow! We had a fantastic experience here from start to finish. The service was exceptional; our table was consistently checked on by a smiling, attentive team who were always busy clearing dishes and making sure we were happy, never distracted by their phones. The restaurant felt clean and well-lit, with a great atmosphere. The food was a highlight—far from typical buffet fare, it tasted genuinely fresh and homemade. A special shout-out to Carlos, the sushi chef, who truly went the extra mile to create a special dish just for me. We simply can't say enough positive things about this place."
Great value! Under $50 for 2 seniors. Fresh fruit, salads, sushi, a mandalorian 👀 bbq grill w/beef, chkn & pork plus shrimp and imitation crab. hot entrees like sausage w/green peppers, teriyaki chicken, salmon, and lots of comfort foods. Everything we tried tasted great. We'll come back...and bring a jacket, it was a little cool inside.
Gotta say, I enjoyed this enough to do a you tube review on the place for our Aussie Travel Blog page #BigCandTheMumma. The best for me, the pork spare ribs were just tender, juicy, flavoursome and not spicy. So many nice dishes I ran out of room. Great value for money, staff were great. I rate it. Our meal was $22 each which included a seniors over 60s discount. Check out our full video on YouTube. Big C and The Mumma.
Very impressive for the first time going to this establishment. Food was fresh, soups were hot and the sushi was definitely made fresh. We arrived around 3:30 and it seems that they transition into dinner menu items at 4pm. All kinds of goodies came out!! The have a Mongolian style grill that you choose items and they grill it up. We would definitely be back.
Great buffet for the price! The staff is very nice and welcoming, and the food is constantly being refilled, so nothing runs out. The selection is decent, and the desserts are a nice treat to finish off the meal. The salad is fresh and tasty, which is a plus. It’s not a perfect buffet, but for the price, it’s definitely worth it. A good spot for a casual and affordable meal!
I am a google critict that doesnt usually leave all fives. However this reataurant deserves my highest rating. First of the manager on duty very polite and profeaional, ask hin to find me a seat and he did it without hesitation. All servers, coocks and cleaning staff very friendly and with good attitude. The food, very delicious, clean, and large variety for all tastes. Deffinately onenof my best reviews of all times. Highlly recommended.
Great value good food in good location. The selection is great . My favorite is crawfish, and clams and shrimps. Such good flavoring. There is tepanayyki grill(?) You can special order. Our waiter Andy was courteous and helpful. Good service . My family would come back here for gatherings.
Sharing my experience the 1st time I was here “Paradise Buffet” in the weekend with my friends and family. The place was good , clean, nice The staff were friendly, helpful, clean up every single dish you finished. The last is the food . i was so happy when i found the new spot for me and my family. I went to 4-5 buffets around OC couple years ago and now . Even I tried the new place from my friends recommended it but I didn’t like it because everything look same “Mama huhu” . So, back to the Paradise Buffet I drove by I saw many people got in line crazy I go on google check it out I read all the reviews and see all pictures of food I did tell my friends and family spent time at this buffet in the weekend. I love the cooking section. There is Someone who cook for you the food you want . Other sections is displayed all of sushi dishes and fruits, Salad, vegetables , Jelly, Corn chip , shrimp Achieves, ect… I like how they displayed all fresh sushi dishes and fruits above the iced keep the food fresh . The last section they displayed is dessert. There are many kind of different cake I like such as cheese cake, chocolate mousse, coconut macaron , carrot cake, … And specifically, I like the coffee is not weak I like strong coffee without sugar so I can taste with my chocolate mousse 😁 There is section displayed crab 🦀 , fried chicken, orange chicken is be best one , roast beef, grilled teriyaki chicken , pizza,…. Let’s try it after reading my review. If you don’t like just give them a review for others like us know . We’re always looking for good food .
September 29. My friend and I have gone here like 4 times and we always enjoy watching the HiBachi dude cooking the meats and vegetables while browsing out buffet meals. Please bring cash to tip servers <3 I myself have rarely carried cash and trying to tip digitally was a little complicated. I grew up going to HomeTownBuffet but because of covid they basically disappeared and I was greatly craving their meatloaf. This buffet fortunately had the meatloaf and it tasted it like nostalgia. I love that the ice cream machines are still pretty common in places like these. Also, their Americanized sushi is good for what buffets can offer. Im used to eating sushi so the cream cheese ones were a delightful surprise. Sometimes the cashier lady seemed tired. I genuinely love all our servers we've had when coming in. They do take tap to pay/ apple pay, cash and card payments. I wish the buffets had milk or chocolate milk like hometown buffets did though but there's probably a good reason as to why not. I recommend going to this buffet especially if you're a local. I've gone only in the afternoon and dinner hours and from experience, it gets packed around 6/7pm. I have yet to attend for the breakfast hours.
Friendly staff and clean venue. Food was good but not great. There's plenty of dish selections to choose from but some dishes were good and some were bland and/or dry. Mongolian bbq grill was the highlight but I was surprised that there were no lines. Plenty of dessert. I was hoping to try the roast beef, but they had pot roast instead. Price is very reasonable. Plenty of parking.
The food was great. The staff were amazing. Everything was nice and clean. The music though, smh. The music was too loud, I couldn't hear my kids talking to me. I guess people couldn't hear my kids shouting excuse me to some people and got bumped into. I got bumped into as well.. i would think its a safety concern but what do i know, right? I told someone about it but nothing was done about it. Also, the at the grill there was a little bit of food from someone else on my plate, one being a couple of shrimps and I'm allergic to shrimp. Good thing I checked.
No crab leg's I went there on a Friday at 4pm for crab I was told they don't have any, I believe in letting the patrons know what is no longer available on the menu. Please take it off the menu if you no longer serve it
The first time we went the food was rather bland and tasteless. And if it said spicy it was mild. We went back to give it another try because we always see lots of people there. The food was much better, enough so that we have been back several times.
This place is always busy on Sunday no matter the time. If you like sea food you will love this place. They have a good amount of fruits and desserts as well.
Best buffet with reasonable price..specially senior with 10% discount bring it down below $20 for buffet..
Went there with my family of 4, atmosphere was good but too crowdy, food is good and always fresh with different flavors (sushi, meat, chinese, salad…) desserts were great, I really recommend this buffet if you wanna eat something good and not that expensive
I recently visited a buffet restaurant that left quite an impression on me. The unique pay-first system made the dining experience efficient, and finding a table on my own added to the casual atmosphere. The highlight for me was the delightful cotton candy, a fun and sweet treat that brought out my inner child. The dessert selection was impressive, offering a variety of mouthwatering options that satisfied my sweet cravings. While the sushi was simple, it was fresh and enjoyable. One standout feature was the Mongolian grill, where I could customize my own dishes and savor the flavors of perfectly cooked ingredients. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience even more pleasant. Overall, this buffet restaurant is a great choice for those seeking a relaxed and enjoyable meal with a mix of tasty treats and a fun ambiance.
Great buffet. They're not very friendly but they have good prices
Paradise has a wide variety of entrees, Salad, appetizers, good sized shrimps. From the number of customers coming in to eat, they must do something right!
Food is plentiful, there's plenty of variety, and the food is tasty. Service is nonexistent. If you want a refill on your water, or soda, you better Chase it yourself. Atmosphere is a bit noisy like a Marine corps chow hall. The thing that was a bit rough for me, was the temperature of the room. I would have to say it was somewhere between 75 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit.
🇺🇸Garden Grove, CAㅣParadise Buffet Location: This location was used to be Old hometown buffet and now replaced by Paradise buffet a couple months ago so you may consider it as a new buffet restaurant. Parking: Parking lot was very busy on a Sunday evening and luckily we got a spot right after turning in the plaza. We walked to the restaurant entrance around 5:40pm, and there was already a long queue circling from inside to outside. We have waited for an hour, paid at counter and then was taken to our seats. Dinning area: There are 2 partitions in the seating area to divide the spaces into three and overall it's spacious. Food area: Salad bar, fruits, seafood, sushi, vegetables, beef, pork , Teppanyaki area (pick your food and someone will cook it for you), desserts (including cotton candy ), drinks (additional charge). Overall it had plenty of choice, ingredients were fresh but somehow most of them were bland. Price: You can't beat the price. Monday to Friday: Lunch (11am to 3:59pm): Adult $14.99 Saturday: $18.99 Sunday and dinner: $19.99 Service: The staff were very attentive to clean everyone's table and floor and I hope everyone tips them generously. I would say it is a good deal for a weekday lunch but I don't think it's a worth wait for a weekend dinner. 📍Paradise Buffet (closes at 9pm) 9561 Chapman Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92841
The food was great; lots of variety & very little of it was low in quality. They could stand to replace the serving spoons a bit more often, but other than that, it was perfect. The music was meh. The servers were on top of everything & very friendly. Worth every cent of the $25 per person.
I am a Senior citizen so I go between 2 - 4 pm Mon thru Thu because it only costs 10.99 to eat at this buffet . The food is usually fresh and tasty which includes a good selection of Sushi and some Seafood 😁 They also have good pastries and ice cream for dessert 🍪 The regular price seems a little high compared to other buffets in the area . If you are really hungry this a good choice compared to McDonald's or fast food restaurants.
read many bad reviews about the staff but having lunch here in July 2025 and everybody look so friendly and polite. From the front door to the waitress, and the cooking lady who are making rolls at sushi station. They always say hi and smile. ✅ good price and a lot of choices. You pay for what you get, do not expect too much for this price and you will be happy. I love fried banana, fried shrimp and sushi, sausage. ✅ comfortable space ✅ big parking in this area ❗️dirty baby chair. It's very dirty and I need to clean up by myself. You should wash the baby chair because it looks bad and need to wash with liquid carefully, cannot use tissue to clean. ❗️ sorry but I think you are doing with Mexican taste, do I cannot try any food with strong sauce 😅 ❗️change a little bit about dessert, too many cakes 😅 coconut cookie is good but others look more sweet. Icecream is good too. Maybe you can add more basic cookie, flan, jelly. It's easy to eat than cakes! Thank you!
Food was ok, the employee wasn't really mixing the Mongolian BBQ, he just flipped the bowl and let it sit on the hot surface so the sauce wasn't spread evenly. The hot and sour soup was disappointing with too much sugar added and not so much sour. Sushi rolls were freshly made, but not much of the raw fish varieties and spicy tuna was not available at the time we went. Salad options not much variety. Black pepper shrimp and fried chicken were really good. Nice options on desserts and there's cotton candy made to order.
Price is good for not too bad. Poor sanitation. Last time I went with my daughter she spotted three dirty plates, she refused to eatd so we have to leave shortly.
There is no crab on dinner or weekend anymore/ when I tried to call restaurant to check out if they have crab for any lunch or dinner but never get answered, so I need to go there to check myself but they have early bird senior deal for lunch is pretty good deals only 10.99 if comes before 4pm
It is a typical Chinese buffet. It has a good variety of food but you will find yourself eating the same things since 50% of the selection does not look too appealing Service was fantastic and our lady was very friendly and attentive! The layout is VERY TIGHT you will have a hard time walking down the narrow walkways with food if there is another person coming down as well
The price is very cheap, the food is not tasty, there are many kinds of food. The price is so cheap that I can't even talk about the quality of the food. It looks like a lot of thought was put into the food composition, type, and style. I Everyone's taste is different... Personally, I have no intention of visiting again.
It is a decent place for the AYCE buffet. When you get in, there is a line to the cashier to pay first and seating yourself. Adequate flavored food and mediocre desserts. Their sushi is simple and not that exciting, for they are basic recipes. They have an ok dessert area and a simple salad bar with the normal fruits you find at any restaurant. One thing I like is, a cotton machine maker for those sweet tooth! Overall, for the price, it is inexpensive. The con is the difficulty finding parking spots, too crowded with all the other stores and a gym across for competition. Please tip the servers. They work their buts off to clean up after your mess!
Compared to the other buffets, the price seems a bit high with the kind of food that were there.
There isn’t any table service. You refill your own drinks and the plates stack up until you leave. Bring your own spices if you want flavor in your food. They do keep the buffet clean, which is a plus.
Good service. Good location. Pot roast beef was good. But most of the food are very salty. Sesame balls are burn and hard, they suppose to be crunchy on the outside and soft inside. Asian food that taste like Mexican food. 😒Tortilla chips are burn. Fried chicken had only bone, no meat ( looks like they chopped off chicken breast to use for other menu and use the bone and wings for Fried chicken). Music in the restroom was so loud like there was a party in there.
$15 lunch $19 dinner AYCE Asian / American buffet aimed for Mexican taste. The place is nice, clean, spacious, about 60% occupied on Friday at 3PM, so it's popular. You pay on entrance, given plastic cups for free sodas, and choose your own tables. This set up reduces the number of workers required to operate the front desk efficiently, only 1 cashier and 3 cleaning crew were working to keep everything tidy. By employing fewer workers they may survive, even make a good business in the cut throat Asian buffet market They play Rock and Mexican Banda music fairly loud. I wish they lower the volume a bit The food is surprisingly good with very good varieties, cooked to Mexican taste. Fill your own sodas , included. Very good salad bar with large varieties. Sushi station is small, tastes ok, but with no sashimi people would just take proteins off sushis for themselves. The beef pot roast is tender and the very tasty. This dish alone with fried chicken pay for the meal IMHO. Fried chicken is fairly salty. Could use less salt and more clove or Cummins. Couple indistinct fried / braised pork to crisp, tasteless. There were Cajun shrimp and large crawfish, delish, people were eating large plates of them. Soups were good, clam chowder uses cream of corn, not dairy cream, smells a little like corn tortillas. Pepper shrimp was good. Unfortunately all stir fried veggies are overcooked to a mush for Mexican taste. The Mongolian station let you choose frozen proteins and veggies with your own sauce. I told the Mexican cook to do rare red beef, emphasized to him again, but he still way overcooked meat and veggies to tough and tasteless, again per Mexican taste . Very good desert station with cheesecake, cream pie, various cakes, soft ice cream, but very few fruits. Food is fresh and tasty, not over spiced or loaded with sugar or MSG. We were happy with the quality of our meal for this low price, very good value, even free meals on birthdays. This place seems successful with good attendance and low operating cost. Left a good tip at table for the cheerful cleaning woman. My partner now says food at Kumo is seasoned and cooked more like authentic chinese. It's her favorite Asian buffet in OC, has not changed.
I went there based on a recommendation, but my dinner experience was a complete disaster. The seating arrangement was poor, as they called me over from a distance with a finger and seated me at a dirty table. The waitress seemed to forget I was there, and I had to go looking for her to ask her to clean the table. Only then did she clean it. The food was disappointing—pieces of sushi with rice grains all over, and the Mongolian beef I ordered didn’t arrive until long after it should have, just before they were about to close. With that level of filth and poor quality, they shouldn’t have accepted customers an hour before closing. It’s not about the price; service should come first. Even if they paid me to return, I would never want to go back there. It’s unfortunate that this is the first time I’ve had to write a review like this.
The service was terrible, they were racist because we were latinos. We were discrinmated against and they never cleaned the table. The manager and the personal told us because we were latino, we wouldn’t leave a tip. They just were assuming and discriminatory.
All meat offered is extremely dry and salty, their rice is also pretty dry and hard as well. I think they doing this on purpose to make you buy drink. I have severe stomach-ache after eating the raw fish. Overall not recommended, the cost is 25$ a person, time limit is 2 hours but trust me you'll have to spend 30 mins in the restroom.
IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! It was just about $20 for each person and $2.98 for the drinks. 2 people $48 and change total price. I went to dine-in in the evening. The food was old. Some of the meat items were hard from sitting under the heat for a while. I do not recommend this place. The taste was awful, no flavor! This is the only place I ate all day since I have been busy running errands all morning and afternoon. I woke up with diarrhea. As for the customer service, it was excellent. My waitress filled up my drinks with a smile and never let my table be left with a dirty dish. Unfortunately I will not come back to this place. There were no pictures because my phone died. This is definitely not a 4-star restaurant. Maybe during the rush hour, lunch, you might have fresh food, but I'm not sure if it will still lack flavor. I'm very disappointed, for the price I expected a better experience of better food!
Fire Betty. Awful service, rude and terrible attitude. Came here for the first time last week. Family of 4. We paid for two soda cups and one water cup, the soda cup was dirty as all hell so we put sprite in the “water” cup for my daughter and Betty embarrassed us in front of everyone, gave us so much attitude and forced us to dump the soda and only get water in the water cup. Reprimanded us in front of the entire floor over this. They rather you dump the soda than allow you to just drink it from the different cup, apparently it’s worth losing tips and patronage over something that costs a few bucks. Their tap water is awful btw, terrible moldy smell to it. And because of Betty treating us so poorly, she clearly felt awkward about serving us and checking in on us after and therefore hardly did so. Hope the lack of decorum & professionalism over a $3 soda charge was worth losing the extra $20+ she could’ve made as tip for simply being a half decent server.
I came with my my family and friends to try this buffet. Immediately, the staff were extremely rude to me and my friends. The food was at least decent, but not good enough to override how terrible the service was. Firstly, the employees are rude. Well, especially one aggressive employee. When i first walked in to pay, she yelled at me to get in line, although i was already in line. After a few minutes, she told me to go to the back of the line because “i was blocking the entrance.” Which is was not. After i went to the back, she yelled at me in a desrepectful way to go to the front. I did, and asked her politely way why she spoke to me that way, and she told me in an even angrier way, “I told you FIVE TIMES. I didnt need to be nice.” i let it go, but she later, she yelled at my friend for taking pepsi, saying he is only allowed to drink water. This is unacceptable, and a buffet must have respectful and friendly employees. This buffet has proven otherwise The employees need to learn respect, and calm their tones down. Regardless, Ian needs to be given a raise. He is very friendly, and kind. Unlike the other employee.
Staff holds up the line on purpose at 3:40pm to make people pay for dinner prices. Shady staff and bad customer service. Came early for their lunch special but forced to pay their dinner price. Would never come back! By the time I was at the cashier it was 4:01 and staff was rude.
I drink soup over there from the white soup was white stone. I explained to the manager I don’t need nothing from you. I’m OK it’s fine. I explain to you. She tried to fight with me. She tried to argue with me the lady and I ask her please can I have a lot of small coffee I buy a drink. I have a drink. She told me oh no because your kids drink with you. I tell her my kids they drink with me, but I stop him. I don’t see my kids to drink with me OK and she say no I’m not going to give you coffee and she tried to fight with me I said to her mom is OK. It’s not worth it. I love is very short. You don’t wanna give me coffee is OK. It’s no problem. I buy coffee from outside and I already I give her the lady tip five dollars and I pay for my drink and you refuse to give me coffee plus the stone broke my little small teeth and you still fight with me and you wanna make a problem. I don’t know why for no reason it’s not worth it. I love is very short I Hope from the owner of the restaurant change the management. They are so bad management over there. Just let you know guys the management over there so bad so bad thank you so much. Have a wonderful day guys
This place not good to eat . They put alot of salt so we stop eating? And. They have hair on my sushi and Fried rice . And I try to call them never answer it when I ask them they just say oh ya crazy
This place is an absolute disgrace. We paid for 4 adults and 2 kids, and I brought my 4-year-old who medically cannot eat solid food yet due to OT/feeding issues. I was simply showing her what sushi looks like when a server named Ian suddenly jumped in and rudely snapped at me that I’d have to pay if she ate it. The way he spoke was beyond unprofessional — downright nasty. The staff here are so damn rude it ruins the entire experience. They treat paying customers with zero respect, zero compassion, and zero basic courtesy. On top of that, the food was pathetic — cold, bland, and not even worth the price — and they never bothered to clear dirty plates from our table. This place has the worst food, worst service, and worst attitude I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. Save your money and your sanity — never ever coming back here.
I went there today spent over 36 dollars the food was terrible some of the food had a spoiled taste and a lot of the food tasted bland no seasoning I ended up leaving I was really upset I really thought they would have better food there never again will I ever eat there then I could barely get a waitress to help me it was a bad experience
I want to start by saying I understand the need for a mandatory gratuity policy on large parties—that’s completely reasonable and is commonplace in foodservice. However, we experienced a significant issue with how this policy is communicated and enforced. Our large party arrived separately and each family paid individually upon entrance. At no point was the gratuity policy mentioned, nor is there any signage at the entrance or payment area indicating this requirement. After everyone had already completed their transactions, staff had to approach us to explain the policy and request additional payment. This created an awkward and uncomfortable situation for everyone involved—both guests and staff. This entire issue could have been easily prevented with clear signage at the entrance and point of sale stating the mandatory gratuity policy for large parties. When customers arrive separately and pay individually, they have no way of knowing they’re part of a “large party” unless it’s clearly communicated upfront. I’m happy to revise this one star review to reflect a better experience once management addresses this by installing clear, visible signage about the gratuity policy. The staff were polite in handling the situation, but the lack of communication infrastructure put everyone in an unnecessarily difficult position. Management needs to do better and stop putting their poor staff in difficult situations
They discriminated against my mother, a 76-year-old woman wanted to surprise me on my birthday because she heard another table singing Happy Birthday, and she went and they asked for my ID, and the cashier told her they couldn't, and made her go twice, and then they were at another table singing very badly, that's not right, all customers are the same and we spend the same😡
