A good little place where I can easily grab some delicious food-to-go. I ordered some cha gio and the Bánh cuốn Phan - had a great portion of ground pork, rice noodle, slices of cha lua , mushroom, shallots, a tofu, also topped with sliced cucumber and cilantro, and bean sprouts. I put extra pepper in the nuoc mam for more flavor.
The food was very good. But service is poor
Probably one of the best banh mi restaurants in the OC area. They serve really good banh mi and they also have a lot of traditional vietnamese dishes like vietnamese rice paper with nuoc mum. This was my first time trying it and I have been back. I really enjoy the natural taste of vietnamese food and overall use of vegetables in their dishes.
I got here early and ready to eat
This place has the best pork egg rolls. You can get 50 for around $35. I bring them to every party. They are always a hit.

Their sweet and spicy chicken banh mi is delicious.
Great place to eat. Love their food and wonderful service
Awesome grilled pork sandwich. Spring roll is great too
Great food especially sandwiches...coffee is strong and strong
Delicious sandwiches on the super cheap! Love this spot!
Spring rolls are so good!! This place sure beets lee’s!!!
Nice place to buy Vietnam's food like sandwiches and drink like bobo juices plus desserts. This restaurant is like a to go food place.
as a vietnamese american person i can tell you that if your looking for vietnamese food THH SANDWICHES has the best.
They open at 5:00 a.m. so this is perfect for me. Good food and reasonable price.
Great Vietnamese sandwiches. One of the few places that adds egg to it. Its awesome with egg!
THH sandwiches have a lot of vietnames food cakes , they are delicious.
Amazing banh mi at a great price. Egg roll and chaud are also killer.
Always great sandwiches and coffee. I love the fresh baguettes
Very fast Vietnamese food. Taste great too.
Awesome fresh food. Amazing French bread, and chicken udon perfect for these cold winter days. The jasime tea had to be microwaved and so did ths broth, but the flavor was very gpod. Fried egg sandy on french fresh baguette for 4 bucks. Pretty filling deal.
Grilled pork + egg ftw. I've had it fresh. Had it a day old. Had it after refrigeration. Had it after a quick toast. Had it high in the mountains. And low by the beach. Had it inside a movie theater Wherever I can reach! The raw sliced jalapenos can get spicy In case you can't take the heat. Add an egg to any banh mi And you'll love what you eat! I don't know what I'm writing. Bottom line. Get the grilled pork banh mi. At $4 for nearly a foot-long, you really can't go wrong.
Best place ever ! The food and pricing is beautiful ! The Asian women are just amazing at making the sandwiches with love ! Thank you for your divine service ! Going back everyday for #1 and #2 sandwich with 2 egg rolls 🥰🥰
I gladly go out of my way to pick up my Vietnamese iced coffee from THH. It pairs deliciously with their baked goods like the green sponge cake, which is to die for if you catch it while it's still cooling down
Good sandwiches and service. I didn't have a chance to look at how they prepare my food , i saw many bad review about this 🤷🏻♀️
Best Vietnamese sandwich I ever tried. Much better than Lee's. And resonably priced. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly surprised by this place. It looks like a normal place from the outside, but loaded with good treasures inside. Great Vietnamese food.
This place rocks! Try the #2 grilled pork, it's the best. Plus their bread is fresh so watch out
Great Sammies and coffees on the run. I wanted some shrimp banh cuon but they ran out of shrimp by 1pm, get there earlier I guess!
I noticed this thh gives u more meat and mayo,in the sandwiches than the one I been too. And the vegetables are more fresh it seems.
The best banh mi in town. Really good coffee and baguettes to go!! Also get spring rolls.
I go to THH almost every weekend for sammiches and coffee. The best place in town! get there early to avoid the crowds.
Loved the sandwiches! Fresh ingredients and baguette was crunchy yet soft inside. Perfect!
Love the bun mi, one of my favorite #6 with eggs and extra pate
I’m so happy that there is a THH location just 8 minutes from my home. They make excellent bánh mì here and the service is always friendly. The menu is huge with options for bánh cuốn, stews, noodles, porridge, other standard to go items like spring rolls and a good size drink menu. I think the stand out is the bánh mì. The bread is flavorful, fresh, and crispy and the đặc biệt filling is perfectly portioned with meat and veggies. As many bánh mì joints go, they do cater more to Vietnamese customers so there may be some language barriers. If you are confused, I would kindly ask for clarification. Everyone I’ve spoken to in Vietnamese has been friendly and polite so I’m surprised by the negative feedback regarding service: perhaps something is lost in translation.
Got some really good tofu spring rolls 🫶🏽
The best, the best, the best! Number 3 chicken sandwich!
Easily my favorite Vietnamese sandwich shop. Combo, grilled pork, shredded chicken are my favorites. They let you do custom things like double meat, mixing meat, adding eggs. Their bread and sauces are great. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
A taste of a variety of vietnamese comfort foods. They also take orders for party trays things like eggrolls, spring rolls, noodles and so much more. My husband loves the crab soup. They are so nice and try hard to accommodate.
My sandwiches was delicious i ordered the grilled pork i wasn't expecting a sweet flavor but everything blended well together I've never had vietnamese food even the cilantro went well in my sandwich to the carrots and a little peppers for spice i was not expecting to like it as much my smoothie with boba was just as good. The employees here were great i tried to act like i knew what i was ordering but i really didn't i was the only not vietnamese person in the place but no one gave me a second look and the sandwich lady helped me locate my boba that was already out at the other counter
THH is the best banh mi joint in OC. Yes, I have tried Lee's, Banh Mi Che Cali, Carrot & Daikon, Pickle, Teo, BMS, and countless others. Yes, I will fight you. It's currently $6.35 for a sandwich.
Yum! Banh mi or Vietnamese sandwiches are very, very good! Bbq pork is sweet but mixed well with the veggies etc. glad I found this place. I was getting tired of the local fast food. Now I have a new place :)
They take party food orders...some even last minute if they are able to. They can not always understand your english but they are very nice and try hard. Their menu items are all number to help with the language differences. Good vietnamese food for a reasonable price. This place is always busy and they are very well stocked.
They have the pork-belly banh mi, it's ok...still love this place!
Place deserves more stars, first time here. Got a chicken sandwich and spring rolls and I gotta say it was so good! I reheated the second half of my sandwich the next day and the bread was still soft and delicious.

Super solid place to get some banh mi and other items such as pate chau and congee. I like that they have an open area where you can see them assembling the banh mi. The banh mi is of good size, and the bread and meat combo all tastes pretty good.
Their meatball banh mi is the best here, it’s soft and the sauce is really tasty. The banh duc is also good too. I think it’s worth the price!

Like home-cooked food. I enjoy the comfort the porridge provides.
Great food, Good prices, ...I just wished the employees speaker more english. They are all vietnamese.
Food is great. They could spend some time cleaning the dining area. It's a mess.
Food is quite good. Prices did increase without change to quality or quantity, versus other similar places.
Great subs and sticky rice with meat, don't expect to get it unless you order it, it goes fast
The bread is on point. The filling was nice but there could be a bit more meat.
Delicious Vietnamese sandwiches. Fast and Friendly service.
Great Vietnamese food. Sandwiches make Lee's a distant and sad memory.
Their grilled pork banh mi is stuffed! The marinade is delicious, the banh mi is nice and flaky on the outside, soft on the inside. You can also add a fried egg for an additional charge. I just wished their fried egg was a little runny, but it's cooked all the way thru
Super delicious grilled pork sandwiches and banh cuon. Bun heiu crab soup is ok. The break is so flaky and buttery. More flaky than others. The grilled pork is FULL of flavor - some sweet and charred flavor.
Good food, quick service. Just wish they took a little bit more time distributing everything in the sandwich more evenly and cutting it all the way through.
I tried chao ca here. They have many options for to-go. Service is pretty nice. Feel clean. Not many tables though.
The coffee is awesome. Banh mi sandwiches are a bargain and the bread is fresh.
Standard deli atmosphere. The bread here (at this location) is amazing. I ordered the dac biet and there was too much meat! Everything was thick cut. It was very overwhelming for me, but I know that is what a lot of people like.
Very neat and tidy looking place. Very pretty decor and the sandwiches are delicious and price is great as well. Only disappointment is the tellers need to have listening ears. When asked for hot coffee not to give a cold coffee.
Good location, for me anyway. Not necessary to go to Little Saigon. Fast efficient service although they should call the numbers in English also. Food is good, Tasty, healthy, plenty. Especially the bun. Typical vietnamese bread. Almost like the real French bread. Good crust not like Quiznos etc.
Went here with my brother for sandwiches but, they didn’t have a huge selection for sandwiches. Was more of Vietnamese cuisine place. Was still good would rate this place more of a 3.75. I would definitely go here again for Vietnamese food.
This place is awesome to go place it has a couple of tables and chairs. But usually people just grab and go, because there some food is already packed so you can choose whatever you like on the counter, quick fast and easy, if your in a hurry. Coffee I think its just ok.
Not the place to eat in, but good to take out, the quality of the sandwiches remains constantly good, I would recommend the food here, the prices are fair and the options available are good for Vietnamese style dinner or lunch (to go)
We order take-out quite often at the THH chain, this location g got the bulk of our orders. Food and pricing are ok, not cheap but not expensive either. Except for the main and original location at Edinger & Euclid, which is almost always clean. This location and others need to keep their floor clean, free of knick-knacks such as receipts, straw wrappers.. etc;
First time stopping by at this location...ordered some egg rolls & 2 sandwiches. A couple rolls were stale, the others were fresh! Sandwiches were off the hook...something about the bread here was VERY DELICIOUS. It wasn't too crunchy or too soft, it was just right👌🏽 would definitely come here again....the only thing is that they need to clean up the floor because as soon as you walk inside it's really sticky everywhere. The glass doors too, need to be cleaned up cus you can see all the handprints on the glass.

The quality is dropping. I preordered 4 grilled chicken and rice. The chicken was over cooked to the point the it was shoe leather on the ends of every piece of chicken.
I came at 6:50 ordered spring rolls, pate chaud and four sandwiches which I am very happy but my smoothie was a ice cachang. I forwarded many durian smoothies before and it was liquefied so I could use a small straw. This time they gave me a boba straw and I asked for a small one and they told me you can't use it because if the ice. I came back the next day and told them there was not enough juice flavoring and it was all ice. I had to go to the gym for 2 hours when I came out. The ice still have not melted. I asked for another one and they said no. That's terrible service and they lost my business. I don't see how they could destroy their public relations over not knowing how to make a smoothie to liquefy it. It's the rudeness that was shocking. I'm Vietnamese and I am very polite. They told me how come you didn't tell us before the store close. I told them I was hungry and I only took a sip until I finish my meal. Then I realized it was all ice for a $6 smoothie. Unbelievably they did not accommodate me
Had a bad experience here where the cashier lady was giving me attitude. I knew what I wanted to order and simply just wanted to change one sandwich before the order was going to be officially placed and gave me attitude for it. Then, I have never been to a place where fish sauce won’t be given out especially when ordering egg rolls. I politely asked if it came with fish sauce and she looked at with a sharp tone saying NO. That is when it got me. I told her I would like to purchase a fish sauce and she gave me the deepest, ugliest sigh and eye roll I have ever seen. I felt like she really looked down on me for just a fish sauce. Other than the experience I felt Lee’s Sandwhiches is better. I ordered a warm sandwich but it was still cold, no warmth at all. However, this is place had very good prices. Definitely not coming back for awhile....
I brought my family here to try a non-Lee’s Sandwich option. The place looks cleaner that I would have expected. I ordered an iced coffee and steak sandwich and added a fried egg to the sandwich. The order came quickly. The bread was softer than what you’d get at Lee’s and the iced coffee had a nice rich roasted flavor to it. I asked for no pickled items on my sandwich and they messed that up. No biggy, I just removed it myself. The flavor was good. I’m glad I added an egg, because the egg was hot and the steak was a little cold, which I didn’t enjoy. I’d probably go back to Lee’s next time.
This place could use a good scrubbing. Especially the bathroom. However, the iced coffee was super delicious. The vegetarian tofu sandwich was mostly french fries, but the bread was fantastic. The fried tofu noodle dish was not good.
Good sandwiches and pastries. I’d give it a 3.5 overall if possible. Came in today (6/20) and had ordered 5 of the pork egg rolls along with a few other things. Got home to discover the guy shorted me 2 of the 5. I get it’s maybe a $1.50+ over charge but I’m not sure how you miscount 5 egg rolls. Not worth calling to complain but annoying nonetheless.
They finally finished their remodeling and it's a lot nicer! I always hit this place up when I'm in the area (usually on the way to or from Art Supply Warehouse) and I think it's a solid choice for banh mi. I've never tried anything other than their #11 and iced coffee so I can't vouch for the other items, but if you need a quick bite it does the job. The parking lot can be kind of a pain, but I'm usually able to find a spot.
took 20 mins to get my chicken sandwich and a smoothie not coming back thats for sure
I don't mean to be petty but its price for plain baguette is 27% more than its competitor. I paid $1.49 for one at Lee's Sandwich and THH charged me $1.90 each. 27% is outrageous. Can you imagine how much you're overcharged if you spend $100? Also, its customer service is terrible and the store dirty. You can see trashes on the floor under the counter.
Came here for craving banh bao thit. What a disappointment! The bao tasted like frozen. The cust was plain and dried, meat filing was lack of spices and seasonings...
They charged an extra 25 cents for using a credit card and they did not accept $50 and $100 bills. This is very annoying for buyers. The owner of this shop is very bossy.
Bad service. How come you do good services without good manners? They did not tell me to wait for "banh cuon thanh tri". I left and then came back for that. We paid for my food, did not ask for free, pls treat customers better since most of you (cashiers/employees) is young women and look educated.
asked for light ice Vietnamese coffee. couldn’t even fill it up all the way and its still full of ice. we told them about it but they did none. tried it and it taste too watered down. what a scam. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

The girl cashier who wear glasses was so rude. Other workers are not nice & friendly at all!
Bad service. We came in and 2 employees woman standing there talking. I wait another minute and said HELLO? And when they gave us foods without looking at us. Her face turned kept talking to other employee and her hand gave us foods. So horrible. Stay away from this THH Sandwiches. I will fired these 2 idiots if i am manager.
I enter before two clients and they saw, me, ignore me and started to take orders for the two Asian people. They didn't want to sell me 2 baguettes , even when they have several on the tray and it was almost closing time.
Ordered a blended taro drink today with boba and the drink was horrendous. It had numerous small chunks of what I presume to be frozen taro in the drink and the boba inside the drink was hot. Who puts hot boba in an ice cold drink??? Will never order drinks from here again.
Terrible vegetarian sandwich, I’m so disappointed It is no glue why they’re added the fries potatoes in the sandwich. It’s bad taste, so lucky that I didn’t bought this vegetarian to my temple today. Also the “gỏi cuốn chay” that adding the fries potatoes too... unbelievable
The bread is just getting harder and colder every time I order from them. They blamed it on the bad batch and the cold meat like i have never had it in my life. The staff did not seem to give a d*** about the issue neither
This morning I went to THH to buy 3 dishes for 3 people to eat but the cashier only gave me 1 spoon, how do They eat it, wait for one person to finish the food , take the spoon and go to the next person to eat? If you're too shy, close go home
You guys need to show to the public if you want to pay with your Card..only if you spend 15 dollars 💵 n up..also Restroom 🚻 isn't not working out of service...pay attention to the Health Department of Orange County..
They are kind of weird, they dont accept cash above $50. Their services are rude.
The worst service I ever experienced! Never come back and highly recommended for all people who see this reviews. Think twice before buying stuffs in here
I came here today and the service was nice but the way the girl made my sandwich was really gross. It only takes 1-2mins to change out gloves. After handling various tv remotes from turning the TVs on and touching the card reader and cash register. I get its busy but after touching that many things at once and not bothering to at least change out the gloves it’s careless and rude. Now know exactly why people leave bad reviews. I asked her before she even made my sandwich if should could change her gloves, she flat out ignored me idk if it was the language barrier but someone even translated for me and she lied straight out saying she changed them, when the whole time not once did she do that. All I wanted was a have decent clean meal on my lunch break.
The first time I went to this place it was during the week. There was about 10 to 12 Wontons. Today I visited. 9/09/ 2023, and ordered Wonton Soup again and it only had 4 Wontons and a lot of PORK. I called & ask to speak to the owner, they said no, I asked for manager and they said we are going home; no time to speak to manager! I asked for her name, she replied Tiky! I would never visit again and the place was dirty! No Customer Service skills and they hardly speak ENGLISH!!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
I placed order by phone. When I got at store, they told me to wait another 25 mins because out of bánh cuốn and do not have person to make that. I don’t think that a good excuse because a customer bought 17lbs and then cashier gave them my order too. Please bring this issue to your staffs to improve good customer service in future. Thanks
Come by the store today to grab some cháo quẩy for dinner. However, the lady cashier seems have some problem with her manner. She screamming to my wife’s face like we owe her money for our dinner or we are homeless. So disappointed with this kind of service
I stopped by order special sandwich today (12/20/2024) early in the morning around 8:00. I am very disappointed the bread is one day old. When i take a bite on it so hard i can tell right away, . So if i you want to buy the sandwich at the place dont come early in the morning you may get one day old bread
They don't deserve even one star. Don't go there, save your money and time. The store is filthy! The front door is gross! It doesn't look like they bother cleaning. I purchased the avocado smoothie along with other items. The smoothie tasted full of sugar and no avocado and the drink itself looked light "brownish" color. I questioned them about it and they turned around and told me that's how it is...like I don't know what it supposed to taste and look like! Given that it would never compare to Bambu, but I have been purchasing this drink many times before and never tasted this awful. I threw the drink away in their trash. Never go back!
They messed up my order, then got mad because they have to make a new one. Attitude is everything.
