AWESOME!!! NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN SO TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH ANY RESTAURANT! JUST HAD DELIVERY FROM WABA GRILL ON CHAPMAN IN THE CITY OF GARDEN GROVE. SO NICE, SO KIND, SO FAST, SHE CAME TO THE DOOR SO SO SWEET AT ABOUT 7: 45, I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE A NICE GENTLEMAN WITH HER, PROTECTING HER, AWESOME! THEN CAME THE FOOD! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I GOT THE CHICKEN BOWL, AND PORK WON TONS, IT WAS SOOO GOOD! I'VE ALWAYS LOVED THIS PLACE, NOW I LOVE IT MORE! SERIOUSLY, IF YOU WANT A GREAT PLACE TO EAT,,,, GO TO WABA GRILL, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Clean place. Nice fast service & my food taste great good staff. Just watch out for the homeless some lady came in the store and asked me for food for her kids while I was eating . IIsaid no thanks then she cused me out so I told her thats why i dont dont have kids get a job scum bag lady Arabian
I come to this waba grill often for lunch and Erika always provides me with excellent service. Food is exceptionally good! My personal favorite is the rib plate.
good place to grab something fast to eat enjoy and have pretty good food you have different choices of meat and chicken and beef is the Bowser pretty good the rice bowls
Super fast service. Fresh cooked veggies, not overcooked, perfect crunch. Grilled chicken and steak were delicious. Love the sauces. Tons of fresh pickled carrot and jalapeno. Good stuff!
Iam from santa ana. I went to pet smart and had my dog grooming while waiting i went to waba and check what to eat. and this cashier 'ixara' was so friendly and very accomodating. I was just getting a bowl but for her energetic vibe and beauty i ordered what she is selling I ordered salmon plate with avocado and 10dumplings with large soda. The food was really good and will definitely be back again in this location.
Don't estimate the deliciousness of waba grill. I get the grilled chicken bowl with veggies and avacado. Yum! I have found that the beef is a little dry for my taste and the chicken is delicious anyway! This place has quick service and even a drive through (although, I've never been)!
EBT card friendly. Staff is good. The chicken teraki is good especially with steam rice with savory cabbage. Very healthy fills your stomach.. excellent drink variety as well

Went after a horrible experience at ross and my spirit went up. The cashier was so nice and I loved how quiet and clean it was. My husband and I felt comfortable enough to eat there with our son. Thank you to the sweet cashier! Honestly made our night.

Rice and chicken bowls kind of bland and honesty they could use a lot more in the seasonings Department doesn't have to be salt it could be something healthy but they really need to step up their game on that front decent pricing and the meal was filling though I'm not a big fan of carb loading like this
Consistent food. I am not a huge fan of the menu. Meats are good, veggies good. Sauses limited. Healthy options. Reasonable price.
Like being able to order online, makes itnvery convenient. Usually get the beef and chicken combo with veggies cause it is so good.
Really good and fresh tasting. The girl at the counter was super nice and helpful when asking about different options.

(UPDATE: It's great to when a company is paying attention to their customers: i was emailed by corporate within the hour of this post, stating that the management from the location would be contacting me soon to discuss and correct the issue; and that's exactly what happened....very happy customer)The food was great but customer service was definitely lacking I asked for a beef bowl but requested to add shrimp my wife ordered the same thing with two small drinks total came out to $38 and some change I paid it and was handed the receipt and the employee quickly turned and dissapeared. I then noticed that she charged me two shrimp bowls (the most expensive on the menu) and added a side of beef at $4 and change each, I'm not one to complain, but the total made me question if that's how they train their employees. I mean I did order from the menu and ultimately I got what I asked for but the receipt clearly showed that the employee charged me the more expensive bowl

food was great...dining experience SUCKED!!!! The rap music so f____ing loud you could not hear the person next to you. mgmt... it's a restaurant not a dance club. common sense is you don't need the music at 100%!
Pretty slow service. The manager was nice and friendly, the lady at the cash register needed some more customer service training.

love my waba grill. ive eaten at over half in California, so i know how it should,...be. this one... naaaaa....dont lije it, or the service, or the portions, not even on the rice. highly dislike, compared to 60 others.... do not recomend
I know covid-19 is about, but that is no excuse for stale 3 day old chicken... the beef is a tad better, but borderline beef jerky.
No AC in the summery is wild and this place is so dirty. Dirty walls and floors. Trash on the floor everywhere and flying bugs. Doors wide open while we have to smell smokers standing there while we eat. I'll go to other locations on the future. :/
I give this place two stars only because I got better service from the cooks in the back than the younger cashier up at the front. I ordered online and went to pick up. The young cashier had her mask under her nose and she didn't greet me. That's was fine, until I told her I was here for a online order and gave her my name. She went to look and didn't see my name, and then she just proceeded to continue to work on what she was doing. She looked at me but didn't say anything. Something along the lines of "we're working on it" or something would have been enough. Customers came in and out and they were helped while I waited. She then left on what seemed like a break and the cook took over the cashier. Everyone was helped while I waited. The cook acknowledged me and then went to look at the orders and gave me my order that was sitting on the counter. She apologized, and that's fine. What I don't like is that the younger cashier needs training on customer service. She talks to people like she doesn't want to be there. It turns me off from returning to places like this.

The portions at this specific waba are terrible. For 12 dollars the amount of food you get is not worth it. I drive to other waba grills because this one purposely gives smaller portions and charges more than down the street.
They don't seem to care enough to try and00ķ< manually enter my card in order for my payment to go thru. They act clueless and overall unfriendly. Only thing that got them a star is the fact their food is good! Get better customer service please!!
This location must be going out of business soon. They are giving out meager portions now. A Waba bowl is now 95% rice with a few pieces of beef and chicken.
A terrible disappointment, annoyance because I ordered a chicken beef bowl and they put such a small portion of meat on it, that amount made a mockery of me. This will be the last time I go to that store

For your safety and your families safety. DO NOT GO HERE. Went in yesterday and found that their safety measure for dealing with Covid19 is extremely lax. I've gone to other Waba Grills and they had everything ready. Sauces were prepackaged and others came in packaging. Utensils and drinks were taken care of by employees with gloves and masks. No other person but the employees touched anything. This location sets gloves on the side but i literally watched as customers touch the surfaces like tongs, sauce pumps, utensils, plastic containers etc, without gloves. So, Those surfaces could be touched by hundreds of people. Its not sanitary. They need to up their safety for the public and their employees. Less contact from the public the better.
Let me order online. Took the money out of my account. Did not deliver the order, and then I get an email saying the order was canceled by the restaurant. They didn’t have time to make my order but they took the money out of my account? Grubhub said the order was canceled because the restaurant was closed. Funny because I placed the order two and a half hours before closing. Trash.
I went to WaBa Grill before leaving town to get lunch. I ordered a beef and veggie bowl. I was half way through eating the bowl and found a long black hair in the rice. I was sick to my stomach after that. Beyond disgusted. I will never return to this location.
despite being relatively dead whenever i arrive and the fact my girlfriend orders on the phone in advance they dont start making anything until we arrive, so what is the point of ordering on the phone if one still has to wait. They frequently forget my order comes with a fountain drink cup so i remind them. Once they charged me twice for avocado that only one bowl had. 3.80 or something like that, the employees need to wake up .
Ordered through Grub Hub and they got our order wrong contacted the store (this location) to fix it to which the guy replied "if the order is different on your screen that is not my problem ... The delivery guy made his last delivery for the night ..." HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. I mean come on you should do everything you can to make it right not say "not my problem"
I ordered 2 bowl of planned steak. They gave me 10 small pieces for each bowl amd most of them were burned. and rice was less than haft of the bowl. Bad service too.
Charged me extra for dipping sauce instead of just swapping out the one that came with the order 🤦🏼♀️ If I wanted burnt food I’d have my wife make it.

Spent 30 bucks on food and fountain drinks. Only to find out the fountain drink dispenser had. No sugar syrup for any beverage choice. It would have been nice if the girl at the register would. Have said something in the first place.
Young women with glasses who took my order is rude. I placed my order and I told her “thank you”. She ignored me and she turned around. I thought maybe she didn’t hear me. She then called out my order. Again I said “thank you, have a great night” Again she turned away. That’s when I realized this young lady is rude and has no manners and no customer service. Waba do better with your employees. I get people have rough days but come on now! Literally there was only one person there other than me ordering. Smh
Me and my husband when 4/18 around 4pm, there it was this Woman she wasn't wearing a name tap that's why I'm not able to get her name, but she was on Phone all the time, she took our order all wrong; because she was listening more the phone then to us, then when she give us our order it was all wrong, So we asked her to replace the food because, she was so distracted by her phone that we have to repeat the order many times and she was still on her phone! She is the worst, really bad attitude, terrible customer service (In case this is helpful for manager, or owner; She was the youngest one at that time)
Very unprofessional, the girl at the cash register charged me an extra bowl. When I told her she charged me for an extra bowl, she told me to wait for the manager. They told me the manger would be here in 10-15 minutes so I waited, it took over 20 minutes for them to only give me the managers phone number to call him to let him know about my refund. The manager then stated I didn’t need to wait there and that he will call me in 30 minutes for refund because he was at the Huntington Beach Waba grill location.
This location by time has been going g downhill idk if there’s new management because they never have what I want I call like 40 minutes before they close and sometimes they pick up the phone and when they do they tell me that they don’t have what I want and it will take around 30 minutes to prep it and by the time they do they will be closing soon it’s the night staff crew that works on the weekends that always does this very bad service
Poor costumer service the girl that was the cashier had an attitude, will never go back to that location. Managers or The franchise owner should be more careful and selective of their employees. If they don’t like to work there don’t!! Plain and simple.. you hate costumers don’t work in costumer service go work at a factory and that’s it!! I try to do the survey and my receipt # didn’t work but i was there 6/5/21 @2:30
