The service is great! The staff is so sweet. The food is amazing for the price! We got lobster, shrimp , crab legs , potatoes and boiled egg in a boiled bag for a good price of $38. Most seafood places charge arm and leg for this. We ordered the Cajun seasoning and it's really good! Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food is amazing! These negative reviews must be scam and bought because I already have a excellent time and excellent service here. The seafood is sooo amazing! Some of the best I have tasted. 10/10

Great selection of custom and pre-made boils with flavors and spice level. Chowder is good. Calamari was just ok. Oysters were fresh. Garlic/Cajun rub was a little bit on the salty side but went perfectly with a aside of rice. Great respite from the rest of the run of the mill restaurants at Firewheel.

The atmosphere was SO fun and definitely a fun place to go with friends. I just did a quick pick up through Doordarsh and I ordered fried shrimp and fries and the shrimp were huge and so yummy. The staff was okay they are hard workers just the one who gave me my food wasnt as friendly but eh I at least got my food.

It was good. Where else are you going to get unlimited crab legs? The sauce was mostly grease/oil though. The staff could be more friendly but they weren't rude. The main highlight is the all you can eat. Overall, an okay place. If you want to get a lot for your money, choose this place

We love a good Cajun restaurant. The Laughing Crab definitely *looks* like it would qualify; inside and out, we liked the decor. But I'm sorry to say that the food was pretty disappointing. The fried foods had super-heavy breading that we all agreed was Cajun in name only. As a point of procedure, waiters should mention it if a side you order will cost extra, and not have a surprise at the end when you learn that your onion rings (instead of fries) cost $2 more. Also, it would be great if the waiter would check back in occasionally to see if anyone's drink needs refilling.

Service was pretty bad with at least 5-6 mistakes on our orders but since it was AYCE we just reordered the missed items for the next round. Atmosphere was good this location is huge probably way bigger than they need. Only about 35% full on a Friday night. Location has a full bar and tvs to watch sports.

If I was able to give half stars I would give a 3.5. I think they do a lot of things right and living close we will probably be back to see if it was just a bad day. First, I love king crab so we ordered that with the house seasoning hot. We also ordered lobster, crawfish, and sausage. It was evident with the first bite that their boil is not seasoned. The crab was overcooked and didn't have any flavor. The sauce saved it, because we loved the sauce but I didn't end up finishing the legs and moved to the crawfish. The crawfish was the same, no flavor unless you dipped it in the sauce. We eat this meal a lot at other seafood boil restaurants (so much so that we bring our own tools) so we're disappointed in the lack of flavor. Service was slow. When our server disappeared, We tried to get the bartenders attention for a few more beers and thought he acknowledged us but no drink came. Eventually I wiped off my hands and went up and found someone to order. The last fail was the birthday shot. I was so excited to order this shot with the flame on top. It's advertised with a flame in the picture and the description. It came to the table with no flame, so I asked and was told they couldn't find a lighter. So I took it anyway. It tasted good but I bought it for fun and was disappointed. I know, silly, but I like gimmicky stuff when out eating. Don't make it an option if you aren't going to do it right. And if you have to come short, acknowledge that when you bring it to the table. I will say that the lobster was awesome, it was also overcooked but it was sitting in that amazing sauce and because it was small it almost tasted grilled. The sausage was very good. Probably my favorite thing this visit. I think a little work needs done in the service and if they can get some of those amazing spices into the boil so that the seafood has flavor, I think we'd frequent it more since it's close. It is a cute place.

This review is for the black folks looking for some decent seafood. So I ordered on Uber eats I will say it came from 30 mins away and when it got here it was HOT. Still fresh so that part I can appreciate. When it comes to taste however it’s as if they boiled it separately then put it into the juice. I kind of gagged a little because I sucked one the crawfish heads and it tasted straight like dirt and ocean. The juice is good though so I’ll give them that I just don’t think they’ve found out how to cook the flavor into the seafood well tbh. I ended up scooping up the juice with the crawfish heads and doing it that way and it was good. I kind of knew already though with the juice wasn’t very thick. I got the house special. Medium heat it wasn’t very hot at all. All in all I would not try again The food was cooked decently just no flavor.

Overall, it wasn’t a good experience, and the lack of customer service was disappointing given how easy it would have been to make things right.

We had a great day of shopping at the Firewheel Town Center and stopped for lunch at Laughing Crab. We ordered the crawfish and shrimp boil lunch. 0/10 the sauce is so oily and watery the one location in Dallas have thick sauce and it taste so much better , found hair in my food !! The crab legs had a funny taste the bar was closed ?? The waitress barely speak enough English. this was my second time at this location and my last time going . Everyone should be wearing hair nets ! The sauce need to be more thick please reach out to a different location to learn how to thicken the sauce .

Run! Away yuck! We eat seafood boil often, fisherman’s kitchen, king crab & the boiling crab. Last night we came to eat here and the crawl fish tasted like straight river water the sauce no flavor, and the shrimps black spots. Me my wife and our 11 month old ate here while our other two kids stayed home, our daughter woke up puking from an upset stomach! Me and my wife got the runs and upset stomach’s! Gross NEVER COMING BACK! After complained about the crawlfish they said no refunds or help. Nope 👎

We came back here not too long ago for the second time, just to be highly disappointed and disgusted by this place. As we walked in the door, it is posted that a recent health inspection had been failed, which the City does not post publicly here unfortunately, but you can ask for it in person at the restaurant and they have to provide it to you, which should have been the first red flag. Before we even ordered, I had to run to the bathroom with a young child, and was greeted with the nastiest bathroom I have ever seen. 2 of the 3 stalls were locked because they had been clogged with feces and toilet paper, and there were signs on the stall that stated to not put toilet paper or anything other than liquids in the toilet because of their “sensitive pipes” so people were literally wiping after using the bathroom and throwing it in the trashcan or on the floor. For it being a tuesday before dinner rush, that bathroom, whether they could unclog the toilets or not, had not been cleaned in several days. Really disappointing that the owners and staff practice poor hygiene because the food was actually amazing the first time we went before all this came to light. I don’t see this place lasting much longer.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life! Went here order the clams, crawfish, lobster, scallops, and crab legs. The crawfish were so small it was ridiculous but that's not the worst part. The clams were bad as in spoiled or old. They didn't taste bad but not even ten minutes after leaving the restaurant I got food poisoning. Very very bad food poisoning! Do not eat here and if for some reason you do. Under no circumstances should you ever eat the clams you will be either throwing up or living on the toilet for a while!

While we enjoyed our meal, we did not enjoy the service. We paid $150 for the all you can eat for three people. We each put in our order, and never ordered another round of food. When it came time to leave they wanted to charged me $15/lb for the food we already paid for. Obviously if we had ordered many rounds of food I could understand the up charge for to go, but we did not. We were told that they will either throw the food away or give it to somebody else.
