The only proper hootch in this little town, reasonable drink prices and a kitchen if you need something to go with your alcohol. You can smoke in here, which isn't too common nowadays. They got a digital jukebox, karaoke and people perform there sometimes.

I enjoyed this bar . Was there celebrating my daughter's birthday. I haven't been to a bar in about 10 years. I expected more people to be there, but was a nice evening

Really fun little place. We enjoyed the atmosphere, really well priced drinks, and great customer service. If you get a chance you should swing by and check it out. Very much so worth it.

This is the only place in Gatesville as far as the bar goes there's so much that could be done with the bar as far as promoting it I believe they would have more business and Improvement in the drinks would be great they aren't very high but they're not very strong at all you're lucky if you taste any liquor at all karaoke on Friday nights it's very good the man who does it it's very nice the only thing he doesn't fit the pitch to your voice I go sometimes just to get out

Never made it all the way inside. The establishment is Smoking 🚬 and the smell hit me as soon as I opened the door. About-Face! Never Mind.

The barmaids only know how to serve a beer and any kind of mixed drink is foreign to them. If you ask, you'll just get a nasty look. Won't be going back.

I'd leave zero stars if possible. A. They smoke inside B. Its members only BUT you can sign up immediately. What a joke, poor attempt at being exclusive. Your better off getting a 6 pack at a gas station and hanging out in the bathroom.

The owner was super rude and obviously thought that it’s ok to take advantage of soldiers. I thought Texas loves America but clearly the owner of Somewhere Else Bar doesn’t. If you were planning on going here I would strongly suggest you go SOMEWHERE ELSE

The service was extremely slow, the drinks were decent. However, the owner was extremely rude and had terrible customer service. The bar suddenly charged additional fees to soldiers visiting town. The environment of this bar was negative and I will never be returning.

If it were possible to leave no stars i would. I spoke with Squirt about performing a live broadcast from this venue. I was asked what i needed from the venue. I explained all i needed was wifi and aux access to the bars sound system. i was made aware that they dont have wifi. ok, no problrm. I get therr to find out, they had no way for me to hook up tobthe sound system, cuz they dont have o ne. Borrowed gas, wasted time, false informed.

Hours say 10 pm. Craving wings on a sun eve.. drive there only to be told...we are closing. It is 8:50 pm. This is the 8th time. I give up. Hours are flakey, may or may not be open during posted hours, may or may not have food, smiles from staff extra. Smeh! Its as if they WANT to fail.

If you're not a regular, don't bother going here. They will ignore you, but take care of the regulars. They will be offered 2 or 3 drinks to your 1 drink. Even though you might drink more, even if you engage the bartender in friendly conversation. They don't care about you if you're not a regular. For the 1st time ever, I didn't tip because I was ignored. It's not the first time I've been ignored there, but it's the 1st time I didn't tip. I'm tired of being ignored. I won't be back, even if I was paid to go back. It's not just 1 server. It's every time I go there. Since 2017.
