The food was delicious. I haven’t had juicy chicken and lamb chops like that in a MINUTE! The staff was professional and kind and our waitress gave great wine selections. SUPER BUSY and reservation is a MUST.

Finally tried Riganato and had good portions of very tasty food! Ours was a to go order and I absolutely LOVED my Greek Lasagne! We will be back for a sit down meal!

So glad we pulled over to try this quaint dimly lit old world Italian Restaurant located in an old home on Rte 38 (Roosevelt Road) on the East side of Geneva. Had to try the lasagna since this was our first time here. Was plentiful and delicious. Would definitely recommend. Also tried the Pasta Primavera which had a nice light and flavorful sauce. Didn't have dessert but there were plenty of options. Saw many people stopping in to carry out pizza. This place was packed by 5:30 on a Wednesday night.

From the moment you walk to the door you can smell Italian cooking wafting through the parking lot. Lunch specials are the way to go. Spaghetti with what my husband considers to be the best meatballs was his choice. I always love calamari and I made sure we started that way. We certainly were not disappointed. Nick's Calamari was absolutely delicious! Late lunch and we were really hungry but it was gone. They also bring warm bread. They brought butter, but we heard another table ask for olive oil. Next time we'll know. I also had the lunch special - Capellini al Pesto. Everything was delicious and I'm so glad we saved money and brought home a ton of leftovers.

This is the second time I've been here, and I have only ordered the specials. My advice is to do just that. One more word: Wow! The atmosphere is comforting, the food is delicious, and the service is great. Anytime I come to the Metro Chicago area I will be having at least one meal here. I was really hoping they had the Spinach Ricotta pinwheels for a special again, but I'm glad to have tried what I did!!!

Generous portions of insanely delicious Italian/European gourmet cuisine. A perfect little hidden gem, great for dates or special occasions, import beer, amazing daily specials (but be quick they sell out!!) Note: Make sure to call for reservations!! This is a big word of mouth restaurant and has been full each time I have gone. Experience: I don't remember them name of our server, but it was a woman with shoulder-length blonde hair, and we received exceptional service.

Food was amazing! Probably the best vodka pasta I’ve ever had, pizza was really good too, and portions were large (although maybe a little pricey). Service was OK, but free bread was not great (super tiny hard loaf).

Yummy food!! Definitely go!! The Greek food is awesome as well. The vodka is not classic vodka but great as well.

I have been going to Riganato for many years now, my late wife introduced me to this place before we eventually moved to Geneva only a few blocks away. This place has always made me feel like I'm at home, the food is excellent and it's always an excellent time. I will always have special memories here and cannot recommend it enough.

Diverse menu with so many choices, I could visit 12 times and try a new meal every time. The food was delicious and a great value. The staff at Riganato are incredibly polite, efficient, and friendly. My fiancee and I went to celebrate her birthday and it was the perfect dinner. Would highly recommend to anyone!

From the moment we walked in until we left, we really felt like we were eating at a friend's home. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I can't say enough about the meatballs. MUST TRY the meatball appetizer. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I went there for the first time over the weekend. The food was spectacular. Probably the best Italian food we’ve had in the Fox River area. Additionally, the service was out of this world and the people who work there were incredibly kind. You can tell that they take tremendous pride in their food and the experience that their customers have. We will definitely keep coming back!

We wanted to try the restaurant because of the really good reviews that previous customers had posted. We came in on a Friday evening. Because it was our first time it didn't occur to us to get a reservation. When we got there we were greeted by a very nice and super friendly hostess. She of course asked if we had a reservation which we answered that we didn't. She said that they would try to work it out. At that point she involved the manager, (female, may even have been the owner. Not sure), who was also very friendly and also reassured us that they would try to work it out to get us in. That was our first impression. From there our experience held the same high level. Our server Madeline was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Honestly it seemed that every employee even the guy cleaning the tables had a great demeanor. Many restaurants that you go to the employees come across like you're bothering them. We didn't feel this from any employee that we saw. And then there was the food, which is really what it comes down to. This would decide wether you will return. Well the food was outstanding. We had the salmon and the tortellini. We also tried the Riganato pizza. Everything without exception was delicious, perfectly prepared with good sized portions. We will definitely return soon. Love this place! The food is excellent, especially if you're able to eat it fresh. The wait staff are so friendly and the owner Nick was so attentive and helped us find parking when we arrived! Wide variety on the menu so there's lot to choose from. Definitely recommend.

Amazing restaurant, phenomenal food, service and atmosphere. I have been driving past this place for months and finally gave it a try, definitely a new favorite spot. The owner was so sweet and all of the staff was great. Truly a great experience which is becoming hard to find these days. 10/10 would recommend especially if you’re gluten free.

I’ve been a long time customer here, and I’ve yet to try anything on the menu that I’m disappointed with. The service is always out of this world, the food is downright delicious, and portions are very generous. It’s family owned, and they are just amazing, wonderful people. Love this place!

This is an amazing little place and I highly recommend you give it a try. Lots of gluten free options if that is what you need. My girlfriend is gluten free and was extremely happy. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a new favorite place in my book.

Phenomenal food--really loved the pizza. They have some unique specialty pizza items that all of us loved. Dinners were all very good. Folks were not fans of the meatball sandwich, but everything else was very good and we will definitely be freq anuent customers.

Riganato is a gem find ans a tourist!!! All 6 of our dishes were absolutely excellent. The staff incredibly friendly, definitely creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They have an extensive gluten-free menu, catering thoughtfully to dietary needs without compromising on taste. Highly recommend Riganato for a delightful dining experience!

I had trout on the lunch special menu with a very tasteful sauce of mushrooms wine lemon and I don't know what else. It's the best fish I've had in a long long time.

We loved our experience here! They have a lunch menu and an outdoor patio and really positive and cozy energy. We had the jalapeno gnocchi, which was amazing, and they have so many vegetarian options. I loved their lunch menu, huge portions, and unique cocktails -- mine was some kind of combination of fig and orange I think. Definitely planning on coming back soon

Have always loved this restaurant. Coming here fur baby years. So cozy inviting and really great food. Everything we have ever had is delicious. Homemade Mediterranean Italian made with love and care. You can always tell when owners are dedicated to their customers loving the food. The Rigatoni Salciccio is my favorite but can’t go wrong with any choice.

Such nice people here. I believe it was the manager or the owner that came to our table. Our server was an awesome young lady. And the man at the front was very nice and accommodating. Meatball sandwich was enormous and delicious. And the Italian sausage sandwich was quite yummy as well. Can't wait to come back.

I can't say enough about Riganato. The food was outstanding and the dining room is so cozy with a fireplace! Everyone in my party really enjoyed our experience - not only the food - but the care and concern they showed my daughter who has a garlic allergy. That was most appreciated. The prices are reasonable, and the service was top notch! Can't wait to return soon!

Our family went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. This was our first visit and it didn't disappoint. In fact, it was FANTASTIC. Every dish we had was packed with flavor and had large portions. We took almost half of our meals home. Marcia, our waitress, was attentive and outstanding. She brought some fries for my grandson and a piece of cake for my wife accompanied by the entire staff singing Happy Birthday. While I'm sure everything is delicious, we'd recommend the following the Mamacita Chicken Sandwich, the Portobello Sandwich (one of the best we've ever had), the Rignatoni Al Salsiccia and Butternut Squash Gnochi. The burgers are huge (10 oz) and very tasty too. We look forward to our next visit.

First time dining here since the place was The Rib House. Delightful change. We felt welcome the moment we walked in. The ambiance felt warm and cheerful with the lighting and fireplace going. We had the special of the day, Rotolo. Others had salad and the Greek burger. All were good portions and delicious. Service was prompt, helpful answering questions, keeping the drinks filled and table clean. Ordered stuffed meatball appetizer to go. We will definitely return!

This was our first time there. The owners were exceptionally friendly From the moment we walked in, throughout our meal, and as we left. We are the grilled octopus, meatballs, and the ribeye. We were absolutely pleased with everything we ate including dessert. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.

We've been coming here for years and are never disappointed! They have a wide variety of Gluten Free options, and they can also make substitutions to accommodate other food allergies, too. They catered our wedding and the guests were talking about the food for weeks!

Everything we had was so good! Some of the big favorites from our group were: lemon oregano chicken kabobs, spaghetti and meatballs, Greek chicken egg lemon soup, chopped salad, and pastichio. The tzatziki is some of the best I've ever had! I can't wait to go here again!

A really enjoyable dining experience. The service is fantastic, and the food was great and served promptly. Everything we tried was enjoyable and everything was pretty affordable. I would highly recommend this place if you are a fan of Mediterranean cuisine including Italian and Greek food.

Geneva has so many wonderful places to eat and Riganato is another one of those places! The food here is made fresh and has a “personal touch” I got the rigatoni and it was so delicious. It felt like the ingredients came to me hot off the stove. Additionally, the service is great here!

Thwy say the food is made fresh but the way the pasta was clumped together, I doubt it. Meatball are real good. Tgis was our first visit so will try again.

Rigonato, gives you a warm and friendly family feel from the minute you walk in till you leave, but I don't know if the restaurant changed its food supplier or the recipe. I was there over the long weekend, and it was not how I remembered it. I started with soup, and it was so watered down and flavorless. I then ordered the Rigatoni chicken vodka sauce and was highly disappointed. I used to love taking my family and friends. Not only did the quality decrease, but the prices increased so much that, sadly, I won't return or recommend the restaurant.
