Sean Patrick’s was outstanding for my recent Bridal Shower. They thought of everything from start to finish and helped accommodate us along the way with last minute touches. Their staff was super attentive and helpful with everything we asked. I highly recommend them for your next event!
Very pleasant. I’d recommend it.
We love Sean Patrick's! We had our wedding reception in their ball room in June of 2012, and a lunch in the Garden Room following our son's baptism in June of 2018. Both times, the ladies in charge of our events were very attentive to every detail, and everything went great. We've also stopped by for dinner, just my husband and I. The highlight of any visit is their potato soup- yum!!
Friendly atmosphere, great food, pub menu available, happy hours, reasonable prices. Arguably one of Buffalo's best beef on weck sandwiches available here. I miss the popcorn at the bar but COVID has curbed many of my favorite snacks most restaurants. The chicken wings and fried baloney are great here too!
Lunch with the girls. We had a delicious lunch and very reasonably priced. Our service was excellent.
Very nice restaurant. Great service. Large portions. We all had Excellent Beer Batter Fish Fry's. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful, Whole Food/Plant Based meal at Sean Patricks tonight! We called earlier in the day to ask if the Chef would prepare a special request? They asked us, like what? We indicated Plant Based. No meat, no dairy, very little oil. They said, No problem. We said, have the Chef get creative. The meals were WONDERFUL. Lots of veggies, some on skewers. DELISH‼️ BEAUTIFULLY presented!! Our waitress, Jessica, was delightful, engaging and very efficient!! Highly recommend. Don’t be afraid to call ahead for a special request. They will accommodate if possible 😊
My group of friends meet up about twice a year, for about 30ish years. We haven't been going to Sean Patrick's all the time, but it's comfortable, the food is good, and service is good too.
I would like to start by saying I never write reviews (good or bad) but in this case I made an exception to that rule. We just had our daughters wedding at Sean Patricks. What an exceptional venue. The staff is amazing to work with. We have received so many compliments on the food from our guests. The entire evening could not have been any better. I would like to give a special thanks to Liz and Tom and their staff for such outstanding service. Liz you are one in a million. Thanks for everything. Marge P. and family.
I have always loved the bar area here. It's been several years (7) since I've been here since I moved further away. I was happy to see Mike still working there. Still a great atmosphere, the food was excellent and the service very prompt and friendly. I was amazed that Mike remembered me after all that time, sign of a great bartender! I will go back soon
We had our favorite bartender (Collen) waited on us. She is so sweet, makes the perfect cocktails. She also served us our lunch. The food is very awesome, we will tell all our friends to go to your restaurant.
I was here for an alumni dinner this week for the first time. The food was absolutely delicious and a very large quantity of it--unlike any other venue I've been too. The service was commendable--very gracious, pleasant and extremely attentive. I take my "cap" off to this restaurant!
Loved this place!!! Our banquet was here and it was amazing!!! Liz and Ron go above and beyond and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The food was delicious and the servers and service were top notch!! We would definitely recommend this place to everyone either for dinner or a banquet!! Thank you again to everyone at Sean Patrick's for a job well done!!!!!
Amazing food and service! Great for happy hour, lunch, dinner, or for just grabbing a few apps! I would recommend the stuffed banana peppers, crab cakes, Reuben, potato encrusted haddock, chicken Bryan, signature salad with salmon and homemade balsamic dressing, and chicken pasta!
First time I have been there. My son had his high school volleyball team banquet. Ron hosted us and quickly responded to our every need. It was very smooth and efficient. I highly recommend.
BEST POTATO SOUP I'VE EVER ENJOYED! I seriously recommend going here just for that! Fish... good! burger... good! shepherd's pie... good! potato soup... OMG! Great service and great atmosphere!
Excellent! This time our Boy Scouts Awards dinner was here. The food was again good. Great casual dining - for fun look up the phrase "Cead mile failte" before arriving!
We had a party of 15 for Easter dinner. Everything was truly exceptional. The food stations, taste and variety and the servers who were so friendly and attentive, the whole experience was fantastic. We were so grateful to dine with you for Easter. Thank you!
I was treated to dinner by a couple of friends that had dined here before. My first time and thought it was amazing. The food was good and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She accommodated us and made us feel welcomed. The atmosphere was fun and comfortable. I would recommend this place to my family and friends
Great place, bar was busy but not too busy. Had a drink before dinner and a couple with dinner. Appetizers were hot and well made. Four different entrees and no complaints by anyone. Relaxed pace, decent background music. Never disappoints!
Great place, I've never had a bad meal here .. always friendly, prices are decent... I think they are also known for having a very nice banquet facility but I have never used it
Had lunch there today, great food, loved the atmosphere, staff was very friendly, prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend go there, we'll be back.
Fantastic service and food! Great place for any kind of gathering as they have a banquet hall too! Definitely Kimmy-Sue Tested and Approved 🇺🇲🥰💋
Our daughter's wedding was at Sean Patrick's this weekend. Five stars are not nearly enough. The Event Coordinator Liz and the Banquet Manager Ron were so easy to work with and the food was absolutely delicious. The entire service staff were efficient and attentive to make sure the evening moved along smoothly. The decor was set up just as we envisioned. KUDOS to the Sean Patrick's team! Top notch service and food. The wedding was flawless and our guests are still talking about how wonderful the evening was.
Went here for dinner and had a delicious meal! Tried the clam chowder, which was excellent, then had a fish fry which was golden brown and perfectly cooked. All the food ordered was very good, everyone was very satisfied. Love the atmosphere, and the service was excellent! We will hopefully be coming back soon!
I was at your restaurant last Saturday with a large group of eleven people. Our waitress Jane was superior to any I have seen. She was pleasant and outgoing. As a whole our group truly enjoyed her she was there for our every request with a smile on her face She even set up chairs for a group picture.. we are planning on returning not only for the excellent food but for this ‘special “ waitress.
Beautiful yet casual, Sean Patrick's has been a family favorite of ours for years. We want for Friday fish fry last week. They offered three different types of fish preparation. You can choose from broiled, bread, or beer battered. Our entire party chose the bread. It was thicker than I expected but the fish was cooked to absolute perfection. Our 2 year old was very happy with her chicken finger and french fries. I was really happy to see it was also served with fresh carrots and celery which she gobbled up. Our waitress was great too. What impressed me the most this time around is that when we called ahead to see the level of traffic that at the restaurant that night, the woman who answered the phone was so calm, polite, and pleasant on the phone. I feel like you don't get that much when you call a restaurant on a Friday night. We will be back.
I recently had my wedding reception here and it was phenomenal. The manager who oversaw the reception was excellent, definitely taking care of all of our needs. The venue itself is beautiful with all of my guests raving about how elegant it was. The food was also top notch; we had the baked ham, roast beef and chicken and all of it was great. I don't have any pictures of the venue by itself but here is me and my new wife with the venue kind of behind us.
This was our first time here. We had a party of 8. I can’t say how pleased we were with Sean Patrick’s. There was not one complaint from anyone at our table. Our food was delicious and arrived quickly. I can’t say enough good things about our waitress Sara. She kept our drinks full and seemed and came back to the table server also times asking if we needed anything. The atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting. We will be back and I am genuinely upset I never knew about Sean Patrick’s before now. Thank you for a great experience.
I've always enjoyed coming here. It is a nice big restaurant with a great atmosphere. My favorite item on their menu is the soups. I always will get the potato soup no matter what. The other soups they have are also delicious. The rest of their food is good as well. It is a decent sized menu but may be limited for some.
We love to come here for an occasional date night. The food is good, service is good, and the atmosphere is good. Lots of parking, nice bar area, and banquet rooms, aside from the regular restaurant seating. We both ordered the shepherd's pie tonight. It came with soup or salad, and bread. I tried the Irish potato soup, it was fantastic.
So glad we went here. The restaurant was quiet with pleasant music in the background. And it wasn't crowded.. Loved the atmosphere. It's such a beautiful place. The food was excellent. And the waiter was friendly and pleasant to us. Will come back.
Wow, loved this genuine Irish tavern. The food is superb. Shepherds pie, Reubens, awesome Steaks, and Irish beer. Enjoy the service and the food. Don't often mention the cleanliness of a restaurant I'm grading; But this place is immaculate! Got to see it for yourself!
Ate there for lunch today Very busy, but waitress did her best and was tipped according. Food was special of the day, spot on perfect delicious. Crusted pork loin, vegetables, squash. As we're my dining companions dishes. We have been there,we will be back
Attended our company corporate breakfast. I have always been super impressed with the staff and their attention to detail. There is a gentleman (sorry but don't know his name) that has been part of the staff for the ten years that I have attended our corporate breakfast. He is phenomenal!! He always remembers the little details (table cloth to cover a box for our projector). Kudos to that man!!
We stopped for lunch and enjoyed our food and drink!
Was here for a funeral dinner. The Italian Wedding Soup and mashed potatoes were delish!
In the months of September and October, my golf leagues had their end of season banquets at Sean Patrick's. Each was a buffet. The food was excellent and plentiful. The staff was efficient, friendly and professional. Each was a great dining experience.
We've had many company events at this venue over the years. Always great food and friendly staff. Never a complaint about anything. Excellent appetizers and yummy dinners. I don't know what the cost was but it was worth it.
Can't comment enough how GREAT this restaurant is!!! We recently had our 60th Anniversary Brunch their and food was terrific, service was terrific, ALL the details were taken care of with even table decorations!! Just can't rave enough about this place! It was reasonable for all that you got as well as a good atmosphere!!! HIGHLY recommend that anyone should look at this place wither it be for wedding, anniversaries, showers, etc. THANK YOU!!!
I LOVE the food here, but my favorite part of this legendary bar, is a bartender named Liza. My entire family loves her. She always remembers our names and makes us feel at home. Come for the stuffed banana peppers, stay for the comfort and friendly staff.
Great food, nice October fest menu too!
My husband and I love it here! Great food and service. We can't stop eating there it is so good!
handled our big group smoothly with kindness and grace :)
I was here for a funeral breakfast/brunch. The food was very good and service was great. Very clean with plenty of parking.
Sean Patrick's hosted my March 2025 bridal shower. They were very accommodating. Service was exceptional. The banquet hall was beautiful. The luncheon they served in courses was delicious. The ice cream with homemade caramel sauce they had pre-portioned ahead of the event was unfortunately a bit freezer burnt. Likely if we'd had a smaller party (our group was ~50 people) this would not have been a concern. Otherwise, the event was lovely. Because it was held on a Sunday, we had the place to ourselves, which was a plus.
Christmas luncheon with my girlfriends . We are all in our 80s but still kicken.' The atmosphere is always warm and festive but particularly at Christmas. Starting with the hostess, it was a great experience. She was so warm and personable, and Erin, our server, was spectacular. We just loved her. Packed but never felt rushed and everyone loved their entrees. Been going there for years and will continue to do so, God willing.
Food is affordable and delicious atmosphere for a family or group is very nice
Absolutely perfect. Hosted a baby shower for my beloved niece and every detail 100% exactly as we planned. Great location, beautiful venue, delicious food, super supportive staff - all at an exceptionally reasonable price.
It was our first time at Sean Patricks, so we didn't know what to expect. We went on St. Patrick's Day weekend. We made a reservation and were seated quickly. The atmosphere and decor were definitely Irish inspired. After looking over the menu, we made our choices. I decided to try the Ruben soup and was glad that I did. The soup was very flavorful and wonderfully seasoned. Someone else ordered the French Onion soup and was pleased with their choice. I ordered the Shepards pie and it was very good as well. Our waitress was very attentive and catered to our every need. It was a great experience overall, and we can't wait to go back.
Had a great experience here, we had a large party of about 10, originally was smaller but we weren't sure who was coming. Got a table right away and the restaurant was super accommodating when more people showed up and moved us to a large table special. The food was excellent. I had fried shrimp which was great and also tried a wing from a party member which were really good as well! The "worst" part is they had very odd unpleasant lighting. Everything has a red tint. Felt super weird and obviously shows in the pictures too which makes their food not look as great as it is. The minestrone soup was better than Grandma's! So good! I edited the entree and soup photo to try and remove the red tint, but I left the tint in the other photos so you could see. We were also surprised by the included gratuity without any prior notification. We weren't one check, so it was strange that they added this. Also their msh was WRONG. They said the tip was 20% but their calculation added $6 to my bill. Okay, but 20% off my bill was $7. (Rounding to make this explanation easier). In my case, on that bill I would normally tip $10. The sentiment was shared across the table, so they really only ended up hurting their server, who was great and very attentive and friendly..so I hope they consider that in the future as a way to improve. Also, would have been nice if they lit the candle centerpiece on our table when it got dark.
Attended a banquet there. The room was spacious and the service was excellent! Very attentive and pleasant waitstaff. Started the meal off with a fresh, crisp green salad, warm rolls and then on to the lunch buffet. Fresh cooked carrots, penne with broccoli, cheesy potatoes, hand carved turkey and ham. Deelish! All of the food was hot and fresh and the servers consistently attended to the tables. Great job Sean Patricks!! We'll be back 😉
First time here for a very friends daughters wedding. Atmosphere was absolutely beautiful. Food was top notch, drinks were served fast, a tremendous staff. Every employee was extremely polite. These days it appears people dont want to work! NOT THIS STAFF. EACH AND EVERY PERSON THEIR WERE APPEARED TO LOVE THEIR JOBS. And done their jobs well. Highly RECOMMEND.
Last night we had our sons wedding here and I cannot tell you how wonderful it was! Liz you are amazing you were great at communicating with us throughout this whole process. Ron you did such a great job with decorating just being so helpful and kind and asking what we needed , you and Liz made the place look beautiful! The waiters were so nice and so friendly and the two behind the bar were amazing! Everyone said what a great wedding it was and how friendly everybody was and the food was outstanding! Thank you all for making my son and his wife Kristin‘s day so special ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think this place is overall just great. Nothings too expensive, Everyone I met is as cheerful as can be . -Wonderful Banquets -Classic, capable , engaged Bartenders. -Great French onion taste. I stand by all 4 stars I've given this place . Without a doubt go & give it a try 👍
Good home cooking of many favorites. Daily and weekly specials are good as well. The service and staff are friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is good with both a general eating area and a large bar area.
one of the best if not the best French onion soup I have ever tasted. everything else I had there was great. highly recommended but as a helpful suggestion make a reservation it fills up pretty quick.
The food is quite good. They give out free crackers and cheese during happy hour, which is pretty cool. I don't mind that it's slightly pricey, but I wish they were more flexible about substitutions. I always ask if I can swap out fries for a side salad and they usually say no. Come on man, I'm trying to not be fat. Just give me 50c worth of chopped lettuce and I'd give this place a 5/5.
I went to Sean Patrick's for a work related function for the holidays! As I had been there many times before, I knew that it was a great place for events. Our food and service was very good, as usual, nut the only reason why I am not giving 5 stars is due to the fact that it turned extremely cold in the room!!! It was almost like the air conditioning was on... in December??? This made for a lot of cold, uncomfortable ladies! Aside from that, food, service and holiday decor was very good, and I will return again.
I was only here for beer. The service was really good as the bartender made sure we were not without drinks, unless we wanted one. We were there before it got loud, but as the night progressed on, the loudness of the restaurant increased. This just means that a lot of people were coming and enjoying the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice and I would return again to enjoy food the next time I am in the area.
The food was good, my husband had the Reuben Sandwich and loved it. My Chicken dish was just ok. It's a little bit pricey, I like to try different restaurants once in awhile. I think this place is just average. 😏
A nice family feeling restaurant. The staff was nice but it felt like they were a tiny bit overwhelmed with our party of 12. The food was good, but the biggest complaint was it felt like there was absolutely no air conditioning and we were all quite hot. Made me really feel bad for the staff
Our waitress, Stacey, was awesome! Took great care of us and we were a larger party of 8. The food was enjoyed by all but one person. That one dish was a season special which brought the rating down one star. Would think a special would be something outstanding!
I've only ever been to Sean Patrick's for events, so I can't speak to their regular dinner menu. But the food and staff are both excellent. The only downside the last time I was there for an event was that the staff walking around with appetizers would always go in the same direction, so by the time I chased someone down, their tray was already empty. And they may have been short staffed because by the time we got our plates brought out, half the other tables were already being cleared and some even had dessert already. But other than a couple of hiccups, I definitely recommend for your next catered event or party!
I was recommended Sean Patrick's by family, so I decided to try it out. Overall, it was fine, and really, my only gripe was an obnoxious party filled with loud children screaming nearby. The staff clearly looked annoyed with them, so I think it wasn't something last minute and totally out of their hands. The food was good, I enjoyed the shepherd's pie and drink prices are very reasonable as well. Not to be taken negatively, but it seems like most of the crowd were older, so it's probably a quiet and easygoing atmosphere any other night. Our server was balancing a few tables and the party guests, but she was handling it very well and got our drinks and food to us in a timely manner. I'd recommend people to try it out.
It was really quiet in the restaurant and this was lunch. Comfortable atmosphere. There were a lot of people in the banquet room. A beautiful place and decorated for the holidays. I had fish and it was delicious. They didn't include a small salad or any bread either. Water was free.
First time eating here. Ordered soup and sandwich combo. The soup was clam chowder. Honestly, I'm not sure if it was New England or Manhattan because it was slightly creamy, but orange. It was full of clams and potatoes. It was tasty, but I prefer true New England style. I ordered a corn beef sandwich which was a little dry. I'd go back and try something else next time.
A bit dated decor but the food was good in the banquet and the call bay prices reasonable. Service was excellent.
We dined in and I had the Dublin. The turkey was old and tasted very old. I ordered it as a sandwich and it would probably been better as open faced as stated on the menu but she asked...my mistake. The drink was good. Atmosphere was great. I changed my mind at the last second and should have stayed with my first thought
Great food! Poor customer service. Sean Patricks opened at 11am today. My group of 10 came in about 11:15 .We were greated by a less then friendly hostess. Long blonde/grey hair in a pony tail very slender about 50/60 I wish I looked at her name. She asked if we had a reservation. We advised we did not. We didnt know we had to. Hostess very rudly tantrumed like a child huffed and puffed and advised she didnt know where she was going to put us. The place was empty! She shook her head and began looking at the chart all while being extra rude to the servers that were kindly trying to accomidate us. We were finally seated and our server was very kind apologizing for the dilemma. Food was great as always but we wont be going back. That greating almost sent us out the door but honestly we had no other place to go with the hour luch time we had. 10 customers you have lost today. I work at a job that prides it self on offering the best customer service possible. Thats how you keep people with your business. How were were treated was definatly less then that!
Hot peppers were in the paining. I do not eat hot peppers. Could not eat it. The potato soup was excellent.
The buffet was good, I would have given more stars except for where we were seated. There were 3 people in our party that couldn't go get their own food because of how far away we were seated. There were hallways, stairs, bathrooms, the bar and several entrances that we walked past to get to our table. For $35 per person they should have been able to go up several times. Make sure you're not seated in the garden room when there is a buffet.
Usually a wonderful experience, this fell short. We had reservations for almost 40 people, with the entire meal pre-ordered. I think the guaranteed sale and required gratuity, (because of the size of our party) meant they could short us on the attention our party was due. Those of us not drinking from the carafe of coffee or water, got to sit with empty glasses and wait. Dessert was sad. If you enjoy potato soup, order theirs, it makes the trip worthwhile even when the trip was like ours!
Not happy with late lunch. Waitress Sarah was about the only bright spot of the whole experience!! Both sandwiches were dry, fries where not done well. Almost $75 later, left disappointed. Been there many times, probably won't be back for a while Sorry
Mothers day brunch had a limited selection. No seafood, ie shrimp. Carvery was good. Quality was poor for most items like frozen potatoes etc. You even had to pay for Mimosas, which is typically free on Mothers day. Staff was friendly facility was clean and nice.
The decor I s nice, inviting. We went late on A Thursday evening to grab a quick bite to eat. The menu was eclectic, we chose chicken wings and fries I ordered a couple of bar drinks, which I felt had no liquor in them, the food was ok, nothing extraordinary. The waitress was friendly. Overall average experience, I think their prices are a little on the high side!
This is a place to avoid for lunch if you require a gluten free diet. Service was good.
The place looks nice and by nice I mean a little fancy but I give only two stars because the food was bland. No flavour on any of the food. If you plan to go somewhere to host an event and ensure everyone has a good time at least feed them some food that would give them a smile, not the opposite.
Old fashioned, boomer style restaurant. Asked for a medium rare burger and got a well done one. Fries were flavorless and my son's chicken fingers tasted like they were fried in dirty oil - which stood out because the breading had no seasoning. Would not return. Pro: didn't make me throw up at least
Went for Mother's Day Dinner. The food was lackluster. The service was a mixture of good and bad. It appeared that our waiters, we had two, we're overworked and poorly treated. I really felt for them. The 3 women taking money and seating people were just plain rude to guests and employees. I feel like all in all they were in way over their heads. Also we were so sardined in our seats we could not enjoy our Mother's Day. I will go back to Grapevine next time. They at least make you feel welcome and give more room to dine.
I thought there service was excellent and and atmosphere was perfect. The entree was not good. I got the steak which was tough, unflavored and dry. Carrots we're over cooked. Potatoes were great. The soup was outstanding as well as the salad. The Dressing was tasty and the salad cold.
We sat at a table that was next to a party of 12 and was horribly loud all night. Our booth had 3 cold air ducts underneath. We asked if they could be turned down or off, and the waiter said no, didn't offer us another table. Pork schnitzel was burnt on the bottom and dry throughout. Shrimp scampi consisted of a pound of vermicelli and so little sauce I had to dig for it on the bottom. There were 6 small shrimp that was barely warm, not grilled. No flavor whatsoever. The waiter asked if everything was alright, when I told him the problem he didn't offer to fix it or offer anything else. Order went back with a pound of pasta, but no one questioned what the problem was. Overpriced badly prepared food. The atmosphere was horrible with the very loud rude customers that should have been more considerate of their loud outbursts or sat at the bar.
Food was bland but okay, the room itself was beautiful but freezing inside. Parking is adequate.
I am only giving them 2 stars because of how poor their communication was on what room we were going to be in for my sisters bridal shower. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant and the food was delicious! They were great organizing everything and talking to my mother and I before the shower. But the reason behind the 2 stars is that I thought we were in a banquet room (picture with yellow walls) as we had booked and we were not given that room. We told them we needed a wheel chair accessible room since two guests at the shower were in wheelchairs and ONE week before the shower I was called and told we were in the "Garden Room" (picture with all the windows) since we were the third party to book and that was the last room we could be put in. I didn't know this room existed, but I had little concern with this at first since I asked what the room looked like and if it was on the website and was told it was still a banquet room. When we got to Sean Patrick's we were thrown in a small room in the back corner of the restaurant that WAS NOT wheel chair accessible and there were no wheelchair accessible bathrooms nearby. We had to get male employees to pick up the wheel chairs and get our guests down the giant 6+ inch step to get into the room. The pictures show the room we were in (room with all the windows) versus the room we thought we were going to be in (yellow room)...as you can see, BIG difference in the atmosphere and overall view/setting. If I had known we were going to be in the Garden Room I NEVER would have booked Sean Patrick's for my sisters shower. The staff was quick to come up with solutions to our wheelchair problem but showed zero sympathy for the situation they put us into. Overall it was a great day, but still very irritated that they waited until the last minute to throw the room bombshell on us and it was too late to change venues. To anyone who reads this review and wants to book an event here, make sure they let you know what room you will be in right away so you wont be disappointed like us.
We just paid $214 for four people for a breakfast buffet of powdered eggs and flavorless food. 20% gratuity was added for a kind women who removed our plates and brought us water. . The food was a 2/10… we were very disappointed.
Service was slow at first but was good the rest of the time. Food was okay we ordered a bunch of different stuff wings stuffed mushrooms fish fry. Wings were big but asked for extra crispy and were under cooked disappointed. My fiance ordered the pretzels and arrived with a hair on them which are waitress brought another one out. Would probably not go back. I know times are tough with employees and such but when you pay 14 dollars for a single order of wings that is apparently 8 wings now not 10 and you get hair in your pretzels it's a l little disappointing. Sorry paying good money for mediocre food. People will not come back.
Went this afternoon for lunch with my husband. Really nice cozy atmosphere. We were greeted by a hostess who said we could sit anywhere. We sat down and waited for our waitress, seemed like we waited awhile considering the place was dead. Finally a dark haired mid aged waitress came to our table (don't know her name because she never told us!), she placed menus on table, placed water on table and asked what else we would like to drink. Very COLD demeanor for a waitress. Not one smile. My husband ordered a drink and I said water was fine. She said I'll be back and walked away. Brought my husband's drink and placed it right in front of me and walked away. At this point we were feeling uncomfortable because obviously this waitress had something going on. She came back and asked if we were ready to order and we did, still very cold. Took our order and left. Meanwhile a larger group of about 6 people came in and seated a few feet away from our table, our waitress immediately darted over and was totally different with them, smiling, approachable...she even announced the lunch specials and went into detail about the meals ect!! Wow!! Why didn't we hear the specials for the day!? Why didn't she introduce herself to us!? Why was a party of 6 treated so much better then a party of 2? Hum, didn't take long to realize what kind of waitress she was. We got our food, not bad but waaaaay over priced for sandwiches and fries, the food was comparable to diner food! Not to mention she didn't even refill our drinks, NOT even once, my husband had an empty glass almost the entire time we were there. Our LUNCH bill was almost $30 for two people and I didn't even order a drink. We won't be going back and won't recommend to colleagues, friends or family. Its sad that such a beautiful place has such bad service.
Have had the fish fry and it is always cooked to perfection, flaky and moist. Tried the “broiled” fish Friday. It was served over cooked, dry and tasteless. Second time ordering the broiled. I specifically requested that it would not be over cooked. Served dry and tasteless again. Why do most restaurants over cook broiled fish? Very disappointed. It’s like eating tuna out of a can. Very disappointed!!!
This restaurant needs a overhaul in the kitchen the menu wait staff and managerial it took me an hour and 10 minutes to get my first drink at the table it took me an hour and 20 minutes from the time I sat down to order a appetizer when I ordered my entree it was a special off the menu being an Irish restaurant I figured they could mess up corned beef and cabbage I couldn't even cut the cabbage with a steak knife The Corned Beef was not chunked it was sliced deli sliced and it just disintegrated pictures in the microwave too long. We made a reservation for 13 and when we got there the waitress was giving his nasty looks when we made our orders for drinks an attitude and kept the five-year-old at the table waiting the longest for her food and drink. I could go on and on about this experience but what I think is there an old restaurant with a great reputation but they better revamp the menu and get some PR skills in there for the staff or it's not going to last much longer there were also three other dinners at the table that did not get eaten we basically waited almost 2 hours for entrees and I only was asked if I wanted one drink the first one it was terrible.
Fish fry was disgusting and undercooked. All soggy not crispy at all. My son ordered one of their specials and the beef was so dry he couldn't swallow it and to top it off they are priced at the high end and serve crappie food. Definitely go somewhere else and get better food for a better price!
Honestly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had 30 minutes into sitting at our table the waitress comes over to ask what we would like to order. We ordered everything at once. We got the soup that was cold about 15 minutes after ordering it without our drinks. Finally 5 minutes later our drinks come. We ordered a chocolate milk for our son which was white milk with chocolate fudge from a hot fudge sundae in it. We still have not gotten our entrees. Sean Patrick's you have to do better your restaurant is not busy and with service like this I can see why. The worst part is my wife said while we were being seated the lady said “we’ll seat you back here so you don’t bother anyone.” I’m assuming because we had our kids with us she automatically assumed they were poorly behaved and going to bother people. She then sat another table right next to us they ordered after we did and received their food and drinks before we did. We kept getting told “it’s the day after st. Patrick’s day sorry for the wait.” I’m not sure why it being the day after st. Patrick’s day had this big of an impact on an Irish restaurant but, their three servers displayed such incompetence while dealing with their restaurant customers which filled not even 1/2 of their tables. The sad part is the food is good but the service is awful. Me and my wife also had a similar experience last time we took our son there and now I’m left wondering if they truly just hate children. End of story, if you have children your taking with you go find a different restaurant.
There are only two good things I can say about this place. 1. The service was satisfactory and 2. The salad and dessert were edible!! My husband and I both ordered the shepherds pie and what we didn’t eat, went into a to go container that never made it into our house. It went directly into the garage tote upon our arrival at home!! This dish was so incredibly salty that you couldn’t taste any of the other ingredients in it!! I usually say something at the restaurant but we were a party of six and I didn’t want to hurt the feelings of the person who selected this restaurant. It will be a long time, if ever that we return to this establishment!!
Really feel comfortale at this bar ecept when unsmiling unfriendly Lisa bartending. When she comes on duty we leave. Have watched her with other customers- same thing. I really think she doesn’t like her job and should look somewhere else
Service was slow. My wife ordered chardboiled salmon and ask for it to be well done. It came very undercooked. We had to sent it back 3 times and the third time is was hard as a rock and uneatable and the sweet potato fries were mush. For 28.00 a plate, you would think it would be awesome. Very disappointing. We will not go back there.
