It was just what we needed to fuel up and push through. We had a tuna empanada and a spinach quiche.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. My partner and I shared one full English breakfast for 11.50£ which also included a coffee. The portion size was great and we both agreed that we wouldn't have been able to finish a whole one each. The staff were friendly and some of them speak English, while others seemed more comfortable with Spanish. They have a selection of tapas and hot snacks as well as several main dishes. I'd come back here if I ever visit again!

Great place to sit and relax after walking different natural reserves on the rock. It has got good views of the ocean. Staff was friendly and menu, though not extensive, was reasonably sufficient. There is a souvenir shop attached to the restaurant.

A brilliant place to stop as you are exploring the Rock, nice and cool and the drinks are fairly priced. The staff are friendly and polite. Remember to bring a rucksack for your souvenirs as the shop is full of interesting little bits and bobs.

Super pub z pięknym widokiem na Gibraltar – świetne miejsce, żeby się schłodzić przy dobrym piwie w gorące dni. Szczególnie polecamy lokalne piwo – naprawdę warte spróbowania! Trafiła im się duża wpadka z rachunkiem, ale dzięki kontaktowi z właścicielem wszystko zostało sprawnie i bezproblemowo wyjaśnione. Doceniamy taką reakcję i uczciwe podejście do gości.

Well this is a little unexpected, fabulous cafe located within the nature reserve right next to St Micheal's cave, perfect location to sit down, take a break and relax with a coffee or something to eat, nice decal with plenty of seating

If you opt to walk up the rock rather than cheat and take a taxi tour then this place is a welcome rest point when your knackered and dying for a wee and a drink . A bit like a mirage in a desert . It contains a small shop when you can get drinks and snacks and a restaurant if you fancy a bite to eat and also toilets . There was a little seating area outside which was closed in December which was a shame as it looks like a fantastic place to sit and take in the views . An added bonus is that the macaques seem to hang around outside . The only downside is the bloody taxis which seem to zoom around outside .

Tienen también tienda de souvenir para los que queremos llevar algo a casa.. una cosa más y muy importante.. las proporciones de los platos son grandes.. !

Hatte den Cesar Salat und das Knoblauchbrot sowie ein Bier. Getränk wurde sofort bereit gestellt, dass Essen kam nach ca 5 Minuten. Man sitzt nicht gemütlich aber für einen kurzen Stop total okay. Übrigens die einzige Möglichkeit sich hier im Park etwas zu essen zu holen.

This lodge style restaurant / café next door to the cave entrance is a very welcome sight to see whilst wandering around the Rock's nature reserve.. Taking in the views over the Bay of Gibraltar whilst enjoying a good coffee are pleasures not to be missed.. Just be a bit cautious with any take out food as the macaque monkeys can get a tad cheeky.. 🐒

Aunque fueron agradables, estuvimos esperando para que nos atendieran demasiado tiempo porque, básicamente, tomaron nota a tres o cuatro mesas, que habían llegado después, antes que a nosotros. También se olvidaron de servir un plato y el comensal que lo había pedido tuvo que esperar un tiempo extra a que lo cocinaran mientras el resto comíamos para que no se enfriaran los nuestros.

I think this coffee could be great, but the service was really bad! They spoke no English and we had to wait that 3 persons came and took our orders but at the end we had to pick up our order and explain it for the forth time. The bartender took a plate which had some dry dirt on it and just took the dirt away with the finger without washing it properly and gave it us anyway. So discussing. The deserts were very tasty. 4 cakes and 2 espressos costs like 22 pounds

It’s a very functional, no-frills café. The spinach pie is great, as are the empanadas. I don’t rate the burger or the cheesey garlic bread too highly though. Stick to the simple food and lots of on-tap tinto de verano and you can’t go wrong.

Wie sind mit der Seilbahn hoch und haben den Ort zu Fuß erkundet und haben Hunger bekommen. Also sind wir hier rein und haben Fish&Chips bestellt, wobei bestellt bedeutet das man zur Kasse geht und seine Bestellung aufgibt und gleich bezahlt. Das Essen war okay, fand den Fish ein wenig zu fettig und die Pommes hätten ein bisschen mehr gewürzt sein können, ansonsten war es okay aber kein Highlight.

Food at the counter is overpriced and then heated in a microwave. Mine was still very cold inside. I asked to pay with euros and was charged an unfair price for using euros. Views are nice but I suggest packing a lunch instead.

I just wanted to buy an Ice-Cream but I nearly didn't. The lady behind the desk was so unfriendly and rude that I would advise everyone to better buy your sweets and ice-creamy somewhere else but definitely not in that spot. (at least the Ice-Cream was ok, so 2 stars).

Abbiamo pranzato qui scendendo dal giro impegnativo sulla Rocca di Gibilterra. Abbiamo ordinato crocchette di prosciutto, chicken nuggets e chicken tears con patatine e per tutti e tre i piatti devo dire che il cibo era al limite del mangiabile, oltre che riscaldato a microonde direttamente davanti al cliente. Due dei piatti ci sono stati poi serviti freddi, ed è stato necessario chiedere di scaldarli ulteriormente. Il locale inoltre non eccelle anche per quanto riguarda la pulizia: i tavoli vengono lasciati sporchi a lungo e non è facile trovare un posto libero per sedersi (e con "libero" intendo libero da piatti e quant'altro). Non consigliato.

Een van de weinige eettentjes die er te vinden is op de rots. Na een lange wandeling in de zon was dit een verademing. We hebben een tosti besteld en kregen een half koude tosti. Dat was jammer.

Zdecydowanie nie polecam. Obsługa niezbyt miła pierożki (nie wiem jak to się nazywa po hiszpańsku) najgorsze jakie jadłem, rogalik z serem i szynka z mikrofalówki zbyt przypieczony i do tego ten gulasz przypominający polskie flaki albo nie wiem co obrzydliwy - ale ta ostatnia potrawa to byl test i może to jest jakiś przysmak dla mieszkańców. Ogólnie więcej bym tam Nie zjadł wolałbym czekać aż zejdę lub zjadę do centrum.

Das einzige, was hier gut ist, ist die Location. Und die Servicemitarbeitenden, die mein Handy mit ihrem Ladekabel aufgeladen haben. Das Essen an sich war leider ohne Herz angerichtet, ziemlich geschmacklos und generell einfach leider nicht gut. Die Pommes waren sehr lätschig.

Pris un round petit dej anglais 7,5 euros. Un pain coupé en deux avec une saucisse grasse et un oeuf au plat archi cuit avec du lard archi gras. Pas de couvert. Je croyais vraiment à l'assiette anglaise. Vraiment ce resto fait le minimum.

The food was really not good. The goat cheese salad was non-edible, caesar salad was horrible and the chicken burger was just chicken between two buns, no sauce or salad. we waited for the burger for an extra 15 minutes, even after everyone else got their food. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Don't buy anything with euros. Even if you have pounds, I wouldnt recommend the food. I still feel sick... We realy felt ripped of. 3 tapas (3pounds each) plus 2 beer (2 pounds each) for 20 Euros....6 Euros more if you pay with euros. That's absolutely outrageous. The owner made this number up somehow. The actual exchange rate was 1,21...

Very Nice shop, but a horrible and very expensive experince. We visited on friday 10th of september, and tried to buy some souvenirs from the shop, for 44.50 pounds. Tried to Pay 3 times with 3 different cards. The Lady at counter said that none of the transactions went throug, we did not not get a reciept as the machine was out of paper. Now on monday All 3 cards Are charged the amount. Very expensive experience. And We did not get Any goods. I tried to call several times without Luck.

Wir kamen vom Felsen runter um die Höhlen anzuschauen und hatte schon ein eher schlechtes Gefühl da es hier schon sehr touristisch zugeht. Leider gibt es keine Alternative sodass wir uns zwei Portionen Pommes mit Käse für £ 3,50 laut Karte bestellt haben. Die Pommes wie unten abgebildet waren lieblos zubereitet und latschig. Definitiv das Geld nicht wert. Aber gut ist halt der Touribonus. Das uncerschähmte ist eher die Bedienung. Sie war erstens total unfreundlich und hat die Teller einfach auf den Tisch geknallt. Da wir nur Euro dabei hatten haben wir in Euro gezahlt und es wurden 10€ von uns verlangt - für 2x Pommes im Wert von £ 3,50... der Umrechnungskurs ist momentan bei 1,15€ = £1,00. Das kommt also leide bei weitem nicht ran. Die Erfahrung deckt sich also mit dem Scam den auch andere Besucher schon erlebt haben.

This review is only for the cafe. Rude staff and only accepts cash for some bizzarre reason in 2022 at a popular tourist stop. But only tells you after you've ordered! A number of people got caught out. Out of the whole nature reserve this is the only thing I can fault. Avoid these clowns and you'll have a great day.

There was no water at the restrooms . On the mirror it was written “No drinking water” so I took soap and wanted to wash my hands. No luck. Nothing came out. When mentioning this to the staff they said that there is nothing they could do, but that I could buy a bottled water to use for washing my hands instead. Good business model no? Also, funny enough, the toilets were working fine and had water. What about that? Massive rip off.

Liars, rude service, no reminders (written or verbal) that you can't bring food outside due to the monkeys (which is odd when they will sell you food to-go ... when you're not used to monkeys in your day-to-day life it's easy to forget that you can't order to-go!), and extremely high prices. For example, it was 4£ for a mediocre muffin.

Extremely slow for a quick lunch, and it seemed like they swapped the ham in the huevos rotos for some dry bacon that they gaslighted us to believe that it was ham. The staff seemed like they hated their job, but don't we all hate our own?

Heute war das Restaurant ohne Wasser, das kann mal passieren. Was uns aber wirklich geärgert hat ist der grenzenlos unwillige Umgang mit Menschen die Pause machen wollen. Es gibt keine Speisekarte, keine Preise, Bestellungen nur an der Bar, und unser Essen (2 Bier, 3 Sorten Hähnchen und Pommes, das Einzige Essen das identifizierbar war) wurde lieblos aus der Kühltheke für 2 Minuten in die Mikrowelle geschoben. Dafür haben wir 35€ gezahlt. So etwas ist mir wirklich noch nie untergekommen. Ich hätte überhaupt keine Sterne verteilt, wenn das möglich gewesen wäre.

Food is alright, as long as you order something straight from the kitchen. If you order from the counter, it gets warmed up in the microwave. Service is absolutely trash. The cashier of the souvenir shop refuses to speak unless it is against co workers. The service at the food counter is also very bad, they act like they are super busy and walk away and talk to other staff when serving you. Do not recommend.

Lovely place, would highly recommend visiting the site. So many things to see, learn and lots to appreciate. There are wild monkeys that are extremely human tolerant and very cute running around in the area. However, the man behind the bar at this restaurant was short tempered, rude and was clearly in a bad mood. He was whipping dishes into what I can only assume was a sink. On the sign at the bar it says to order at the bar. I saw they had fish and chips on the menu and tried to order it. He pointed at a table and said “not here” and then proceeded to put three small chunks of fish on my plate and when I had asked about the chips he grabbed 3 cold fries and threw them on top. Honestly ruined the good mood I was in from exploring Gibraltar and left a sour taste. The fish for what it was is good, it is from the marina. The man is bald with glasses.

Het tentje ziet er leuk uit, maar als je een salade besteld krijg je wat sla met een hele jaar hoeveelheid dressing… we hebben de sla uit de dressing gevist, gelukkig is die niet verdronken.

Cibo di bassa qualità riscaldato al microonde. pessimo, al limite del mangiabile. Ambiente ok, servizio inesistente, tavoli sporchi. Non lo consiglio per mangiare, meglio andare da un'altra parte o aspettare di tornare giù. Le salse servite sono di dubbia provenienza ed i prezzi non adatti alla qualità del cibo servito.

Very rude staff. I stood in the queue to order but when it came to me, the person behind the counter took a bunch of coffee orders in Spanish from a waiter instead. I initially thought she asked for my order in Spanish - when I understood her but answered her in English she just ignored me and continued with the waiter in Spanish. I had already been waiting for ages and needed to go soon and I said I would get a takeaway coffee only if it could be made quickly now (before all the ones that just came from the waiter). She said yes and took my order but then went ahead to make all the orders from the waiter first. They can choose which coffee orders to make first but could've been honest about how long it'd take.
