You know how little, out of the way, hole in the wall restaurants are usually great. Well this one is too. Had the Camarones Momia. Mama mia, they were the bomb! Recommend!

I thought the “best Mexican food in the Bay” review was exaggerating but this blew my mind. Hands down my new favorite taqueria! My god. We had the flautas, Gordita, carnitas sope, and barbacoa tacos. Everything was mind blowingly delicious

This cute little tacqueria is wonderful. We had their small tacos, lingua and chicken, which were delicious using excellent homemade tortillas. We sat outside. The owner's are very responsive really aiming to please.They happily met all our requests for different salsas despite our language struggles.

Very good authentic Mexican food there's so many of these options in gilroy. This place is probably top 5 places I would recommend. It's not #1 but doesn't need to be still fantastic food. Friendly service try it out!

The tortilla chips in the nachos had way to much MSG added which made the nachos pretty bad and tough to eat. Also there was only a tiny portion of beans which where hidden underneath everything. It took 40 minutes for the food to come too

Be careful about this place. Wash your hands before and after. My wife and I both had intestinal issues after eating here 10/11/24. Lights were out in the bathroom, no TP. Nothing like shitting in the dark!!

03/09/2025 - Really bad service. We were okay with waiting more than expected for order and they didn’t even informed us once it ready. Food might be okay, customer service is terrible. Don’t come here with your family, it just completely changed our happy mood.

If you want a real and good Mexican food. Avoid this place. Those girls they don’t know how to cook.

First, parking is inadequate. Parking here must be challenging at times. There is no menu here. There is a menu board. None of the meals are priced. A chicken torta cost $10. Add $4 more Lengua. Would have been nice to know this before ordering. Apparently, none of the staff speak English. I found communicating with the waitress difficult. Example? I asked if they had Budwieser. Waitress said yes they have water. I explained that Budwieser is a beer. The Waitress said they have Posole. I asked if anyone here speaks English. She gave me a blank expression. I ordered a torta with everything plus extra jalapeños. What arrived was a plain, ordinary, run of the mill, garden variety, nothing special about it, torta without jalapeños. The torta was dry and devoid of flavor. Hands down, the worst tasting tortas ever are served here. Honestly, I cannot think of a reason to return. If you want Mexican food, go elsewhere.

Next to charlies liquor on tenth before the light at church street if heading westbound from Monterrey highway.
