An excellent clean addition to Glen Cove. Starbucks is often crowded, fast food is too low brow and not clean enough and restaurants are too fancy. This is a nice casual middle ground with high quality meals worth going out but nothing too fancy.

This is the first food restaurant so foods are average but you can choose a small portion of salad and a sandwich or a soup etc. which I like it. I had pleasant experience with the lady in the counter and they have clean and comfortable seating.

First time for cream of chicken wild rice soup! Very good, nice and hot. Very filling. As always salad was delicious and fresh. Glen Cove Panera is my favorite@

Healthy to not so healthy but hand made good food. The prices I think are high for the sizes but I recommend them for good comfort style food or healthy options. They have plenty of seating so it's easy to eat and. Ot be rushed.

My go to "healthy fast food" restaurant. I always order ahead and just come in and pick it up. Its always ready on time, I only had an issue one time when the system was down. Other than that it's always been smooth sailing. No issues with food ever! Parking here is always a hassle but I still manage to find. Overall great staff as well they're really nice! Delivery is always smooth as well!

The customer service has been great. Panera has become part of my morning routine. As I head to work, I stop by to get my cup of tea. I am always greeted with a good morning by the manager, Lauren, and Erica. The two of them create a pleasant environment at 6:30am and have displayed a willingness to make this customer happy by going the extra mile to refill my preferred tea. Thank you.

The customer service here is amazing. The manager (didn’t catch his name) was so kind and courteous. We dropped some food and he was very kind and understanding, and even replaced the meal for us. So kind and pleasant, would definitely recommend!

The service here is always great, however I recently interacted with Sam/Samantha on two separate occasions and her energy and attitude is so awesome. She makes the experience all the more great! She is kind, helpful and just a refreshing person , which you don’t always experience in customer service. Thanks again Sam and Panera for having a great employee like her.

I love Panera and the Glen Cove location is no exception! The interior is clean, warm and relaxing with a fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. There is also a convenient drive thru. Service is fast and friendly and the food is healthy and delicious!

Panera Bread is my go to study spot because it is cozy and the food is great. I would recommend the Duet Menu when you are looking for something affordable and satisfying. My favorites are the Caesar salad with Chicken Noodle Soup and the Tuna sandwich with Creamy Tomato Soup—fresh, flavorful, and perfect portion size. It’s a great option when you don’t want to spend less than $10 but still want a quality meal. I also have the Unlimited Sip Club membership. It is totally worth it. For $11.99 a month, I get unlimited coffee, tea, and soft drinks—perfect for someone like me who runs on caffeine. With prices going up everywhere (franchise coffee shops), it’s nice to have a way to save without giving up my daily coffee. Panera is my comfort choice! I really like this place.

Stopped for a quick coffee while being on a road trip. My Americano was fine enough, nothing special, regular hot coffee. Also tried orange scone and blubbery muffin, both were delicious. Service was excellent, quick, and friendly.

I always stop here on the way to the beach. Quick service, tables often cleaned. The green tea is delicious and consistent with other Panera Breads I have been to. Plenty of parking. There is lots of outdoor seating during the warmer weather. Bathrooms also are well kept and stocked. I will continue coming here frequently.

Excellent food. And their coffee is the best. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. But what I like best is that it is clean. Yes, CLEAN. I can't stand to go in and eat and the tables are sticky and the chairs are dirty and there is food stuck on the carpets. This place is clean. I'm picky; I admit it. This place meets my high standards. Good job Panera Bread. Lauren, the General Manager, knows a lot of the customers. I was in the area for 4 days and she remembered me and my usual order. Customers would come in and she would call them by name. The regular customers welcomed me and talked with me. If this was a bar it would be just like Cheers (the TV show). I credit that to Lauren's friendly disposition. If I lived here I would also be a regular patron.

My wife and I stopped by for dinner this evening. I was originally going to try their new chicken sandwich, but my wife prevailed upon me to have one of their salads. We settled on the “You pick two” option. We actually both ordered the same food items (she must have really “prevailed” on me :-). We had the turkey chili and the Fuji apple salad with chicken. I have to say that we both really enjoyed them. Very fresh And very tasty.

Not bad. The menu is fine and the store is very clean. It's a typical Panera, with nothing overly standout positively or negatively. My only complaint is that drive thru orders often take an immensely long time to process and for most of the drive thru line there is no cell service or wifi.

Absolutely love Panera salads and baked items. My only issue is their choice of beverage. Pepsi is so unsatisfying to drink. I wish they would offer Coke. That's why I usually get take out and get my own drink.

I ordered a cup of chili and the "breast cancer ribbon" bagel w cream cheese. They forgot to give me the bagel thing, and it was kind of a process to get it. The bathroom is so so, not super dirty but not super clean.

They are always good, however, for some reason today, I got a really dirty spoon. When I went back for a different one, I got a worse one. At this point they gave me a plastic spoon. So 3 out of 5 stars.

Not the best location. Need better employee screening/training. Walked in yesterday to a screaming/cursing employee who was also extremely unprofessional when ringing me up (cursed, sarcastic, etc.). What the heck?

Panera has always been a great place to grab a quick cafeteria style food. I had the French onion soup with a steak sandwich. I personally feel as though the soup was not the best that I've tasted. I definitely would not order it again. The steak sandwich was decent, the steak was very tender and cooked well. Be sure to make sure they read your order back to you because we got the wrong order the first time. We ordered the tortellini pasta and got tortilla soup! 😬

This review reflects my personal experience and opinions. This location is tricky to review because service and quality seem to vary. The soups and pastries are consistently excellent, on par with other Panera locations. The main issue is that the ice machine has been out of order for a while. On my first interaction with one manager, he said there was ‘no ice in the restaurant’ and (as I recall) mentioned only ‘six cubes from his personal Darth Vader tray’; he also said the restaurant hadn’t had any ice for some time and seemed to dismiss my comment that I’d received a small amount just the day before. When I returned later that same day, there was (surprisingly) some ice, and when I asked about it he joked that it ‘fell from the sky’ instead of explaining the situation. That left me feeling brushed off, and the lack of ice often means sodas are warm and flat. On the other hand, other staff (including another manager I’ve dealt with) have been professional and personable, and past visits have been what I expect from Panera. Overall, I’ve averaged my experiences out to three stars.

0.3 Mbps download, 1.0 Mbps upload speed! Great food, very helpful service but - HORRIBLE WiFi! I'm a regular customer, I never experienced an acceptable speed. Webpages are building up super slow like in good old dial-in modem times. Providing fast WiFi is not the most important feature for a fast food restaurant, but Panera Bread advertises free internet. It's not possible to surf with a browser without restrictions. Check out the attached speed test!

I went through the drive thru and I ordered the pick two asked for chips got bread and then I found a hair in my Mac and cheese . Not consistent food quality. Be aware produce is not fresh all the time. Got a take out salad with yellowish old argula, slushy tomatoes.. went back. No apology, just explaining that they get their produce daily and offered money back.

This may be a morning issue but every time I go in the morning, the staff is unfriendly. I went through the drive thru once, asked them for a certain pastry, that they didn't have. Response was, *long pause* we don't have that. I asked for something else, *another long pause* nope we don't have that. Then I asked if they have something similar, they said check the menu.. I tried to go last week to get a quick breakfast sandwich. Apparently the speaker in the drive thru wasnt working or the person working the drive thru didn't have their headset on. When I drove to the window, there were workers in the kitchen. I didn't even bother parking and going inside cause the attitude is just nasty in there. I honestly, give up on this location. Panera bread isn't cheap either so if I'm going to spend my money, I'll spend it where I'm treated nicely. You're better off going to Starbucks the next block over who has better staff.

Rude morning staff. I would normally stop for breakfast a few times a week. After having the drive through window slammed in my face this morning while I was saying thank you.. yeah no thanks. I'd rather go somewhere where they don't start my day off with an attitude. Sad because I like Panera otherwise.

If I could give zero stars I would. Door dash drivers never delivers the food more than once. I called the cafe and the manager was rude and hung up on me.

All hot food is re-thermalized (pre-made and reheated) in a microwave. Taste of food is not good. Breads and pastrys are their best sellers.

The bagel quality is not good compared to other Panera places I have been to like Great Neck or Bayside. The bagels should not be hard to chew in the morning time...

Any time I go into Panera they get my order wrong, their portions are minuscule, the service is abrupt and they are WAY over priced. If you want a soup or Sandwich go to a regular deli 👍🏻

Very bad customer service. Worst place to spend your hard to earn money

So last night I accidentally ordered my drink to be picked up in cafe instead of the drive thru. I pulled up to the drive thru and was told I had no order (a Sip Club drink). I asked if maybe it was in cafe, which was an accident. The girl I spoke to said I’m going to have to come inside to get it. I told her if I could just cancel and reorder for the drive thru…my feet were killing me and I really just needed the convenience of the drive thru after a long day at work. She continued to argue with me about why I ordered in cafe, no she would not accommodate me etc. in the time she was arguing with me she could’ve gotten me my drink. So now upset, I march in there and am told that Hertha is the manager…who I know is a shift supervisor NOT the manager. I voiced my complaint any way and she seemed not to even understand me. The lunch crew is usually extremely friendly and accommodating, but the night crew is AWFUL. Considering I go every lunch and pay for my Sip club benefits… will cancel and will never go back. They are rude, belligerent, and downright inconsiderate. Jaidan is usually there for the lunch shift, and he goes above and beyond, extremely friendly and makes it a positive experience. Too bad his coworkers ruined that for me.

VERY RUDE STAFF AND SUPERVISORS I used to visit this place often, but not anymore. it used to be a really nice place for relaxing and studying while you were eating your food, but now when you're there, you can hear conversations and very personal and embarrassing stories from the kitchen that nobody wants to hear while you're eating. Some employees are unfriendly, some cashiers have a very bad attitude with customers, they need more training, and when you try to let the supervisor knows about it, they don't want to pay attention to you, SUPERVISORS DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS OPINNIONS, especially the supervisor during the night hours, He tries to "listen" to you, while he's laughing about you with the cashiers next to him. I LOVE Panera. However, recently, I have been going to this one in Glen Cove and just seeing a change in atmosphere. I was there Wednesday night to do some work and I asked the girl behind the counter for a hot cup for water, and I told her I would pay for it. She said, "you can pay for it if you want, give me a dollar." She then proceeded to put the dollar in her pocket and said, "you good." She didn't ring me up or give me a receipt." Really unprofessional and I'm pretty sure that's illegal. Panera used to be an amazing place to gather. I guess the standards are falling.

I am so disgusted! I have been eating the frontega chicken panini for as long as I can remember. Today, while finishing up my sandwich, I found a long, straight hair wrapped around the chicken & avocado. I was offered another sandwich, but no refund (of course). I don't think I will ever be able to eat that again! My hair is braided back; it definitely wasn't my hair. I feel sick...

I belong to the sip club and order drinks all over the country when I travel. At this particular Panera when I ordered my coffee with cream and Splenda on my app, Ian in the drive thru added the cream, but not the Splenda. I questioned him about this and he said they don't add Splenda. However, they added cream, so I don't see why I didn't have my drink prepared as ordered. I let him know this and I also let him know that I checked online for the procedures at Panera and yes, in fact they do add Splenda upon request, which is how it was ordered in the app. The Splenda packets were added in my bag on top of my bagel. I asked Ian how am I supposed to drive, mix the Splenda with my finger because no spoon or mixing utensil was given? Very disappointed in the attitude I received back from Ian. I called to complain and clarify on Panera policies and procedures . I asked for the regional manager's name. Ian refused.

THE BAGELS WERE JUST THROWN IN A BROWN PAPER BAG, LIKE TRASH !!! AND THE BAGELS WERE NOT COMPLETELY DONE .... THE DOUGH WAS STILL FRESH AND THE BILL WAS $11.56 .... CLEARLY NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GOING BACK ... NO WONDER THERE WAS NO LINE AT THE DRIVE THRU !!!! AT OUR LOCAL DUNKIN YOU HAVE A DRIVR THRU THAT GOES OUT INTO THE STREET !!!! AND THEIR SERVICE .... I was really disappointed with my visit to Panera. The employees looked completely overworked and stressed, and the manager came across as pretty rude when I asked a simple question. On top of that, the food was subpar for the price — definitely not worth what I paid. I won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I went for lunch here and as I’m ordering I asked if the avocado was fresh and if so if I could get a half of avocado. The manager Steven replied fresh is in off the tree I said no obviously and proceeded with my order. As I get to the window the young man not to mention who is always sweet and kind handed me my order and I noticed that there was a half of a half. I then asked the young man for the manager and he came to the window and I informed him that I asked for half of avocado and was told that half was $99 cents. He said that I can give you another piece for $99 cents I said no that’s not what you said earlier. He replied when customers complain they can have whatever they want and gave me the other half and then said you can have a free sandwich as well if you want. I replied I didn’t want a sandwich but that’s the wrong response. How disgusting and sarcastic he was. It’s sad that someone saw fit for him to supervise. He is an example of what you don’t want to be when you Manage people and deal with customers. I can’t imagine how he treats the staff. This situation ruined my lunch. I hope his managers read this and make the necessary adjustments. Beware of him folks!
