After visiting the Dinosaur Valley state park we got hungry and decided tried out a local place to Glen Rose. Man was this place a good surprise! Great service, friendly staff, delicious food! Really good prices, like half price compared to Dallas!

Was beginning to give up on good in Glen Rose... It was really good! The cheeseburger was fresh, hot and tasted great! If I say "mmm" while I'm chewing, it's good lol. The fried sliced jalapeños were AWESOME! and the sweet potato fries were good! Great burger place, best I've had in a while!

In town for dinosaur-related adventures, and my wife wanted a good old-fashioned hamburger. We decided to give Grumps Burgers a try, and we are so glad that we did. My youngest son and I had the BBQ bacon cheeseburger, my wife had a regular hamburger, and my oldest son had a bacon grilled cheese sandwich. Everything was fantastic. The burgers were cooked to perfection, and the bacon wasn't thin (you know, the kind that makes you mad!). The service was great, and the lady who was helping at our table was very kind. The spicy ketchup is exactly that: spicy (as if it's not in the name). If you don't like or can't tolerate spicy foods, avoid them like the plague. But if you're like me and love spicy foods, then this ketchup is a treat. If you're in Glen Rose, go to Grumps.

We didn’t realize how many different things were on the menu so we want to go back and try some other things. So worth the stop and so glad we ate local when driving thru Glen Rose.

Went on family vacation to Glen Rose and luckily stumbled across this amazing burger day 2 of a 6 day trip. Gave me enough time to come in two more times! The food was fresh and quick, the environment was laid back and relaxing and most noticeable thing was the excellent customer service I received not just from one employee but from every single one in the building. This is on my list of I’d alter a route on a future trip to be able to eat here again.

I love the cheese hamburger I got, it was so tasty and I had everything on it that I loved. just the cheeseburger was so filling I didn't even eat all of my French fries. They also had fried pickles which I tried for the first time and they were terrific. I got me a chocolate shake it was so good on a hot day.

We love Grumps in Granbury and this one is just as great! Great friendly service as soon as you walk in, while you order and when they bring your food to you. Really good with the roasted ranch. If your looking for a “homemade burger” experience then this is the place.

Yes parking sucks but we have a an F350 and an F250 and have parked in their parking lot a million times as we are locals. On the occasion the parking lot is too full there’s a lovely bank right across the way that we will park at when the bank is closed as not to disturb their business. Do not let silly things like a 1 min detour down a one way street or tight parking stop you from indulging yourself into this delightful place. I have not encountered one single unfriendly employee but I’ve heard customers be down right hateful over things that was out of their control and their group always handles theirselves with the utmost class and grace. The food is always wonderful fresh and hot. I’ve seen this crew run their butts off an hour before closing because a school bus decided to make a pit stop (let me remind you about previous reviews about parking) IVE SEEN FULL-SIZE BUSES make it work. Even close to closing I’ve never encountered a single employee to make me feel rushed even when my small children are taking entirely too long to eat the food. This place, these people are outstanding. I’ve watched the owners pour their soul into this place and not only do they receive money into their business they pour it back into their communities. They show the most school pride you could imagine and their hearts are with them. If you ask me I will always spend my dollars with my locals that spend their money putting back into our communities and our kids education. I’ll be a customer for life for who they are as people alone. The food is an added bonus. To the owners, keep cooking those burgers and I know our locals will always shine for you guys.

This is my first pick always when we go out to eat. It never fails us. Food and Burgers are always on point. Beer is cold, drinks are strong, and the games are rolling on all the tvs. (Even local glen rose games!) our favorite family restaurant in glen rose! Only negative is they are closed Sundays or else we’d probably go every Sunday 🤣

The burgers were out of this world. When I tell you that they were homestyle burgers, I am not kidding. The owner 💥Lindsey was an absolute sweetheart. The root beer was like something I’ve never tasted. I think it was a coke brand from Texas, but I cannot remember. Oh, and the peanuts beforehand totally kept the kids at the bay lol If you and the family would like to take a vacation. Go check out the dinosaur attractions, and get you a burger. Did I mention the prices were totally affordable?!

I will be a Grumps Burger man. I enjoyed the location. I have to admit Whataburger now has competition. The size of the meat patties was a surprise to me. I haven't seen a patty as large as at Grumps Burgers. Fries come in various patterns and thickness. Jalapeño ketchup is a must to try.

Best burgers we've had in a long time and reasonable prices. We tried the Swiss mushroom burger and the avocado burger with regular fries and sweet potato fries. The staff made us feel super welcome and cared about and they gave fantastic and enthusiastic service. As travelers, it was nice to be able to eat on the patio with our dog.

We have always loved Grumps - Glen Rose. Great food, excellent customer service and phenomenal environment! Owners are amazing and the wholeheartedly serve the Glen Rose community!! Last week we had a death in our family. I reached out to Lindsey, the owner, to inquire about a large pick- up order for 20 people. We had specific instructions on how to prepare the burgers so that they could not get soggy. Everything was perfect, we had 20 to go burgers, all the sides, fries, even bacon! It was ready when I got there, the manager helped me carry it to my car! We love Grumps, the staff and highly recommend!

The jalapeno ketchup was so good, a little too spicy for fries but perfect to give the burger a little kick. My partner had the chili cheese burger and some onion rings. He said the rings were good and crunchy but the burger was just fine. The food didn't blow our minds but we'd go back.

Somewhere, we had read the Grump's had GF. They do not. Salad or lettuce wrap only options. Salad was good but I really wanted a burger.

I had the chili burger and sweet potato fries. The combination of everything in the burger is good but if it wasn't for the chili that topped the meat, the burger would have been dry. The sweet potato fries were actually really good this time around compared to the grand opening day. This place has gotten better.

I ate here for lunch and the food is alright. My burger was decent, but not as good as I expected based on the reviews. It was a basic burger that I could get just about anywhere. I got onion rings and, again, they are fairly basic onion rings. Certainly not the worst, but nothing special either. The service was extremely friendly and overall that probably swings my vote to 4 stars instead of 3. I didn't try any of their ice cream or shakes and maybe that would have made the meal better. Overall, I wasn't disappointed and you will get a decent burger with great service.

We arrived and it was short wait. We noticed a large roach on the wall and no one did anything about it. Also my wife's burger tasted off and she did not finish it. Her stomach was upset about a hour after eating and lasted until the next afternoon. I have eaten here before and this is the first time that things were bad.

Saw the rating and gave it a try since in town for the night. Great small town atmosphere. Burger was good. Wait from order to burger was about 50 minutes 😱 Had free peanuts to shell and eat while waiting. Had 2 beers. (Sign said happy hour 3 to 7) Would I do it again, probably not.

We brought our dog however there is no signage on protocol. Upon entering we were curtly greeted to go to the patio which is fine however they do not offer service there. When we ordered the staff seemed inconvenienced. The girl who delivered our food was very nice though. Food was excellent. I would like a complimentary burger to return to see if staff’s attitude improves. So very disappointed as the patio is lovely.

Went here @2pm on Labor Day. We were told it would be 30 minutes for our food to come out but it took 50 minutes! for one hamburger, one chicken sandwich and one order of sweet potato fries. NOT acceptable! My burger was fine but my wife's chicken sandwich was so salty she wasn't able to eat it. We won't be back.

Called and made a pickup order just to never receive a verification text back from the number posted on the signs. Got told 20-25 minute wait which would’ve been fine if we didn’t end up actually waiting 45 minutes and I had to call back again to ask about my order and got told they were sorry they FORGOT about us…. The chili was completely cold and the burger itself felt microwaved and the sweet potato fries were harder than rocks.. obviously redropped already cooked fries when I was told they completely “re made it fresh” . I’ve never been so disappointed in a grumps location before!!!

98° outside my ten pound dog would never survive in the vehicle while I went inside to order to go. So I brought him in on my shoulder just to order to go food. And as I get to the counter after waiting in line for 10 minutes, the manager says, I have to leave and I can not order inside. So I go outside and wait for an order after placing it over the phone. After waiting 45 minutes, I had to leave. I'm not waiting an hour to cook 1 burger. I've been to literally almost every other Grumps, and they never have a problem with me or my tiny dog. What a control freak this manager was. I think he has little man syndrome. What a waste of time!

Terrible service and an even worse manager. Staff were rude and the manager was openly unprofessional. Completely ruined the experience. I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend Grump’s Burgers to anyone.

Subpar burger, very dry however the fries are pretty good, but they do not give you a very large portion. I prefer the burger at Big cup.
