MTB event rentals

This company is worth every dollar you spend. Due to the increase in events in our post-COVID world, it was hard to even get a response from some of these rental companies. However, even though it took a few calls and emails, MTB was very easy to communicate with and their quality of work speaks volumes. They were able to answer all my questions in terms of the quantity of items I was order with respect to the number of guests I had, questions about colors of the linens, sizes of the tables and offered suggestions that worked well with my event theme. The quality of their items were impressive. Everything was well taken care of when it comes to delivery and pick-up. I was very impressed with their efficiency and the delivery team even worked with me when I was not able to be at location during pick-up. The light coral linens worked so well with the gold chiavari chairs and their Fleur china set is gorgeous! Definitely a highly recommended company!

What a nightmare - if it wasn't for my wedding coordinator that vouched for this business and said this company is indeed a real business, I would have moved on to another event rental company. I submitted a quote on April 11. I received a response, and I replied to that email requesting to make an adjustment before moving forward with payment. No response. I sent a follow-up email April 17 and April 21. No response. I submitted a new quote on May 3. You get an email saying someone will reach out between 24-48 hours. It prompts you to give them a call if someone does not reach out after 48 hours. A person never reached out. I call and get in touch with a person. She says she is unable to get to the order that day, so she will give me a call back the next morning to work on the order. I clear my work schedule the next morning to make time for this call - they never call. It is now May 31 - and I give them another call. She said she will not be able to give me a call until after 4pm. The last time I spoke with a representative, she said she would not be able to address my quote that same day because it was after 4pm and after business hours - and then, she never returned my call. We'll see if 7th times the charm. Stay tuned - will update the review after getting in touch, if able to get in touch. UPDATE: I was able to get in touch with the senior manager and received my quote on June 2nd. Having received my review, she reached out directly to me and apologized for my experience. She offered a discount to salve the experience over the last couple months, which I really appreciated. I could tell she was sincere about her apology, and that this is a small business that is dedicated to giving their customers a great experience. They are also aware that they are short staffed and it is making it difficult to meet the demand of the wedding industry following its resurgence, post-covid. Especially given my wedding coordinator's ardent recommendation of this company, I'm eager to move forward with them. Will update again following my experience using their rentals for my event. UPDATE ON MARCH 26: The MTB Event Rentals team have really up leveled their customer experience! I do not wait more than 2 minutes whenever I call with an inquiry or request for support. They are responsive, helpful and I'm looking forward to their partnership at the event!

They charge first for the selected parts, then instalation, then charge for cut and tape, then let's say it costs $15k only for 100 guests then $5k for shipping and $4k for removal and cleaning, basically you end up paying arm and legs. Not helpful management, specially Levon. It takes us 4 weeks to receive an organized quote with right pricing and availability of items.

I reached out to MTB Rentals in September for a quote for a Christmas party I’m organizing in December. Despite requesting a revised quote three times and making multiple phone calls, I still haven't received anything. This experience has made me anxious about planning my event. I can only imagine the stress of coordinating a wedding with a company like this. I wouldn’t trust them, and I hope others don't have to face the same frustrations I have.

After receiving a quote from MTB, I requested some changes to the rentals and an updated quote. It's been over one month now and I've sent three follow-up emails. No response. Radio silence. Completely unprofessional. If I can't rely on them to deliver basic quotes, there's no way I'd trust them with my actual wedding date.

MTB was 90 minutes late delivering our order to.our wedding venue. The staff on the truck stopped answering our wedding planners calls, and the office staff lied to her, telling her the delivery team was already on site. All our other vendors were early, and had to wait for MTB so they could finish their own setup. If it wasn't for the grace and skill of our wedding planner in pulling things together, our wedding would have been ruined.

I am planning my daughters wedding and it’s been over 4 months we have been trying to finalize our order. Multiple call and daily email resends and NOTHING. We had a meeting in the showroom to pick all our items and then since then we have been ghosted. We heard the girl that had our file is no longer working but that means no one took over our file. My caterer is the one who highly recommended them so really hoping we can get our Wedding order confirmed or else we have no choice but to move on!! Frustrating for everyone involved.

The staff on the truck stopped answering our wedding planners calls, and the office staff lied to her, telling her the delivery team was already on site.
